Well i guess people have moved on to a better and more advanced alternatives in the likes of uniswap, 1inch, etherdelta was a pain to begin with, it was the reason i never liked dex, because back then the interface was to shabby for me, nobody uses them again so what do you expect! and it doesn't seem as if the devs wants to keep the place running, it looks deserted.

Musk was involved with paypal, and has access to a lot of high tech and high tech advisors.
Why then was he so late to support BTC?
Who knows, perhaps he felt it wasn't the right time for him or he was probably waiting to see how long btc can survive the hit coming from the government and non government organizations, or again he was triggered by the bold step of PayPal, i bet that PayPal moves awaken something in many of the giant companies and rich individuals out there, they were surprise to see a company like PayPal who has publicly condemned btc has suddenly switch over, that must kept them wondering, and being a business man Elon saw an opportunity that he didn't see years back and he decided to make a move. |

I will always go for investing and let it grow, i have a friend who was very eager to do day trading thinking that is the only way he can make good profit, now he finds out from the hard way that investing is way more better (especially when you are not that knowledgeable with chart reading) after losing some few $$ he has decided to invest and hold  - experience is always the best teacher. There is a huge possibility btc price will go even high, (thanks to the likes of Elon jumping in the train and probably many more like him will come in) better to invest and watch it grow overtime than to give yourself unnecessary stress as a result of trading. |

I expect a bnb correction soon. The coin is growing very quickly and this hype will end soon i'll buy bnb again for 40 bucks and below.
About a month will be enough for the price to adjust...
If it where to be another coin i would say major correction will happen soon, but this is bnb you are talking about, the heart of cz  i doubt there will be any significant correction, bnb was at $72 yesterday night when i checked it, this morning i was shocked at the price i saw, this coin has really pumped hard this few days so even if there will be correction certainly not down to $40, that train already left the station, ask those who where waiting to buy btc at $20k  |

Are you sad to see the current market situation? YES to ME  1. Seeing insane eth gas costs, Unable to trade small amounts of tokens due to expensive shipping costs. 2. Seeing the increase in the price of BTC reaching the new ATH, I can't do much because I don't have any BTC investments or other coin investments whose prices have gone up. Oh my GOD .. my life is very sad. I hope BTC and ETH prices drop dramatically, amen You are very funny, you had the opportunity to buy btc or any of those altcoins pumping but you didn't perhaps as a result of lack of funds or just wasn't sure if they will rise in price, and now you are feeling sad, there is no need for that it won't help your situation, all you can do is buy what you can afford because i believe the alts seasons is just getting started. |

I believe these type of "billboard wars" going around is not really that smart, it is not going to affect or change anything, look at subreddit wallstreetbets and how they did bunch of billboards all over the nation for GME stock and look at what the price became, it was 360+ dollars, even 400+ dollars for a short while, and now it is 63 dollars after the "craze" started. As you can see even though everyone keeps saying they are "holding" they are not holding, if they actually held their stocks the price wouldn't have dropped this much.
This is why I do not care about some billboard dogecoin has, it doesn't change anything, price is still too high so that's fine, but the moment it starts to crash and people start to get out, some billboard will not be the reason why it doesn't crash, there won't be new people seeing that billboard and buying millions of dollars worth of dogecoin.
Obviously the majority have dump their GME holdings reason where the price drop so drastically, they will keep fooling some naive investors about them holding while behind the scene they are busy selling their GME stock, It is hard to say if same thing will happen to dogecoin, but the shilling from the top affluence people is huge and making some people to think they could be missing out on something big in near future, some of my friends already talking so much about dogecoin and the huge opportunity of making big profit, am still not convince about it, am just taking my time, i don't want to get caught in the middle. |

Privacy coin are important to those who are more concerned about their privacy, some people don't care about it, to me they are necessary to have to prevent the authorities from keeping track of our financial status, already as a result of technological advancement people are very expose, nothing is private anymore, the internet has made sure of that, if your social life is not private then at least make your financial life private, away from the prying eyes of the government.

The last time i participated in ico was in 2017, i join different ico then, some where profitable and some i loss money, i stop participating in ico ever since i realize that most project will dump below ico price once listed on exchange which gives more opportunity for those who did not join the ico to by even lower, i rather wait and see what will happen once the project has successfully list on exchange, although i know not all project follow this pattern but majority does.
Buying after listing works well for me, i take my time to research and read others opinion before making a move, but if a good project comes around that i happens to know about early, i may join the pre-sale or ieo, just a probability.

In this field of business here in cryptocurrency, whether bull run or not, the community should know the word "TIMING" if anyone know how to use this properly, I am pretty much sure that you could earn a nice profit or could become rich in the future as well. So, I think this was just happened to you, though DOT is one of the potentials alts now in the market dude, congrats to you anyway. You have made a point, timing is everything especially in crypto space, sometimes we tend to miss out on opportunities because of bad timing, look for a good project, get in and sell at the right time (even though it is not that easy to know the right time) I think having a target point is the best way to realise your goal, I miss some opportunities am not happy about, although my timing was right to buy but making up my mind was the issue, then it feels too late  |

Currently, ethereum fees are really very expensive. In fact, some projects have delayed coin distribution due to the current very high fees. If I want to find an alternative, I still can't provide an alternative because if I make a transaction using the ERC20 token, it will still use ethereum. however, all we can do is wait for GAS prices to lower.
When exactly can it be expected to go lower! as it is eth price is soaring high every time and if by extension it will also translate to gas fees going high as the price increases then not much about gas fee going down should be expected, (except this won't be the case) high gas fees will definitely affect distribution of bounty funds because i don't see any team paying such outrageous high fees for gas to distribute reward that is not worth the expenses, very though. |

Why do almost 90% of the platforms introduced through this forum have to create their own coins and tokens immediately?
What I've learned about the founders of giant platforms like Paypal, Alibaba, Google, Twitter, Facebook, etc. is that they don't.

This Question is a bit funny because this giant platform you mentioned above didn't start out as a crypto backed platform and even aside that maybe they have no intention to tokenize their business, during the early days of PayPal, Alibaba, Google and the likes i don't think there was anything like blockchain so the platform was created to provide service to those who are interested which totally different now that blockchain is available and upcoming project will rather use it since it provide better service and accuracy in getting the job done, if blockchain was available then who knows maybe one among them would have opted for it. |

Traditional Finance has wielded a lot of power over lives of people for a very long time. This is because Financial institutions decided the flow of money. Who gets the cheap loans? Who gets the backing and credibility and access? Money and Value is really about access and the power to influence. Banks have a hell lot of both.
Bitcoin, blockchain and crypto in general has enabled a lot of people to have a shot at wielding that power. The information barrier is not high and it does not ask for pedigree. You don't have to be a Harvard graduate to have your plans taken seriously. If you have the ability to take an honest idea and make it work using the blockchain technology, you can easily be the next big institution. Just look at all these DeFi projects with people locking funds in their custody.
The question is are we ready for it? Do you have the capacity to engage and build access??
In my opinion there are two factors that made traditional finance so dominant over the last 50 years, knowledge and labour. Both of these two factors were fully controlled by big banks in the past. However, due the Internet and strong computers being available for almost anybody this is not the case anymore. As long as you have access to the Internet you can get the knowledge to do your own banking. We are definitely ready for decentralized finance. Easier said than done i would say, yes the opportunity to become your own bank is more available than before but statistically speaking it is still not the same, not even close, the number of people depending on traditional financial institution to do their bidding is far more greater than those who have the technical know how with decentralize finance, Just because the internet is available don't mean the majority are using it for purposes like the aforementioned, there is a lot to be done before this can beginning to be noticed, at present those who are using decentralize service are very little to be noticed, perhaps in latter years, but not in the immediate future. |

The majority of the cryptocurrencies were actually ERC-20 tokens built on Ethereum platform, despite new competitors coming to take the market away from the dominant blockchain but it has continued to grow far above other altcoins.
A question i keep asking myself and yet to come to convincing a conclusion, despite new competitors in the market that could be considered as good or even better than the eth network, the majority of developers still prefer to use eth network, what is it that draws them to eth network! why is it so difficult to build on other network? is it because of the popularity, speed, cheap, easy to use,.....  |

Will ETH break it to 2k?? and does anyone know what is going on with BCH? it's basically the only coin from the top ten lists that haven't raised and still remember when it always been higher than ETH, but now...  Because of the way BCH usually goes higher than eth in the past and always among the top coins to recover from the dip, I see it as my profit taking coin, it was fun flipping it for quick gains but suddenly things have changed for BCH, probably investors have shifted their attention to eth now, I think since the talk of eth 2.0, the attention on BCH was diverted to eth, you are not the only one wondering what happened. |

Gas fee becomes everyone's nightmare, I use mew app for most of my erc20 transfer and in the app it has 3 transfer option, (economy, regular and fast) so it is either you have eth to meet with any of the 3 option provided otherwise you can not just set the fee lower than what is given, in this case, you don't have much option than to choose either one of the options if the transfer is very necessary.
It is very disheartening the gas fee has skyrocket and I don't know if there will be a solution soon.

My whole family told me to sell bitcoin when it dipped from 41k to 30k (i bought at 10k). I just laughed and HODL’d. If you believe in something don’t allow yourself to get influenced by family or people online.

I've told nobody close to me that I hold bitcoin, just as I don't talk much to them about other investments anyway. I'd rather not have their reactions and opinions rattling around in my head. My advice is just to keep quiet and modest about it, and after all, it's only money, not some great personal achievement. That's a very hard and not so good thing to do imo, maybe some of your family members might be interested if you share the idea with them, keeping things to yourself won't help spread the word about btc, I get it when people try to make decisions for you but you can always ignore and do what you feel is right, I share some of my crypto investment details with my family members, I also introduce some into investing, it is not a bad idea. |
