1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy TRON or ETH? on: December 28, 2018, 06:23:23 AM
Ethereum' will be my recommendation.  Ethereum have been very successful and this success came out of development and growth that is happening in Ethereum platform.  People trust Ethereum more than any other altcoin and this is evidently clear by amount of investment that goes into to Ethereum!

Well clearly the price is not showing that. Many icos took to the eth platform especially last year when icos boomed. The problem is, majority of those aren't real projects and a lot of people became victims to bogus icos. Probably one reason why eth went spiralling downwards this year. And tron was one of the few coins that went against the downward trend during this recent plunge.
1422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is back green, are these signs of a bull run? on: December 28, 2018, 06:19:36 AM
Now we don't know this is bull or not but few weeks later we will understand what is happening, if we pass 3900+ dollar and can stay above it we can go to 6k dollar but if we can't stay there, 3k is coming again.

Yes, it is impossible to predict whether it is a bull run or not until the price of Bitcoin will cross more than 6000$. I hope the price is kept declining because now it is holiday season many people need money and they wan't spend the holiday season with a lot of enjoyment.

Lol you're looking way too far for a 6k target and it seems that we've already hit our head with this current mini run as we're headed downwards once more lol. Don't expect too much if the market rebounds a couple of hundred dollars since it'll take more than that for a legit bull run.
1423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Bullrun will start? on: December 28, 2018, 06:16:26 AM
For the end of this year, it might not be expected with the market conditions collapsing. I certainly hope that in January 2019 the market will start to surge. And now is the right time to buy coins that you think are promising and have great potential.

Lol  and there are people who were eager to state that the bull run started last week when the price jumped. Clearly we're not out of the bears' domain just yet and it's very likely we'll be here until next year.
1424  Economy / Economics / Re: Is wallet security important to use? on: December 27, 2018, 01:22:35 PM
Our assets are certainly not safe if we do not prioritize the security of the wallet. Security is certainly necessary because the data is very risky and people will easily access it if they knew. There are several good security service providers used like Google Authenticator.
well, when a wallet is equipped with certain security offered, then use it, such as email verification, 2fa, and so on. of course I have experience of this, and the system is really useful to use.

Well it's not just useful, it's extremely necessary. It's your money for goodness' sake. I would take all measures to make sure my money doesn't go anywhere even if i have to put extra effort to it.
1425  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: December 27, 2018, 01:19:55 PM
Even if cryptos have volatility and can't be used as official mediums of exchange then it's got another use case and that's what many people have resorted to now (trading). I also believe it is due to this that some countries have started regarding cryptos as assets rather than money.

Fiat is volatile as well though not in the level of crypto. I think once crypto's volatility becomes more tamed, that's the time that people will seriously look at the transactional use for it more than it's profit making use.
1426  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin if there is a global economic crash? on: December 27, 2018, 01:17:30 PM
In theory, Bitcoin will take off again, but if capitalists don't want this to happen, Bitcoin will fall. Now that the economic cycle has entered a 100-year cycle, many countries will have huge problems.

Probably Bitcoin wouldn't easily to fall because it's been supported by some big whales as we say. If there is an economic crashed, well or will probably have some reaction and to think it would probably make the value to go down.

Probably depends on what caused that economic crash. Imagine if ww3 broke out wiping most country's economic structures. I don't think even crypto would be able to survive that with basic essentials like online connection possibly becoming compromised.
1427  Economy / Economics / Re: All times are good to enter crypto - Tim Draper on: December 27, 2018, 01:15:11 PM
I agree with him 100%. No matter when you enter the crypto market, it is important how you manage your investment portfolio.

I couldn't agree more. The time you entered the bitcoin or cryptocurrency world doesn't matter as long as you know well how to prosper it then that is good. The time is not the problem in joining because whenever is fine as much as you will manage your coin and investment very well and so strategic. So overall, you can enter this world anytime and that anytime is best if you will make more money by that.

Well tell that to those that entered at above 15k lol. We can say thesr things because we haven't lost as much as those people. It's a different story if you have to wait years before even getting your capital back.
1428  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC defeated in 2019? on: December 27, 2018, 01:13:12 PM
Crypto currency seems to cold down these days and many people have lost faith in the past few months...

People find most token are fake indeed, what they have was just a whitepaper.

I think most of them will die in the next year.

But what about Bitcoin?

As the first and the most influential one, Bitcoin is still weak with numerous restrictions.

Maybe it will fall into the ground due to the political factors, or beaten by other token which is better.

 Huh

If your basis for that is the "crash" That transpired this year, then you still have to look closer dude. I'm not a fan of historical comparisons but if you look at the larger picture, bitcoin should've been gone by now if it were that weak. Many people are backing btc and that backbone is sturdy enough to ensure it future. And most associate blockchain with btc and we all are aware of it's use even now.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: December 27, 2018, 06:38:32 AM
It's good to hear though that the injury suffered by Lebron is not that bad after although he was listed as day-to-day with groin injury. I agree though that Golden State has a off-night as they're missing shots that Curry or Durant has been hitting all day long. But it's a good win for the Lakers and all around performance after Lebron have to sit after he hyper extended that left groin.
Let's see if the Lakers can still have a win without Lebron.
If they'll make a good record then maybe we have to applause this team for playing with team work.
I'm afraid that they will be like the Cavaliers performance without Lebron James playing with them.

Since the injury is not so serious, I believe they'll still be in the top 8 spot even though they'll stop winning.
If lakers will manage to play the same type of chemistry  against the warriors, and the blend and dedications of each players inside the court will continue, even without Lebron they will be able to win, rondo is always a playmaker as he can deal with pressures, he just needed some backup coming from kuzma and the rest of the team, maybe we are now seeing the true potential of this squad after defeating the champ on its own court.
Warriors are the champ, they will eventually adjust and every game, the Lakers are facing different teams which brings different type of players on the floor. Lebron is not just an ordinary player of the Lakers, he is the main man who can easily bring a triple double in a game, so it's a big loss for the team if he cannot play.

The Lakers playing without their star player is just like the old Lakers who struggles.

Well the lakers seem to be getting the hitch of winning now. That's one thing lebron brought to this young team whether we admit it or not. And they're likely bound for the playoffs even if james doesn't play for a couple of more games. They're still well stacked than many of the teams in the league.
1430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 232: Jones vs Gustafsson 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: December 27, 2018, 06:35:27 AM
@Kemrait. What is phased?

I mean pace himself, LOL. Perhaps I forgot to take my daily dose of insulin when I replied.  Grin

@Hydrogen. Jon Jones also has improved his boxing. I reckon the biggest difference between his fights from before and the fight next week will be his hands. They will be faster, stronger and they will hit their targets.

My prediction is a doctor's stoppage on the 5th round because Alexander Gustaffson's eyes are closed shut courtesy of Jon Jones' boxing hehehe.

I agree, but the whole scenario change again when Jones tested positive and I'm sure that his legacy will be tainted even if he win the rematch. Anyways, it was reported that the substance has no performing enhancing qualities,

Quote
According to USADA, the UFC’s anti-doping partner, an “extremely low” amount of the prohibited substance 4-chloro-18-nor-17β-hydroxymethyl,17α-methyl-5α-androst-13-en-3α-ol (M3) was found in Jones’ system from an out-of-competition sample collected in early December. It was the same substance Jones tested positive for in July 2017 and USADA and CSAC, citing scientists, have said that it’s a long-term metabolite and Jones has already been sanctioned for this particular substance. The metabolite has no performance-enhancing qualities, Foster said, citing scientists and Dr. Daniel Eichner, the lab director at WADA-accredited SMRTL in Salt Lake City.

https://www.mmafighting.com/2018/12/24/18155298/jon-jones-agrees-to-vada-drug-testing-ahead-of-ufc-232

Well regardless whether it's performance enhancing or not, it already tarnished what seemed to be a legendary career. Jon jones is a onr of a kind fighter let's all admit it. The kind of like anderson silva in his prime. But these issues with peds dragged the guys career pretty low.
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: December 27, 2018, 06:28:56 AM
In related news:

Adrien Broner Sued By Jeweler Over $1.15 Million in Unpaid Bills
Adrien Broner Arrested in Florida Due To Outstanding Warrant.

But it looks like the fight is going to push through despite Broner having personal problems. But it's crazy though, $1 million for jewelry alone? That's why boxers really need to be careful with their finances otherwise all the money they got will just be wipe out in just a couple of years.

LOL. Maybe AB really needed this fight so that hey can pay his debts. It's always been the case for high profile athletes though, majority of them either been scammed by their Managers or they are dumb to make a healthy and good financial decisions in life. Who the hell will buy a million worth of jewelries just to show-off? It was said that he is emulating Floyd, bad actor to be your "Hero".

Well a lot of these blue collar sportsmen didn't start well off in the first place so it's understandable that some of them succumb to trying to live beyond their means. Especually when you see bastards like mayweather showing off what they  earned through boxing. This is going to be something that'll be in broner's head come fight night and another thing going for old man pacquiao.
1432  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: December 27, 2018, 06:01:58 AM
This year I didn't get that much profits only thing I did was holding my investments , I hope all my patience will pay off next year and there will be bull market and I make more profits  Grin

many investors are in same hope only ?? I would like to know what you guys think about next year,
I hope same like you because there are some coins that I hold for almost 7 months and I don't let go of it because I'm waiting for the market to recover again, and now even though the market is still fluctuating and giving correction but at least now the positive trend is starting.

Well things aren't always going to go our way. Some people have been holding for more than a year now and they haven't even gotten half of their investments. The bulls are having a pretty good time hibernating and even if we had a few positive movements, i don't think the bulls are at work then.
1433  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I choose on: December 27, 2018, 05:58:52 AM
Of course, I would choose the second option - because cryptocurrency is something that I understand relatively well and what I have been dealing with over the past few years, so for me there will be no alternative in this regard. I choose a cryptocurrency because no other field of activity could bring me a income comparable to what a cryptocurrency provides.

Well what works for you might not be the case for majority of the people though. I'm pretty sure more than half of crypto users aren't earning as much especially during bear markets like this. What would they do then if this continues for another whole year?
1434  Economy / Economics / Re: the future of crypto is good or bad on: December 27, 2018, 05:55:30 AM
It's good and soon will be a mainstream payment for commerce, restaurants, hotel and different businesses though i wouldn't suggest putting all your money especially savings. My advice is only invest money you can afford to lose cause if you've put huge sum of money you will definitely get emotional in decision making and make mistakes that could potentially lose your money.
but right now, it's still hard to guess. well, we do say that the development of cryptocurrency in the future will be better, but that is still 50:50. but we have to prepare for whatever happens in the future.

The future is still a long way to go and with technology pushing us further when it comes to making transactions easier, i'd say the future looks more on the bright side for crypto in general. Unless any unfortunate global events happen that is.
1435  Economy / Economics / Re: Money vs Barter on: December 27, 2018, 05:53:03 AM
actually, barter have advantages. barter no need money to exchange what you need. so if you dont have money, you can barter with what they need. you as consultant can make over the other thing what you have to get some clothes. so, its not depend on you are work as consultant or other job.
money, can be better solution to create thing like of you have it, you can exchange woth anything you want, as long as the value is good.
so, you can use barter if someone want and deal about what you do.
Well, I think, some people still use barter, and of course that might be quite profitable. well, but, I think that is rarely found, because for those who have money, they may not need barter.
in the era of globalization and increasingly advanced technology barter is not a widely used payment system, this system has long been abandoned because it is less efficient and fair, maybe if you are in a poor country like Africa you can still find a transaction system like this
Well even before any form of money used, this barter method was the most effective way to trade. Though with the dawn of new technology, it becomes less likely that barter system would be practiced in most parts of the world. Assets aren't fairly distributed to people you know.
1436  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: December 27, 2018, 05:49:57 AM
What do you think, how many people are ready to sell their goods or services on crypto? Let's say that we have service which help quick and easy to build online store and sell for cryptocurrency. What kind of reasons can motivate people to start a crypto business?

Any small business that plans to use cryptocurrency as mode of payment should also be for possible losses of funds due to the coin's volatility. They must also have a good knowledge in cryptocurrencies so they can be prepared for any eventuality like sharp decline of prices and pssible hackings. I think virtual coins is not yet popular in many places and number of merchants that uses it is still limited.
the main thing is they have to understand about cryptocurrency, as you describe it, of course, by accepting payments using bitcoin has high volatility, so it becomes very risky if there is a drastic decline. but if they can manage it, this has 2 advantages, which can be used as an investment tool

Well people who will accept crypto as payments would already by well aware of that possibility i'm sure. I don't think a newbie crypto user would have the guts to trade wares for crypto.
1437  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin volume is still rising ? on: December 27, 2018, 05:48:01 AM
Sure, the volume of Bitcoin will increase and still will continue to be the king of cryptocurrency. I see the opportunity to increase the volume of Bitcoin in the future is still very large, indeed at this time, the market conditions are sluggish but some time ahead the market will Bull again.
I hope you don't make predictions according to your heart, but you also have data about that. up or down the price of Bitcoin depends on investor confidence in bitcoin.

Obviously it's a wishful prediction. Btc just dropped back and we're probably going to stay within the 3.5k to 4k area until the new year. This is what i said about getting people's hopes up very high lol.
1438  Economy / Economics / Re: current situation of cryptocurrency for 2018 on: December 27, 2018, 05:45:59 AM
YEAR 2018 will end up rising as what we are seeing now.
2019 will be better than 2017 as 2018 will start the rise now.
This is what we are waiting for and we should seek more of it. start buying as the price still low.

Its true, 2018 will over and it looks market start recover again. Crypto market cap already increasing more than $25billions in just 3 days and i think 2019 will be good year for cryptomarket. I am believe many good news will come and affecting market fluctuation.
we hope this is will good movement for december closing.and also good start for next year, so we become more optimistic about cryptocurrency future.and more investors will attracted in market.

Aaand it down again lol. A few days after xmas and we're seeing it again below the 4k mark. I don't know if you're optimisms are true to your belief but there's no clear sign we'll end the year like you said. 2018 is somewhat a forgettable year aside from all the lessons it taught us about the market.
1439  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: December 27, 2018, 05:43:30 AM
There is no miracle for bitcoin, bitcoin only needs time to have a high price again, and it would be long so this is where we are tested to have patience or not to hold it. In my opinion this is reasonable because bitcoin is unstable with unnatural increase/decrease in price so we just have to wait until the price increasing again.
Yes, I agree. Bitcoin does not need a miracle, but Bitcoin requires buyers to increase prices, because the nature of Bitcoin is that if there are many buyers the price will rise, but if you sell a lot of Bitcoin, the price will go down.

I think we should wait for next year. In Jan and Feb, I think bitcoin price will cross 10,000$. The reason for this is some big investments is planned to come in bitcoin and also regulations is expected.

Miracles are often hoped for when situations seem dire. And i don't think that's  the case with btc.  I mean, look back to btc's early years, this has happened quite a lot and though we can't be sure when we'll be back up he top, eventually we'll get there. It may take years but i'm sure that 2017 run won't be last time btc will hit all time high.
1440  Economy / Economics / Re: The markets are rigged on: December 27, 2018, 05:36:56 AM
So many people claim that "the markets are rigged". Yet, they are unable to provide any kind of evidence, they can't show how the markets are rigged, and they can't show who is rigging the markets.

If you are going to claim that the markets are rigged, then I want to see some evidence so that I can agree or disagree. I'm not going to just take your word for it. Oh, and "everybody knows the markets are rigged" is not evidence.

Well it's up for anyone to speculate on since we don't have any way to tell whether a certain someone or group of people are manipulating the market because of crypto's anonymity. Though if you think about it another way, if you have enough resources to sway the market to your favor, wouldn't you do it? And there are such people with enough assets to do it.
