1501  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 22, 2014, 09:28:52 PM
No, I am just human... Humans make mistakes... AMT is run by humans... But that is irrelevant to the volume of useless allegations that still persist to be "thrown in peoples faces"... (Multiple times, I might add, reposted from post to post, and thus, slanderous. That is not just, "do what you like with this information"... That is harassing them, and us. We sat it the first five times it was posted.)

I see lots of half-ass collected information about photos, and obvious things about being around the world... But complete oversight/ignorance to the actual facts.

So you are right... they are not in PA, the list of shipped items is all fake, even bitmine.ch is in on the whole elaborate scam... Creating fake chips that only pretend to work, making videos that are all obviously magic smoke and mirrors, and the many real-life photos that must be photo-shopped. You got us... There is no spoon...

You preach for us not to trust AMT, yet provide no credentials as to why we should trust you.

So... What good reason, if any, would we have to trust you? I already know why I trust AMT, before I gave them my funds, and still after.

Oh, because you have no intentions, except to save the world from the evil AMT Freemasons. Mind if I ask what miners you own and support? Obviously not AMT's. And thus, your credentials and words become even less valuable, by that simple fact... even less valuable if you admit that you don't even own a miner.

If you have some solid proof of fraud, then take it to an authority. However, the presented crap is just that. At the moment, all credible proof I see, is in AMT's favor. (Not favorable, but in their favor, as being legitimate.)

What reasons do you have to trust AMT? Please, enlighten me. Because they have a website and 2 videos? Because they took your money? Because they posted a photo of some chips and a few cases?

Every facet of AMT being a legitimate U.S business looks shady. Your way of dealing with people that bring this information to light, is to insult them - then back AMT with "they are trying their hardest". A speculative statement brought upon by what? Do you have some insight about AMT's operations that makes you feel so confident? If so, please share it with the thread in an effort to make everyone feel better.

You have also made this personal. I shouldn't have to prove anything to you, and vice versa. I don't care what kind of miners you currently operate, or what your history is in this industry. We're here talking about whether or not AMT is going to deliver their orders - THAT'S IT!

Your excuses for AMT's numerous errors is "humans make mistakes". That might somehow excuse their manufacturing and shipping delays, but it doesn't excuse the utter lack of professionalism exhibited by AMT in this thread. If there are circumstances which create delays, they should be updating us either by email or this thread. We all understand the industry, but what is compounding the problem is their lack of communication with their customers and insulting posts towards their customers. If AMT is legitimate, then they are by far the worst company I have ever seen in terms of business ethics and treatment/respect of their customers.

They are treating CLENELL like shit and he's a paying customer simply requesting updates on what's going on. Instead of addressing the delays, they'd rather hop on here and insult him, and demand he remove amazon reviews if he wants his refund. This is ridiculous. What legitimate businesses operate this way? It isn't far fetched at all to believe CLENNEL's story about them not taking credit card's - their website says they accept CC/Paypal, but in actuality they don't. Every promised update from AMT has been missed, what is your reasoning for this (humans make mistakes)? I simply want AMT held accountable.

If they just took CC's from the beginning this could of all been avoided. We the consumers, would have some form of protection from the possibility of fraud or non delivery : but that isn't the case. Everything with AMT seems to be bait & switch, if they do not take CC/Paypal - perhaps it's time they removed that from their website.

No one wants this to be a scam. No one wants to throw this in the faces of others. Accept this, and try to be proactive about getting real answers and updates with others here in this thread. AMT can defend themselves should they choose, they do not need you to do it for them.

FRICTIONLESSCOIN: You might find yourself making that trip to PA to get your refund in the near future. Why don't you stop and think about what you are saying before you decide to cannabilize CLENELL. He hasn't done anything wrong in my eyes.
1502  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 22, 2014, 07:21:36 PM
This is one reason I tried to avoid posting my opinions here because that is all they are.

This is a public forum, the point is to post opinions... You would have not been doing anything wrong, by posting your thoughts. (As long as they were not slanderous or harmful in nature.)

(Hell, If I was held accountable for my thoughts and opinions... {Which I might add, change by the minute}... I fear to think of the repercussions they would return.)

Clenell, what you are doing, in my opinion, seems slanderous and extortion/blackmale in nature. Just saying... I think you should really step back a second, take a few breaths, and focus on non-public attacks. (To a situation that you clearly admit, "you have no information about, due to lack of updates." Thus, all your actions are premature and speculative paranoia and assumptions. That will not bode well in any defense, legally or from a civil perspective. There are better ways to do things, this is not one of the better ways.)

P.S.  Phinnaeus Gage, you are an idiot... Web-hosts are world-wide. Mail-servers are world-wide. IP's are no longer "limited" to countries. They stopped selling blocks years ago, and most have been resold to other locations, irrelevant to the original "assigned blocks". (Not to mention IPV4->IPV6 conversion services, which don't relay the origins of IPV6 addresses from the conversion. They relay the converting node IP.) Stop playing detective. You are not a detective. There is not only one Joshua Zipkin in the world, I am sure that one is annoyed at you posting his information. There are over 14 people with my same exact "full name", that I have no relationship with. (Though I do look like one of them, a little.) Having a web-host, and thus, being associated with multiple domains, hosted on a shared-server, is what 80% of the current web-sites do. My own websites are shared among over 3000 others, that I have no direct or indirect ties to. (Seems I am in Europe too... Yet, amazingly I live in the USA Florida, and the actual server is located in USA Texas. OMG world-wide-web howz-it werk? Who-knew!) Go back to your corner with your ghetto sleuthing ability.

ISAWHIM - YOU are the idiot. You know I wanted to like you, because in some aspects you seem like an intelligent guy - but the more I read coming from you, the more it's obvious you're just an AMT sympathizer - and for no good reason too. You would defend AMT while they were smothering you to death, you're that much of a shill.

Pull your head out of your ass and realize that guys like Augusto, Bruno, and I have absolutely nothing to gain by bringing up these facts about AMT. We are concerned about our own investments as well as the communities'. Unfortunately, it's guys like you that make me think "you know, I hope AMT is a scam because I wouldn't mind seeing that kiss ass ISAWHIM get ripped off" - because you deserve it for how you've gone about defending AMT for no good reason.

Same goes for you FRICTIONLESSCOIN: You want everyone with concerns about AMT's dodgy business, to shutup and hope for the best: and why? Because you want to sell your miners as soon as you get them! Every post of yours includes details on how people should 'hit you up to buy your miner'. If you had such faith in AMT, you wouldn't be trying to sell your spots preemptively and recoup your funds. I believe you are just trying to break even at this point, and you don't care what the real deal is. Your attempts to get the community to further trust AMT isn't based on the communities' best interest, but your own.

There is no question that the Joshua Zipkin (man in the pictures) is the same guy who is running AMT. I could give a shit whether he wants his photo posted up all over these forums, he should of thought of that before starting AMT and conducting business the way he has. Josh made this very personal when he started posting peoples' real names in this thread as a bully tactic. I will make it a personal mission to fuck this guys life up if he screws anyone out of their miners or $. I don't give a shit where he goes or what he does, I will post his ugly ass all over the internet and make him known to the world as the piece of shit scumbag thief that he is.

Once again: Augusto, bruno, puppet, RickJames, Biomech, etc. - anyone that has reasonably questioned these fishy facts about AMT - thank you for bringing common sense to the table and being REAL about things. The rest of you guys that have been overly-positive towards AMT for your discount, or hopes that it will get you your miner faster - FUCK OFF. The community doesn't need deluded people like you.

Thanks for your insight, but because some of the photographs were taken in that location in Bulgaria - doesn't necessarily tie the owners of AMT to that particular place.

It might be better time spent looking further into data on ownership of AMT and collecting more information on both Joshua Zipkin and "Jim Brown".

And just to mention this, but didn't anyone find it ODD that they would offer 5 to 10% off hardware purchases in exchange for 'fighting trolls' in this thread. Seems like a ridiculous thing for a legitimate company to do. This was just one of MANY warning signs.

I am still hopeful they ship the machines out and not turn this into a major fraud.
1504  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 22, 2014, 04:08:36 AM
I've never seen legitimate companies act the way these fools do.

that makes two of us. it's unreal how unprofessional these clowns are.

I like how we are all referring to these guys as AMT - like they are some legitimate business with numerous employees. EVERYTHING POINTS TO THIS AS A 2 MAN OPERATION. Just because they have some part time help or friends, the person financially accountable for this debacle is the founder of AMT (JOSHUA ZIPKIN). I like how he'd downplayed his role/involvement with AMT in this thread (look back).

They have some rented office space in Pensylvania. Big fucking deal. Anyone can rent out some office space in an attempt to prove they are legitimate. So what if AMT goes under? Well, no need to worry! They are incorporated and likely have limited liability!

AMT is composed of 2 people:

JOSHUA ZIPKIN(FOUNDER / THREAD POSTER)

http://www.crunchbase.com/person/joshua-zipkin
http://vk.com/joshzipkin

and

JIM BROWN(TECHNICAL SUPPORT PHONE/EMAIL BITCH)

From all the videos we've seen, it's been Joshua Zipkin representing AMT - including this thread, he has been posting here as AMT_MINERS.

I advise everyone to keep emails exchanged with these guys and even copy them to this thread so everyone can see.

These guys need to be held accountable for their actions (or inaction I should say). At the end of the day, Joshua can fly back to Bulgaria with everyone's money while we sit here in the U.S waiting for miners to arrive. Read the past posts in the thread started by Augusto Croppo, there is a lot of aspects of their business that is shady.

Thanks for digging into this for us Augusto - you are an asset to this community.

Note the e-mail address attached to the paypal account I sent payment to way back.....

Hey every one!,

I'm new here. I wanted to pass some information that I found during my search in seeing if this company is a scam or not. I found their flicker stream. I then downloaded their photos and ran each image in exif tool i( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exchangeable_image_file_format). They uploaded it with their cell phone. This gave us a GPS location where these photos were taken. I have also included a google map where this GPS data takes you.

Guys,

Calm down. We shot the video yesterday and its at the video product company being formatted and what nut.

Most people these days own a smartphone. These devices can be used to capture photographs. Then you can post said photograph to a free website like http://imgur.com/. The whole process takes about 30 seconds. You should consider hiring someone with a modern technology skillset.

I don't believe a word of this. It's amazing they expect us to believe that they are manufacturing bleeding-edge technology, but don't have the means to put photos and videos together themselves to update the user-base.

It's a crock of shit if you ask me.

How about a photograph AMT? Or does that need to be 'resized and prepared' by a production company for you to post them up?
1506  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 21, 2014, 10:30:15 PM
Funny - one post from AMT and everyone is back to kissing their asses.

Please let us know if anyone receives tracking numbers for their miners.

I also think it is illegal to not give someone a refund until they remove reviews made of their company. THAT is blackmail. Everyone has the right to leave reviews however they see fit; regardless of what happens in reality.

AMT's responses in this thread have been nothing short of pathetic.
1507  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 21, 2014, 04:07:42 AM
That doesn't mean they will make their deadlines exactly, because optimism is really an infectious disease in this industry.  But with chips in hand, software working, and ample time for AMT to do board design and assembly, it should mean they will be close.

So, can we all just quit the whining and treat AMT with respect, at least until they do something to deserve disrespect (other than not responding instantly to every silly allegation here).

Best regards,

8cyls

Your over-optimism isn't going to help put everyone here at ease.

You HAVE to admit they have been ridiculous when it comes to updating us on what's going on. Nothing is ever solid coming from them.
1508  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 20, 2014, 11:37:28 PM
Still waiting to see if Grumpybeargirl received their check...

Also, anyone else that has had communication with anyone from AMT in the few days - please let us know.

1509  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 20, 2014, 09:49:53 PM
How come you guys didn’t buy direct from Bitmine?  I am asking because I am not decided to buy from AMT or just go to the source for end of March delivery as per Bitmine site.  Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

they have delivered small miners. however, they have not delivered any of the 1.2TH machines. they also do not answer phone calls, emails or PM's on this site. not even a picture exists of this elusive 1.2th machine.

Jim has answered a purchasing question I had through email. But I was a prospective client still holding on to my coin.  I do have a  Babyjet from Hashfast, I am not at all impressed with the technology. Still 1 wattish per GH at the wall. I would have been better off to keep buying Bitfury.  Pehaps I am going to sit this one out for now.

due to a high call volume AMT asks that you leave a message!

Maybe some in the PA area can go by their office to make sure they haven't packed up and left town?
1510  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 20, 2014, 08:53:03 PM
I spoke with a lawyer, on the phone, who supposedly deals with consumer protection law (they are hard to find).  i will speak with him face to face next week and discuss what my options are. i sent the email below to AMT.

Jim or AMT miners,

I believe the best manner in which to handle any situation is to be proactive. Try, try, try and if you don't succeed well at minimum you did your best. Well, I have tried and tried to be patient with you folks. I've been, to say the least, diligent in my efforts to contact AMT and get delivery information. You are not responding to emails and your phones are not being answered. Additionally AMT has been unwilling to respond to my questions posted on bitcointalk.org. What I am not going to do anymore is sit back and hope for the best. I will be pursuing legal council. I have been billed for merchandise not received. Additionally, you have made no reasonable offer to make good on payment for order #610 (1.2TH bitcoin miner).

Craig Lenell

I really am not going to sit by idly while AMT burns off with my money. Something just doesn't ring true with these guys anymore. Better to act now and maybe be wrong than to sit by and do nothing only to find out later your intuition was correct. I will let folks know what i learn as this plays out. I never thought in the beginning it would play out like this.

If AMT doesn't deliver, there is quite the list of potential clients found https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=463922.0

I'm sure we'll be more concerned with getting our money back - let's hope that isn't the case.

1511  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 20, 2014, 08:00:38 PM
Try sending an email to sales@advancedminers.com That is what I did and they responded.

emails are sent to jim@, alyson@ and the sales@ miners addresses. they are very selective who they respond to and it's just too tiresome to stress over anymore.

I suspect they are communicating with certain people to put their minds at ease; mostly those that haven't inquired before. Them, and new prospective customers that they want to secure funds from.

I hope they get back to you soon, otherwise legal action should be the course of action for all of us.

This lack of communication is inexcusable - I don't care how little business or customer service experience AMT has: responding to customers in a timely fashion is common sense that cannot be excused anymore. Even an HONEST amateur in ANY industry, would be able to effectively communicate with their investors.
1512  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 20, 2014, 05:26:44 PM
/facepalm

... like clockwork every time something derogatory is posted someone with 1-2 posts comes on this board and tells everyone to calm down, relax, feel sorry for AMT, they are doing their best. If your "best" job doesn't allow you answering SIMPLE DELIVERY QUESTIONS you are a failure. i gave these guys $6000 and they wont take multiple phone calls, they wont answer multiple emails or questions i have posted on this thread about my order. they wont even answer PM's on this board. this is blatant asshole behavior. i'm sick of pussy footing around with these guys! im very close to contacting an attorney. guess what pal i dont have my miner! and as far as im concerned im out the $6000 dollars i wired them. these guys aren't even rank amateurs! they intentionally ignore people who have given them a tremendous amount of money for what reason? they are tired of giving customer service? they are thieves? what is it? at this point im sad to say i dont know.

HERE, HERE!

EVERYONE PULL THEIR HEADS OUT OF THEIRS ASSES AND DEMAND ANSWERS FROM AMT!
1513  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 20, 2014, 07:01:23 AM
I have checked out this thread for the longest time, seeking update. To all the people who have kept the thread alive and interested for the longest time thanks a ton. I am just as eager if not more than all you other AMT clients, but lets give those guys a breather to fix what ever it is that they need to fix and ship the units out. I understand that to some of you the money you invested might be all you have and even if it isnt, its not like any one wants to lose money.

In my interaction with AMT so far i am confident that they arent a scam company, now they are extremely rough on the client interaction part. But they are legit, we all have held on for this long, let just give them a bit more and provide them with a little breathing space. Our attitude cant help in speeding things up for them, even thought the attitude originate from the lack of communication from their side.

Thanks to everyone who agrees , and for every one who doesn't, i guess i see your point too ( as i too want a final resolution to this whole thing)

1 post? longest time? gtfo here.

so, no updates, no videos, no shipments, NOTHING. give them a breather? fuck off.

No shit. Everytime a new member arrives, they are in full support of AMT - regardless of having received anything.

This is such bullshit.

I bet all these 'supportive buyers' are the same person.
1514  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 20, 2014, 01:22:44 AM
I think maybe he misunderstood... since that is second-hand news.

They may have said they are shipping orders up to 600?

Can't see why they would start at 600. Unless they told him orders 600 and up will be the next shipping date, next week. Thus, this week is 300-600. Next week is 600-900?

Though... if 1.2THs started at 400... (200 a week, ~34 a day * 6 days) {Lots of assumptions there}
400-600 this week
600-800 next week
800-1000 third week
1000-1200 fourth

Everyone is left to speculate without clear updates from AMT.

AMT - WHATS THE DEAL???
1515  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 19, 2014, 06:12:28 PM
Another huge flag for a scam company is when they are looking to hire help. Has there even been a video of this 1.2 TH mining? I mean shit, if they are going to be shipping them out.. it takes 5 minutes to shoot a fricking video.

Sorry to say but this all still smells so so so much like labcoin.

let me add to that... they have not accepted phone calls for the past 72hrs. in the back of my head i am aware there is a strong possibility their totally unprofessional nature is due to the fact they stole my $6000 and never intended to mail me a miner. i may have missed the forest looking at the trees. no matter how many explanations they give for why they have handled issues in the manner they have their is always the underlying fact they handled things terribly. i used to stick up for AMT. All one has to do is look at the beginning of this thread and it's apparent i was vehemently opposed to anyone that had anything bad to say about AMT based on unsubstantiated proof. well... i have shut my mouth for months now because i'm fed up with AMT. if i get my miner great. if i don't i have myself to blame.

Dude.... why don't you sell your miner prior to delivery?  I am sure there are a lot of buyers waiting in the wings.

Maybe he wants to make sure that his miner ACTUALLY EXISTS before taking money from others.
1516  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 18, 2014, 10:05:44 PM
Alright we have word from eightcylinders that he fedex'd a cashier's check to AMT_Miners and they should have received it last Friday.

We've emailed AMT today inquiring about our refund.

Just keeping the thread updated.

Thanks,

grumpybear and his girl Wink

Thanks for the update, please keep us posted!

Hoping it will work out for you.

Haven't even started shipping miners, but yet your talking about taking orders for more powerful miners? Sounds like they are trying to get a few last orders before they pack up and leave town.

And now trying to recruit people off of this forum to work for AMT... Are you serious?

First we're told that this forum isn't a direct means of communicating with customers - this is in response to us asking for photos. Now, they are looking for job applicants off this forums.

What a joke.

If our miners don't ship, and refunds aren't attainable - everyone remember the name Joshua Zipkin. Based on what I know so far, he's the only one that speaks on behalf of AMT (and is AMT_Miners on the forums here).

Let's see what kind of update we receive tomorrow.

You agree? Because I correct you with a fact? Than I MUST BE PAID. Please. Get over yourself.

You don't have ANY facts. You are just relaying what AMT_Miners has been saying on here. Stop acting like you have the inside track on what's going on.

So far they haven't :

1. Posted photos of finished 1.2TH's (yknow, to prove they ACTUALLY exist)
2. Delivered a single 1.2TH yet

But let's see what happens tomorrow.

AMT how ever unprofessional they may be, is making miners and delivering them. They also are using the best chip in the industry. Please just give it up because as i've already stated, no one likes you because you are in fact simply just a small shit.

Slow your roll cowboy, he's got more seniority than you.  Care to show me AMT "making miners and delivering them"?  Because from what I can tell you've all been jerked around for months now.

So before we continue, let me state that: no one likes you because you are in fact simply just a small shit.  Whatever that's supposed to mean.

Read the thread there hero. they have delivered miners. Not the 1.2 but delivered nonetheless.

Hey toots, I'm not talking about the BF based ones.

PS: You're not my pal.

Don't bother responding to Toots - the way he defends AMT, I believe him to be part of their team...

Or he's just kissing ass out of fear of not getting his miner.

Either way, he isn't worth the time.

Do you have any photos to supply us with of completed units?

I expect some will receive tracking numbers for their miners on Wednesday?

Thee who surely does not mine a lot. Your annoying and no one here likes you. This is like your childhood, your early adolescence and probably most of your college experience as well. It's simple, no one likes you. No one agrees with you unless they are member which was just created in the last 24 hours.

Your provocative, and I'm almost positive your a short man. If you provide me with your home address I'll send you a package of which the contents will mostly resemble this sinister character that you call a personality. Inside the package will be a small shit that i will scoop up from the liter box after my cat has finished his nightly due diligence.

(yawn) ...you still here?

Go back a few pages when I told you to STFU, then rinse and repeat.

Let's see what happens Wednesday.
