1401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: January 06, 2023, 10:21:58 AM
If you know that you are trading and losing your money, it is better to think about this twice or three time or more before making the wrong decision that you will later blame yourself for. We are in accumulation period, try and hold and accumulate.
Indeed. Well, it's understandable that many of us still prefer to trade for short term gain regardless of the profit. However, not everyone is successful to profit at this time that the market is not moving upward consistently and no major changes has been made due to the recent issues that happened (FTX and Luna). So I agree that it's better to just hold if you know trading is not good anymore for you to earn. This season is really ideal to fill our bags and hold long as long as you can.

Anyway, we have different decision when it comes to this because we know better what strategies could work for us to be a gainer.
1402  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: January 05, 2023, 07:23:34 AM
How can we persuade the poor that without making investments and taking risks, they would not succeed in life? If they are looking for a financial breakthrough, they need become involved with anything because good things in life don't just fall into their laps. Life is about taking chances and seizing any opportunity that presents itself.
You have a point. Just like the saying "no pain, no gain", one needs to take risk in order to gain something. However, how can a poor people invest if their income is just enough for a living? The number 1 rule is only invest what you can afford to lose, but if you're poor, obviously you can't do that since every penny matter. But if there's a will, definitely there's a way, therefore if you're poor but determine to become financially stable then you'll do something to change the way you used to by working hard and never be contented to live as poor.
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Dev is not your friend, so be careful. on: January 05, 2023, 05:05:40 AM
Good thing you only lost a small amount but yes it's still money that we should value since nowadays it's hard to earn it.

This is the reason why it is important to dig deeper before investing especially in new projects. Because it's quite risky to invest your money in new projects without even knowing their background to know if it has potential and unlikely to be scam. It can be prevented if you didn't blindly invest even someone recommended it to you. Having our own knowledge about the project is still best to understand the project and to gain idea of what to expect as time goes by.

Maganda magpunta sa ganyan kung libre.  Tongue

Tongue
Same thoughts. Hehe
1405  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those who survived previous winter, please share some courage! on: January 04, 2023, 08:00:52 AM
Those who've seen previous bear markets, survived several winters, please share some hope and courage.
This is not the end, right? Smiley
Keep holding because it's not end. Bear season is a chance for investors to buy however many of us are afraid to engage ourselves because of the fear of losing our money. It will only happen if you buy the wrong coins, but if you choose Bitcoin and established alts then the possibility to gain is high. Tracking the past history can also help for you to understand how the market plunged then recover. It might take years but eventually the time will come for the market to turn bullish. If you don't sell at cheap price and keep holding then you won't lose anything, the value is declining but your holdings remain the same in numbers. Hence, keep in mind that bear market is only temporary, and those who have strong hands will profit, in time.
1406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 04, 2023, 05:14:39 AM
Free alcoholic drinks, ease of withdrawal machines and ease of which to fund betting/gambling site wallets are serious contributory factors to addictive gambling.
Well, these are indeed a good strategies to keep the gamblers playing for long. However if you are playing in moderation, these strategies won't work because you know your limit. So despite of the technique of the casino for the convenience of their gamblers, you won't fall on these tricks since it doesn't change your mindset to gamble with discipline.

What other factors do you know contribute to form addictive gambling?
Lack of control, using the money that can't afford to lose and the thought of winning huge if you gamble are just a few reasons why many gamblers are becoming addicted.
1407  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 04, 2023, 01:41:46 AM
And there are casinos that refuse to pay and look for all possible reasons
In your case it's not that huge for them to refuse to pay. But based on your conversation with the support, they're certain that you have multiple accounts that are already banned and they confirmed it with the selfie you've given. If you break the rules then it's just right for them to act that way. Anyhow, just wait for their response on your thread for clarification.
1408  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: January 03, 2023, 09:07:47 AM
My guess is the price will climb up to $25k so I voted to $20k-$30k as it's realistic to happen this year because that value is not hard to achieve if there's a good news that can affect the crypto as a whole.

Moreover we are near to the next halving, that means those investors who are thinking this event will influence the market to be bullish might fill their bags before it happen. Hence, this year can be somehow good for Bitcoin though it's just a speculation since we don't know what lies ahead. Thus take advantage this bear season while the prices of coins are cheap. It's an opportunity that many investors can't see.
1409  Economy / Gambling / Re: A way to attract new users or a misunderstanding? on: January 03, 2023, 01:57:33 AM
Casino owners still have the right to ask for KYC because regulators also supervise them, so they also need to supervise their users. We may think that web 3.0 doesn't require KYC but we also can't do anything about it if the casinos keep asking us to do KYC.

And if you don't want to do KYC, you can look for other casinos that don't implement KYC. Maybe it's a misunderstanding of people in interpreting web 3.0 or is it to attract more users and say that their casino is a decentralized casino or is it just a new trend in the gambling business.
If they're promoting their casino platforms as a web 3.0, Then why they will ask to KYC? Where Web 3.0 means decentralized crypto casino platform, definitely it’s seems just a promotion to attract new users, they've no right if they're really Web 3.0, It’s not a solution to look another casino with no KYC.
As many here already pointed out, clearly it's just a front to lure the gamblers who are looking for casinos without asking for kyc. If the casinos are claiming to be web 3.0 but operating as centralized then they're not honest, and just using this trick to get the attention of gamblers who value their privacy. Hence, stay away to this kind of site and look for casinos that don't require their players to comply on kyc if you're not a whale and just an average gambler. Many casinos now are regulated thus it's now common however you can still find casinos who doesn't require it.
1410  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: January 03, 2023, 01:02:02 AM
Stake.com has been the leading casino with the highest amount of withdrawal, many of stake players have withdrawn up to $100,0000 and above. So duelbit big withdrawal without issues is another confirmation that we have good and reputable casinos as and this is what makes the difference between big casinos and smaller ones.
I never heard DuelBits has frozen big withdrawals, they still have manual confirmation unlike instant withdrawals on Stake but never faced any issue last year on both platforms. Why did you compare both platforms? There are some big players on DuelBits as well, during last Christmas raffle draw one guy had over 10k tickets,IIRC.

Having big withdrawals without any issue gives credit to the casino and with how I understand the post above you, he's also positive
about how Duelbits handle the customer withdrawal.

Same with you, with the manual withdrawal and without client complain aside from those which only the site and the affected gamblers
who can insist with their reasons, Duelbits perform well and nothing to ask but to continue good services.

Another year means another working business and good a relationship with the clients will always bring positive effect to the business.
Duelbits is indeed one of the reputable and competitive casino nowadays. Thus, it's not surprising if huge withdrawals are processed without problem because they're among of those casinos that we can trust. They never disappoint us with their promotions and rewards offered to their gamblers just like their recent Christmas raffle which gave their gamblers a generous prizes. So this year let's look forward for their new offers for us to continue playing on their site.
1411  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 02, 2023, 07:53:46 AM
I have never understood gambling on mobile phone, because it is such a small screen.
Optimization! Gambling sites optimize their sites in mobiles in such a manner that you won't really feel inconvenienced by the small size. It's way easier to start gambling on mobiles when compared to gambling on laptops or desktops.
It really doesn't matter how much you optimize because I have big hands and phone screens are quite small, which means no matter how amazingly you optimize it, and how responsive you think it is, the screen size of a phone itself is not big enough to justify me playing there. iPads are a bit better, they are bigger in size at least and I can understand that but I never used it, well I used it before at my friends and all, but never owned one because I never needed it so far.

However, if we are talking about PC? Well that is just perfect, huge screen, total control, everything on screen. It's just unfair comparison and my choice is clear in this regard.
That's why we have different preference when playing and in your case you're more comfortable in desktop. Well, I don't usually play in desktop because i'm often at work, so mobile is suited me the most especially when at home I like the idea that I can gamble while lying in bed. Rollbit has a user friendly mobile version the reason why it's not a problem for me to play even in small screen.
1412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 02, 2023, 06:20:56 AM
I rarely bet on lottery and this only happen everytime I have numbers in mind that i'd like to bet on. But I know many people (including my relatives) who are betting in national lottery regularly because of the life changing jackpot prize. Well, I don't think it's a waste of time because even your chance is one in a million, still, it's a chance and who knows right? Moreover the amount of ticket is cheap so it's not a pain even you're doing it regularly. It might be a waste of time and money for others but for some of us it's a hope and I don't see any problem with that as long as they can still live well even they're spending a portion of their money to buy tickets
1413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My First Bitcoin on the New Year Day 2023. on: January 02, 2023, 04:16:05 AM
Congrats for owning Bitcoin. It's a wise decision that you invest the money you received last Christmas into something that will make you gain, in time. The timing is also good since the price of Bitcoin is quite cheaper than before. So continue what you already started and be firm in holding, I assume you already have knowledge about Bitcoin investment and the risk right? Because the usual mistakes of newbies are not knowing the investment they're entering in, hence if something unexpected happened they tend to panic and commit a mistake that they will also regret later. Anyway, goodluck on your journey so let's wait for the next bullrun.
1414  Local / Pamilihan / Re: coins.ph incoming transaction rejected. on: January 02, 2023, 03:55:47 AM
Di ba sabi ng nila, do banking without a bank, that's crypto, para di na mangyayari yan kasi hindi tayo pwedeng maging independent, need to be regulated na.
1415  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 01, 2023, 08:36:26 AM
Probably because of the OP inactive here, many starts to talk more about KYC instead of the promotions and bonuses with Roobet and I think its fine as long as we remain on that topic. If Roobet will start not to collect KYC better to delete all the data to be fair but I think its too impossible to happen since they are just following the regulation and Roobet is not forcing anyone here to gamble with their site.
It is enough about KYC.

Do people discuss about KYC on Binance months after the application? They accepted it and submit documents to continue using Binnace exchange.
Please do the same with Roobet site. If you love it, trust the team, want to play their games, do KYC and continue with your bet, enjoy your fun and happiness with Roobet games.
I agree. This was tackled for a long time now and I think gamblers who chose to stay playing on Roobet despite of the mandatory level 1 kyc already accepted this requirement since the site is reputable and trusted by many gamblers here. Eversince the kyc is implemented on Roobet, I decided to comply because I want to keep playing in this site and that's it, no question. Up to now I don't have any issue playing on this site, all is smooth.

It's simple, if you're not comfortable playing in a platform with kyc, you can look for other casino who doesn't require it.
1416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Two Gambling Stories on: January 01, 2023, 07:38:34 AM
Story 2
An apprentice who won 16 million naira on BET was asked by his boss to split the money into two parts. This 50 - 50. As the story goes, people sided with his boss, and he had no choice but to comply. It's important to remember that the money used to bet belongs to the apprentice, not the boss.

*Read the different opinions of people here

I'm just wondering about this story number 2, why the boss dares to tell the apprentice to share 50/50 of what he won in gambling when it has nothing to do with what he is studying here?

Why is the apprentice's boss the one who gives him all his fees or expenses every day of his life? is this his relative? does he owe his boss? because if there is none, it means that the apprentice's boss has no right to share what he won.
The teacher could not control his greed because of the high amount of betting reward. He himself had made sure that his apprentice would agree to pay him half of that amount of money. One hand his moral degradation and on the other he exerted pressure on the apprentices. He has completely neglected his responsibilities on this issue. So the apprentice should leave the place quickly. He will not get proper education from that teacher or advisor.
because sometimes people who are apprentices in a business company, people who are apprentices are too close to their bosses like their own brothers. there are many cases of apprentices in companies who are very close to their superiors when there is anything they help each other.
So, from that case, most likely as I said, the boss dared to ask for a 50/50 share of the winnings of the gamble. Even though the boss can't be like that, like being impolite and having no morals but if the two of them are close then the boss doesn't even think about morals.
very sad to see cases like this happen to apprentices.
In reality, it's possible to build closeness between apprentice and the boss. However it doesn't mean the boss earned a right to demand a share for his apprentice's winning just because they're close. In this story, people sided with the boss, isn't it strange? Probably if this situation happened to us, we will not share (or atleast hesitate) our winnings to our boss since we won it alone and if worse happened the boss won't shoulder your losses right? Thus it's unfair.

Happy New Year everyone!

Just wanted to give you a heads up that the Free Sidebets have now got an expiry date!
To those who have sidebets, use it now before it expires. I was not able to use mine because I can't access the slot game to play it due to restriction. Anyway, Happy new year too.

I’m satisfied playing just using my phone, it works great and didn’t experience any problem with Rollbit using my phone.
Same here. I prefer using my mobile when I gamble because it's convenenient. But when I play slots, i'm using my desktop for wider screen.
1418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: January 01, 2023, 02:59:39 AM
I don't see what's the point of having an interest in joining promotions if they don't have the expectation that will really end up doing several deposits.
True. Expect this to happen if you're determine to get the bonus rewards. Because for sure it won't be easy to achieve if you only have small funds, unless you're lucky to win and able to meet the requirements without doing a several deposits.

Setting limits is fine but might not be followed properly if aiming for getting the rewards on bonuses or promotions.
Hence if you're not confident that you can do the asked wagered amount within your set limits when you gamble, then better to refrain yourself.
1419  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 01, 2023, 01:41:45 AM
Regarding to 1xbit support only info department answers me and the answer is that security already answered me and they can't do anything because it is a different department. The only email I got from security is stating that my account was being closed. They didn't mention anything about my funds. It is simple scam.
Unfortunately you're late to realized it's a scam platform. Thus don't hope they will activate your account again to get your money back, so just move on from this bad experience.

That's why it's important for gamblers (especially to newbies who are looking for a casino/sportsbetting site) to do their diligent research to be certain that you're playing on a trusted platform and not scam with plenty of bad reviews.
1420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: January 01, 2023, 01:04:28 AM
Well, if a certain gambler loses a lot of money in a single day, I believe it is interesting for you to stop and bet the next day, do not try to recover the money you lost, as this will possibly make you lose control and lose more money, and it is at these times that a person can fall into despair and literally lose everything he has.

Self-exclusion is really not a necessary thing to do except with the purpose of stopping gambling completely.

It's totally fine to keep gambling and if having a bad day, as you said, just take a break and come back next time.

Not that simple to do but being a responsible gambler really depends on us. We are the ones responsible for where will we end up, either good or bad gamblers.
I agree. It's fine to keep playing as long as you're doing it in moderation. That means you are able to control yourself and not breaking that limit when you gamble.

As you've said, a responsible gambler depends on us on what kind of player we are and how you're dealing with losses because many gamblers are getting wrecked because of the latter. Hence, if you can't play in moderation then it would be better to not try gambling to avoid further problems that you'll regret when the situation is getting out of hand.
