1501  Economy / Speculation / Re: October price guess on: October 04, 2022, 03:25:10 PM
Just follow the 4-year chart of Bitcoin, it appears that we will see a big movement this month of October. Every year this month has seen an uptrend in bitcoin price. The month has just started and soon we will be able to see that positive sign for Bitcoin. Hopefully Bitcoin will be able to reach above $25000 this month.
If you are talking about having to follow Bitcoin's 4 year chart for pumps then now is not the time to get pumps because October is October for 2025 and not this year.
Because if you calculate 4 years after the pump occurred or after the dump occurred, it is clear that the time is 2025, not 2022 as it is now. Even if there is a price increase later this month, I think it will only be small and temporary and will not create new ATH in Bitcoin.
I wouldn't expect it to take that long, and I always disagreed on the 4 year cycle bs, I believe it's 3 years, look at the past and you will see that it took 3 years to start going up again each time. Meaning it should be 2023, why? Because it was 2017, and in 2020 we went up, not peaked but went up, and 3 years from 2020 is 2023, and we are very verge of getting there now.

So in the next 12 months, I can see it either breaking the ATH again, or it will be a good high price all over again. That is my speculation though, doesn't matter to me, it could be 2025 all I care and that means I would be able to accumulate more bitcoin until it goes up again.
1502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market? on: October 04, 2022, 11:46:20 AM
If by "new people" you mean new investors then yes, bear markets would generally be more helpful since if we consider how Bitcoin has behaved in the long term, then times like these would be the perfect moments for them to enter the market and start hodling. If the bull market though, then I would suggest to only invest a part, or not at all since you might just get swept by the hype (which is what happens most of the time to newbie investors).
That is something that "should" happen during bear times but unfortunately doesn't happen. It's a sad affair but when bitcoin price ends up being so low, people should be buying as much of it as possible and that would make it a lot more profitable for everyone and it would give a good return, but unfortunately people do not invest based on this, they get scared and get away from it during this period and that's a sad thing but a reality at the same time as well.

This causes the bear market to prolong itself and postpone the coming of bull run too. That is why it's a sad period, but eventually it will become something good one day.
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: October 03, 2022, 08:08:03 PM
I agree with your guess if Ajax and Napoli will score many goals, Barcelona will win against Inter Milan. But I don't agree with Juventus will win against Maccabi Haifa, both of this clubs are losing on their both matches, so it's a risky bet IMO. The reason why Juventus is huge favorite is because the popularity, Maccabi Haifa club are not known for many people, but if you looking on their performance, they have decent performance just like Juventus.

I think Benfica vs PSG are worth to bet Benfica to win here, their performance are good and the match will happen on Benfica's home, but Benfica is the underdog here.
You have really interesting choices.

I mean that I see no way for Juventus losing even two points against Maccabi Haifa in this game. They have finally made an improvement in their performance by their win in a league game. This must be pushing them to play even stronger against Maccabi Haifa. There is already a huge strength difference between these teams. Juventus should even be able to collect six points against them in both matches to maintain their chance to qualify from their group.

When it comes to Benfica - PSG game, I don't think Benfica can win this. They are playing decently indeed. But this is one of the most difficult matchups they can have in the Champions League. They are playing against one of the favourites of the title. Maybe PSG are the away team but I still think that they can defeat Benfica here. They would like to strengthen their lead in the group to finish the job earlier in the group stage.
I agree, Juventus will most likely win, I mean they have as much chance to lose as Real lost to Sheriff last year and won the UCL last season, anything could happen, there is "that" much chance of unexpected result of course, but I believe that Juventus is clearly the better team and smarter to bet on them.

I do agree however that Barcelona will beat Inter, that is not an easy game, and Inter will be fighting very hard to win but at the end of the day Barcelona built a team that is better and they should be getting a win out of that game. We will have to wait and see, it is not an easy decision and it is going to have a lot of trouble coming from behind it later on.
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I don't buy Polkadot now on: October 03, 2022, 09:22:23 AM
People are not entirely sure if it is the golden chance to buy it right now, it would be a bit weird if you felt so comfortable about it and tell people about how comfortable you are by investing right now. Obviously, altcoins are a bit riskier than bitcoin, which means that they could end up being not so high and that would be understandable as well.

I personally would suggest you to buy it as soon as you can, because you really believe in it, but if others do not then I would understand it as well. It is not an easy decision to invest into anything, doesn't matter what it is, and people grow with the idea that there isn't free money anywhere, so it is hard to accept the fact that it is a good looking project.
That's something people would have to deal with regarding DOT itself though. I mean I have 100% trust that bitcoin, ethereum and bnb will go up, that's something I trust very much, so much so that I am putting all my money in there at all times (whatever I can afford to save aside) and that means we shouldn't be shocked with some people adding DOT to that, some people add something else, we all have coins that we trust so much, and he could be trusting DOT as much as I trust bitcoin. There are also people who do not trust even bitcoin that much and sell with panic, that's something that happens all the time, so it's different types of people.
1505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 03, 2022, 04:59:22 AM
Broja is only 21 years old and is a promising football player. Chelsea should be able to add him to the team over time, I think. If they win Broja, they don't need a forward transfer. He has aged in Aubameyang and his performance will gradually decline. If there is a young and dynamic striker behind him, Chelsea will be most happy.
Broja is still young in the team and have a lengthy year to play football since he's tender. I think he's the backup striker for Pierre Aubameyang and the only thing left for him is to get familiar with playing big games and have have confidence on the pitch. That's where Graham Potter comes in, he needs to build Broja and get him to score goals for himself, all this will contributes to making him a genius in the team. I believe he will do an incredible striker for the blues if he's presented to open chances.
I feel like 21 years old is good enough to take the regions if you are good enough, and if you are not good enough at that age, then it is not going to be simple for you later on neither. Remember all the greats, when they were 21 years old, were they back up players for player at Aubameyang level?

I mean if it was 10 years ago, being the back up player of Aubameyang wouldn't be a problem, but he is not who he used to be, which means being his backup is not a good level to be. At 21 years old Broja needs to assert his dominance and show that he is the main striker for Chelsea, or he is just not good enough for them at all 2-3 years later neither. Just look at players like Mbappe or Haaland, and what they were doing at 21 years old, you would see the difference and understand why he is not enough at all.
1506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 02, 2022, 08:41:22 PM
Glad to see that as my prediction if roma would be winning in this match. Inter didn't consistent when it was playing on seria. The result from this match will give a huge pressure for inter caused by inter will be facing another big club like barcelona in the champion league. Im sure that inter will have bad performance like that in the champion league. Im sure that intermilan will be facing another lose again.
Taking lukaku from chelsea didn't change the performance from the team. Inter was still facing another lose.
Roma played very well, but I don't think it was better than Inter. And another disappointing moment was the canceled goal by Dzeko. If it wasn't for VAR, we don't know how this match would have ended. I have no doubts that Barcelona will beat Inter in the next Champions League match. Of all the statistics of face-to-face meetings between these clubs, Inter have won only twice - in 2010 and 1970.
Roma is going on that gradual level to being at the top of the table discussions thanks to Mourinho. He took over Roma because he knew that he would not be question as much there as he would be in other bigger name clubs. Thanks to this, he got transfers that would benefit his style, and with the first years trophy, they let him do whatever he wants and get whoever he wants within budget.

I know it sounds weird, like if it's within budget why would there be a problem? But owners and managers always get in fights who to get even if both options are within budget, here it is just Mourinho. Glad to see it's working and they did play good enough to beat after all.
1507  Economy / Economics / Re: Savings during inflation on: October 02, 2022, 06:21:42 AM
The thing you bought for 1000 ends up being 1100 next year after 10% inflation, which means you saved money but the question is will you be able to convince yourself that you wouldn't make more than that if you kept it? If you were going to spend on something else, or just keep it hidden in your house then it is better to buy that equipment, but if you want to buy bitcoin and hope that you could profit then you could turn your 1000 into 1500 dollars and spend that 1100 instead of 1000, and still have 400 left. That's the question people's minds.

Recently I purchased a PC and in my nation PC taxes are 100%, so I probably bought it by paying more than any of you, but it was a good deal because I am 100% sure that the price would go up a lot more than what I paid for it in a few months let alone a year.
There is a fine line between these two things. If you end up spending it, then you would be spending it at a moment when you know it will go up in price later on so it is easier to buy right now. But when you are investing into things knowing full on well enough that you are going to end up not using it, or not really have a place in your life, then it is better to save it.

So, you need to ask yourself this question very very well, will you be wanting it months, even a year down the line? If you do, then it is better to buy now and even make a debt, because you will buy it for more expensive price later on, so you should at least pay less right now, but if not then saving it is better.
1508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well! Bitcoin doesn't have this problem on: October 02, 2022, 04:03:11 AM
If we want to withdraw our deposit or money from the bank, certain banks may not be all banks because they also have administration and methods that are too complicated. Before we may receive our own money, we must go through a number of stages. They are quite simple in the procedure, in sharp contrast to when we desire to keep our money in the bank. In actuality, there are many other reasons why Bitcoin is superior to banks. However, it's also likely that only a small number of institutions provide such a feature. In general, I find that some commercial banks offer a simpler way to go about things than do government banks. But in Oklahoma or other places, things can be different.
I know this for sure, I decided to switch to a digital bank just because of this, because they do not care where you are sending your money. Obviously there is a 100k limit, but I have never had that much money in my life before so it shouldn't be a problem, aside from that I could move money around anyway I want without a problem.

Bitcoin came into my life before that, and I was having trouble with my bank and that is why I moved to bitcoin at first, because it gave me the freedom and it still gives me the same freedom internationally that no bank could give, there is nothing in the world similar to crypto when it comes to moving money around the world.
1509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's faceless identity is the greatest Bitcoin success strategy on: October 01, 2022, 07:48:33 PM
At least, Satoshi lived a low-profile life. He didn't want to attract publicity, after all (unlike Craig Wright). Bitcoin's creator planned things thoroughly to help protect the cryptocurrency's censorship-resistance at all costs. If he would've disclosed his identity from the start, Bitcoin wouldn't have been born today. Now it's too late to do anything about it, as Bitcoin has grown too big to fail. Governments are going to need to embrace the revolution or be left behind in the dust.

Cryptocurrencies with publicly-known founders/creators (eg: Ethereum) are in serious trouble as governments could prosecute them at will. Most projects reveal the team's identities to help attract VCs, but they're ultimately defecting to the regulators. Effectively, regulations would prevent crypto from achieving its full potential as censorship-resistant money anyone can use worldwide. It's a dark future ahead for altcoins, due to their decision to sacrifice decentralization/censorship-resistance in favor of cost-efficiency and high performance. With or without Satoshi, I think Bitcoin will last for generations thanks to the way it was designed. Just my thoughts Grin
That was the only way that it could actually survive. Remember when they found that old Japanese guy or something and assumed he would be the satoshi they were looking for and in the end it turned out that he wasn't at all but what he lived through even though he wasn't satoshi.

Now imagine if it was really him, dude would have been going from court to court rest of his life defending bitcoin and that would cripple bitcoin at all times. I am glad that he isn't known and we have no idea who he is, that is a lot better. I personally prefer it this way because this means we all own bitcoin, not just in the sense that we buy it, but more like we "own" it all together.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 01, 2022, 06:36:50 PM
It is no longer as easy as we thought. For Union Berlin to have 2 goals against them in the first half is a clear sign that today is not for them. Frankfurt has tactically outsmarted them. Also Frankfurt is good in defending, so they cannot conceive more than 2 goals in the second half.
Now Berlin has to have their first taste of defeat.
It was obvious that Frankfurt was the better team, people get fixated on the recent results and they end up with a bit of a problem on their minds at all times, I do not know why they are so stuck with the mindset of this situation because let’s be real we are talking about something that is not going to work out for the people who bet on union berlin just because of recent results.

You look at the general situation, let’s look at Bayern, they had a bad recent few games, do you end up betting against them because of that? Of course not, then why would you want to wager against Frankfurt? Or why bet for Union Berlin? Same mindset for sure.
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment projects ? on: October 01, 2022, 03:32:10 PM
Your investing goals determine the solution Investing in bitcoin could be a good alternative if you have one to two decades to spare Long term cryptocurrency investment requires a high risk tolerance Bitcoin's value fluctuates wildly They may collapse too Investor interest is expanding quickly with more than 21000 cryptocurrency coins and tokens Picking the correct balance to maximise long term profits is difficult under the best of conditions in a cryptocurrency bear market or crypto winter it's daunting find out which cryptocurrencies are the greatest long term investments this year These are the top five long term cryptocurrencies like BTC , ETH, ADA, DOT, LINK.
I would add BNB to it and remove Link, but that’s about the list I would offer to people as well. I still cannot see any problems with investing purely into bitcoin alone and nothing else, because that wouldn't be a bad decision for the long term neither, it will make people richer.

Obviously if you want to get rich super quickly then you would have to end up investing into something that is a bit more profitable, but at the end of the day there isn't anything that could be done quickly to get rich most of the time and it would be a big risk. Just bitcoin alone has no risk in my eye, if you ask me, it is as close to being guaranteed profit as it gets.
1512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be Palestine's currency of freedom?? on: September 30, 2022, 06:49:18 PM
I don't think we need to compare it to El Salvador and other countries that have embrace bitcoin and crypto as a whole. It really depends on how the country is going to used it, and if they it can be their currency of freedom then so be it. And it will really take years before some nation will adopt it as legal tender or alternative to their local currencies, and so it will be a big challenge and there are going to be obstacles along the way for Palestine, not be easy and so only in the future that we will know if they adapt this idea of bitcoin being 'currency of freedom' or not.
I agree, El Salvador is a nation that is having some financial difficulties but they do not have 50%+ of the population being kids because all the bigger ones are dead. I am not going to go into details of Israel and Palestine war, that’s something politicians do and not something we can discuss here and solve, that’s impossible.

But, it is easy to at least say that people in Palestine do not live an easy life, and while they are missing water or food to survive, it would be childish to assume that they could use a mobile phone in order to deal with bitcoin, it wouldn't be possible at all. So, it’s easier to assume they can't really use it for freedom.
1513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A single trading tool is not enough on: September 29, 2022, 01:05:10 PM
if you are trading alts other than btc, it is advisable to check the social media channels of these projects. as they will give you insights on where they are heading to. those indicators won't matter if the team is already on the verge of breaking up or should i say about to abandon the boat.
This is a wise advise for crypto traders that only rely on what they see to trade like using only technical analysis or graphs and never concern themselves with news or what is happening around the project. Like what happened with Luna coin could show us how some coins can just a surprise coming but as an insider, you can have the knowledge before it finally take serious effect on the coin. Reading about the coin that you are trading is very important like it is said here , some collaborators may be at the verge of disintegrating which will definitely affect the coin at the short or long time. Therefore joining the telegram groups is important for a serious trader .
Following up news is not an easy thing to do, which is why it's understandable for not every person to see what's going on. I personally believe that the best thing people could do regarding trade methods is that they should be checking both fundamentals but also the news, because that way you would know every aspect of it at all times and that's a good thing.

But if we are talking about just picking one, then I would assume that the best thing to do would be fundamentals, because it rarely upsets you and in the long run you will be profiting with it. Doesn't mean news are unimportant, it just a comparison of the two and one side is a bit more important while the other one is still important.
1514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance trading activity is 13x larger than any other exchange on: September 28, 2022, 07:14:34 PM
I think the main contributor to Binance had a huge lead in the trading volume over all other exchanges thanks to their main adamant about fake trading volume and washout trade. Binance has expressed many times they'll do anything to curb stomp things like that.
The amazing increasing trade volume on Binance is from their wise strategy to give away trading fee. With 0% trading fee, users have more reasons to trade and when they fall into the trap, trading volume increases organically and sustainably.

This increase recent months is also supported by recover of Bitcoin and crypto market in general. With less fear, people go trading more.
Let's not forget that people do have a tendency to go with the first one and do whatever they can with it. If you were asked to do a trade, would you do it on the exchange that is 1st and more than double the second, or would you prefer the second that has less than half of the trading volume?

This is just a question about first and second, when we consider third and fourth and all others, it's clear that being first means being the best most of the time and the main place people go to. Of course they weren't first at the start, and in order to get there they used both cheap trading fee, but also affiliate income as well, which gave them a huge boost at early days.
1515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to investigate and research new projects ? on: September 28, 2022, 09:12:00 AM
I often discover new projects for investors by studying crypto trends in social media groups. And after that, I will study the project information by visiting their website and studying the information in it carefully, especially the whitepaper. And this way always works for me.
and never settle for looking for the best information about the project we want to join until we are really sure to get involved, and also find out Who is the person behind this project?
Do they have a real team?
Do they solve real problems?
Do they make business sense in practical terms?
It’s true that you do not have to "discover" things yourself, you could find it from other people and that would help you out a lot. The reality is that if you will make a profit or not doesn't depend on discovering new things, you can find them anywhere you want. The real key is that you would make a profit based on how well you research the thing you discover.

Because at the end of the day, if you research in depth, then you will find a problem with it if there is one, if there is a problem and you couldn't see it, that means you didn't research it well enough. If you cannot find anything and there is none, then most likely it will go up.
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 27, 2022, 10:08:03 PM
I feel like it's not going to be that easy for Verstappen. I mean look at it this way, Hamilton used to win with 30+ seconds, sometimes as high as 1 minute difference to closest one. I remember very clearly the 2020 silverstone where he literally finished the last lap with one tire missing and still won, he was that much dominant.

Verstappen doesn't have that, sure he looks like the best one right now, but let's remember how it looked during first weeks of the season. Ferrari got worse, Mercedes got better, next season when both of those teams get it together they are going to be a tough opponent for Verstappen for sure. I don't see that kind of domination to be fair.
It's true that Red Bull doesn't have a car that dominating, they have a good car better than anyone else's and that's a good thing which allowed them to dominate this year, but their engine is just not that much better. We have seen Ferrari beat Red Bull many times, but we have seen Charles do a 3 time overtake on Max just on Austria alone, that was quite the entertainment we look for in formula 1.

So, I guess that between the previous examples we have seen, and the mistakes Ferrari made, it could have been a lot closer if everyone went Ferrari way and that's means Red Bull and Max is not dominating as much as Hamilton did with Mercedes.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Merge Success on: September 27, 2022, 08:59:50 PM
Ethereum Merge Is Done and considered successful, Do you think Ethereum has the solution Bitcoin needs and is this proof of ETH Next Of BTC after normal market?
Bitcoin and ETH, both are different coins with different benefits. So let's not compare them. This ETH merge was one of the most anticipated events of 2022 and it's great to see Vitalik did it quite successfully. I definitely feel bad for miners who had invested a lot into buying graphics card but pos mechanism will help ETH to grow further. Now even a small ETH holder will be able to mine it through pool mining. That's the essence of cryptocurrency for the mass.
Miners made as much money as they possibly can, and it was already known that merge would happen so any miner who wanted to get out and not be a miner anymore would have sold their GPU's long time ago. If you are still invested and still mining that means you were aware of what's going on and you still wanted to keep doing it with another coin I suppose.

ETH merge is definitely the biggest news of 2022, it was anticipated for many years now, and it's finally here, we haven't had a big bang yet about it, but I am sure that the future of ETH will be a lot more bright thanks to this situation, and I feel like we are going to see 10k+ ethereum not too long from now.
1518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach 45k before this year ends. on: September 27, 2022, 06:10:22 PM
Seeing the current market conditions is certainly very difficult to reach $ 45K again, even if the price of Bitcoin reaches $ 30k then I'm happy, the market is always difficult to guess so we must be wise when investing in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies.
It's not just about the difficult things that have to happen to be seen, but about how many people are able to survive while buying Bitcoin again in the current conditions. Because if someone still sells more Bitcoin at a cheap price like now, of course a bigger increase in Bitcoin is clearly difficult to happen.
Because some people still don't see Bitcoin as a valuable asset for them to keep forever.
Unfortunately there are still some people who are afraid to hold bitcoin and end up selling it when they see it go down. Whereas, a real investor would know that the best time to buy is right now, why? Because, it is not doing that great right now and that means we should be investing a bit more towards crypto in order to benefit from the bull run that will eventually come.

Will it be 45k this year? I have no idea, but I know for sure that it will be 45k eventually, which means that we should be investing now so we could more than double our money when the time comes and that will be the key to my financial success, well at least I hope it will be.
1519  Economy / Economics / Re: Flood causing economics crises on: September 27, 2022, 02:54:31 PM
Natural disasters will certainly change the economic system, many losses caused by natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or others, and my country is a country that is often affected by disaster, this is due to the many changes in forest functions into settlements and factories or production.
crisis is always there , even natural or man made still crisis will affect economy , there are lots of happening in the world but what we need to understand is that we are here to be ready and be functional in every crisis that we will cross in our life, the government cannot cover our losses so we are human has to do with this in early stages.
there are also flood happening and earthquake and even tsunami so what are the reason for us not to be having support when there is this kind ? it is our obligation so be ready.
We have faced something like that, and even though we are still facing the troubles of those days, we at least managed to survive it as humanity. Pandemic caused lockdowns and staying at home, but people who had to leave their homes for work reasons did so with care, and even though millions died around the world, we have seen humanity survive.

This means that flood, earthquake, pandemic, epidemic, or whatever else the world could throw at us, we could survive it as humanity. The only difference is being ready versus not ready, if you are not ready like we weren't for pandemic, then we are going to face inflations and recessions and many other economical problems.
1520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Banks on: September 26, 2022, 09:55:49 PM
The governments of our world have been looking towards a unicurrency and a cashless policy both of which bitcoin offers and to key in on this, they came up with CBDC but, it remains a second and centralized hence, it doenst fit as bitcoin which reduces its prioritisation in contrast to bitcoin.
Governments learn from communities. They learn from Bitcoin and stable coins to create their CBDCs. However, it does not change intrinsic inflation of currencies launched by governments. Governments create inflation and fiat currencies or CBDCs are only tools for them to launch more money supply to societies.

CBDCs will help governments to launch new money supply more quickly, more convenient and with less budget for factories, maintenance ...

CBDCs are more environmental friendly because less resources needed for them and last wastes are by-products.
They do learn from the stablecoins, but I wouldn't say that it's a bad thing, it's clear that they are doing something that would benefit them in the long run. It's going to be good because in the end we are talking about a situation where you would be buying the stablecoin of the governments, instead of buying the stablecoins of companies so there is no downside.

I still think that you should stay away from both of them, bitcoin is where it's at and you should always buy that instead, but you may want to wait for a better time to buy and think it will go down, during those times it's not a bad investment at all and feel like it would make sense for sure.
