1401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if she receives Bitcoin as gift on: April 10, 2022, 01:01:43 PM
- Send them affordable Bitcoin on their birthday.

Give them bitcoin as a gift, but not on birthdays and valentines days and Christmas and stuff. A gift(especially for these special days I've mentioned) are mostly something to make them happy; not an opportunity for you to shove down your interests to them regardless if you have good intentions.
That's true, gifts received on those special days were more precious and special for them. As you've said that a gift should make them happy on their special day. In my view special gifts will be kept safe without spending or giving to others. So, when bitcoin is being gifted automatically it gets hold through which one can feel the best in the long term and feels much happy in the long run.
1402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 30% tax on crypto income in INDIA on: April 10, 2022, 09:53:44 AM
~
Several countries are already losing crypto-millionaires because of the crazy taxes, and some smart countries are welcoming this new wealthy generation that is going to invest and spend money in their countries.
When you have dumb politicians who are making these rule set, people will move out to safer zones where the taxes are really low or tax free heavens. A few of my friends in the cryptocurrency space moved to Saint Kitts and Nevis where there is no income tax and some of them moved to UAE. If not for the high taxes, would have stayed back but now they force everyone with substantial amount to move out of the country. I would not mind paying 10% to 15%, but 30% is too much of money for the hard work and risk we take.
This is the reality of India who hold a good volume of cryptocurrencies. India too have a plan of having its own CBDC which too is a reason for the heavy taxation on cryptocurrency. In an interview the RBI deputy governor talked about the country's CBDC.

Commenting on different CBDC models, Deputy Governor pointed out that there are many “uncertainties in terms of which model works, which design works well in terms of its impact on the banking system, on data privacy, on monetary policy.” He opined:
Quote
I think almost all central banks and we are no exception will probably go in for a very careful and calibrated, nuanced manner. The Indian government is currently working on a framework for cryptocurrency. Finance ministry officials are reportedly consulting with international organizations on the matter, including the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank.India's Digital Currency to Take 'Very Calibrated, Graduated' Approach, Says RBI Deputy Governor
1403  Economy / Economics / Re: Will sanctions force Russia to create a CBDC of its own? on: April 09, 2022, 11:46:57 PM
Recovery of the economy won't happen all of the sudden through the backing of ruble by CBDC. Recently ruble saw good bounce from the price it fell during the rumours on ban of Russian Oil and gas into US. The economy of Russia is completely dependent on natural oil and gas industry. Already USA have stopped importing natural oil and gas from Russia. End of the year European nations were to stop it's import. But this isn't gonna happen, and if it happens then surely Russia will experience a big economic blow of atleast 20% In my view the economic recovery should happen out of the oil industry and Putin have alternate plans than just increasing the interest rates which will help sustain the economy for short term.
1404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 09, 2022, 10:30:38 PM

I think Chennai super kings have to let go Ms Dhoni and probably need to change their captain  Ravindra Jadeja. They need to bring in new players. Also, Mumbai Indians have also lost all three matches and they may also need to think on bringing some changes.
Both CSK and MI have disappointed in this season.
Letting go of MS Dhoni or changing the captain will not make any changes for the team, the basic problem they are having is that, they are not having any good bowlers and i am surprised in that aspect and not with picking a new captain or including old players in the team. They need a good solid spinner and a good fast bowler who has the ability to pick wickets when the team needs them and until they resolve them, they will struggle.
For now this isn't gonna happen. When it comes to CSK, with the previous seasons there is no big bowlers and they manage to make wickets and win matches. During the previous seasons, if the batting isn't good in a match then the bowlers will do the best and makes it a winning match. This time when batting is good, there is lack of performance from bowlers. Upcoming two matches will decide whether Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will have a chance.
1405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My biggest crypto regret on: April 09, 2022, 10:07:01 PM
There are times when we have to keep looking forward, don't keep fantasizing about the past because time will go on, you won't be able to turn back time and change it back to that time.
everyone has experienced mistakes and our mistakes are not holding the coins we have in the past, so what will be our barrier now? Rather, it is an experience because we have made mistakes at that time, lest the same mistakes be repeated now.
while you can, then now use the opportunity to save assets lest you regret but do nothing
These incidents can also be connected with fate, because some sell it on need whereas majority sell on fearing the market fluctuation. Myself experienced a big loss during the pandemic, but that happened out of gambling. I bought bitcoin to gamble, and lost everything. Same time if I've bought ethereum by that time and kept hold for a week's time I could've made more than $15k profit. As said everything is a learning out of mistakes.
1406  Economy / Economics / Re: US warns India over oil deal with Russia on: April 09, 2022, 09:28:03 PM
I understand that the USA wants to dominate absolutely everything, if an ant happens that they determine they have control over, I think that if India wants to buy from Russia or wherever they are free to do so, isn't it that they preach having all the freedoms? Sometimes a system is not based on just paying attention to what a nation says, but what a country really needs, if you need oil, gas and it is cheap, why not do it? Sometimes this is the kind of thing that many do not understand, the fact that they buy or do not buy from Russia, Putin will continue with the invasion, more so now that they are in need of more oil and gas in Europe.
USA wants to have control over everything and every country that is believed to go high above USA in the future. Though it is a tedious task, few countries have got the ability and one amongst is India. India already have good relation with Russia, so it is continuing its oil and gas trade. Now sanctions are effective and European countries are in need of oil and gas. Why can't USA warn European countries to boycott oil and gas from Russia, but they're warning Russia for accepting payments in Rubles. So, they take different stand based on situation which isn't good for a country like USA.
1407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Ether Prices Capped Upside Ahead, Says JPMorgan on: April 09, 2022, 08:57:41 PM
The market is completely unpredictable which is the truth. Whether it is JP Morgan or someone else, the prediction sometimes coincide and the same can't be connected to his ability on analysing the market. As per my knowledge, being a top authority he have the ability to be an influencer. This means his statements will have some positive/negative disturbance on the market. These impacts will be active for short time period.
1408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 09, 2022, 03:41:42 PM
They need someone to really teach the athletes to learn the benefits of BTC or just give them the option to receive stabecoin instead. Otherwise the athletes will blame crypto.com if the value of the BTC goes down.

They may already know what bitcoin is. Am not sure there is anyone in sports who does not know. This athletes you think are unaware may even be holding bitcoin already if you do not know. I often see bill boards and posters of bitcoin adverts in sports centres and stadiums. Am in support of this as it will help advertise bitcoin and cryptocurrency more.
Such scenario won't happen with the athletes, when common people are aware about bitcoin surely the sportsmen will be aware of bitcoin. These days it is quite common to see cryptocurrency ads on different matches. Crypto.com is more popular in sponsoring different events. Already many sports person would've invested in bitcoin and now this will ease them to hodl.

Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

The match of Chennai vs Hyderabad has just started. Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bowl. Both teams are in very bad shape this season. Both teams have yet to win a match. Chennai has lost all three of their matches, while Hyderabad has lost two. Chennai's batting has started. If they want to win, they have to give at least 180 or more targets. Because this pitch of Dr. DY Patil Stadium is quite helpful for batting. My guess is that Chennai will win today's match for the first time.
Chennai lost their first wicket by just 25 runs. Each team relies on top-order players for large collections. At the end of 4 overs, Chennai collected 32 runs and lost 1 wicket. Moeen Ali is a very experienced player in the T20 format. So today I will expect a good performance from Moeen Ali. Chennai's bowling lineup is not strong. And so even if they can collect 180 runs, they are not sure whether they will be able to win.
Chennai managed to collect 6 runs in 10 overs. Rayudu and Moeen Ali are now in the crease. These two batsmen are very experienced. If they can lengthen their innings, Chennai may be able to collect more than 170 runs easily. Because the Chennai squad has destructive batsmen like Dhoni, Jadeja, Bravo, and Dube. So if Moeen Ali and Rayudu's partnership goes up to 15 overs, then I think Chennai will be able to deliver a big target.

Today I also guessed that today they will be able to give 180/190 run target. But Chennai's batting was quite slow from the start of the match. They lost two wickets very fast. Now at the end of 15 overs they have collected only 108 runs and lost 4 wickets. They need to score at least 60 runs in the last 5 overs if they want to fight to win the match. Jadeja, Dhoni and Bravo must play well today.
Once after the match against Punjab Kings, Jadeja mentioned they will give a come back. I believed this will happen in today's match. Nothing improved and once again they weren't able to make a good target. It was an easy win for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Throughout the entire history of IPL, this seems to be the worst for Chennai to experience a continuous 4 match loss. Another thing it has lost the chance of reaching playoff.

Although since he's got a private life, it's hard for me to believe he'll give he's real age, but anyways.
Beautiful Birthday Wishes Satoshi (Legend)
May the rest of your life be the best of your life.
For the Creation of Bitcoin!
Arigatō.

The date 5th April according to the Related post show's two great happenings on the same date.
On 5th April 1993 US President Franklin D Roosevelt signed two executive orders to;
6101 to Establish the Civilian Conservation Corps,
6102 Forbidding the Hoarding of Gold Coin, Gold Bullion and Gold Certificate's.

Another vitals about that year 1975 was the legalization of Gold Ownership in the United States for mere Mortals.

Who knows right? Maybe he is around 60 or 70, most of the scientific researchers who have so many contributions are like old people and had white weird hair. Another possibility is that he is honest on giving information about himself, simplicity makes it better. Or the legend is true about being Satoshi Nakamoto a group of people who is behind Bitcoin's birth. There are so many questions to be answered and only the true Satoshi can give us those, so we wait for him or her or them, if he is still alive of course.
Everything associated with Satoshi is a mystery. Only we can just celebrate his innovation, as there is no precise information about him/her/group. However with the available information we are in a situation to give him the proper respect and wish him. There were more discussion on the birthday, anyhow if it's April 5 or some other day I wish him/her/group an year added to the age.
1412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Madeira and Prospera adopting bitcoin as legal tender on: April 07, 2022, 06:22:08 PM
With small countries it is an easy thing to adopt bitcoin. It is true that small droplets make an Ocean. Here small countries adopting bitcoin as legal tender will make big change when large nations step into adoption of bitcoin as legal tender. Euro being the official currency used in Madeira there will be political pressure in the coming days. Madeira is recorded as one of the poorest region of Europe. In contrary to the same it is the second richest region of Portugal.
1413  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria Economy before and Now after cryptocurrency Ban. on: April 06, 2022, 11:54:40 PM
their government should have evaluated their crypto situation first before moving to this action. they have people who are trying to earn a living via crypto, and if they will remove it, where will they get their money to buy food from. because earning few bucks from crypto matters to these people. and now, their government is hindering them to at least achieve a decent life. just hoping that they will re-consider their position very soon.
Every government will have clear visibility of the country's situation. Taking the same into account it needs to make changes to the system. There is a huge number of people who depend on cryptocurrency for their living and this will affect the people. Apart from this the government ranks on the top order in corruption. Making a solution for the same could boost its economy than making bans over the cryptocurrency usage by the common people.
1414  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: April 06, 2022, 11:37:50 PM
The biggest advantage that Russia has is that it has natural resources that almost no other country has. I firmly believe that with Russia's current condition, they will be able to withstand international economic sanctions for several months and even years into the future. Western countries should be able to find other ways to stop the war other than by imposing sanctions on Russia.
They're able to withstand with it.

No matter how bad the sanctions are, they've probably anticipated this and has a lot of options to make with their allies and countries that would still like to trade with them.

It's actually not a loss for them, they may experience a bad economy these days but it won't be staying there forever and they'll gradually recover. The same as the normal markets that we know related to crypto.
With the available resources Russia have got the ability to overcome any sanctions. Just with the oil Russia have made the plan and demanded to pay in Rubles, if not just shut down and move. Western nations might've never thought of such a demand. In the long term the economy will recover, and with this war more other forms of trade have begun and this will affect the USD in the long term.
1415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 04, 2022, 11:59:18 PM

I don’t think that it’s fair to assume things like these as there’s zero evidence that can prove black money is involved during IPL games. Furthermore all IPL player’s, officials are under constant scrutiny and if anyone was involved then they would have been exposed by now, therefore till credible evidence pops up I feel that we should not spread rumours about IPL unless they can be proved.

You are right we can't say about match fixing until its proven. There is no one who speaks against IPL not even the icc since everyone gets his fair share. The ROI will be low if you rely only on legitimate sources like sponsorship, TV rights etc. Big parties need big return on there investment and this comes only with some fixing.
I want to bet on Pk and Aussie match, I think Pakistan will win the match today and I also believe that match is a fix.
I don't know why Pakistani give their best at the end why we have to wait till last over to see when the team Pakistan is going to come back.

What made you think that the last ODI between Pakistan and Australia was fixed? Do you have any proof? I see other people also writing that IPL matches are fixed too.
What has happened to you, the cricket community here?  You people do not have any proof and are self claiming that matches are being fixed.
Strange isn't?
When the user gets unpredicted results they term it as fixed matches. It isn't happening now, this is common in all games. In specific with cricket we can see it quite often, because even a single player can change the game anytime. With Australia Pakistan match there is no reason to state it a fixed match. In the second ODI Pakistan gave the best. In the third ODI Pakistan lost a single wicket and that might be the reason for stating it a fixed match. In my understanding Pakistan took the home ground advantage to mark the win.
1416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would crypto fare without centralized exchanges? on: April 04, 2022, 11:26:26 PM
Of course, there is no 100% guarantee that this will not happen, but I am sure that if major countries block exchanges and cryptocurrency, following the example of China, these exchanges will simply open under new jurisdictions and continue to operate. It is impossible that absolutely the whole world is against cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrencies are a business and it is bound to benefit someone in this world. The crypto industry is mobile. Remember how miners simply changed their location after the ban, the same will happen to exchanges. Yes, the market will be shaken by such bans, but after exchanges reopen in other places, the market will start to recover, just like the hash rate recovered after the Chinese ban. It is impossible to ban cryptocurrency completely.

If governments unanimously rely on a "One World Currency", then it's probable they will ban crypto altogether. But it's very unlikely we'll ever see such a unified currency, since countries can't reach a common agreement. As long as this is the case, it will be impossible to ban crypto for good. Even if they did, crypto will still survive thanks to its decentralized and censorship-resistant design. Centralized exchanges only constitute a small portion of the crypto ecosystem, as the rest is dominated by miners, stakers, and even decentralized exchanges themselves.

What matters here is decentralization. With it, crypto will be able to stand the test of time regardless of a government crackdown or ban. Who knows if crypto lives alongside Fiat for generations? Just my opinion Smiley

It is unlikely that the world would use anything uniform, there have always been discrepancies. I don't remember a time when the whole world used any particular standard or measure of measurement. Likewise with the attitude towards cryptocurrencies. Someone will not support the majority in any outcome. We will never see a single cryptocurrency solution and we will never see a single cryptocurrency for everyone.
Yes, to reach on a common currency for the entire world won't happen. This is all because of the difference in the economies and countries won't destuct their own sovereignty. With cryptocurrency too the same is happening, the gold standard is the only thing that is being commonly followed by the countries. Maybe something similar to gold standard out of bitcoin might interest governments, but the volatility won't let it happen.

Lucknow Super Giant vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

I chose the Lucknow Super Giants team today. Because in the previous match against Chennai, they had a great performance. Batting on the target of 211 runs, they got an easy victory. But today de Kock, Lewis, and Pandey could not play well. At the end of 16 overs, Locknow's collection was 120 runs. Rahul and Ayush are at the crease. If they can collect 50 runs in 4 overs then maybe they can win the match. It will be difficult for Lucknow to win if the target is less than 160.
Lucknow had to collect 169 runs. Doesn't look like a very bad collection, Lucknow has a chance to win if the bowlers can perform well.
Hyderabad lost the first match by 61 runs against Rajasthan. So they need to win today's match. However, to win the match, the top order players have to play well. The wicket cannot be lost before the end of the power play.

Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 91 runs in 12 overs and lost 3 wickets. Now they need to win is 79 runs from 48 balls. Rahul Tripathi is now at the crease, who is unbeaten on 41 off 27 balls. Since they still need to collect about 10 runs to win every over each. So the chances of winning are still equal for both the teams. Let's enjoy the match.
seems interesting - who won the match Sunrise Hyderabad or the other team? My local TV does not broadcast IPL how are the matches going on and how much excitement it has brought in IND about the IPL? Who do you think will win the tournament?
The match was won by Lucknow Super Giants. This season we've been seeing different range of performance from teams that aren't expected to top the table. On the other side the leading teams Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad were fighting to make their very first win. More matches to be played, and there is chances of comeback.
1418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free Gambling Course provided by OnlineGambling on: April 04, 2022, 10:21:43 PM
An initiative that isn't necessary, because gambling is for fun. When it is associated with the learning, it becomes a profession. Giving a visual content to make gamblers know how to play is different from giving a course on a specific game. Some might find it a needed one, but in my view it is unwanted.

Does the course assure of a win and profit out of the game once after the completion of the course. No, it won't. If it assure of wins, then it is fair to have such courses.
1419  Economy / Economics / Re: When Will This War End? on: April 04, 2022, 09:11:34 PM
if a diplomatic agreement has not been reached, one of the two countries must give in, so that the war is over. but it's not easy for that. Like Putin, of course, he doesn't want to finish the war before he gets his wish. especially Ukraine, which mathematically lost, but persisted in defending its ideology. Until now there has been no news that states the bright spot of this war, is it waiting for one of them to go bankrupt, until the war ends?
The both countries are economically challenged right now. Although I do think that it is worse for Russia, because they have been sanctioned by some countries especially the US, and also their soldiers have also been losing as of recent to the Ukraine soldiers.

The recent news that I saw is that the Russian air attack are finding it difficult to penetrate Ukraine due to strong air defense, and that the Russian military have lost up to 18,000 of their soldiers. The painful part of this is that innocent people are losing their lives due to this war. So both countries should do anything possible to make sure that they bring peace. If they still continue with the war, lots of properties would be destroyed and innocent lives lost for no good reason.
Ukraine that wasn't that agressive with its decision have begun to strike back. So, this war is not gonna end in the short. Russia is the one that needs to take celebration. Already a big number of users have reached other countries surrounding as refugees. People haven't done anything wrong, so the sufferer must be the officials. Here the common man, women and children.
1420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: April 04, 2022, 05:41:52 PM
I am an uncle to 3 amazing boys ages 5, 8 and 13. They’re  all pretty well informed on crypto currencies and the blockchain. In my opinion, I think it’s easier to explain to children about crypto than fiat because the Trezor as a concept is quite visual for children to grasp.
I mean trying to explain the insanity of the federal reserve is probably harder to teach them. I’m very impressed with those boys, they’re so smart and already understand so much about finance.
A thirteen year old kid will be on the eighth grade in my country. An eighth grade student will be learning about the basics of math and science. Learning finance is not a simple thing, maybe visual learning will interest students towards it.

As per my understanding at this age they can be introduced to cryptocurrency, but very few get the real knowledge about it. At this age most of the kids will be much interested into gaming, so we can direct them towards play to earn games. This will surely interest them to earn and through that one can be made to understand what is bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
