Wow what a low baller.....

1. supports a shitclone that rips off not only the algo but the name + 4% premine.

2. you want people to register with your affil code - so you get some more

3. you want donations?? - so you get some more....

LOL WTF is wrong with you. Get some class.

I support shitcoins as they make me money to buy real coins. I mine only the first days new shitcoins and i buy Datacoins.
I use my referral and it is not hidden. I say please. I dont oblige anyone.
And yes i ask for donations because some people will find this helpfull. Especially 1 hour after the coin is out and not after days.

Go play with your shitty qqcoin and let me play with my own shitcoin. Okay? Maybe you are mad cause you see the potential Cheesy No you are mad cause you dont want competitors...

Edit: Ah and please donate Cheesy

1) Please use my referral https://www.digitalocean.com/?refcode=9d68ca19e204 and create a droplet 2CPU 2GB Ram Ubuntu 13.10 64x .It must be 1GB or more. I believe the most cost effective is 2CPU.
2) Connect with putty using using ip and password or just write those in the console. You can always download putty from here http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html  Putty is better cause you can copy paste:

Protip: You copy at putty only with right click Wink Pres Y and enter when it asks you and also put your pass if it asks you...

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install git

sudo apt-get install screen

sudo apt-get install build-essential libcurl4-openssl-dev automake make

git clone https://github.com/Neisklar/quarkcoin-cpuminer

cd quarkcoin-cpuminer

./autogen.sh

./configure CFLAGS="-O3"

make                (This will take a while...)

Now you are ready to start mining! Cheesy

Choose one of those 4 pools...I tried all three. Cant decide which one works. One of those paid me. I think it is the second one. Right now i am mining at 2nd option. Coin is super new. More pools or generally working pools will come soon! You should get a few yays every minute. If you dont then change pool. To stop the process press Ctrl+C   and put the other option....

2d and 4d Option working for me right now!

screen -S 1 ./minerd -a quark -o stratum+tcp://fz.forkpool.com:6020 -u qXMDDDk2ksZZSpc2UdsxWZ3mzQpsufrMFN

screen -S 1 ./minerd -a quark -o p2pool.fairquark.com:8372 -u qXMDDDk2ksZZSpc2UdsxWZ3mzQpsufrMFN

screen -S 1 ./minerd -a quark -o mine.fairquark.com:8372 -u qXMDDDk2ksZZSpc2UdsxWZ3mzQpsufrMFN

screen -S 1 ./minerd -o stratum+tcp://0x0a.nl:8372 -O qXMDDDk2ksZZSpc2UdsxWZ3mzQpsufrMFN:USELESSPASSWORD -a quark

If you want to close your computer or putty press Ctrl+A and then D .Now you can safely close putty/computer. If you want to check if mining is okay connect to the droplet with putty and then type

screen -r

POST HERE ABOUT ANY PROBLEMS. ASK ANYTHING! BUT PLEASE HERE. BTW I WILL REFRESH THIS AS MORE THINGS COME UP.COIN IS NEW. BUGS MAY EXIST.

There are lots of posts about 4% premine not being fair. You can be right. It depends fully on whats the purpose of the premine.

Since this is the part that seems to be the subject of most criticism, I'll add my two cents in.

If the idea would be for developer team to keep the premined coins themselves, that would truly be unfair. Our reason for premining is not to make some buck, it is to grow steady support and to share those coins. They will go purely to make FairQuark popular and known. For this reason we have openly linked our wallet address for everyone to look at (which actually might not even include whole sum yet today).

How can you know we will use all those coins as promies in near future? You cannot. There are no guarantees anyone can give for our future actions but we do have great plans. If community lets and helps FairQuark to prosper, there are even companies that will start accepting FRQ (we have promises from some companies already).

Besides companies that would accept FRQ as payment method, there are other plans for different kind of services too. Sure games and trading is nice but they cannot be whole purpose of virtual currency. Some of the plans are for long term development, some plans come true faster. We don't want FairQuark to be just another pump and dump coin. There are plenty of those.

Roadmap will be published in couple of days.

which pool works. This is the only thing i need to know Cheesy

One third of all the datacoin in existance is here : DE5fExMsvuZv3WXC5ZjcskVhigs9VQrBYG  Shocked

I suppose its from Bter. Today for example i bought a few more. And if you go back 3-4 transactions its from this address.
Same for some datacoin i bought a few days ago.
What do you think?

Personally i dont trust Bter that much to have my Datacoins there. I buy and i send to wallet.

Thats why we need cryptsy or another exchange.

And also guys we need a MAC wallet. Many complains. And many people still have problem connecting to the network when they have downloaded the client...
1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of CPU-ONLY AltCoins on: January 15, 2014, 02:36:57 PM
I mined Quark on a couple of CPUs for a few weeks, and was just about covering electricity costs. But since it's gone down in price, I'm actually losing money by mining. I tried Protoshares too, but rather than the ~$2/day I was making on Quark, I got a few cents each day. I see people talking about Datacoin and Memorycoin as CPU coins, but is anyone actually even breaking even with CPU mining?

If something was actually profit making all miners would go for it. So every coin has a profitability window which nowadays is like 1 day. When they learn whcih coin is profitable the mine that coin!

So you have to see which coin actually has something to offer in the future and support it by mining it or buying. This at least what i am doing with Datacoin. I believe it is undervalued and in the future it will grow up. Same happened for me with the first days of protoshares and i got money from cloud mining which is expensive Wink
