The main pull behind ETH's rise during the last bull market seems to have been ICOs. I don't think that this hype will repeat however, so I'm not sure about whether ETH will make that much of a comeback.
It a hard reality that everyone should understand, we saw a good rally in ETH because the ICO market was booming during that time and i made my profit during that time and so does everyone but we know the situation now, there is no successful project in the market and the scammers took full advantage of the ETH token facility to run away with the money and now we hardly see any investment in the altcoin market.

1362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 08, 2019, 09:18:28 AM
This will become a regular occurrence in the future. T20 leagues are sprouting up all over the world. First we had the IPL, which blocked around 2 months of the international calendar every year. Then Australia came up with the BBL and the ECB created the Vitality Blast. Later, the WICB came up with the CPL, and the Bangladeshis came up with the BPL. South Africa and Pakistan followed with the MSL and PSL respectively. Even Hong Kong, Nepal, Afghanistan and Canada have their own T20 leagues now.
I feel like many cricketers retired from international cricket to prolong their career to play in these leagues world wide as they pay a much bigger pay scale and they gets more time to spend with their family, we cannot blame them for their choice in life, i felt if there was no league like these we would have seen players like AB de Villiers playing for their national team much longer.

Looking forward to my girl MACKENZIE DERN fighting AMANDA RIBAS at UFC FIGHT NIGHT 161
I am looking forward to see her fight but she is coming after a long gap after giving birth to her child, so it is really difficult to predict how she will come back being a mom and perform the same way she used to do in the past.

Since you made me wonder as well, I did a little research. Israel Adesanya got 6 awards on his 7 fights: four Performance of the Night and 2 Fight of the Night. He got those Performance of the Night against Brunson, Tavarez, Wilkinson and Whittaker (currently) while he get the latter two when he fought Gastelum and Silva. The only match where he don't get an award is his match against Marvin Vettori Smiley.
Israel Adesanya is the face of UFC in a short time, he started fighting in UFC in 2018 and within two years he became the champion is an incredible feat.
When i  see these kind of meteoric rise i feel sad for Tony Ferguson who is performing at the top level for a very very long time and still he was not able to fight for the belt.
1364  Economy / Economics / Re: Coincheck of Japan Rolls Out Bitcoin (BTC) Payment for Gas on: October 08, 2019, 04:43:34 AM
In theory this is really good for adoption.
In practice - who knows, it depends on ordinary Japanese taking up the offer to actually use their bitcoin for something. Hopefully the 3% discount will encourage them, though some may decide they'll make more by just hoarding their bitcoin.
This is how you attract new customers into a new product, it is a classic method and you need to provide discounts and offers to the users so that they will start using it and that is how adoption is to be made and not by charging higher fees in ATM machines and other methods where you will not get the correct valuation and for the normal individual to shift to something new, getting incentives for use is the best method.

But at the same time, it was neither Jadeja nor Ashwin who destroyed the South Africans during the last day of play. The person who was responsible for that was a pacer (Mohammed Shami), who sicked to line and length bowling despite getting much support from the pitch.
Hope you meant that Mohammed Shami bowled well despite not getting much support from the pitch for the fast bowlers, if you look at the dismissals he was accurate enough to bowl the ball exactly in the cracks and that will have an unusual change in trajectory and it is difficult for any batsman to judge if the ball is coming over 130 KMPH.

They way Faf du Plessis got out was apalling. He left a ball that was too close, and it took his off stump away. All the 5 wickets that Shami got were either clean bowled, or LBW. And this was on a track that was as dead as a nuclear testing ground.
The ball was pitching well outside off stump and Faf du Plessis decided to leave the ball and it hit a crack and it swung a lot and took his off stump, you really cannot do anything about it. Sure he could have tried to defended the ball but you will get micro seconds to make a decision and on seeing the ball pitching well outside off side he decided to leave and then how much time he will get to change that decision Cheesy.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 08, 2019, 02:21:55 AM
Somehow Sri Lanka has won the T20 series which none could've expected because of ODI series winning by Pakistan as well as Pakistan sitting on the top of the Men's T20 table.
It was not a lucky coincidence that Srilanka won both the matches, they trashed Pakistan in both the matches and the star of the series is Umar Akmal with two golden ducks  Cheesy.
Nuwan Pradeep bowled really well in both the matches and he made all the difference by picking early wickets after Srilanka posted a good score, so it was a complete dominance from Srilanka.

BTW, it is surprising that West Indies is ranked so low, despite the fact that they have some of the best T20 players in the world.
West Indies have players who performs well in domestic T20 leagues and they have a star studded power hitters and can fit into any team but the problem is that they never performed as a team and majority of these star players will not be available for selection West Indies if they are engaged in a T20 league.
In short these players give more importance to the high paying T20 leagues than their national team.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 07, 2019, 06:08:42 PM
I did not say easily win the match but rather there is a possibility they can win just like England won the test match with 9 wickets gone and SA already made 400+ runs in the first innings.
Come on buddy, you are still rolling  Cheesy, i have posted your exact response regarding the match below. I will never respond like i said if you never questioned the declaration and then claim that South Africa could easily chase the total on the final day. England was on a role that time as they have four players in their Test team who have a strike rate of above 100 in ODI, so they can make an attempt to chase the score and if Australia could pick wickets then they will never attempt to chase the score.

SA will easily win this match. Tomorrow's whole day of play and they have Knock and du Plessis who could easily get them the required runs. They should have atleast played till the end of the day and declare tomorrow. Why to declare before reaching 450?

This is not the end so let's see what will happen in future matches Cheesy
I am not expecting any changes in the Test series as India will win the series without much sweat  Cheesy.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 07, 2019, 04:43:06 PM
It will be the biggest fight EVER on the UFC, surpassing the first match. All the naysayers saying "we don't want to see Conor beat up again by Khabib, it's already done" will be buying and watching, or perhaps only watching... but still watching at the end of the day.
There is no doubt that Khabib rematching against Conor will be another highest grossing PPV and that is the reason Dana White is also really interested in this match up.

Odds will obviously be for a Khabib stoppage, the money will be in betting for a Conor win. My strategy is to put money on Conor by UD, there is no other way I see Conor winning, maybe SD if super close. I don't see him stopping Khabib, however, and believe it or not, I see Conor being able to stay away from the fence for some sounds and force Khabib to be on the feet.
There is no way Conor will have the stamina to last five rounds with Khabib, the only situation i see is a flash knock out and if it goes the second round then there is no way Conor is going to beat Khabib.

He is going to need to improve his cardio a lot, his stamina has to be ready for the last 2 rounds. I think people are underrating Conor's grappling, he did actually pretty good on fight 1, the nightmare comes when he is pushed against the fence, he has to avoid that.
Conor has a great take down defense against average wrestlers but Khabib is on another level when it comes to grappling, it is not that easy to improve the cardio just like that, if that was that easy he would have done that already before fighting in the UFC  Cheesy.

But first, we need to see how it goes for Tony, but the good news for Conor fans is that it doesn't matter the outcome, the rematch is happening 100% assuming Conor doesn't fight before the rematch and losses.. perhaps that would kill the buzz, so if he fights he MUST win.
Tony is the fight we need to see against Khabib and in the mean time Conor has to fight someone else, Dustin Poirier will be the perfect opponent for Cornor as both lost against Khabib and they faced each other at 145 pounds.
1369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers inside cryptocurrency investing on: October 07, 2019, 02:07:30 PM
First off, that is really an extremely horrible idea. Cryptocurrency volatility can kill your pocket and rapidly reduce all your hard-earned investments.
No one in their right mind will not invest all their hard earned money into one market, you will have a certain percentage of your investment scheduled out for each and every financial market if you are a good investor and then according to your budget you have to diversify according to the risk involved in each market. If you are looking for the long term and invest when the market is on a correction phase you will end up in profit no matter how long it takes the market to recover.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: From 150 - To 15 000 $ - ETH (speculation) on: October 07, 2019, 10:47:37 AM
It is the second coin on CMC, but if devs would not fix the current price, XRP, LTC or BCH may take advantage out of its instability. I love ETH, but its price is just disappointing and I fingers crossed ETH would raise till the end of 2019.
Hope you are not aware of the fact that the devs does not control the price of any commodity in the market Tongue. Investors with real money in their hands make the difference and for that to happen you need to have a crypto currency that is unique than the rest to create a demtand and i highly doubt ETH can do that, the price rallied a lot when the token business was in full swing and now we all know that majority of them were fake and some died off and then we had some projects where they shifted to their own chain. So to see a valuation like we had in the past is highly unlikely and if the price reaches its all time high then i would say it is a win situation for all the investors Tongue.
1371  Economy / Economics / Re: Retirees in Mexico say their life savings were stolen by a Mexican bank on: October 07, 2019, 10:12:39 AM
If people still mess up badly with fiat, they will guaranteed mess up with Bitcoin, or lose it somehow by mistake themselves. Bitcoin isn't the magical wonderpill to solve these problems. It will take years before average people know it works, what the risks are, and that there isn't anyone going to refund you in case you get scammed or send the wrong recipient money.
Bitcoin is not meant for the lazy joe who depend everything on others to do the job and sure bitcoin will not solve any of these issues and there will be more complaints from the common joe that they lost their life savings because they forgot to save the encrypted password or accidentally formatted the hard disk without taking the private key details.

Now they know not to entrust their finances to anyone.
You cannot trust a third person with your finance and if you are investing in government bonds then you might have an insurance if something happens, bitcoin is meant to get rid of the third person to entrust your savings but it is difficult for the average person to understand everything.

He is already a legend in the Indian bowling department and he has the potential to surpass Murali if he continues taking wickets in the long-term.
There is no doubt that Ashwin is one of the best bowlers India had and he has four centuries alongside his haul of wickets and can be considered as an all rounder and if he is able to perform consistently then he might break many records but to perform at the same level for a long time is a big task and when it comes to Murali he is the only bowler who is capable of taking wickets in any pitches around the world and bowled majority of the overs and he is a special talent. Shane Warne and Murali are in a league of their own and no one can compare these two legendary spinners.

What was it with Sasirajavu ? I really missed the fun of all these cricketing topics.
It was a funny banter when one of our member said that South Africa will easily chase the score of 390 runs on the final day, no team will chase a score of 280 runs on the final day in India that easily let alone 390 runs and hence i said i will shave my head if they are able to defeat India Cheesy. Surviving the final day to draw the match in India is a hard task let alone trying to chase the score.

@Sasirajavu i really wish to see your curly looks gone  Cheesy
No further comments  Tongue. I don't mind doing so if that makes you happy  Grin.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 07, 2019, 06:28:52 AM
I don't know why the PCB didn't scheduled a match on Sunday. It could have got them much higher revenues than what they could get on a weekday. And T20 is a very short format, and the players don't need a day's rest to recover from it. They should have scheduled two matches on Saturday and Sunday, rather than giving a break in between. I have seen some of the smaller teams even playing two T20 matches in a single day.

When you are in school and college everyone used to play 4 T20 matches on a daily basis as we used to play from morning till the sun goes down, but that does not mean that International players will be doing that   Cheesy. They have a match scheduled on week day and it is a bilateral series and you cannot have matches daily and the tournament is conducted in Pakistan after a long time and even now they had terrorist threat and you need to have proper security measures.

I speculate that Conor will be less on Dana's priorities now that he has found his new pet in Israel Adesanya hehehe.
Dana White is a good businessman and he knows how to make money and which fighters to promote at the right time, with Conor McGregor he was able to get fans from Ireland and England and with Israel Adesanya he is able to capture the Australian and New Zealand fans along with the African fan base, Conor did loose a lot of fans because of his outside antics by fighting old people in bar and he is not having any easy fights to return back to MMA too.
1376  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: October 06, 2019, 06:23:03 PM
I will submit KYC or Know your costumer depend on how website I joined, not all bitcoin website I will KYC because I think have bad impact for us at the future with some thing wrong our data ID, maybe only for exchange market I will submit KYC like on Binance, Bittrex and my local exchange market Indodax for cash out money.
If you are dealing with finance you are bound to carry on with submitting your identification documents to carry on the financial deals to comply with the international rules and regulation. If you think that your data will be misused then you cannot trust any of these exchanges as they are not regulated by the government and yet they are collecting these documents to comply with the international financial regulations to avoid future issues.
KYC is taken by companies to combat fraud.

Many of us here are hardcore bitcoin believers. If you are anything like me, you've put most of your savings in bitcoin.
However, how painful is it to watch bitcoin price plummet?
I will be lying if i say that i will not worry when the price of bitcoin plummet, not only with bitcoin but with any form of investment and if the market goes down you will be worried on when the recovery will be. I have put my savings in bitcoin alone, earlier i used to diversify in alt coins too but now i only focus on bitcoin and the free coins i got because of the forks we had in bitcoin and i am here for the long term, so these small corrections will not hurt me as i have a clear idea on what to do with my investment.
1378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance not accept my citizenship, Alternative? on: October 06, 2019, 04:36:44 PM
Guys my Citizenship is fkng Iran, I asked Binance support and guess what? They said not only they dont accept my KYC also they told me to leave Binance forever and they told me Im not allowed to use Binance even for small amount btc.
Majority of the trading platform rejects users from  Iran because of the trade restrictions with Iran, either you have to find an alternative by purchasing a account that has undergone a KYC from other country to trade, these are extreme steps you have to undergo to overcome these trade restrictions.

While searching i found this site btc-iran . Looks like you could trade using that site, not sure. Just have a look.

LBC does not allow users from Iran not sure about Paxful. There will be alternative to overcome the restrictions.
1379  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sentiment just hit rock bottom on: October 06, 2019, 02:18:14 PM
Reddit & Bitcointalk have most bears but Twitter stays cool.
Not sure how the metric is taken, usually is consider these social media contents as trolls and speculators, there will be more contents and sentiment regarding the market in Reddit and in this forum because these forums are specifically dedicated for these market and hence if you take the metric you will find more contents regarding that and social media has a broader content.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 06, 2019, 01:33:23 PM
It won't be as big as his fight with Robert Whittaker.
Ideally, the next big fight for him is Jon Jones because of their war of words and popularity but that won't happen unless they both agree for a catchweight.
Paulo Costa is a Brazilian super star and Israel Adesanya has some star powers and he might be able to attract big crowds if he is fighting with his outspoken character, do not feed him to Jon Jones now, i can bet that Jon Jones will eat him alive as he is much bigger and stronger and creative than any other fighter in MMA, we need to wait for that for sometime, let Israel Adesanya defend his belt and create a reputation and then challenge Jon Jones.

Jon is too big for Adensanya and I don't think that he has a chance as well. Let him defend his belt for a while and see how it goes for him. He needs to win more and clean up that division first.
Sure there are more challenges for Adesanya in his division and if he is able to clean out the division then he could challenge Jon Jones. I do not see anyone defeated Jon Jones but it will be an interesting fight.
