141  Economy / Reputation / Re: SebastianJu accepts transaction buying/selling bitcointalk accounts on: July 24, 2018, 06:27:41 PM
The buyers and sellers of the accounts are the issues. Keeping people safe as an escrow isn't something to be punished for, regardless of what they are escrowing.

Ignoring all of the above, I generally do not like telling other people what kind of transactions they can and cannot take part of, when all parties to the transaction are fully understanding of the consequences of the transaction. Attempts to regulate these kinds of transactions is nothing more than a power grab.
What a silly thing to say.
142  Economy / Reputation / Re: OgNasty tagging me after I called him out on his trust abuse! on: July 18, 2018, 10:32:47 PM
As can probably be guessed, I'm not the biggest fan of Og. However, even I can say that this is drivel.
Cases with escrow can be questionable for anyone, however certainly don't imply malicious intent. Trying to act like a DT member leaving positive trust for someone who has supported a business of theirs for a long time is a bad thing or misuse is flat out stupid.
143  Other / Archival / Re: Abuse of DT power by actmyname! on: July 08, 2018, 12:59:59 AM
..so perhaps you need to take a deep breath, fold your tinfoil hat neatly, and try again when you have something of some substance.
B-b-but the gambling sites a-a-and the competitors? It's obvious that this entire thing is to just wipe poor ol Betcoin and poor ol cjmoles off the map. What a bunch of evil scam artists.

My main point is that if Youtube could be found liable for it's content moderation algorithm, then the trust moderators of bitcointalk might also be considered culpable for knowingly allowing it's algorithm to be exploited by these organized groups of trust abusers
Then pursue legal action against the forum, you fucking melt. Trying to use 'but this legal case' here won't help in any way; we're not in a court of law and I hope to god Bitcointalk never turns into such.

147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [OPINION] If I buy an item from User A and it gets lost in the mail... on: May 27, 2018, 09:05:11 PM
Usually, you would tend to split the cost of the items between you since you both directly lost out.
Since it's not directly your fault, then you don't have a direct obligation to do so. Although, it is probably what a decent person would do.
148  Other / Meta / Re: Get Donator status by donating 10 BTC on: May 27, 2018, 05:43:49 PM
The questions are not repetitive and definitely are not silly.
Of course not:
...With 294 BTC already sitting there and with each Bitcoin costing around $9000, I think donations will be very limited.
With Bitcoin price so high there is no need for anyone to donate now. For those that do, they are paying so much
Donations are not really needed now.
...Keep your BTC with you, no need to "donate" to anyone.
In todays day and age nobody will donate 10 bitcoins at $12,000 each and in return receive donor status for a total of $120,000.
I think getting donor status is not on anyones mind any more. Just not worth it and nothing to gain.
Nothing like the old, fresh 'No one will donate anymore'. It's totally useful and unique after saying it 6 times. Not repetitive or silly whatsoever.

You may find it hard to believe but your assumptions about my hard ons (also known as erections) are wrong, they function perfectly well and have no correlation to this thread
You misunderstood what I was trying to say, and proved my exact point previously in your post. I'd suggest that you get at least a semblance of English slang or in-formalities before trying to act like a smart arse. It just makes you look like even more of an idiot.
149  Other / Meta / Re: Get Donator status by donating 10 BTC on: May 27, 2018, 05:25:41 PM
It would be good to know how much in donations the ads are generating after all we are all part of the community.
Each round of ad sales are public and can be found in the Auctions section. Look through those threads if you're interested.

I have no idea why you've such a hard on about donations to the forum. You've been asking the same silly questions and making silly assertments in this thread for months.

152  Other / Meta / Re: Minor cosmetic change in total logged time. on: May 20, 2018, 01:22:53 AM
If the array was (,1 hours,1 minutes) would that still get picked up by your code or do you have to look at the individual indexes in more detail? (I haven't used php very much).
Here are the arrays:
[1 days, 1 hours, 1 minutes]
[1 day, 1 hour, 1 minute]
Any instance of the something in the first array is replaced with the item in the second array of the same index. It does this for every instance.

I guess no, it should be done through localization or translation files if necessary.
I may be incorrect, but I believe this forum only supports English. Since this is the case, and the forum only supports one theme, the code would only have to be replaced in one place.
That, and due to the way that SMF works trying to change this through localization files would be massively complicating things when only one language is available.
153  Other / Meta / Re: Minor cosmetic change in total logged time. on: May 19, 2018, 04:11:26 PM
I will say that it's fairly pointless, although here's some adapted code to fix this anyway:

/Themes/default/index.template.php line 256:
Code:
// Show the total time logged in?
if (!empty($context['user']['total_time_logged_in']))
{
echo '
', $txt['totalTimeLogged1'];

$timeString = '';

// If days is just zero, don't bother to show it.
if ($context['user']['total_time_logged_in']['days'] > 0)
$timeString .= $context['user']['total_time_logged_in']['days'] . $txt['totalTimeLogged2'];

// Same with hours - only show it if it's above zero.
if ($context['user']['total_time_logged_in']['hours'] > 0)
$timeString .= $context['user']['total_time_logged_in']['hours'] . $txt['totalTimeLogged3'];

// But, let's always show minutes - Time wasted here: 0 minutes ;).
$timeString .= $context['user']['total_time_logged_in']['minutes'], $txt['totalTimeLogged4'], '<br />';

echo str_replace(array('1 days', '1 hours', '1 minutes'), array('1 day', '1 hour', '1 minute'), $timeString);
}

156  Economy / Reputation / Re: Regarding my Negative Trust. on: April 04, 2018, 11:32:38 PM
I witnessed the entire thing
This is incorrect for a start. The majority of the drama happened in a channel named #personaldisputes, which is a channel you flat out refused to join several times - even when kicking up an enormous amount of dust when people asked legitimate questions about NastyFans.
However, this isn't the place for he-said-she-said, so I will digress from that.

You referred to me as a scammer and NastyFans as a Ponzi many times, spreading lies that are still being spread by you today.
Please quote me saying either of those things; I don't recall doing so.
Implication doesn't count, as it is subjective.

Keeping it 100% real, we both know that what started this was me in that slack chat saying that I put up a lot of NastyFans seats for sale and if someone bought them, I would use the funds to buy a solar array.
I began to dislike you after the debacle I referred to in the first paragraph, and significantly more after you abused Lutpin for something you have yet to this day prove.

Then Zeroxal came forward and claimed he purchased the seats, which set me going solar in motion. This set off a wave of jealousy that I have never witnessed in my life and still deal with from certain individuals today.
I don't believe this is the case, and in fact I remember it going that Zeroxal started getting big for his britches and started trying to demonstrate superiority over others. This annoyed people, hence them looking into him.
However, none of this is provable as the chat logs are long gone and the majority of the forum likely did not ever know that this existed.

You as well as the others in the extortion allegation badgered Zeroxal with wacky claims for hours
I'll admit to being a part of this, and it is something that I do regret. However:
eventually one of you resorted to calling his mother on the phone to harass his family.
This has absolutely nothing to do with me. I have respect for people's personal lives off the forum, and know that the two things are completely separate.

When Zeroxal showed that he had a lot of funds and tried to explain how he got them, it then turned into an extortion scheme of how you could all get your hands on his BTC.
'all', not including me. As I, Lauda and shorena have all either stated or concluded, I was not involved.

You can say what you want now, but your statements are nothing more than lies
Incorrect.

NastyFans is not unprofitable.
Anyone wishing to verify this claim can either go to this page or this post to see my reasoning. There is little point in rehashing the same thing over and over again.

NastyFans has no costs, so what you're saying is actually impossible.
How much is a NastyFans seat?

I don't believe you are stupid enough to think that Apple as a company is unprofitable because the dividend is less than 100% annually.
Apple's stock is on the up. Apple doesn't have to measure statistics in another currency to make that happen.

Please explain this unprofitable comment, as this is a perfect example of why I don't trust you, your judgement, or your opinion.
If you buy a NastyFans seat, you will never get the BTC value of that seat back unless you sell it again very quickly.

It's clear that we're not getting anywhere, and we're very unlikely to get anywhere at any point. I also don't care to discuss NastyFans for days on end in this thread.
I have a number of regrets in terms of this forum, most of which stem from trying to discern the good from the bad and inform the community while doing so. I no longer have much of an interest in this, nor in this forum as a whole.

Apologies, and thanks for the years.
157  Economy / Reputation / Re: Regarding my Negative Trust. on: April 04, 2018, 09:14:01 PM
Really, I don't need any further justification than this so I will update that for you.
It's a shame that you think that way, considering the evidence against my involvement (and pitiful 'evidence' indicating it). However, I can't say I didn't see it coming.

Did you have advance notice that Lauda was going to send zeroxal an extortion demand?
No. Let me give you a brief rundown of the entire shambles around Zeroxal, including my involvement - although it feels as though it will fall on deaf ears.

  • Users began to be suspicious of Zeroxal, and started asking him questions in a Slack chat. I believe you were a member of this Slack at the time, so you may remember this vaguely.
  • It came out that Zeroxal was ban evading. This is the part I was interested in, as frankly I could not care less about whatever 'tax evasion' he was pulling, however cared significantly about the forum. This is a mistake that I won't make again.
  • After talking about it with Zeroxal in the Slack chat (hence the origin of this screenshot) I made the original thread and went to sleep shortly after.
  • When I woke up, I was talking to Lauda and they told me that they had sent - notice the inflection - Zeroxal an extortion message. After this all of the threads were made, which is irrelevant to me.
  • Later that day (IIRC), TMAN requested that I remove my posts on my thread to try and make less drama while he and Zeroxal talked. This message was also seen by (or relayed to) Lutpin, hence why his post is also removed. I made it completely clear that my intention was to repost the thread soon.
  • A few days later, I reposted my thread. It reached the conclusion I was looking for (a yes or no answer by a member of staff) and so I closed it.

At no point was I notified of the extortion plan, other than when that plan had been set into motion. I have never had any part in any extortion plot, and I am very unhappy to receive punishment for Quickseller's personal dislike towards me.

Is NastyFans a Ponzi scheme?
Most likely not, and I don't think that I have made the implication that it is. My main gripe with NastyFans is that it is unprofitable, and that you hand pick and skew certain statistics in an attempt to hide this.

Do I run NastyFans?
Since I have nothing to go off but your own word, I will have to say no. However, I don't think it is very unfair to say that you are extremely involved in the running of it.

Am I nonnakip?
I have no proof for or against this, and so I will act the same way I do in near to every other scenario and say no.

Did I self escrow a bet?
From my understanding, no.

Is every coin I make considered a NastyFans coin?
My point has always been that the hologram of the coins have the NastyFans logo on it and is used on NastyFans coins, and so it is easy to assume that it is a NastyFans hologram. I think I made this clear in this joke.
Whether you want to classify it as such is up to you, if you really want to insist that it is not a NastyFans hologram then you can do. I'll refrain from making the joke that I haven't made in months.

Am I affiliated with Quickseller?
This very much depends on what you class as affiliation.
You seem to publicly trust his character, support his message and take 'evidence' he puts out as fact. He seems to reciprocate this. Whether you consider this affiliation is a personal matter.

Do you think I would trust you with any BTC as a result of your behavior towards me?
You're asking questions that I could not possibly know the answer to; I am not you.
Case in point, if push came to shove, I would trust both you and Quickseller to hold my BTC (for example, in an escrow arrangement) - even while not particularly trusting your characters.

Appreciated, thanks for commenting.
158  Economy / Reputation / Re: Regarding my Negative Trust. on: April 03, 2018, 11:03:08 PM
but I wouldn’t expect anything less than you using this thread to try and make me seem like the big bad bully who is picking on you, which is absolutely false.
I listed exactly what I saw happening prior to you giving me a negative trust, and commented on the trust rating its self. Whatever implication you seem to think I am trying to slide in is in your own head.

If you’d like me to dig up more examples, I can.
I would appreciate if you could update your rating to show all examples, so that I can give my perspective on each. Feel free to do it on this account.
Thanks.
159  Economy / Reputation / Re: Regarding my Negative Trust. on: April 03, 2018, 10:46:07 PM
Please try to keep posts on topic.

I think there is also the issue of your part in a conspiracy to (attempt to) extort another user.
Aside from being irrelevant to the reason for the negative rating, I was unrelated to that and there is no proof showing otherwise.

Do you think that 'Lies about me' is an adequate reason to leave a negative rating, Quickseller?

snip
Could I ask for your opinion on the matter in the OP?
160  Economy / Reputation / Regarding my Negative Trust. on: April 03, 2018, 09:35:53 PM
As the subject may suggest, this thread is regarding the negative trust left on my account(s) by OgNasty. This thread isn't necessarily about having the trust removed, more an attempt to gain community consensus as to whether this rating is adequate.

To begin, I'm going to give a brief breakdown of my interpretation of the events which led up to this:

Since the majority of people have been publicly silent on this matter, I'd be interested in hearing what notable members of the forum think of it.
I would also like to publicly encourage people to use their main aliases to comment on this; unknown alt accounts make both sides look unnecessarily bad.

Closing, I would like to specify that I have no interest in creating any toxicity on this matter. I will attempt to refrain from personal attacks, and I would request that everyone else do so too. I won't be making this thread Self Moderated - so that cries of censorship won't come into play - so I am relying on you all to keep the thread clean and on topic. Please don't disappoint.
The thread will be concluded once I feel a satisfactory conclusion has been met.
