1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto Exchange with liquidity that could dominate the crypto industry? on: December 16, 2020, 07:20:34 AM
Am not about knowing what exchange to dominate the continent or base on geopolitical sentiment am just looking at the exchange that suit my trading needs and give me the satisfaction that i required because at the end this is what matters the most, individual experience and encounter with each exchange is what count, and to me binance take the lead, coinbase has some limitations and zb.com i have never used, this is base own personal encounter.
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRANGE RISE PATTERN on: December 16, 2020, 07:11:29 AM
@OP is trying to miss things up or just haven't been observant of the market movement of xrp and other alts, perhaps op can give instances where xrp price rise without the influence of btc, it is was a common tradition (until recently) that when btc rise in btc it will affect alts to rise as well, and like others already mentioned the thing about xrp recent price pump was as a result of the airdrop announcement otherwise xrp price movement is similar to other alts nothing special,
you don't need to panic sell your coins if you bought during the pump, just hold and wait for the next announcement  Cheesy
1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: December 15, 2020, 11:28:40 AM
Clearly the @op is on a dream land  Cheesy i wouldn't want to wake him from his dreams just yet, i don't know what gives the op such confidence that polk will be killing eth, anyways can't stop op from wishing, eth is a well establish project with millions of real users, do you even know the number of projects on the ethereum blockchain!
it will be very hard for polk to compete with that to the point of killing it.
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Base protocol trying to rip bounty hunters on: December 15, 2020, 09:18:01 AM
Don't expect any explanation, they already send what they feel the bounty hunters deserve and done with it, those guys are certainly shady and should be tag even more (although won't resolve anything ) they have already ripped hunters off, the reason why i didn't promote the campaign, the negligence of the so-called bounty manager was not very okay with me, hunters will have to accept their faith, i guess half bread is better than none in this case.
1505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HEX is your last chance at a 10000x crypto. on: December 15, 2020, 08:18:07 AM
The current HEX is starting to grow faster and making a very good price increase in fact this is a real opportunity for all traders to buy because when the price is below it is a very good time to buy and that too several days the hex will experience a much higher price increase. I myself am also trading and buying HEX at $ 0.0032 and selling at $ 0.0042 and I will wait for the HEX price to drop again to buy more. This is a good opportunity.
As you say it's increasing and growing faster. That's not an ideal time to buy if it's keep increasing.
1000x looks strange thing and it will never happen but when hex can touch 0.01 and it's more than enough.
Most alt projects say that strange claim.

Probably am looking at a different market than what the above user is looking, hex price has appreciate a little this few days but not as exaggerated as the user make it, it could be the price will appreciate eventually but lets not forget this is a huge supply project and the possibility of given such percentage the @op speculate is near impossible, realistically i think it would be hard to expect such returns again,
am not being negative just trying to see things as they are.
1506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this even normal? on: December 15, 2020, 07:29:31 AM
This is not so normal, I think this project will end up not paying any bounty hunters, let's wait till 48hours and see what happens, it's very rare in this type of cases for such team to keep their promise, hiding spreadsheet and blocking bounty group them distribution isn't over is 👎👎👎👎, the foot print the team left with their first project is why I don't bother to promote base protocol, they claimed they refund their investors but not completely

I have the feeling they are going to pay because they wouldn't want the accusation made about them being untrusted to be true, their account already have a red trust which is not a good thing,

What I think they want to do with this behaviour is to short pay participants, if you look at their post on Telegram bounty chat, the first post says bounty pool is "37030.31365 BASE, split across the different campaigns"  while the second and recent Post says "There were a total of 30703 BASE allocated for the bounty" what happens to the remaining 6,327 base  Shocked,
My guess is they will manipulate the payment and try to avoid any confrontation which is why they put the bounty group on restriction.

I guess you were right after all, now it has been confirmed from this post that the bounty was paid but team cleverly shot paid hunters, the reason why both the spreadsheet and telegram bounty group was locked and restrict access for any confrontation, and the reason why they have 2 different bounty pool amount, it was a deliberate attempt,
they were accused of fraudulent behavior of their past project where they failed to refund to investors, well it appears a leopard will never leave it spots.
1507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and airdrops at the end of 2020 on: December 14, 2020, 07:36:35 AM
Thanks for the answer! After reading one of the comments that said  400$ (per year) is the maximum for beginners, i become frustrated. So i want to believe this is not true. Even if I can make 200$ from it per month, this is already a huge success for me.

Don't let me rain on your parade buh $200 with your current rank.... nah, on a different note though this could happen depending on how determined your are and if you have experience in content writing and social media campaigns,
since you are still a newbie in the forum, signature is out of the talk, if you have good number of followers on twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn then you could participate in this campaigns with your newbie account, (although some bm don't accept newbie in this campaign sometimes so you need to earn at least 1 merit to rank you up to jr member)
it all depend on your determination, and mind you - always read and follow forum rules, bounty campaign is not a bed of rose Grin.... welcome onboard.
1508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Never expect any big boom in ETH 2.0 on: December 14, 2020, 07:23:53 AM
For me ETH 2.0 means pos instead of POW so basically the gas fee may go down lowering the transaction fee
So prices can go on a couple of counts
1) People hodl 32 eth to earn staking rewards
2) More projects move to ETH 2.0 more adoption would translate to more demand for eth2.0
Just my thought

Yeah, perhaps people looking to earn reward from staking eth now that it has the pos features will probably hold, if the staking reward is attractive it will attract more investor to buy eth to stake, it will increase the demand, reduce the selling or trading pressure and eventually translate to price,
more project can move to eth 2.0 if the scalability issue as being resolve to the barest minimum, the network is bale to perform better even under an increase in work load because the more the adoption from new project, the more the work load.
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: When Will Bitcoin Hit $20,000? on: December 14, 2020, 07:12:51 AM
I don't have idea that cmc have such events , thanks for sharing it here .

In addition can I ask if you need to be KYC verified before you can  claim your winnings ?. I have an account in binance but not yet verified is it ok to participate even your account is not verified?

I just saw that its only asking for binance id .

Assuming you are the winner or among the winners of the event and you need make withdrawal through your unverified binance account, i think you will only be able to withdraw the limit of an unverified account and not exceed that limit, this my just my assumption they may probably require kyc from winner(s) since it is an event and totally different from being a binance user.
1510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this even normal? on: December 13, 2020, 09:50:28 AM
Guys is any of these normal?

1. Admin close down bounty group after bounty ends

2. Admin failed to update spreadsheet and gives stakes to participants and later block access to the spreadsheet

This is what base protocol team did to their promoters, all those that participate in signature campaign aren't rewarded any stakes and they can't even look at spreadsheet, bounty group is closed too so anyone can't complain and yet the team said they will make distribution in the next 42 hours

It is somewhat normal to close bounty group if they feel it will generate lots of attention and rift among bounty participants but not very cool to also lock the spreadsheet denying participants access to review their stakes and reward to acknowledge everything is as expected,

I saw some members already pointed it out on the bounty thread so am hoping the admin will reconsider and open the spreadsheet for review and also open the bounty group for complaint of missing stakes which I know will occur.
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If all state banks will make their own cryptocurrency. on: December 13, 2020, 09:43:16 AM
Lets assume such thing will happen then it won't be any different from the way each country have their own fiat currency, it will of course be in the form of stable coin with less volatility, each country will operate using their respective digital currency and also recognise that of other countries for easy transaction.
It won't create any competition since nobody will be investing on it for profit maximisation,  rather it will be a currency for transaction only.
1512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many old coins are dead and abandoned by the developer, WHY? on: December 13, 2020, 09:28:45 AM
Especially those project where the team are mostly anonymous, no trace of identification which means very easy to abandoned one project and quickly jump into another and continue deceiving people,
It is important know the team behind a project has genuine interest for that project enough to make them stay and support the project long term or as long as required,
Yeah we have many abandoned project around because the dev have probably move on to a new project or just simply abandoned the project and took funds live a good life.
1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴[BOUNTY][GAE NETWORK]🔴|GAME Decentralized|50,000 GAE = $50,000 Pool Reward on: December 12, 2020, 07:24:01 AM
You don't even know the right section to post your bounty thread, go to the bounty section and post there, perhaps you should move this thread there.
1514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of the project depends on the project developer himself! on: December 12, 2020, 07:13:04 AM
The success of a project does not depend on the developer alone mate, if it does, then there will be a lot of successful projects cus I believe no developer wants to start a project and fail on purpose,
The success of a project is tied to Many factors and this factors are all focused on one common goal, "success of the project", if one part does its job well and the other part fail in its duties, there's a chance the project might still end up a failure, and to give you a hint of what I mean, community is very essential to the success of any project just like the developers is.

I disagree on the statement " I believe no developer wants to start a project and fail on purpose" why! Because to me it seems you are including those scammers in the equation,

Those developers with the intention to succeed will work hard together with the support of their supporters to see the project succeed,
That school of thought does not applies to those scumbags who develop a project solely to scam investors on a short term period,

Developers are of different category, you separate the good from the bad, not making a general statement that will classify all as same, because they are not.
1515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will never replace fiat cash. on: December 12, 2020, 06:54:39 AM
Bitcoin is not competing to replace fiat and moreover this topic has been discussed here over hundred times, neither bitcoin nor any other crypto coin can ever replace fiat as crypto has its own base which runs parallel to fiat and regardless of adaptability rate of bitcoin there will be set of users who will never switch from fiat to any other payment method.

A crypto everyone mines at the same rate will replace fiat.  People will opt into a fairly generated supply.  Merchants won`t accept fiat in the future, my 600 acre farm already does not.

Am guessing you are from the future 🤔 and from there you already saw what crypto everyone will accept, since I don't think anyone has ask you yet about it, let me have the privilege to ask.....
what is this crypto everyone will mine at the same rate that will replace fiat?
Can you share a name or net yet in existence? Am just curious to know because it seem you already have an idea what that crypto will be by using "mark my word" as point of assurance.
1516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Wallet Regulations: A damn good time to be paranoid on: December 12, 2020, 06:46:23 AM
I don't think it applies to the older folks only, many traders have their funds on exchanges for easy access, and before anyone pointing out dex trading remember the volume is not comparable, although not enough excuse to leave funds on exchange, better to have control of your funds to avoid future uncertainties.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any comment about WOZX ? on: December 11, 2020, 07:39:18 AM
Be very careful, everyone. Even how the team behind the project is famous or how powerful in a particular field, there are still a lot of possibilities that the project will be failed or be abandoned, it is already proven with previous projects. I am not a hater here, just be careful, especially these days, Bitcoin already made a new all-time-high, a lot of people are eager to get your Bitcoin.

All investment comes with a risk though, it is a good thing to warn people to take precaution but at the same time it is not such a bad idea to take a look at the tech and team of this project, i just feel like a guy as popular as wozniak won't want to ruin his reputation over any form of scandal, there are some big shot backing this project which is another thing to consider,
once upon a time people was very skeptic about a coin named "bitcoin" but today it is the most trusted digital coin that will ever exit, same goes to the so called top 100 coins on cmc that we all love to recommend,  there is no harm in doing due diligent and same time open to new opportunities.
1518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop by if you are a PayPal user on: December 10, 2020, 08:29:39 AM
If you are a PayPal user and your account got blocked why trading crypto please kinda drop comment on here, the reason why I bring this up is because of I still find it hard to believe that PayPal is blocking users account for no reason sake, PayPal is after money and they knew that implementing crypto will bring them huge money, they won't want to chase away their customers and ruin their reputation, they know about better crypto exchanges out there, the competition is real

My question to you is... is your account got blocked by PayPal for trading crypto or you just making this post base on what you read and not what you experience?
i do have an account with PayPal but just for my personal usage only so i can't say much about trading experience since i don't use it for that, besides, PayPal has always been known for blocking accounts for any slightest irregularities and it does not necessarily be accounts related to crypto trading only only, probably this accounts are violating some of the rules regarding trading by PayPal or so, for them to block this accounts there must be a good reason.
1519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any investment opportunity that ETH2.0 brings? on: December 08, 2020, 08:55:53 AM
Eth 2.0 has been anticipated to addresses some of the issues the ethereum network is facing and which i believe has already been activated, although this are the early stage of it hence it will be a bit difficult to tell what the impact will be as regard to scalability,
and as for the impact it will have on investors, the only thing that comes to mind is the staking function and being a validator, as an investor with the right amount of eth to stake it will generate extra income for your investment.
1520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: **family survives 40 countries living only on Bitcoins** on: December 08, 2020, 08:41:41 AM

He didn't cut his hair because there was nobody to do it for Bitcoin? Ever heard of a hair clipper? It costs like $20 and can run on batteries.

I guess he was trying to experience cutting his hair and paying for it with bitcoin 😏

Or probably the clipper can not be bought using btc, if they can buy other stuff with btc i assume they can also get a clipper with btc except of course this item can not be found in a btc acceptance store,

in any case, am just trilled to see such a btc enthusiastic family who truly live and dedicate their lives to the cause, it is very easy for many people to say they love btc, but am sure it will be most difficult to live it (i.e using only btc to make payment) especially when it is not universally accepted yet. kudos to this family.
