1441  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the problem of trust in projects? on: December 27, 2018, 05:33:31 AM
ICO investors must be careful to join, they should choose projects that are trustworthy and transparent. Indeed, through the ICO project many people are exposed to fraud by bringing money from the sale. Do not even know these investors must report of course not to their government.

Well you can never be too careful when it comes to dealing with icos and even then, you still can get scammed. That's why this year has seen a decline in ico support mainly because of the number of bogus projects that boomed last year.
1442  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: December 27, 2018, 05:31:28 AM
There will be a fixed number if Bitcoins, and people, because of human error, will accidentally lose Bitcoins every now and then.

This must mean that Bitcoin will eventually seize to exist? Or at least shrink to minimal amounts, when it shrinks to a certain level, it will no longer be useful.

Is this correct?

I dont think bitcoin will disappear because if bitcoin growing more higher, people will keep it for their investment. Perhaps, people's coin can disappear and supply shrink in market but the price must be getting more expensive

This is the beginning of Bitcoin and it is not the end so many trips must be passed before Bitcoin dies quickly. You should make a decision to buy the coin.

I don't think the percentage of that "human error" You're pertaining to would be significant enough to cause such effect. I mean, you'd have to be really careless or irresponsible to lose your btcs and there aren't that much of that kind now.
1443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect Dice experience on: December 23, 2018, 02:04:17 PM
The most important thing we see from the site dice is reputation. Because sites with good reputations are sure to guarantee that the funds we have will not disappear (without us playing) this is the main factor that underlies some people to choose a particular site to play their funds

That is the reason why a lot of gamblers online don't really move to other sites that easily

In the past, there are a lot of gamblers and I asked my friend that put his virtual items on some betting sites to bet and earn money or virtual items too, why do you stick to that sites? There are a lot of them. He just smiled at me and said that, "I've used to it, besides I did not experience anything that would make me go to other sites". People are really sticking to sites, things or services that they are used to. Like my  mom always say, it is proven and tested that is the reason she would never try other things except that.

Well wouldn't want assurance for their money right? That's why new dice sites pump their platform with promotions and promises so they could get customers to try them and keep on trying them.
1444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: December 23, 2018, 01:59:54 PM
Well there is a chance winning in gambling, if you play for short term than you can win some, the most important things in gambling is know when to stop, there are numerous of stories where people won a lot of money from gambling, so its not correct to stated that no gambler ever won, only the greedy gambler that never won

That's a bad advice.
Even if you stop - for how long will you stop? For 1 week, 1 month, 1 year?

You see ... unless you don't gamble at all - gambling is a bad proposition ... so your advice "know when to stop" is a bad advice. And it has been proven to be a bad advice throughout history.

The OP is right, the players never win, it's only the house that constantly wins.

Correction, SOME gamblers do win. Bigtime. It's just a matter of luck really. As far as consistent winning i doubt there's such a thing but a lucky lottery ticket is very real man.
1445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: December 23, 2018, 01:47:14 PM
I doubt AD will reject the contract given to him but there is no point of him not getting traded neither, they can do a sign and trade.

The problem is that Lakers are not willing to send any of their young players right now, it happened when Kawhi was the discussion, they didn't give any of their young players for someone like Kawhi who is a superstar and a MVP candidate, they of course rejected giving any of their young players for Trevor Ariza which kinda makes sense.

If they want to get someone like AD they will have to give some of their young players no matter what, AD won't come for free they need to spend some money for it or at least assets. Hence I think Lakers should start looking at their young core and start considering how much they worth. With Lebron+AD+Kawhi they could easily get the ring without a question.

I dont think that will work or could work.
It is different with the super Miami before because Bosh could always give way and Wade have already experienced having a big man at his side which is Shaq.

But Lebron and Kawhi together with an AD? I doubt they can make some sense to them. It will also defy the balance of NBA which will make it boring only.

I would rather have Lebron + AD or Kawhi + AD rather than put them all in one team.
NBA is not Lakers only. They will be losing money if no one is watching the other teams.
If the deal will workout for this three to play together, west finals would be really much interesting to watch, Curry, Durant, and the boogeyman against  Lebron, Kawhi and AD, the game will be against coaches and how chemistry will be blend when super team will play against each other, just like watching NBA all star night..

It would be much better with all teams being balanced. I dont want to be just waiting for just 2 teams when there is so much skills around every team.
Look at Denver now. Just the addition of Jokic made them a strong team and gained a number 1 spot on the Western Conference.

In my opinion it would pull more fans going to each stadium of every team rather than a heavy traffic in LA and GS. It aint just about the television but also about the fans paying up for the seats. They need to pull some of those to get this players paid.

Lol. Any of that happening would make the west pretty much the nba 🤣 though a trio of bron, kawhi and davis would not likely happen if with ball, ingram and kuzma still on the team. A potent combination of talent, experience and youth. Gsw's status as THE super team would greatly be overwhelmed.
1446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who reads the whitepaper of a crypto-project? on: December 23, 2018, 01:41:48 PM
Just curious if you guys read the whitepapers of the projects you want to invest in at some point?

I'm a fan (hence my site), but I always wonder what kind of research people do on coins before throwing money at it.

John
www.allcryptowhitepapers.com

This is a nice idea mate! I also suggest that you can summarize all the technicals in a certain whitepaper as well as if you can have like a verdict if a certain whitepaper is a lousy one or can hit a home run.

That would be awesome, but I'm busy enough as it is with adding & updating whitepapers  Smiley. Pretty difficult as well since you have to be really tech savvy to get to the core of the tech and make a solid assessment of how they're going to solve a problem...I think other people will be better in that  Grin. Definitely love the suggestion though, would've been a good addition to the site.

Any serious investor would find it a sound idea to run through a project's whitepaper. Though even a seemingly well constructed one can end up just that. It should be a part of any investor's reseach but not solely depending on it.
1447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are you now afraid to save bitcoin until December 2018 on: December 23, 2018, 01:33:26 PM
December seems bullish for bitcoin so far so I dont think I'm gonna sell my stuff in near future , I keep my holded coins and dont sell as long as market is bullish , I think bitcoin makes its holders happy at the end of 2018!
I think what is feared by many holders has happened, the price has gone down very deeply and of course is very detrimental to them, even I've heard someone lose up to 70% on their assets during this bearish,

December has not been said to be bearish because I saw prices falling several times yesterday..
Let it happened even then I think those who know the nature of bitcoin should not get afraid. I have seen the movement of the market to bottom but the only thing that helped me to go through bad days is my patience and my faith for crypto currency. So to be honest I am not afraid for holding bitcoin. It will soon rise in price once again just be patient and hold your coin.

Funny how this 4k price is now a beacon of hope for a good 2018 run when just weeks ago hitting this point causes panic and fuds lol. I don't think there's reason to celebrate or get be depressed since the movement isn't that big yet.
1448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you're ~15% in the red, is it crazy to sell? on: December 23, 2018, 01:30:28 PM
It depends on the situation, if you feel that the market is going down again then it is good if you will sell your coins for you to buy in the next dip. Always think effectibe strategy before you make a decision.
You cut loss at the time you feel the price will continue to go down.
With this done at the right timing, you will be able to minimize your loses or you can be profitable when buying at a lower price.
Market will rebound even at bearish period, so choose the right timing and be patient as it will certainly just come.
I wish I'm really consistent in day trading, money would be easy for me for sure.

Of course, a successful trader must act on every crash. It is not crazy to sell crypto currencies for a cheaper price -15% if you feel that the coin markets will fall in the intermediate term. Always listen to your moods, read news and do not rely on technical analysis, because crypto exchange markets are highly manipulated and unpredictable. Choose the entry point correctly and you will not suffer losses.

Well that's averaging and it's always a sound strategy for a lot of people especially those that are well experienced already and those that have good amount for capital. Not for me though. Prefer to be more on the investor type.
1449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Well played btc family on: December 23, 2018, 01:27:56 PM
Well played today btc family Grin. I want to mean BTC, BCHABC And BSV. Just 3 coin huge bump today. All others all is as same before. Few alts are still on down trend. I am suspecting it's a whales game. They dump 3 of them huge and after bought on low price suddenly bump. Genaral traders like us fall on their trap. I don't know if someone believe or not whales game but I believe. They are the one who make huge pump suddenly and huge dump suddenly. What you think about it ?
most people believe that market price movements can be easily manipulated by whales, but now the altcoin shows a slight increase again, it clearly shows that approaching the turn of the year many large investors can influence market price movements

Any movement can be initiated by whales. And then they can just let fomo do it's work and see people foolishly jumping in simply because they don't want to miss out. And then they can just easily take profit leaving gullible traders hanging.
1450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: More than 608k BTC was moved from dormant wallets! on: December 23, 2018, 01:25:40 PM
These days no entity has the power to read bitcoin price nor to speculate it price surge but only time and research now does. Movement of such funds are more dangerous to the bear market now but the reverse is the case, as the movement in the market never slack movement since last couple of days back. Those funds might be from the Exchange which are held by the owners of such exchange for the purpose of renovation or upgrade of systems.
Maybe,it is from exchange but if it is inactive for too long then chances of whale's wallet is more.Which brought the prices increase happening for the last 24 hours?

Just be patient and let's wait for the more bull to wake up.

Well that's a good point though i hope you're right lol. Not being a pessimist here but this year's been fooling us with false expectations so it won't hurt to keep neutral about it.
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the right time to buy ETH. on: December 23, 2018, 01:23:12 PM
The price of ETH has fallen more than 90% since the last ATH, so it is a huge drop. I can not imagine that the price will drop to $50. If someone wants to invest for a longer period of time, even if it is not the final price and we will see more drops, it is definitely a good time to buy Ethereum.
don't think about that too much. we do know that ETH prices have really declined since the past year. but, I began to think that at this time the price of ETH was really recovering. maybe the increase will be stable above the price of $ 150 for this year.
and today , ethereum price rise alot.in few days ethereum price shows good movement.new demand coming and market capitalization rise again.it really be good news for us in this end of year.
Not only ethereum, but I also see the average market in green conditions. Hopefully ETH can really recover prices and it doesn't matter whether ethereum will recover slowly or very quickly, which I will definitely wait for early 2019 because many people say that the market will recover, even though that must be true. Honestly, I really feel tired of this decline, but even so I won't give up easily.

Those people who were quick to put off eth when the price was declining probably are realizing now that this is an established coin already. It's a long term coin that underwent and would undergo situations like this a lot of times but will eventually recover. Quick profit for those that bought below 90usd lol
1452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't love any Alt coins. on: December 23, 2018, 01:18:57 PM
but don't love too much any coin it's my logic.

Maybe what you say is true we should not be too fond of any coins because what we are pursuing are just the benefits, so the coins we should like are coins that are trending, maybe this's the only most effective way.
we love coins because this coins could give us profits.just thats it.and also dont hold tokens too long , some times its development shows bad progress to attract its price.

not only for profit but i love any coins as long as that coin is usefull or have a verry unique feature that differs to most crypto coins out there  and it does not really matter if the coins is an altcoin , token or even bitcoin  because their characteristics are still the most important factor for me  .

Indeed. Supporting a coin just for profit puts you in a shaky situation in an already volatile market. I think it's fine to keep a couple of favorites to hold for the long run, that is if you feel confident about their relevance in the future.
1453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reversal of Bear Market? on: December 23, 2018, 01:15:54 PM
It's too early to say in my opinion. If anything, I'd probably just call it a price consolidation. While yes, the price increased by $800 if only a few days, but also take note that the prices also crashed from $4000+ to $3200 in a short time span. Is it going to continue to go up? No one knows, but my guess is that $3200 isn't the floor. yet. I repeat, it's just my guess. Trade wisely.

indeed, this is actually what makes traders doubt to enter the market again, market price fluctuations are more visible at times like this but this time the impact is negative, the price fluctuation has absolutely no positive effect, when prices are below, people are more doubt and fear if prices are likely to fall even more

I think u guys underestimating the fact that it took more than 9 months for btc to drop below 6K

And now that its dropped here u guys are underestimating the fact that BTC is at all yearly lows

A Bullish move back to 5.5K will not suprise me at all.

Same way as a drop back to the lower 3k levels won't surprise me either. No one's underestimating bitcoin and people are even having higher expectations than necessary when this upward movement started. Bottomline is, we can't be too complacent.
1454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will the bull run return this December? on: December 23, 2018, 01:11:18 PM
The bulls are back ! The bears are in disbelief .

5 K lets go !  Cool

You don't even call this a bull run dude. We're just hovering around the 4k point, much like how we're doing a few months until the price plummeted mid november. Don't get your hopes up just yet man.
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin - are we hitting the highest value? on: December 23, 2018, 01:09:51 PM
without the fensa for people who like dogecoin, but what is the purpose of dogecoin? I mean, when people buy dogecoin, what do these people do with those dogecoins they're buying?  dogecoin  have any use in real life? why the hell something that does not have a great use it is on the 20 ranking in the coinmarketcap? these are things that are very difficult to understand in the crypto world. there are many nonsense altcoins

today I saw this: Bitcoin God (GOD)

Price: $8,23

Volume (24h): $450 819 USD

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-god/#markets

Who the hell buys this altcoin?
Couldn't they just want your BTC or ETH? Or maybe you money?

It's a traders life, to profit from someone else's loss.

Anyways, I've seen doge trading at 0.00000019 last year, the lowest maybe? But come on, who ever pumped it must have earned more BTC.

Lol. Everyone loves a good parody and a good meme 😄🤣 i doubt doge has any use at all but some companies may find it fitting to put a use to it considering it's one of the oldest alts and quite popular as well.
1456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: THE NEXT MARKET MOVEMENT. UP OR DOWN? on: December 23, 2018, 01:06:47 PM
Most of the predicted already happened. Because if someone negtives they create negatives also to other people to start panic so that the price really dump the value. But now Im really sure the next market movement will increase again the price of cryptocurrency.
People were hoping for it as the huge possibility of happening in opposite of what happen this year. We must be always in the positive side and thinking on its recovery rather than to stay in nega. At this time, we shall enjoy it and lets celebrate Christmas with no worries in our mind.
Sentiment from selling orders will expand throughout the end of December, Christmas is just a sentiment forming opinion to make it happen. But in the end the market will indeed have a thicker volume. and that's where all situations can be predicted, I don't know right but what is certain is that not too important price increases will occur and far from higher price estimates.
Now the situation has shown that there will be an increase. Already about 3 days there has been an increase in the Price of Bitcoin and Etherum. this is certainly very positive because the increase in the price of Bitcoin and Etherum will make the stigma much better. this is because most of the benchmarks for other altcoin prices are the two coins. Believe that the future is very bright and we will be able to make a profit if we can be patient and take the right momentum.

Well you'd have to include ripple there also i guess. But yeah current status looks good though i doubt there's going to be any significant "bull runs" To propel us further than where we are now. Not in the next few days at least. But still it's good to end the year on a positive note.
1457  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is not going UP anytime soon and here is why. on: December 21, 2018, 06:14:21 PM
Look the price of the bitcoin again it rising again and to those people who said bitcoin will not up just look and up the price will increasing slowly I think until they fully recover and until it will become better the value in the highest price in the year 2017.

Dude control yourself. We're not even back 1k up at this point. Stop expecting magical bull runs to happen again anytime soon. I guess the best solution for disappointments is to be realistic.
1458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 4000$? on: December 21, 2018, 06:12:17 PM
Before the value of the bitcoin decrease at that price and last week ago the value became $3000 and now it will turm back again to $4000 and it will continue pumping the value again and as soon as possible this week it will become $5000 each bitcoin.
And you're saying that based on your gut feel lol. If there's anything i've learned this year, it's the fact that assumptions like this can be very costly both financially and emotionally.
1459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Today is 365 days since the last ATH on: December 21, 2018, 06:10:15 PM
Is a year of time enough for the bear market? Or, will the price drops by the next couple of months?
Personally, I think that this is not the end of the bear market, and we will have to wait until 2020 for the bull run.

Even if we give the same name to any instance in which the market goes down, bear markets are different in intensity and duration, to me this will be one of the most difficult bear markets to endure since it has been huge in terms of the losses we had to endure and it is also going to last a very long time since I believe just as you do that the bull market will not appear until 2020.
Well it's been a very long year though it's ironic that a decent positive movement started a year after btc's meteoric rise. I agree that this by far won't take us that  much upwards but i won't complain for any positive movement.
1460  Economy / Speculation / Re: Jump out of the ship when it is sinking. on: December 21, 2018, 06:07:08 PM
Well, if you want to jump from the ship, goodbye to you.

Lol. Yeah by all means. A lot of people already made that jump.thinking it'll sink entirely and then had regrets when they realize their mistake.
