1541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the Safest and Most Reliable Exchange to Sell Alt Coins ? on: April 20, 2019, 08:50:34 PM
I have some Bitcoin in my hardware wallet

May I please ask - Which is the Safest and Most Reliable Exchange to Sell Alt Coins ?

There are still many good exchange you can trade your altcoin. You can visit coinmarketcap for top 10 exchange. For me, I will suggest you go with binance. I  am not too sure if they allow new signup but I really enjoy trading there because their trading fee is low and minimum withdrawal is small so in case you have little altcoin to exchange. In case you want direct withdrawal to bank account, you can try liquid exchange but you need to pass the kyc which might be tough sometime due to rigorous scrutinization of your documents.
1542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mandatory live video for project developers or team on: April 19, 2019, 11:46:49 AM
A good idea, too, but they can't do that because it's just a waste of time, if you want to know their faces as developers, you can see from the results of the meeting they were photographed and published here.
Of course, they can do it. Making videos of their meeting and partnership agreement and posting it on social media should not be a problem. I have seen ICOs that have done this in the past. It is never a waste of time. This brings credibility to the project and makes it be more generally acceptable. Some bad ICO does make a video using Illustrations of cartoons. This is very bad and should be a sign of a probable scam. photographed image of meetings can be photoshopped and copied from internets. Thousands of academic conferences are held monthly throughout the world. A properly arranged scam project will go an extra length to steal conference video and turn it around for their own project
1543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mandatory live video for project developers or team on: April 19, 2019, 11:39:35 AM
I think this will also be good because I believe many dev hide their identity in order to prevent them from being arrested when they defraud investors. However, I personally think investors should also consider investing in projects that are fully registered in the country of origin and the license agreement and other document should be made available for investors on the website. We have seen in the past where project will use photoshop image of individuals and also forge document but with a license, it will be easy to trace them.
1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC Requirement for Bounty Managers before they require KYC to bounty hunters. on: April 19, 2019, 11:18:36 AM
I feel like it's not fair for bounty hunters to submit KYC when joining bounty campaigns because we are not an investor. We will never be involved with any anti money laundering because we don't invest with money but with TIME and Effort instead. Personally I'm NOT very comfortable submitting my ID's for the simple reason that these are startup companies and we don't even know if they can be trusted.
I do not think you have actually found out the reason why some projects do want KYC for everyone including the bounty hunters. Before I explain further let me inform you that most time. It is not the bounty manager that makes it compulsory for hunters to do KYC but the dev team themselves. Now the reason while some project do make it mandatory is because of the financial rules and regulation of the country where the business is registered and irrespective whether you invest or you do not, everyone will be required to complete KYC verifications. Although some project have turn things around and use this KYC project to reduce amount of token that is being distributed to hunters.
1545  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card on: April 19, 2019, 09:24:52 AM
Bitcoin Debit card is one of the juicy project many people have invested on especially during the boom in ICO. Amon is one of those project and for more than 1.5 years now, they are unable to completely achieve this goal. The problem is that all this card need approval from third party card providers such as Mastercard, Visa etc. But this is a very complex process as this third party have strict rules and regulation which make it difficult for many project to get the card.
1546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STO vs ICO - FIGHT! on: April 14, 2019, 09:30:50 PM
I see now there are projects that carry out ICO and STO. It seems that STO is indeed highly favored and not all projects can do STO. Because STO is where the Project makes a sale but the project has already been formed and the product already exists. Certainly very different from ICO. ICO only gives Sales to build projects that they want to build in the future. If there is a mistake, please correct.
Of course not all project can do STO this is because 90% of project launching ICO is either using fake teams all do not have legal documentations regarding their project. I believe some serious project dev are getting wise now and they are creating avenue in which people will be able to see the differently in term of the perspectives of the already existing ICO as its term fraudulent and full of hungry scammers
1547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long does it take to become a pro on: April 14, 2019, 09:24:29 PM
Crypto is broad and the technology is challenging. Almost new concepts in term of usage and fine tuning of project to match with blockchain. What I mean is that there is no time frame to becoming pro because the more you learn the further you discover something you have not know. I have seen a lot of high profile and blockchain programmers brainstorming on how to understand a project that is using blockchain technology.
1548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AT THE END, ONLY YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELF on: April 14, 2019, 04:09:44 PM
when I look back and I see how much I would have made if I had known bitcoin in the past, it give me courage to continue believing in bitcoin no matter what actually happened. The current state of bitcoin will surely be over one days and those that never give up will be the people that benefit at first. I never stop keeping my coin and making progress in term of learning more and more about crypto.
1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Nerd money or not? on: April 14, 2019, 03:40:41 PM
I wish I could have known bitcoin very well especially in 2012 when I am very much active online and finding online job on the internet. Well, this is the name you will call something you know little about or you have not taken time to understand what it is. I stumbled upon bitcoin when I was still an active crowdworker on crowdflower then. The worst part of this is that I have been redirected to bitcointalk forum through google so many time and still did not know there was immense opportunity in crypto.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers will go after IEO soon on: April 12, 2019, 03:28:23 PM
It will damage the credibility of such an exchange platform and this is the reason why I am fully supporting IEO because it gives investors more confidence in their contribution to investing in IEO on the popular exchange platform. No top rated exchange platform with features for IEO will want to jeopardize the name they have already built. Investors need to also be careful on investing in some new exchange platforms that have low traders and web ranking.
1551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the new model of fundrising is IEO on: April 12, 2019, 03:01:53 PM
With the way IEOs are coming up I am also beginning to think that ICOs may cease to exist, because a lot projects now go into IEO these days.
Well, it may reduce the credible ones but those shady ones will not want to join IEO because of some rigorous verification and background check the project might be subjected to in order to prevent scam which is the major target of those shady ICO. despite the fact that IEO might reduce risk of scam, we also need to know that various exchange platforms that offer STO and are fully compliant with providing IEO also have their rules that guide prospective projects
1552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the new model of fundrising is IEO on: April 11, 2019, 10:43:03 AM
On the issue of scam, I think it all boils down to how much work that exchange platform is put in place to do a background check on the project they intend to launch their IEO because if anything goes wrong, It will lead to a bad reputation on those exchange platform. However, I believe this will be the smartest and cost-effective ways of running token sales for the dev that knows what they are doing. Many of the exchange platform with such functions have system that is AML/KYC compliance so it will bring more reliability than the usual ICO.
1553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why there is so much fuss about decentralized exchanges on: April 11, 2019, 10:16:48 AM
No exchange is totally secure. Both Centralized and Decentralized exchanges are subject to hacking as we can see in the case of Etherdelta and some other decentralized exchange. Being Decentralized means there is absolutely no central authority controlling individual accounts. However, this has both pros and cons. A lot of people think the exchange platform should be decentralized just because bitcoin that happen to be the first crypto is designed within a contest that promotes decentralization. I see no reason why any exchange platforms should be more decentralized because 99% of already existing ones are full of shit
1554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEWARE OF IEO on: April 07, 2019, 07:12:26 PM
I see some truth about some of the statement you have mentioned above. In fact IEO is one of the smartest way now that many project are using to offer sales. Well it is true that having backup from exchange does not mean the token will not get dumped. exchange platform like Latoken that offer such features is one of the worst I have experienced. 99% of token listed on the platform get dumped massively. I am still monitoring Asobi coin as well. maybe much of the reason why exchange listing is being delayed.
1555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new coins are worthless! on: April 07, 2019, 07:04:01 PM
And this is exactly the reason why many project have not listed their token on any exchange. Even those ones that conducted their public sales on exchange platforms such as dobitrad and Latoken. This is because they know ones the token is listed, it will practically get dumped most especially those one that offer huge  discounts and also have bounty program. As far as the market does not recover fully well. It will be hard to make great profit from investing and coins will end up worth less
1556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your past experience will always be an added advantage on: April 07, 2019, 06:53:02 PM
Well your past experience will be an added advantage if you learn from them. The fact that you have an experience doesnt make you get better but when you can identify the past and the mistakes you have made then it might be a step forward toward making great decision. We all hear a common saying that you can not be doing the same thing repeatedly and expect different result. Life is full of both bad and good decisions. you need to be brave to learn from your mistakes
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fall for the pump, Bitcoin won't stay pass 4k nor does it deserve to. on: April 07, 2019, 05:54:11 PM
In as much as I will agree with your statement, I will also say that you do not have proof for your statement. I am quite sure your statement is based on the assumption from what you have seen so far about the price of bitcoin. Let me tell you something, during the rise of bitcoin in 2016, nobody could have think the coin will grow so high within few months. Infact, this is what bring people like you into bitcoin because you think things will continue to go rosy. but believe me you need to follow crypto with your mind.
1558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TOP suggestions for someone who's thinking of buying BTC? on: April 07, 2019, 05:25:26 PM
I saw many comment telling people to buy when the price is dip but nobody indicate when exactly is this dip price to buy. Well my own advice is that just as you can become a millionaire by investing in crypto within few months, so also you can loss your investment. There is no guarantee that you will make gain or loss. This is because nobody can predict what will happen to the price of bitcoin even in the next 24 hrs. Therefore always invest what you can afford to lose
1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long does Ico last? on: April 05, 2019, 02:32:36 PM
Most ICO this days do not have time frame. This is because of low token sales which will definitely affect the roadmap if token sales duration is sold. Most of the project that start ICO last year are still actively looking for investors in order to make even the soft cap. In 2016, many of the project will even reach completion before the closing date that is announced. This because then, a lot of investors are trooping out to contribute in investing into project but reverse is the case now
1560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an ICO go for[BOUNTY] thread first and [ANN] thread later? on: April 05, 2019, 02:27:37 PM
They can do both but ANN thread is very important and I will recommend it to be posted with full detail before any other thing. Bitcointalk has become number one home of cryptocurrencies. Thousands of people visit this site daily to check for new opportunity so I see ANN thread to be very important because it serve as quick way through dev can show their project to the people. not only members but to a guest. I could remembered before I sign up on bitcointalk. I was always redirected to this website through google. This goes along the way to tell you the positive impact bitcointalk can have on your project when ANN thread is made on the platform
