1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Popular projects and none popular projects on: October 09, 2022, 06:18:33 AM
But there is another factor apart from popular projects for security when investing, namely the platform. Because a good platform is a platform that already has permission from the authorities. So this will add security when we make investments. So be careful when you invest in a coin that is on a new platform. Because the risk of loss is something that you will bear alone
Permission from the regulators are not always become the key to make your money safe. Remember that you can't know easily which platforms that have been fully cooperated with regulators. Some of platforms that called by people as trusted platforms have become scam platforms.
The main thing is popular has lesser risk compared with the unpopular project. There are so many scam tokens in the market. These tokens were starting from anonymous developers.
I would guess that working with a place like Coinbase for example would make sure that you are dealing with something that could be working with regulators because they are as legit as it gets, so any project that gets listed on Coinbase needs to go through a bunch of legal battles before it could be listed there, if you list a scam project there, then Coinbase would have to respond to SEC and that’s not going to go so well for them.

It means, there are "some" platforms that you can trust, and won't turn into a scam, I am not saying it won't fail, projects could fail at any moment, but there is a difference between failing and scamming people.
1422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 08, 2022, 06:36:45 PM
The results of the concerns that I said yesterday were proven true that Lyon still cannot guarantee a victory, the final result of the match between Lyon v Toulouse is 1-1. Not only that, even Lyon's stats are leading and even when Toulouse scored in the second half Lyon were still putting pressure on Toulouse but Lyon still conceded even though they controlled the game. Well, with results like this, it is clear that the results on paper will not always guarantee a definite win.
Indeed, superiority on paper cannot be a guarantee that the team will win. What guarantees they will win is how they play on the field. And one more thing when their game is good but not effective then it will also not give them victory. One thing to remember, sometimes luck is also a factor in their victory.
Lyon doesn't even have that much superiority on paper neither. I mean sure they look like the better team, but not by "that" much, it looks like they are just a bit better as a roster. I know that Lyon is above in standings, but looking at now, Lyon is 7th and Toulouse is 11th, the difference is literally just 2 points so I do not think that there is a big difference between the two teams.

I know that it is going to be tough game for most lower level teams, but Lyon is not really that much of a difficult game anymore for many teams and I do not think that Toulouse was afraid of them neither, it felt like equal teams fighting each other during the whole game, so draw made sense.
1423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you think blockchain gaming technology will have evolved by 2030? on: October 08, 2022, 12:30:01 PM
do you believe that blockchain gaming will gain more traction?
Yes the need blockchain for secure gaming platforms , Blockchain technology has exploded in recent years due to the necessity for a new system to replace the traditional paper money system the blockchain has several uses including gaming why? because blockchain technology will transform game creation management and play combining cryptocurrency with video games can make gameplay more pleasurable secure and smooth Cryptocurrency gaming is new this ensures players can play new games in the future gaming never disappoints customers the internet helped the gaming business progress but it couldn't unscrupulous people out Blockchain based gaming protects video games and sets a long term industry norm therefore bitcoins and video games could alter the gaming industry.
The payment part is the part where I am not entirely sure if it will be profitable that much for the builders. I mean there is a crowdsourcing type of deal at the end of the situation, but the same way that we approach this, there is also another situation where it's going to hurt people if they are not making enough money on the games they make.

If only the gamers make money and the creators do not get "enough", then they could simply do mobile games and make money that way instead? That’s why it’s a scary thing, and we shouldn't be really focusing on anything regarding the gaming part, but more on the profit for the owner’s part, at the end of the day, they will want profits.
1424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest a promising project at an early stage? on: October 07, 2022, 08:53:53 AM
Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who react to crypto like it’s some sort of get rich quick scheme and they invest accordingly. I am not saying that it would be a bad idea if that is what makes you happy, obviously go for it if you really want to invest that way.

But, it is also clear that the best way to invest would be making sure that you are investing long term to trustworthy stuff and not brand new stuff. I am definitely sure that we are going to end up with something much better, and that is going to be a bit of a trouble before we see the clear skies, just invest into known top end coins instead of newbie projects and you can make a great return.
Yeah, there will always be noobs trying to find the "gems" in the rough and sometimes they are good, they could be right and they could go up a lot in the long run. But sometimes they are not good and that is going to be a tough thing in the long run.

It means that we are going to end up with something that will not be helpful all that much, and it is going to end up with something that will be a bit of rough going if they do not realize they picked something wrong and that is why it is a lot better if you could just open your eyes wide and see anything that could be wrong for the coin you are in love with, that way you would be making less mistakes.

2. 61% of employees are willing to accept a lower salary or a promotion to focus on better work-life balance
If they are promoted then I think the work force is also going to increase but in return of it is that their salary will also increase dramatically. Maybe there are some companies whose system works the opposite way like they gave a better life for those who are higher in positions.

The decision of the workers there are great. They choose a well-organized life over the money while I think there are still some who will prefer money and will accept whatever the consequences are like they will work even the working hours are long and if the scope of the job is tough. Even if many people resigns, there will always be replacements. So no worries.
It's a bit of a double edge sword. If you earn more money and end up with less time then you will not have a good work life balance, but if you earn less then you are not going to have a decent life neither because your life would be filled with debt. I do not live in the USA so I can't really know the salary situation there, but where I live we do not make much money.

I do not do anything major, and even with that in mind I still do not earn enough at all, and I am earning more than most people I know. So if I am not living as a rich person, that means I am living a decent life and by working really hard, and I am happy about it, but I can't afford to just earn less for more time.
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 05, 2022, 06:39:02 PM
Liverpool was not in the best performance. That means arsenal has more chance to win against liverpool rather than loosing with it. Liverpool has been winning again rangers with 2-0. This may make make liverpool to make a comeback against arsenal. Arsenal must play with all of its performance to be able to beat liverpool. In my opinion learned from last match of arsenal and i do believe arsenal has consider how performance from the liverpool. Liverpool was at the ninth position compared with arsenal that is still consistent and it's still at the top position till now.
I trust arsenal for this match rather than liverpool. The different thing when mane was still playing for liverpool.
Arsenal has been good but they are overrated if you ask me, they started well but that’s about it, I am not expecting them to keep doing well until the end of the season. We have the opposite on the other side, Liverpool has done badly so far and I am not expecting them to keep doing badly for the longest time neither, and that is what we are going to see in this game.

Arsenal will lose and Liverpool will win and that may start a snowball effect where it’s going to be something that will result with arsenal going closer to 4th or 5th in 5-6 weeks, and Liverpool being closer to second place. That’s just a guess though, maybe I am way off, and they will keep their positions.

I see Opera is no longer complaining about Freebitco safety. Did you manage to contact blacklist provider and clarify the problem? Or the entry somehow expired? Anyway, that's a good news.

F1 GP in Japan is coming, I see Perez gained some fans after last Sunday's win and not has 3rd place (odds 11.03). I think I will bet on Ferrari again, but not before the first training.
I never really had a trouble with Opera keeping me out. It just gave a warning but that’s about it, I could just click on continue and reach here, without any trouble at all. It was a temporary thing at best, and it was just done by some haters and everyone who knows this website is aware of it. This is why I never cared about it Cheesy.

On the other topic, Max already had some trouble this race, he wouldn't want to have any more trouble next race, I am sure that he will win, and if he wins with fastest lap as well, he will be crowned champion no matter who finishes where.
1428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the safest bet for 3X to 5X return? on: October 04, 2022, 05:43:42 PM
There’s no such thing as especially if you are expecting an average return of x4 which even an financial company won’t promise to there customer. The safest investment was Bitcoin but there’s no guarantee that you will get x4 return if you invest since the ATH is around x3+ Using the current price same with ETH.

Only Solana can give you x4 return if the price goes back to ATH but this is very risky since SOL has a lot of room for lower price.
Yeah true, safest is a word that you can't use in the crypto world, people are expecting way too much money for this to work but in reality we are not going to have it at all, it is going to be something that would not be profitable at all if you end up investing into what you consider safest at all times and not realize the risk.

I would say "safest" in theory is bitcoin because it has been at the top for so many years, but we have seen how that dropped as well, so be ready for a drop at any time with even the safest of the options. If I had that kind of money, I would buy bitcoin with most of it, and then you can spread it around the rest.
1429  Economy / Speculation / Re: October price guess on: October 04, 2022, 03:25:10 PM
Just follow the 4-year chart of Bitcoin, it appears that we will see a big movement this month of October. Every year this month has seen an uptrend in bitcoin price. The month has just started and soon we will be able to see that positive sign for Bitcoin. Hopefully Bitcoin will be able to reach above $25000 this month.
If you are talking about having to follow Bitcoin's 4 year chart for pumps then now is not the time to get pumps because October is October for 2025 and not this year.
Because if you calculate 4 years after the pump occurred or after the dump occurred, it is clear that the time is 2025, not 2022 as it is now. Even if there is a price increase later this month, I think it will only be small and temporary and will not create new ATH in Bitcoin.
I wouldn't expect it to take that long, and I always disagreed on the 4 year cycle bs, I believe it's 3 years, look at the past and you will see that it took 3 years to start going up again each time. Meaning it should be 2023, why? Because it was 2017, and in 2020 we went up, not peaked but went up, and 3 years from 2020 is 2023, and we are very verge of getting there now.

So in the next 12 months, I can see it either breaking the ATH again, or it will be a good high price all over again. That is my speculation though, doesn't matter to me, it could be 2025 all I care and that means I would be able to accumulate more bitcoin until it goes up again.
1430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market? on: October 04, 2022, 11:46:20 AM
If by "new people" you mean new investors then yes, bear markets would generally be more helpful since if we consider how Bitcoin has behaved in the long term, then times like these would be the perfect moments for them to enter the market and start hodling. If the bull market though, then I would suggest to only invest a part, or not at all since you might just get swept by the hype (which is what happens most of the time to newbie investors).
That is something that "should" happen during bear times but unfortunately doesn't happen. It's a sad affair but when bitcoin price ends up being so low, people should be buying as much of it as possible and that would make it a lot more profitable for everyone and it would give a good return, but unfortunately people do not invest based on this, they get scared and get away from it during this period and that's a sad thing but a reality at the same time as well.

This causes the bear market to prolong itself and postpone the coming of bull run too. That is why it's a sad period, but eventually it will become something good one day.
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: October 03, 2022, 08:08:03 PM
I agree with your guess if Ajax and Napoli will score many goals, Barcelona will win against Inter Milan. But I don't agree with Juventus will win against Maccabi Haifa, both of this clubs are losing on their both matches, so it's a risky bet IMO. The reason why Juventus is huge favorite is because the popularity, Maccabi Haifa club are not known for many people, but if you looking on their performance, they have decent performance just like Juventus.

I think Benfica vs PSG are worth to bet Benfica to win here, their performance are good and the match will happen on Benfica's home, but Benfica is the underdog here.
You have really interesting choices.

I mean that I see no way for Juventus losing even two points against Maccabi Haifa in this game. They have finally made an improvement in their performance by their win in a league game. This must be pushing them to play even stronger against Maccabi Haifa. There is already a huge strength difference between these teams. Juventus should even be able to collect six points against them in both matches to maintain their chance to qualify from their group.

When it comes to Benfica - PSG game, I don't think Benfica can win this. They are playing decently indeed. But this is one of the most difficult matchups they can have in the Champions League. They are playing against one of the favourites of the title. Maybe PSG are the away team but I still think that they can defeat Benfica here. They would like to strengthen their lead in the group to finish the job earlier in the group stage.
I agree, Juventus will most likely win, I mean they have as much chance to lose as Real lost to Sheriff last year and won the UCL last season, anything could happen, there is "that" much chance of unexpected result of course, but I believe that Juventus is clearly the better team and smarter to bet on them.

I do agree however that Barcelona will beat Inter, that is not an easy game, and Inter will be fighting very hard to win but at the end of the day Barcelona built a team that is better and they should be getting a win out of that game. We will have to wait and see, it is not an easy decision and it is going to have a lot of trouble coming from behind it later on.
1432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I don't buy Polkadot now on: October 03, 2022, 09:22:23 AM
People are not entirely sure if it is the golden chance to buy it right now, it would be a bit weird if you felt so comfortable about it and tell people about how comfortable you are by investing right now. Obviously, altcoins are a bit riskier than bitcoin, which means that they could end up being not so high and that would be understandable as well.

I personally would suggest you to buy it as soon as you can, because you really believe in it, but if others do not then I would understand it as well. It is not an easy decision to invest into anything, doesn't matter what it is, and people grow with the idea that there isn't free money anywhere, so it is hard to accept the fact that it is a good looking project.
That's something people would have to deal with regarding DOT itself though. I mean I have 100% trust that bitcoin, ethereum and bnb will go up, that's something I trust very much, so much so that I am putting all my money in there at all times (whatever I can afford to save aside) and that means we shouldn't be shocked with some people adding DOT to that, some people add something else, we all have coins that we trust so much, and he could be trusting DOT as much as I trust bitcoin. There are also people who do not trust even bitcoin that much and sell with panic, that's something that happens all the time, so it's different types of people.
1433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 03, 2022, 04:59:22 AM
Broja is only 21 years old and is a promising football player. Chelsea should be able to add him to the team over time, I think. If they win Broja, they don't need a forward transfer. He has aged in Aubameyang and his performance will gradually decline. If there is a young and dynamic striker behind him, Chelsea will be most happy.
Broja is still young in the team and have a lengthy year to play football since he's tender. I think he's the backup striker for Pierre Aubameyang and the only thing left for him is to get familiar with playing big games and have have confidence on the pitch. That's where Graham Potter comes in, he needs to build Broja and get him to score goals for himself, all this will contributes to making him a genius in the team. I believe he will do an incredible striker for the blues if he's presented to open chances.
I feel like 21 years old is good enough to take the regions if you are good enough, and if you are not good enough at that age, then it is not going to be simple for you later on neither. Remember all the greats, when they were 21 years old, were they back up players for player at Aubameyang level?

I mean if it was 10 years ago, being the back up player of Aubameyang wouldn't be a problem, but he is not who he used to be, which means being his backup is not a good level to be. At 21 years old Broja needs to assert his dominance and show that he is the main striker for Chelsea, or he is just not good enough for them at all 2-3 years later neither. Just look at players like Mbappe or Haaland, and what they were doing at 21 years old, you would see the difference and understand why he is not enough at all.
1434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 02, 2022, 08:41:22 PM
Glad to see that as my prediction if roma would be winning in this match. Inter didn't consistent when it was playing on seria. The result from this match will give a huge pressure for inter caused by inter will be facing another big club like barcelona in the champion league. Im sure that inter will have bad performance like that in the champion league. Im sure that intermilan will be facing another lose again.
Taking lukaku from chelsea didn't change the performance from the team. Inter was still facing another lose.
Roma played very well, but I don't think it was better than Inter. And another disappointing moment was the canceled goal by Dzeko. If it wasn't for VAR, we don't know how this match would have ended. I have no doubts that Barcelona will beat Inter in the next Champions League match. Of all the statistics of face-to-face meetings between these clubs, Inter have won only twice - in 2010 and 1970.
Roma is going on that gradual level to being at the top of the table discussions thanks to Mourinho. He took over Roma because he knew that he would not be question as much there as he would be in other bigger name clubs. Thanks to this, he got transfers that would benefit his style, and with the first years trophy, they let him do whatever he wants and get whoever he wants within budget.

I know it sounds weird, like if it's within budget why would there be a problem? But owners and managers always get in fights who to get even if both options are within budget, here it is just Mourinho. Glad to see it's working and they did play good enough to beat after all.
1435  Economy / Economics / Re: Savings during inflation on: October 02, 2022, 06:21:42 AM
The thing you bought for 1000 ends up being 1100 next year after 10% inflation, which means you saved money but the question is will you be able to convince yourself that you wouldn't make more than that if you kept it? If you were going to spend on something else, or just keep it hidden in your house then it is better to buy that equipment, but if you want to buy bitcoin and hope that you could profit then you could turn your 1000 into 1500 dollars and spend that 1100 instead of 1000, and still have 400 left. That's the question people's minds.

Recently I purchased a PC and in my nation PC taxes are 100%, so I probably bought it by paying more than any of you, but it was a good deal because I am 100% sure that the price would go up a lot more than what I paid for it in a few months let alone a year.
There is a fine line between these two things. If you end up spending it, then you would be spending it at a moment when you know it will go up in price later on so it is easier to buy right now. But when you are investing into things knowing full on well enough that you are going to end up not using it, or not really have a place in your life, then it is better to save it.

So, you need to ask yourself this question very very well, will you be wanting it months, even a year down the line? If you do, then it is better to buy now and even make a debt, because you will buy it for more expensive price later on, so you should at least pay less right now, but if not then saving it is better.
1436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well! Bitcoin doesn't have this problem on: October 02, 2022, 04:03:11 AM
If we want to withdraw our deposit or money from the bank, certain banks may not be all banks because they also have administration and methods that are too complicated. Before we may receive our own money, we must go through a number of stages. They are quite simple in the procedure, in sharp contrast to when we desire to keep our money in the bank. In actuality, there are many other reasons why Bitcoin is superior to banks. However, it's also likely that only a small number of institutions provide such a feature. In general, I find that some commercial banks offer a simpler way to go about things than do government banks. But in Oklahoma or other places, things can be different.
I know this for sure, I decided to switch to a digital bank just because of this, because they do not care where you are sending your money. Obviously there is a 100k limit, but I have never had that much money in my life before so it shouldn't be a problem, aside from that I could move money around anyway I want without a problem.

Bitcoin came into my life before that, and I was having trouble with my bank and that is why I moved to bitcoin at first, because it gave me the freedom and it still gives me the same freedom internationally that no bank could give, there is nothing in the world similar to crypto when it comes to moving money around the world.
1437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's faceless identity is the greatest Bitcoin success strategy on: October 01, 2022, 07:48:33 PM
At least, Satoshi lived a low-profile life. He didn't want to attract publicity, after all (unlike Craig Wright). Bitcoin's creator planned things thoroughly to help protect the cryptocurrency's censorship-resistance at all costs. If he would've disclosed his identity from the start, Bitcoin wouldn't have been born today. Now it's too late to do anything about it, as Bitcoin has grown too big to fail. Governments are going to need to embrace the revolution or be left behind in the dust.

Cryptocurrencies with publicly-known founders/creators (eg: Ethereum) are in serious trouble as governments could prosecute them at will. Most projects reveal the team's identities to help attract VCs, but they're ultimately defecting to the regulators. Effectively, regulations would prevent crypto from achieving its full potential as censorship-resistant money anyone can use worldwide. It's a dark future ahead for altcoins, due to their decision to sacrifice decentralization/censorship-resistance in favor of cost-efficiency and high performance. With or without Satoshi, I think Bitcoin will last for generations thanks to the way it was designed. Just my thoughts Grin
That was the only way that it could actually survive. Remember when they found that old Japanese guy or something and assumed he would be the satoshi they were looking for and in the end it turned out that he wasn't at all but what he lived through even though he wasn't satoshi.

Now imagine if it was really him, dude would have been going from court to court rest of his life defending bitcoin and that would cripple bitcoin at all times. I am glad that he isn't known and we have no idea who he is, that is a lot better. I personally prefer it this way because this means we all own bitcoin, not just in the sense that we buy it, but more like we "own" it all together.
1438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 01, 2022, 06:36:50 PM
It is no longer as easy as we thought. For Union Berlin to have 2 goals against them in the first half is a clear sign that today is not for them. Frankfurt has tactically outsmarted them. Also Frankfurt is good in defending, so they cannot conceive more than 2 goals in the second half.
Now Berlin has to have their first taste of defeat.
It was obvious that Frankfurt was the better team, people get fixated on the recent results and they end up with a bit of a problem on their minds at all times, I do not know why they are so stuck with the mindset of this situation because let’s be real we are talking about something that is not going to work out for the people who bet on union berlin just because of recent results.

You look at the general situation, let’s look at Bayern, they had a bad recent few games, do you end up betting against them because of that? Of course not, then why would you want to wager against Frankfurt? Or why bet for Union Berlin? Same mindset for sure.
1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment projects ? on: October 01, 2022, 03:32:10 PM
Your investing goals determine the solution Investing in bitcoin could be a good alternative if you have one to two decades to spare Long term cryptocurrency investment requires a high risk tolerance Bitcoin's value fluctuates wildly They may collapse too Investor interest is expanding quickly with more than 21000 cryptocurrency coins and tokens Picking the correct balance to maximise long term profits is difficult under the best of conditions in a cryptocurrency bear market or crypto winter it's daunting find out which cryptocurrencies are the greatest long term investments this year These are the top five long term cryptocurrencies like BTC , ETH, ADA, DOT, LINK.
I would add BNB to it and remove Link, but that’s about the list I would offer to people as well. I still cannot see any problems with investing purely into bitcoin alone and nothing else, because that wouldn't be a bad decision for the long term neither, it will make people richer.

Obviously if you want to get rich super quickly then you would have to end up investing into something that is a bit more profitable, but at the end of the day there isn't anything that could be done quickly to get rich most of the time and it would be a big risk. Just bitcoin alone has no risk in my eye, if you ask me, it is as close to being guaranteed profit as it gets.
1440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be Palestine's currency of freedom?? on: September 30, 2022, 06:49:18 PM
I don't think we need to compare it to El Salvador and other countries that have embrace bitcoin and crypto as a whole. It really depends on how the country is going to used it, and if they it can be their currency of freedom then so be it. And it will really take years before some nation will adopt it as legal tender or alternative to their local currencies, and so it will be a big challenge and there are going to be obstacles along the way for Palestine, not be easy and so only in the future that we will know if they adapt this idea of bitcoin being 'currency of freedom' or not.
I agree, El Salvador is a nation that is having some financial difficulties but they do not have 50%+ of the population being kids because all the bigger ones are dead. I am not going to go into details of Israel and Palestine war, that’s something politicians do and not something we can discuss here and solve, that’s impossible.

But, it is easy to at least say that people in Palestine do not live an easy life, and while they are missing water or food to survive, it would be childish to assume that they could use a mobile phone in order to deal with bitcoin, it wouldn't be possible at all. So, it’s easier to assume they can't really use it for freedom.
