1381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 In Bitcoin [ The Year Is Over ] on: January 03, 2019, 01:28:13 PM
To be honest, I am very happy that 2018 ended already, because I really had enough of this bear market. I know that the new year does not necessarily mean change, but I feel better about it, that we can start building something from scratch, and I hope that investors think similarly. It allows me to think positively and I wish everyone the same!

Well it was one hell of  year. What started out with high hopes ended with major losses but hopefully, a lot of lessons as well. Many people are quite happy it's over but we can't be too sure that a new year would start a different trend. Again, we should all learn from the lessons that last year taught us.
1382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: REGULATIONS - A boon or a tale of woe? on: January 03, 2019, 01:24:44 PM
When it comes to regulations,I only care about one thing. Are cryptocurrencies legal in the big jurisdictions.
This is the only important regulation we need. All the other regulations, such as KYC policies are kinda pointless, if you ask me.A KYC policy won't stop the scammers from scamming the naive people.

Well it's legality of course can determine whether we can go forward or not since crypto won't survive being illegalized. Those smaller regulations i think would help in securing that legality. Yeah there won't be any safety from hackers and scammers but it'll at least bring confidence to new investors.
1383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yearly All Time Lows For BTC on: January 02, 2019, 03:55:41 PM
2012 - $4
2013 - $65
2014 - $200
2015 - $185
2016 - $365
2017 - $780
2018 - $3200

Puts a lot into perspective.
You can clearly see the different down price of bitcoin every year but every year we also experience the ATH of bitcoin. I hope in the end of 2019 the lower price of bitcoin will be around $5000-$10000. I am totally have huge losses in the year of 2018 and I do not want to happen it again in this year.
Well 2018 also showed us that not every year we're going to have an ath or a sustained positive run. We're all hopeful for this year but i'd make my expectations a bit conservative to be ready if this bear trend continues.
1384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People with most bitcoins should be in their 20's by now on: January 02, 2019, 03:51:35 PM
Most are probably on their 30s and 40s, especially those with prior interests in cryptography and a digital cash system (Nick Szabo, Hal Finney and others, just to name a few). While the majority of those with interests in crypto are in their 20s, it's undeniable that those whales are somewhat older, due to their money and experience in the field. It'll be cool to know the demographics of bitcoin users but then again, that goes against 'privacy' and some statistics regarding age groups of bitcoin users may somewhat be unreliable.

Some would also be in their 50ies - I know some, who had noticed Bitcoin as soon as it made its appearence and they were in their 40ies and immediately felts its potential. But perhaps, they didn't get into mining then...

Yeah though younger people tend to take more risks than older ones. And people in their 30s and above should be much more stable financially to afford making risky investments.
1385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think we have had the correction point in the dip of BTC? on: January 02, 2019, 03:46:28 PM
This sudden dump in the price of bitcoin is not something we have not seen before looking at the trend of bitcoin from history but at any point in time there is always a correction point where we hit the bottom finally and start to rise. Currently it seems the bottom settled at $3k do you think that is the correction point finally or we can still another dump in the price?

It's really hard to tell dude. We may think that that is the bottom but just like when btc was steadily above 6k and we though that 5.5k was the bottom, we came spiralling down to 3k. And few thought that all time low for 2018 would come during the last quarter.
1386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you guess a bull run in this year? on: January 01, 2019, 04:31:24 PM
Nope not in this year of 2018 will be happen of the bull run, But maybe in the year of 2019 it will started the bull run. But for now it was to difficult to predict because the year of 2018 was going to end and no bull run happen.
There was no bullish trend in 2018 and you are right. But in order for a bullish trend to appear in 2019, it is necessary that crypto still falls in price, so you need to knock out those who prefer hodl.

Well 2018 has officially bowed out and that puts am end to hopefuls that a miracle end run might happen. Now let's be more realtic and try to tone down our expectationa since the first quarter of this year may very well be in the same trajectory.
1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is here on: January 01, 2019, 04:28:21 PM
I do not believe that the next bull phase has yet arrived we likely saw a temporary gain in the market from shorts being closed or a rise from an oversold position. The failure to sustain the increase has born this out and I think we will be waiting for another 3 - 4 months for the bull phase to officially begin.
I share the same thoughts as you but the market has maintained its position for a while now its likely it keeps recovering or it dumps even more. Let's hope it's here finally.

Well, recent happenings don't indicate a resurgence of the bulls anymore lol.  That run wasn't even enough to get us past 4.5k. The wait is going to be a little longer it seems.
1388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So much money being made by crypto traders! Can you see that? on: January 01, 2019, 04:24:39 PM
The current state of the crypto market is definitely not for newbies but for those who have a good understanding of how it works. You don't need an expert tutorial to know that good crypto traders are still making a huge profit from market speculations despite the downward trend in value that bitcoin and various altcoins have witnessed in recent days. CoinmarketCap data today, as shown below, reveals that out of 100 top coins 98 are on green. I think this is reassuring that it is not over yet with the crypto. How far do you think this Green will go?.

source: coinmarketcap.com 2018-11-26-08_14_50

Yes, it may seem from the outside that it is very simple and profitable to trade, but I am sure that this is far from being so. At least I definitely don't have any talent for that.

So much money being made for some skilled traders while so much more is being lost by less skilled ones lol. Some people just have an unbelievable knack on how to make successful trades.
1389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen with ethereum. on: January 01, 2019, 01:53:22 PM
I think bad times for    Ethereum and its holders are over. in the future we are waiting for steady growth. I would also like that after him and the alts began to grow and not fall as it is now

What do you mean it's holders are over? I don't think so. Not by a long shot. Eth is suffering in this bear market but it will not stay this way forever. That i am confident about.
1390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The buttom for this year on: January 01, 2019, 01:51:16 PM
Do you think crypto has hit it's very buttom for this year.... the market want red yesterday.. but I'm thinking it won't go lower than this..

Please whats your take on this??
I think the price of cryptocurrency has reached the lowest point in 2018, and now it should be a rising trend.
The lowest point from how year?
Please see the bitcoin price data from year to year?
But if only see it in 2018, you are right this is the lowest point.
Well it's already 2019 so there's a chance that there'll be  new atl for this year lol. Just kidding. Hopefully it doesn't go lower than the 3.5k area since shorters would lose it if it does.
1391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to 100% invest into 1 alt coin, which would it be? on: January 01, 2019, 01:48:29 PM
I want to choose litecoin in addition to being mined, can also be used as currency and transacted for goods and services. Currently it has a high market capitalization
Known for its alternative to Bitcoin, because it is most similar to Bitcoin.

Well the fact that it's most similar to bitcoin may be a disadvantage though since bitcoin  will always have the top spot for a long time. Investing 100 percent is a gamble and though i'm not much of a gambler anymore, i'd take my shot with tron 😋
1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am just Dumping all my altcoins! on: January 01, 2019, 01:25:46 PM
It was a very good idea if you did on december 2017.

Right now i don't know it is good or bad, the time will tell us for sure.
Maybe he is right, no one can be confident in the future. Many projects are dying and many have already died, there is no guarantee that his investments will not turn into zero.
Many projects that are already dead are those that didn't have a decent direction in the first place. Though many alts are still active and i personally wouldn't let go of the good ones that havr a chance or history of recovery.
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why do you participant in Airdrops? on: January 01, 2019, 01:22:10 PM
A few months ago I followed Airdrop but did not get results. even though it was a normal thing but still it disappointed me.
So now I'm not interested in Airdrop unless Airdrop comes from a trustworthy project.

Well though it may be most of the time just bogus tokens from non legitimate projects, there are some legit airdrops as well. And you only have to spend a little time to get these tokens anyways so i don't mind.
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What choices will you take now ? on: January 01, 2019, 01:18:01 PM
I have so many new altcoins that taken from bounty campaigns and airdrop campaigns, majority of my altcoins has very low value, and i just decided to keep this in my wallet hoping that it could give me more profit in the future.

Well keeping it in your wallet for a long time may end up with your coin losing it's value altogether. I'd prefer to sell token once they become available with whatever value they have. Most of them aren't worth much anyways.
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is Developing a Cryptocurrency on: January 01, 2019, 01:14:10 PM
As per recent article on Bloomberg , facebook is developing a cryptocurrency that will allow users to transfer money through their whatsapp messaging app and they are first focusing on market in India. They are developing a stable coin-a type of digital currency pegged to the U.S. dollar as bitcoin have high volatile nature.

This is a good thing that big names are moving into crypto world now.

For detailed study go though this article
Stable coins are good if market is falling and there is an option how to protect your funds in high volatile cryptocurrencies.
But as soon as bull market comes, people will start selling these stable coins and they will again buy true cryptocurrencies.

Well anything that takes crypto towards mainstream adoption is always good especially with a company as big as facebook. It'll be good in general even if there's no assurance about it yet.
1396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Year’s miracle in this bearish winter? on: January 01, 2019, 01:11:16 PM
I am even more pessimistic. The cryptocurrency market will fall another 15 days, and then growth will begin. The maximum bitcoin drop will be - 2, 000 dollars
I also do not rule out the development of such events in the market but as we all know when most people are waiting for such an outcome of events this does not happen and what we can expect can be just a guess. Let's hope that the market is already beginning to pick up speed but otherwise we will buy bitcoin below.

Well it's the start of the year and there aren't any miracles just yet lol. And i agree dude. The market usually goes against most people's expectations. So i guess let's all expect an extended bear season  so the market will go the other way lol.
1397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!! on: December 30, 2018, 02:54:54 PM
I also think that there is no point in comparing ether and Bitcoin. it is better to keep and ETH  and BTC, but what kind of ratio, here everyone decides for himself

What would be the comparison for anyways. They've different uses and people know already where to put their money at. These two are good for long term investments so they really shouldn't be pitted with each other.
1398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It is right to come back? on: December 30, 2018, 02:51:12 PM
this is a market stabilization phase, everyone is busy turning their capital because they fear that the bearish will happen again so they sell their coins while the price is good and the effect is that the market returns red but when this phase is passed the market will be green right

I think that relying on new factors can help the market recover, and believe that 2019 will see the expansion of electronic payment. In addition, the launch of products of ICO projects is also a motivation for electronic money to become more and more popular.

Well let's see. I don't think ico launches will have that much appeal since bogus projects tainted the general image of new projects. There may be more time for us to consider buying since i also don't think we'll have any major runs anytime soon.
1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have learnt my lessons on: December 30, 2018, 02:48:16 PM
Well if this your first time in crypto and first time also to receive some bounty rewards and you see in the market that the price of the token you have was enough maybe you can sell it early but they have time you cannot hesitate to sell it because of your excited and need some money.

I think bounty rewards are meant to be sold early if you're a bounty hunter. Not all tokens you get from bounties will be placed in an exchange and if ever they do, price pumps and then drops back to ico price. So don't hesitate if you have the chance.
1400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy not top 100 alts? on: December 30, 2018, 02:45:48 PM
Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!

Occasionally, yes - but only those where I have researched the project very thoroughly. It can be a big risk to go for smaller coins, so you have to know as much as you can before you buy in.

Well i also buy unknown coins to me but only for a little amount. Just to see where that coin will take me and to tell you the truth, more than half the time i buy these unknown coins, i make profit from them. I don't want to risk putting big amounts though.
