Has anyone been getting their dividends?

I got all my Bitcoins back in full.

Electrum is a dead simple and lightweight bitcoin wallet with a number of clever features. One of the best is it’s ability to recover your wallet from a secret seed. Your seed is represented as a 12 word long mnemonic code you can use to rapidly restore your wallet, even if your original harddrive or wallet is completely destroyed.

Secret seed makes restoring your wallet easy

Remote client, no need to download the lengthy blockchain

Both ‘simple’ and ‘advanced’ modes

Open source

This is way cool!

1423  Other / Off-topic / Anyone know wineskin really really really well? [Maybe Bounty] on: January 14, 2014, 04:27:25 AM
Ok so I want to use wineskin to play a game which I have the cds to no joke. I thought if I installed directX 8.1 and placed the files from which I got when I installed it on a windows VM it would work, but it doesn't. So did I miss a point or anyone want to do this for me?

I am on a mac OSX 10.9.1
1424  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: If you use blockchain.info as a backend to your website read this. on: January 14, 2014, 01:32:36 AM
I recommend against it.  Having the bitcoind client locally will always be faster, more robust, and more flexible.
We used the blockchain API for early proof of concept testing, but pretty quickly moved to the actual client.  This is *especially* true if you're using walletnotify or blocknotify.

Well that is why I want to talk to some people I have some ideas Wink but I want to get a market price point and some key features first before launching.
1425  Bitcoin / Project Development / If you use blockchain.info as a backend to your website read this. on: January 14, 2014, 12:16:12 AM
I have some questions and if you would be willing to answer these questions pm me with a link to your site.

Thank you
1426  Other / Meta / I am having a problem with url anchors on: January 13, 2014, 04:08:04 PM
This just started happening, is that when a forum page loads, it will not go to the anchored posted on some of the urls. It loads the page but I am at the top, this is very annoying can someone look into it.
1427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ghash.io has voluntary to suspend parts of service! on: January 11, 2014, 10:20:14 PM

First off that is far from a crash. $50 down when the price is ~$940 is small. Now how can you tell that the volume is from panic sellers or overstock selling off their bitcoins? That is what caused the downturn and spike in volume.
1428  Economy / Services / Re: Best Escrow Service? on: January 11, 2014, 05:05:43 AM
I am pretty trustworthy but don't take my word for it. When you pick an escrow service or person, make sure that they have a lot to lose if they do steal. Evaluate their businesses, their time in this forum, and try to estimate their net worth. If those all point to that it isn't worth it for them to steal the amount you want to escrow then they are a good fit for your escrow transaction.
1429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / The RPC connection keeps dropping out. on: January 11, 2014, 04:05:04 AM
I am using the bitcoind to parse the entire blockchain, right now I have -txindex=1 and I am on the testnet. I going thru the entire blockchain but after a couple 1,000 blocks, it starts throwing out a fatal error. That the response id isn't correct, is the rpc server not threaded? Or is it a php script thing? I am only going thru the blocks not transactions.

here is my script

Code:
$height=$bitcoinclient->getblockcount();
for($i=0; $i<=$height; $i++){
$reponse=$bitcoinclient->getblock($bitcoinclient->getblockhash($i));
}

I am doing some operation on it, also I am running this script in the command line not a web server so it isn't the timeout.
1430  Other / Off-topic / Just watched The Wolf of Wall Street and bitcoins ruined it... [Spoiler] on: January 10, 2014, 09:13:03 AM
Spoiler alert, the way they get caught is they used a Swiss bank to hide the funds and the Swiss banker comes to American Soil and gets arrested. This could have been solved if they used bitcoins. Sadly in the early 1990's it wasn't around.
1431  Economy / Securities / Re: If you own 3000 or more Bitcoin, Wall Street wants your advice on: January 10, 2014, 01:25:51 AM
Input & advice requested for new Bitcoin project.

What input/advice you want? I would like to do this in public. I will not be disclosing how many bitcoins I have control but it is enough to fulfill your requirement.
1432  Other / Off-topic / Please tell me someone here works for audi!!! on: January 09, 2014, 06:02:42 AM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yidKlC1yKQ

This video shows how audi cars are connecting to traffic lights. Well... put bitcoin into the traffic lights implement running late, you are going (example and made up numbers will follow this) 50 mph and you can't stop in time for the traffic life. BAM your car pays $25 or whatever and the traffic light goes from red to green. Now you don't hurt anyone, you can keep going and the city makes some money off you. I know I am dreaming a lot here, but I had to post this insane idea.
1433  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AMA you want about bitcoins! on: January 08, 2014, 05:29:59 AM
Why is MT. Gox's price per Bitcoin is all the time higher than the price per BTC of similar exchanges ?

Because Mt. Gox takes a lot of time to withdraw USD. So they are creating an artificial higher demand due to people buying but not selling as much.

Why would you want to be a moderator anyway?

Cause he is poor and he wants power and money. Instead of building it up, people like him want it handed to him.
1435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the foundation doing for FBI to help bitcoin markets? on: January 08, 2014, 03:41:50 AM
So for the sake of getting closer to the core of this discussion (and because I feel very lonely in that other, 3rd thread):

DPR wallets are 150 mio.$ at the moment. The whole amount makes around a mere 1/68th or so of the total BTC market cap, so this shouldn't really move markets very far.  I have seen stashes of about 30 mio.$ bought on days on which the market stayed in a 40$ range for the whole day. No worries there.

30million is still 5X less than DPR's wallet and who knows they could have access to more of his bitcoins we don't know about.

I'm assuming those are the only wallets, because they are the only ones ever talked about. Even if it's double or triple the amount, it wouldn't do much.

It's the same as if all the BTCs ever mined in the world were worth 68$, and you are in possession of BTC by the value of 1$. How far do you think you could move the market when you sold all your BTCs at once?

You do make a good point their, I still don't know. I think if they sold them cheap enough they would crash the market.
1436  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AMA you want about bitcoins! on: January 08, 2014, 03:31:49 AM
I think the point at which we are saying bitcoin is too high for me would be $100,000 a coin. That is when I will be like that is our peek. I doubt bitcoins could go to $1million but I hope I am wrong Wink. I am longing bitcoin until I am dead or bitcoin is worth $0 even then I probably keep using it unless it had some flaw.

Very optimistic, I hope you indeed right. I also want to keep using Bitcoin, although I will be withdrawing around about 50% when the price is right.

Optimistic probably, but bitcoin is so amazing, I get giddy talking about it.
1437  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AMA you want about bitcoins! on: January 08, 2014, 03:17:31 AM
when will it reach 10,000 dollars?

By the end of this year, I think we are going to get to a point where companies will be jumping on aboard left and right just pushing us higher and higher.

Do you think it will get any higher?  Roll Eyes

Should you invest long term or short term (day / week trade) to maximize the most profit?

EDIT: Also, why isn't litecoin going to 1/4 bitcoin? It's stuck around 20.

Long term, I been long term, only taking out bitcoins to pay huge bills.

I don't know I think it has to do with that exchange that was faking trades, I am not update on litecoin news as much as bitcoins.
