Australian multi-service bitcoin company digitalBTC will make history today as the first bitcoin-focused company to trade on a major mainstream stock exchange.

It's a very interesting story. They have already mined at least 5100 BTC, and have said they want to release a BTC debit card, and create applications that use BTC. http://www.digitalbtc.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/03/digitalBTC-Trading-and-Market-Update.pdf
The executive chairman of the company Zhenya Tsvetnenko has already enjoyed significant success in other tech ventures.

weekend he not online , he have family need , He can't working 24/7.
Fair enough. I actually don't think it's ascam. I guess I'm just frustrated to see Monero doing so well, and the QCN price struggling.

But maybe that can change if a *team* does come together. It would be nice to see some details. Smiley

Well the developer has gone missing again, which is a concern . He came and made a vague comment then vanished without giving any details/.

I can give some QCN to new team members if they are good Smiley
1507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unmoderated XC thread on: June 15, 2014, 06:27:49 AM
Chaeplin doesn't want to create bad publicity for DRK.

Admitting he can't crack XC 1.5 with multipath would be like shooting himself in the foot cos DRK is vulnerable to the pattern matching techniques.

Just wait until word gets out.

Let the word get out - no one wants their coins stolen by the existing solution.

NO ONE CARES ABOUT XC ANYMORE
Thats what they said about Bitcoin

I have completely wrong with the following thought.
Quote
Xnode will not reuse output from previous used address for mixing in normal circumstance.
Because Xnode issue a new address to xnode user, and spend it once later.

Address is reused, cause Xnode users send various amount to Xnode.

That address will be used as multiple input.
Thanks Chaeplin. It's not clear what you are saying , to me.
Would you be able to write your point in your first language and we can get someone to translate. Just so there is no misunderstanding.
Thanks

They will start work next week, I found a great team.
Who is in the team? Is anyone here in the team?
1510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XC][OFFICIAL] X11/PoS/Privacy on: June 14, 2014, 01:54:30 PM
constant drk namedropping has to stop, its bringing trolls in the thread polluting it which results in an unatractive environement for new investors , don't you get this.
plus its a sign of weaknes. XCs goal isn't beating drk, its beeing the best solution for privacy in crypto no matter the competition. concentrate your enthusiasm and efforts on XC not other coins.
+1

Oh man Grin this is the reason XC is treated with such animosity from Darkcoin. Post's like these.
XC is not treated with animosity from Darkcoin.

In RC3, might be possible on changes, not on payment.
In RC4, My method will be useless on both changes and payment.
Excuse my ignoarnce but what is RC3 and RC4?
Thanks again...you are a great help

Why will you method be useless by then?
And thanks again

I tend to trade off charts, so often need help understanding the tech details. That's all.
And at this moment XMR looks like it breaking to new levels on the chart...I just added to my position Smiley
1514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 14, 2014, 05:37:30 AM
I own Monero, but have never been to this thread. I saw someone say that "scaling issues" could potentially be an issue. Is there somewhere I can see this issue defined and  addressed? Thanks and peace to all  Smiley
I'm guessing whoever said that was shilling for DRK or some such, or you are.
I was buying dark on C-CEX when they were more than 10 times cheaper, but don't own any now, Smiley (I might buy them again) Just trying to understand all these coins
But I found this...so all good Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.msg6662938#msg6662938
1515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero (MRO) Speculation thread on: June 14, 2014, 05:25:23 AM
MRO cannot scale for real world use. It's already dead in the water.

It's having bloat issues already.

Can you explain this? I don't know what this means..  Thanks  Smiley

I am not interrested in Dev's challenge.

Dev has refused to acknowledge the existence of hard link.

So, I am not interrested.
I think you were able to link them, or some of them, but I guess it depends what a "hard link" is. That term is not necessarily clear.
I think he wanted "proof" which would be able to be used even with many more transaction.

Do you think your method would have worked with thousands of different transactions rather than a smaller number, even if you had an analysing tool?
1519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 14, 2014, 04:08:14 AM
I'm the QuazarCoin dev, I'm working and there are people who helps me with promotion and merchants.
What is happening promotion and merchant wise?

They will start work next week, I found a great team. Would you like to help us?
Maybe. What help do you have and what do you need?

Or are you just an MRO fan?
Lol..that's a bit below the belt  Smiley. I own a few and am likely to buy more if it keeps going well. But, I own a few QCN too.

So I notice our friend Chaeplin, is doing a lot of talking in the other XC topic and his criticisms fall into two categories below which I respond to here:

1. Xnodes could in theory "steal" XC.

Answer: My understanding is that Rev 2 will have a trust learning algorithm and the dev has said coins cannot be stolen.
He said IIRC "mixers don't steal coins" . People do Smiley No problem if all parts of the tx's go on the same block.
Quote
However if we look at DRK, I believe they use signatures which removes the incentive for mixer nodes to steal the mixed coins. Why don't we also do that ON TOP of the trust learning algorithm? Then we have the best of both and that completely destroys the argument.
Can you ealborate. I'd love to get this clear. In the unmod thread it is being claimed IIUC that DRK just witnesses  and verifies the transaction, which is different to there just being an incentive not to steal, while having the ability to. I'm just asking here and trying to learn and I'm not very tech savvy.

Quote
2. XC transfer is not anonymous and can be linked

Answer: Dev has an open challenge right now that hasn't been solved yet, based on the new multi-path protocol. I'm confident in the devs ability. I would also be interested to see whether Chaeplins methods can be applied to DRK?
In its present form, the XC mixer, like coinjoin  leaves some trail, and if there are only a few transactions to choose from the possibility of guessing is greatly improved. At least that's how I understand it.

Chaeplins method or one similar could be applied to DRK IIUC, because even though the coins get mixed there is still some information, some clues, but again IIUC it's not the "hard link" that Dan the dev asked for. I think Kristov Atlas has something that can be applied to DRK to do just that

I'd love to hear the thoughts of other to see if i've misunderstood.
Peace to all  Smiley
