1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Traditional Payment Processors on: May 04, 2019, 06:50:52 AM
there are still a lot of payment processing processors, of course, they are decentralized and none of them have been able to beat fiat. In fact, the end product of all of them is always in fiat. Meaning that they all end up being converted to fiat currency. I do not think bitcoin or any other payment processor will overtake fiat because we still have millions of people who do not know how to use the coin not to talk of the level of IT literacy
1522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: May 04, 2019, 06:42:05 AM
We live in a world where our online IDs are in the hands of the government and banks, and we rely on them to keep it secure. Blockchain IDs on the other hand, put you and you only in control. Therefore, you can store all your passwords and any other personal information on the blockchain, eliminating the need of passwords in everything.
that is not how blockchain or banks or government work! none of them have anything to do with "passwords and personal information"! banks hold and control your money, and governments snoops around in your personal affairs. and blockchain is just a public ledger that holds transaction history protected by cryptography. it is not supposed to hold your passwords or personal information.

Quote
In a blockchain future, we will see a world where our medical records are immediately available if we are in an accident; where online voting was possible; and where transparency was paramount and greed is disincentivized.
it is apparent that you are hyped up about something you don't understand. blockchain is not even good for those things such as medical records,... it is not efficient and there are a lot of other better ways.
I think the Op is making these statement regarding to what he/she saw in one of the blockchain project e.g VelixID that intend to use blockchain and other technology for identity verification. Blockchain technology can keep records in more secure and transparent ways. However, its use in medical field might be limited nobody will put medical histories of their patient in public database that anyone can view. That may be dangerous
1523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your daily crypto fix from? on: May 04, 2019, 06:26:35 AM
Bitcointalk has been my daily news outlet where I get news regarding bitcoin and altcoin. However, you can get many new update from cointelegraph twitter handles. Also, if you are someone that own a twitter account and consistently look out for crypto related news on twitter, the social site will be suggesting random crypto news around the world for you.
1524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price break 5700 USD, is this uptrend or bulltrap? on: May 04, 2019, 06:22:24 AM
Its wind of change which we are all been waiting for. For a long time now people have started giving up on bitcoin but let us hope this price will consistently bring about a uniform rise in other strong altcoins as well. I will like to see ETH breaking that $170 resistance and move to the next level hopefully.
1525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop SCAM in the ICO market on: April 28, 2019, 08:45:26 PM
How can investors be make to believe that your own MVP too is not a scam. Do you have offices? Are you legally registered and is your business also registered in the country where you operate. These are some of the information you should consider providing us maybe then people will start relying on the services you intend to render
1526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO or ICO for good investment at cryptocoin project on: April 28, 2019, 08:40:58 PM
The benefit of IEO is more than what ICO can offer especially to investors. Possibility of losing your investment to scammer is rear when you participate in IEO. Also due to large numbers of exchange platform that offer IEO, it give investors opportunity to select based on research and participate
1527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have info about the best IEO token sale? and where is the IEO held? on: April 28, 2019, 08:35:46 PM
Please guided. Don't even try to join IEO in any small exchange platform. I have read some comment about all exchanges that offer IEO being successfully conducting token sales but many of them only have fake volumes and low traders. As soon as the token is listed, you will realized that the token will have low volume and most time they get listed at price that is extremely low.
1528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is advertising for ICOs unethical? on: April 28, 2019, 06:19:17 PM
Any project that intend using that huge ratio for advert will probably be a scam project which at the end of the day might not even pay the advertisers since most of them always want to pay using token which might not get listed in any exchange in years. Most of the time project dev but high percentage for advertisements just to catch hunters but might not pay the actual amount after the work is completed
1529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be aware of the new exchange's IEO! on: April 28, 2019, 06:14:09 PM
Any sensible investors will not consider investing in IEO on trading platform with fake volumes. Intact any exchange platform that is not in top 10 trading platform should not be considered by investors if not you will end up regretting. I am currently having bitter experience in IEO on latoken and dobitrade
1530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All about bounty payments and its effect to the project on: April 28, 2019, 06:09:45 PM
The problem is not only hunters fault but also project dev. They always want cheap means of getting their token marketed and that is while they choose to pay hunters using token. Some of them do not have enough capital to build a well functional site not to talk about getting promotions. We have seen in the past where project decide to pay hunters in btc just like few ones on the services section but bulk of project prefer token
1531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is the FINAL on: April 28, 2019, 06:05:33 PM
The problem is that there are little or no demand for the token when they get listed. Almost all of them get dumped right after listing. However some token listed in big exchange like binance and STEX might get little volume due to large numbers of traders but only few project have such amount to get listed in bigger platform
1532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Govt thinks Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme on: April 28, 2019, 02:57:14 PM
Most people that think bitcoin is a ponzi scheme do not even understand the basic concept on how bitcoin works. This is very sad especially for large country like India with great prospect for bitcoin and other crypto. We all hope the government doesn't consider banning the bitcoin and probably support the use of the digital currency
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun stuff to do with bitcoin? on: April 28, 2019, 02:53:22 PM
But there are still bitcoin faucet so why are you making story up. There are still many of them out there. It might seems not profitable again but bitcoin faucet still exist. Well since you are thinking of making fun using bitcoin then maybe you can also try gambling. There are many bookmarker that accept bitcoin just check the gambling section.
1534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid Bitcoin Traders on: April 27, 2019, 05:05:03 PM
I barely new bitcoin until 2016 when clixsense introduce bitcoin as one of the payment options for crowdworker via some of the virtual card called tango card. For me I never think of investing then because i merely see it as payment options such as others like paypal, perfect money. etc. I have seen and heard how many people make a lot of money during the rise in 2017. For some that invested lately they also run a lost. Investing is crypto is very risky and that is the reason why many people are always afraid to invest.
1535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's value after being more recognized and accepted globally. on: April 27, 2019, 04:34:15 PM
the fact that something is knowing globally does not mean it is accepted globally. unfortunately, many of time crypto news hit the internet. It is always for the negative reasons. there has been many negative news surrounding crypto than positive news and all these as you all know have implication on the price of crypto. Up till today bitcoin has been witnessing back lash from individual and group of people. As long as no significant adoption of crypto by large businesses globally, the price will remain the same
1536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: April 26, 2019, 08:36:06 PM
The only way you can ban bitcoin is to completely shutdown the internet. Aside this nothing can be done to ban bitcoin. No matter how much noise countries are making about banning bitcoin. Non of them have been able to make it completely. Nobody can stop us from using the coin
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reducing scam on: April 21, 2019, 09:07:45 PM
Its hard to believe but if things are not regulated scam will continue to rock crypto project. Having ones a ponzi scheme investor, I can tell you vividly that a lot of admin behind many hyip are now entering ICO too. Creating website with intention of scamming people.
1538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC requirements on BitcoinTalk Bounty Campaigns Become Worst! on: April 21, 2019, 06:20:54 PM
As regard to kyc, I do not think there is any rule on BTT as regard to that. There are still plenty bounty that do not require kyc here on btt. Regarding to document. I do believe from experience that many of this bounty are looking for way to reduce number of token they will distribute to hunters at the end of the campaign. Some of them will initially keep muted during the bounty period but as soon as the campaign is over, they will start coming up flaming excuse. That is when you will discover they are not accepting your documents for kyc. It is save to do non kyc bounty than the one that require one.
1539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamato to be revealed " claims on: April 21, 2019, 06:09:59 PM
Don't fall for this. If satoshi identity want to be revealed, it should not come from a joker like McAfee. Top security force in country like USA has been on satoshi case for many years now and they couldn't revealed the through identity of satoshi. They do not even know may be its someone or a group of individual name. So do.not anybody deceive you. McAfee is a very funny man so just ignore him and continue your hustle. Good luck
1540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John "fucking" McAfee: I will reveal Satoshi on: April 20, 2019, 08:57:08 PM
I have never for once take this man serious. I see him as one of those celeb that always look for a way to become relevant after some period of dormancy. The last time I checked on his page, he was talking how he will be contesting as president of united state of america from a boat he was. The guy is known for directly using his social media influence to promote shitty project. I can never for ones believe anything this man says.
