Social media platforms are more of entertainment purposes not sharing knowledge and this is bitcoin related forum where you only have the discussion about these topics only and no other things so comparing the forum with social media platform is absolutely wrong.You see there are rumours on social media these days but if you are on the forum you are gaining knowledge from the legitimate sources and if somebody is wrong other members put the right information to your eyes.So this forum is library for those who want to study and have open discussion about bitcoin and crypto stuff.

There are some other forums also like Bitcoingarden,cryptotalks where similar sort of discussion are being carried out but they have far less user base compared to bitcointalk and most of them are filled with only spam posting although it's the case here also but not too much compared to these forums.This forum is prevailing from a long time and developed by Satoshi having some financial benefits included with it so we see many users turning here only.Moreover the amount of knowledge you can gain here is abundant only if you wish to learn it.

There are many useful members on the forum who shares their knowledge and experience with others making their importance on the forum but it doesn't imply that they are the only one's that matter.This forum is sort of community and we all have the same value but our knowledge levels can be different and our reach determine how well we are known across the forum.

Speaking for myself then I have shown progress in past few months ranking up on the forum but only with positive approach of giving our best contribution to the forum leaving aside the fact I am important or not because you need to do something really helpful and useful for the community to be recognised.

Now as you say about @theymos and other high rank members giving you reply makes you important then I would say it's not like that as you see his last reply was in the technical section to a full member so is he more important on the forum then others?

If you see from forum perspective then there's a collectibles section where you can see lot of members are interested in buying physical stuff that can be transferred to them via shipment but don't think so your NFT sale would happen there but still you can try out there.Or the other way is you can ask for help by reaching out members that can help your project grow but they will be paid service.

You see there are really good artwork projects out there that are not able to sell without reaching the target audience so how do you think your artwork would sell easily.See don't get me wrong and I appreciate your efforts but if we are seeking fund raise then we also need to look at all the aspects like art improvement, marketing and what utility will it offer to the holders.So make sure you make some plans accordingly and then try to sell your artwork.

Don't know if we would see improvement in IT sector but we should focus on more privacy oriented ways to secure our personal information without being sharing them on any social site we see out there as they are themselves making money from these data dumps and we don't have idea about big this is it.

For me also Tor works exactly the best but if you are looking for some privacy focused browser then Brave is also the good choice as it would also protect you from the Google ads we see out there solving lot of problem and little fast then Tor and in case you want to have complete privacy you can switch to the Tor window in it only and it's best in Android devices also.

I would say not to have your funds stored on exchange at all and withdraw them on your wallets because exchange are more prone to hacks and using seperate mails for them won't work at all so it's better to avoid them as much possible and have the custody of your funds with you only.

As others have already said that these discussions would fit in the existing sections so we don't need another board for them as well.

I wonder if we need different sub board for each main topic discussion as we have plenty of threads in Meta about having an NFT dedicated board as well but they can also come under Altcoin section so why we need seperate boards for them as well.

Moreover at this time I think @theymos don't have any plans to make ammendments to the forum and requesting on specific boards for general discussion which can be sorted out under existing sections won't help at all.

Yeah there are more of speculation and we see less of these signals for price movements related threads so it's already clear we don't need a different board for discussion which are not making significant part of the forum discussions.
