14621  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [APP] Designed a crypto investment portfolio app - Would love some feedback! :) on: July 07, 2017, 04:26:14 PM
Is this App going to be focused only on showing your current portfolio or there is going to have an option to show your average investments? For example, how many coins you bought on which price and how much did you profited/lost until now. Take this as a suggestion if isn't available on the app yet.

I am still looking for an app that let me track my investments in real time without me having to manually add all my investments.

Anyway, the design looks sick. I already registered myself for the early beta. Good luck!

I honestly don't want to waste my time anymore with you.
Also, I do not think Lauda would like me to extend this discussion any further in this thread.

I just fell for you if you do not see your mistakes and try to learn from them. In my opinion your posts do NOT have quality and as you are currently banned from this campaign, I really do not need to argue with you to prove that this is true.

Good luck with your future postings.
14623  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] | 🔥 Bitmixer.io Signature Campaign 🔥 | Earn up to 0.035 BTC/week on: July 06, 2017, 11:48:23 PM
According to the official rules of this campaign, not a single one of the posts above breaks them in any way.

Here are examples of one-liner posts (from the official campaign FAQ): http://imgur.com/a/JaTnX

None of the posts you copied break the campaign rules. They are all over 75 characters.

Quantity =/= Quality

Most of those posts I quoted above are just shitposts that do not contribute with anything to the discussion.

Taken from Posting guidelines thread by Lauda:

Quote
However, these are not the only cases of low quality posting. Other examples of low quality posting may include:
  • Repeating points already made in the thread,
  • Repeating answers to questions that have already been answered,
  • Posts with extremely poor English that are borderline unreadable to most users,
  • Posts that do not add anything to the topic of discussion.

In addition, the quality of posts is not necessarily increased by length. Posts should include only things that are relevant to the discussion as stated by the OP and should be straight to the point. Anything else wastes the time of the reader. Keep all of this information whilst posting. If any part of your post fits these criteria, do not post it.

Please tell me how any of these posts below contribute to something in the discussion of the posts in which they belong.

Bitcoin is very important. I spend a lot of time on Bitcoin and have told lots of people about it. First found out about it in 2013.

I challenge anyone who reads this to find even 10 of my 400 posts that are "one-liners".

Look what I found only in the first 2 pages of your post history. Here are 10 of your high quality posts:

Soon there will be Bitcoin ATMs all over every major city in the world. Well, hopefully, at least!

Highly unlikely. A major factor of Bitcoin is anonymity. It wouldn't make sense for him to reveal his identity.
I was thinking that the bubble was popping, but it just went up 3% in a few hours. So maybe not... wait and see.

can't you just search on google?

Currently, transaction fees are way too high, transaction processing time also.
As many others here are saying, your main concern should be electricity costs. If your bill is a lot higher than normal - it should be cause for concern. Otherwise, you are fine.

14628  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: July 06, 2017, 04:55:10 PM
Is Chipmixer strict about IP thing? I can't access the web using this.

Currently Im using VPN (OkayFreedom) as part of my alternative method/s to browse the internet when my connection is down or got being slow (a usual happenings here in our country).
I don't think so. They even have an official url to access the website with Tor.
I really don't see why they would deny any user from using a VPN to mix and anonymise their coins knowing that their service is focused on privacy.
14629  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [HELP] Sent a transaction with 30sat/B, increased the fee now Double Spend on: July 05, 2017, 10:39:50 PM
Transaction got confirmed but it still shows the Unconfirmed one (Double Spend), when will this be removed from blockchain?
Just wait a few days (usually 3 or 4 days) and the transaction will end up getting dropped from the mempool just like it never existed.
14630  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: 24 hours, yet unconfirmed. on: July 05, 2017, 08:47:11 PM

Do you know why only Blockchain.info is recognizing this tx and how is someone able to do this kind of transaction that will never confirm? I already saw one of those "Bitcoin Doublers" using this kind of transaction only visible by the blockchain.info explorer but never got a answer on why is this possible.

He pushes transactions that seem valid to Blockchain.info, however aren't valid on the bitcoin network as a whole. As you can see, this transaction from 'Bitcoin Magic Doubler' is valid on Blockchain, however the same transaction is not found on blockr or Blocktrail.

I believe you already did based on how your message is following his template. So, you should just wait (may take some time for an answer)

14632  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ban/negative trust on: July 05, 2017, 04:37:30 PM
Do you speak that language? Could you translate their posts and post them here? Optimally they'd get banned if the same user is behind it, but if they are *shilling* a ponzi, then they deserve a negative.
I can translate since I'm from Brazil.

They are all promoting this new coin called "Proscoin". IMO it's the same user with multiple accounts. (Every account was created in the same day)

Here is the translated version of some of those posts: (Some parts can be confusing because their Portuguese is kinda bad)

The big moment is coming! The big launch of Proscoin!

Day 07/15 ... the big day ... let's go Proscoin!!!

I already guaranteed at least 30000 thousands coins

You can all cry and complain ...

But study before you stay here embarrassing yourself. You think you know everything, but you barely know how to operate on FoxBit. (big brazillian exchange)

But rest assured, you will soon be able to train with Proscoin users through a completely friendly exchange, where nobody loses. On the other hand, you train all the skills with people with the same knowledge profile as you and then you go to the market to put in practice WHAT YOU LEARNED. This is proscoin, re-creating the market for cryptocoins. #SUCK IT

They have everything to become a great coin, it was born with a very big community, I'm definitely going to buy my coins.

We reached by now more than 50.000 investors in the Poscoin comunity!
I already bought my 144.000 coins!!!

Proscoins already bought. It's coming strong to conquer the market.

Proscoin is simply coming to renew the market.

I'm very interested in this Proscoin. From what I have heard, its coming strong since launch because it has a community of more than 50,000 users ... that's very interesting!
Does anybody knows when it's going to launch and how much will it be worth?

Hello friends. I'm watching Proscoin and I just want to say that: TO THE MOON!!!

This coin is promising a lot, [...] (something that doesn't make sense) [...] Proscoin relies on many investors for its success and applicability (?) in all the sectors of Brazil and in the rest of the world.

I believe that its fast implementation in the market will generate a BOOM in its value, thus raising the quick attention of investors who will want to understand how a simple digital currency can revolutionize the current market.

I'm looking forward to your official launch and I have already secured my PROSCOIN! I believe that the technology behind it and its educational characte will bring a better era for the COUNTRY and its MEMBERS as well as for the entire PROSCOIN community!

Let's together double (?) this IDEA.

Let's reduce inequality in the country, take away misery, bring quality education and put the people in the first place!

WITH PROSCOIN, BRAZIL WILL KNOW WHAT A TRADER IS, WHAT IS AN EXCHANGE, WHAT IS AN ALTCOINS, WHAT IS A CRYPTOCOIN EXCHANGE.

May our LEGACY stay!

A big hug, my friends.

We are already 50.000! $$$$
Pay attention in the next few days. Buy your coins starting from 15 of July!

Which exchanges will accept Proscoin?

YoBit and CoinBr already confirmed!!!
14633  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: ICO ban for the US citizens on: July 05, 2017, 12:35:21 AM
Quote
To put this into perspective, the United States is quite strict when it comes to investment regulations. Only accredited investors can partake in private placements of securities. While some people would urge all cryptocurrency ICOs are tokens and not securities, regulators will have a very different opinion regarding this matter. A lot of the ICOs we have seen can be labeled as traditional sales of equity.

[...]

Once the SEC will effectively intervene in cryptocurrency ICOs – which is only a matter of time – things will get very interesting, to say the least. A lot of previous ICOs didn’t take the necessary steps to “deny” US citizens from investing. All of those projects and their teams are at the mercy of the SEC for the time being. Violating US securities laws is not something anyone wants to deal with. Additionally, these laws can also be enforced upon non-US companies, which makes it even more important to take countermeasures.

And in a more simplistic way:

Quote
In the United States, only accredited investors can be offered private placements of securities, and the onus is on the issuer (in this case, the token sale dev team) to ensure that only accredited investors take part, lest they expose themselves personally and their company to potential criminal liabilities in the United States.

Just read about some post here about merging but they don't actually share how to do merging bitcoin addresses in electrum..
Do you have any source of step by step how to merging bitcoin addresses into one address i got read some post the 1 input can decrease the transaction fee  and would like to test and hope you can give some blog post or you can share step by step merging bitcoin addresses.
Just send all the Bitcoins you want to "merge" to a new address. If you received coins in multiple addresses, you will see there will be a lot of inputs and only one output (your new address) on your transaction. You should read ranochigo's post before asking something he already answered.

offtopic: I believe ChipMixer signature campaign requires you to only do high quality posts. I saw some of your other posts in some threads I was reading and IMO you are usually shit posting and making points already made previously in the thread. 14635  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: July 04, 2017, 09:42:26 PM
hemm,
i feel like playing dice at there not laundry my coin
maybe if chipmixer had grup/channel on telegram,it will be more informatif and effective to handle complain also disscus about mixing, because remember if chipmixer had mixing via bot too.
Why playing dice? Do you mean "gambling" your coins because of the risk of having your private keys stored by ChipMixer?

The best way to avoid this kind of issue would be sweep your new coins after mixing them. Something that in my opinion, almost everybody does. The smartest user wouldn't use this mixer and keep using the address generated by ChipMixer afterwards. That's why I think that many are exaggerating about this situation.

The risk of having your coins stolen by any other mixer is almost the same as with ChipMixer. How many Bitcoins in all private-keys generated by them do you think would be enought to make it worth an exit scam? Do you think someone mixing 10 or 50 Bitcoins would keep their coins in those addresses after mixing?
14636  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [IDEA] Nextgen Bitcoin wallet on: July 04, 2017, 08:48:26 PM
You really should translate the website to English if you want your website to be a option. Maybe hire a translator?

So, let me see if I understood. You already have a functional website and now you are looking to expand your services and make a wallet? Is this going to be a online wallet or a offline software like Electrum and Mycelium? Also, is Nextgen going to be the name of your wallet or are you trying to say this is going to be the "next generation" web wallet? (lol)

Here a few key features your wallet should have:
- allow user to set a custom fee
- store multiple assets (ltc, eth, dash...)
- 2FA (if a web wallet)

P.s: If you want people to invest in your project, make a proper announcement, find some trusted users to escrow and show your ideas. No one is going to send you money that easy.

I also have questions Huh

I've been trying to find info concerning the limitations for posting for different ranks and I only found info about signatures.
Do I get it right, that to start a new topic you can be a complete newbie but to add pictures to the topic, you need to be a Jr Member?
And the min time to get from one to another is a month, right? Shocked

Unfortunately, I haven't been paying much attention to what my account could do before I got to junior. Tongue I just posted replies in various topics.
Everything can be found in the same thread by theymos. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

To insert pictures: Jr. Member and above.

Limits on posting

Code:

if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);

14638  Other / Meta / Re: Email Validation on: July 04, 2017, 08:14:46 PM
I don't even think you really need to put a valid email.

You don't have to verify your email to use the forum and the password recovery using your email isn't working.
(or wasn't the last time I saw, can't confirm right now).

Do like Quickseller said and put any email you have access, later you can take the time to change this.

/lock the thread if you don't have any more doubts

14639  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Why is coinbase fee much higher? on: July 04, 2017, 06:58:38 PM
Coinbase actually does not charge any of this, the bitcoin tework does.

Unforutantely the network congestion issue is very real right now and basically affecting everyone that is using bitcoin. No way to go around it either. Coinbase used to have 0 transaction fees which meant that a lot of people could send microtransactions with no fees, but now this is no longer the case. Xapo also closed all their 0 fee transactions, which is a shame.

If you send the actual transaction and go onto any block explorer, you'll see that the fee you paid matches the actual blockchain fee...
That's true, but you should see that there are situations that no one needs to pay that much to get a transaction confirmed. There was a few times in the last month when I sent a transaction with a fee of 90 satoshis/byte and it got confirmed in 2 hours. Also, sometimes people are not in a hurry, and they just want to avoid wasting money in fees.

Looks like Coinbase has a fixed fee that doesn't consider the Blockchain current load.

between the online wallets, isn't coinbase the chepeast regarding the fees?
No. Blockchain.info for example, allows you to set a custom fee on your own.
14640  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: What will happen in Mycelium with regards to a hard fork? on: July 04, 2017, 06:14:09 PM
I'm still confuse on what I need to do with this upcoming hard fork, I've got my coins at blockchain.info any tutorial for this to put it on a safer place?
Just download any offline wallet like Electrum (recommended), create a new wallet and send your coins to your new address. If we ever split the chain, provided that you don't touch your coins (spending) in the early stage of the split, you and your coins will be fine.

Then just wait for instructions. I'm sure that there will be articles telling you what to do if you want to follow X chain.
