Trick or Treat!  Cheesy

Batch #1 is arriving TODAY! Grin

Everyone that ordered on or before 9/22 should have their order shipped today and will be receiving an e-mail with tracking and refund amount.

Everyone else will ship in Batch #2 which either has shipped yesterday or is shipping today ( Still waiting for that tracking number Beastlymac! Cry )

Yea! Cheesy

Got my tracking number waiting for it to go live.

They need to make a brown version. That way I can have hashbrowns in the morning. Tongue

How do you set a Bitcoin price?
Open an exchange and let the market decide

How do you know if the price is fair?
Because you snd the person you trade with think it is. If you think $200.00/BTC is unfair don't buy/sell. If no one buys your 1BTC for $852.38 it probably unfair. Also if you see it was $200 5 min ago and you offer to sell it at $50 go ahead be happy you sold for a 'fair' price.

Could you set some type of gold standard, but without the hassle of holding gold?
Not unless you run your own country and set laws and punish people for not following it. USA used to do it but they held gold

In my recollection, money has taken the form of commodities at various points in history.  Such as a barrel of whiskey or tobacco during Colonial Times.  Commodities would be good, because they don't change, or don't change much.

That's not money that's barter.  Can you save commodities? is a 1yr old barrel of whisky worth the same as a 25yr old one.

What would you give for BFL FPGA Singles?

Do you have the power adapter?

Yes. I have 9 BFL FPGA Singles with original power supplies. I intended to trade these in to BFL for their 65nm ASIC units, but I may be better off trying to force a refund through my credit cards and then selling the FPGAs.

1528  Other / Archival / Re: Tor increases or decreases wallet safety (electrum) on: October 30, 2013, 06:30:31 PM
you can think of tor sitting between your browser and a website it hides your real IP address from the destination website.

I'm not sure how much safer that makes you.

I paid via PayPal, but put me down for a payment in BTC as well.

Confirmed!

Also, I received my first Tracking number and ETA is 10/31. I should be receiving the second tracking # today and ETA for that order will be 9/1 or 9/2.

1. I have both Paypal and BTC. BTC is fine for both.

2. Yea! for tracking Happy Halloween I hope it's treats and no tricks.

3. I hope you mean 10/1 or 10/2. Or do we wait a year.  Cry

BFGMiner is connecting to pool. Cheesy

But pool website times out. Sad

also nothing but .6 payments for last 17-18 hrs  Huh

May I ask what your hash rate is?

3.5GH/s  normally see 20-35 coins and I am getting that again now
1537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please help (Newbie) What should i buy? on: October 28, 2013, 10:43:55 PM
Vrhax is correct.  Use most of your funds to just buy BTC. Hold most of them use some for trading.

Use a small amount to buy  1 GH/s on Cex.io or elsewhere to see how it works you can see how your payouts shrink over time as pool grows. Buy 1 USB erupter for less than .05BTC so you can try miner programs.

Write off both of the above as research and education. While both the GH/s and the erupter will pay out very small amounts of BTC you won't make back the full amount even after reselling.

Getting the dashboard working will be nice.

It's working well for me. I have my miner on a ~1hr rotation on 3 pools so I will be on and off all day. I can remote in and switch in or out of the pool if you need me to.
