1561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: July 30, 2022, 03:06:25 AM
For the approaching season, I think the third biggest candidate for the league title is Chelsea now. I was thinking the same for the previous season as well. Chelsea are facing to lose some of their players soon on one hand but they don't have money issues now so they can find new players for their places. Chelsea are playing with a strong system thanks to Tuchel and this makes them still a solid team even though they don't have the best squad in the league.
I don't think so. Chelsea is not strong enough to be a candidate to win english premier league. You should see the reality. The team didn't have so many good players. It's a very bad time for chelsea to think about EPL once the team has no enough good players on it. It's very hard to say that even chelsea was loosing a lot of scores against arsenal. Chelsea needs more time to re build its club. Will this club become next mediocre?
We are nine months away from official announcement who is going to win this season and people are predicting who is going to win and which is weak for me, it's too early because we can expect too much drama and many ups and downs in this all with six tough teams in Premier League those are going to fight for title and having quality players in their squad which are going to have big contribution in this all season's entertainment.

Guys, we have to wait for start of this season and then after end of first half we can expect something about result of this season right now nothing is clear any big injury to any player can bring things badly down and any new player can emerge as a hero for any team so just wait and watch who is going to win this season which is going to start after seven days from now.
1562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today is the story of my investment in Bitcoin on: July 29, 2022, 08:25:09 PM
The idea of getting a loan is not that bad if we are talking about reaching to a higher level than of your own. For example, people could buy a 100k house by paying 20k and then taking out a 80k loan, but they would have 100k worth of house, sure they will pay back maybe more than 100k but with inflation that house will be worth even more in the future. Think about it, if you could have that kind of low interest, high guarantee, high inflation, decades long purchase, you would do that with crypto too.

For example, if I had 20k, and could get 80k loan for 30 years, and buy bitcoin with it, the amount I would pay yearly would be very low, and monthly would be even lower, and I could probably pay that with my salary anyway. That way instead of saving and waiting for years, I would have that right away, and if we consider bitcoin and what it could be in 30 years, that is a damn good deal if you ask me.
This is not possible for bitcoin if we are talking about staying in profit the same way. Because, if you are a renter and you are getting a house for yourself, then the mortgage should be similar to the rent you pay, hence why it would make sense to get a debt since you would be paying it back to the bank instead of your landlord, and you are not down too much.

Or if you are getting a house for investment, you would rent it out to someone and make that money back mostly. But when you are getting bitcoin, it's not paying it back to you, your debt is not getting paid by bitcoin, hence it's pure loss until it isn't. Which means you would have to wait a lot longer to be in positive.
1563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: July 28, 2022, 10:19:14 PM
Beşiktaş sent away Domagoj Vida. I think he was not bad player though Turkish teams love to renew many positions starting with strikers and defenders so he became one of losers in this transfer window. So I think stopper/defenders will be Romain Saiss (new transfer) and Welinton. I think it seems ok for a start. I cannot wait to see whole new Beşiktaş next week. Weghorst may surprise me and many people even in his first match. He is the most valuable new player in the league right now.
Domagoj Vida played really good for Besiktas so i dont think this was a good move. He could still offer at this age a lot more to the club especially on that defender position. Besiktas is looking to renew the team so this move isnt surpising much but still i think he could have offered more
I hear from the news that Vida was looking for more money. When a club in turkey has to deal with euros, which is like 20 or something lira per euro, that means even a 500k increase on a salary would mean like 10 million more in lira. This is why I understand why they wanted to go with another route and not have Vida anymore. If that was the case, then I think it was a reasonable case and it was the right call to send him away.

Besiktas can always replace Vida, not because he was a bad player, but because he became too expensive, if any other reason then we need to hear the reason. Also MLS team LAFC paid 1.3 million dollars for Bale, why didn't Bale went to any other European club? I thought Turkish teams were VERY interested since he became too cheap.
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 28, 2022, 09:03:31 PM
Pakistan lost the second Test match to Sri Lanka.Due to the lack of good players in the Pakistan team, they lost this second test match.
Here I have a contradiction to your statement. I have ‍seen most of the player are very much established in Pakistan cricket but i agree they are playing in the 2nd test is really poor performance. I believe they have the power to beat Sri Lanka. They have already shown in the first Test how to grab victory. But they have to change the way they play. The bowling action needs to change as well as they have to focus their batting side.
While I am watching this game of cricket I never have any Pakistani team predictable because they have never been solid most of the time one day they are hero's and just after this amazing win on second day they all are as zero's which is their nature, and it's surely a beauty of Pakistani cricket.

Today I watch all match and feeling there were nothing wrong in pitch, and they can easily survive this all day but sadly due to some poor hitting they completely go down and lost match in just first 50 overs of the day here nothing special done by Sri Lankan bowlers because they were doing just good in line and length and Pakistani batsmen were giving their wickets like crap now it's time for them to have some better quality batsmen in test format because it's important for them to work on this as soon as possible.

This is an interesting question, and in my opinion, haters are more active than adequate fans. If you look at any sports article about some football player (now I'm talking about the situation in my country), then no matter who it is about, the largest number of upvotes receive comments with a negative towards the player in question.
As I understand it, the latest rumor regarding Ronaldo right now is a loan deal at Napoli? Highly doubtful in my opinion.
There are too many masalas in media about Ronaldo transfer news because first we have Chelsea and Bayern Munich then suddenly both disappear, and we have Atlético Madrid but this also ended without any solid update after this I read now Ronaldo is going to be meet with Ten Haq about his future and most chances he is going to stay here at Manchester United without Champions League but now suddenly another news about on loan deal with Napoli mean media trying their best for keeping themselves into action without any solid reason.

Teams like Atlético Madrid and Roma fail to in negotiation with Ronaldo just because of their finances so is this possible for Napoli to do this really interested question because most chances he is not going to cut his salary which is the big problem for many clubs so with this all most chances he will stay here and not go anywhere for just Champions League.
1566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 28, 2022, 06:49:22 PM
There is a good point in what you said. Smaller teams don't compete harder against the biggest teams in this league for example. Even Dortmund are considered to be one of these biggest teams but they also don't aim to win the league title at the end of the day. In a league like this, it is like there is no way for seeing a different champion than Bayern Munich. This just lowers the quality of a league imo and makes it quite boring. I don't think that this will change in the future easily for leagues like this one.
@Slow Death while I agree with all you said I feel that times are changing, because Dortmund made sure that Bayern didn’t get Halland and on top of that they have lost Lewandowski too. Lastly if Dortmund or other teams do not take advantage of Lewandowski absence then this league will become extremely boring, hence I’m hoping that a new team will win the title by the time this season ends.
There is no doubt this league is already boring, and we have nothing special in coming season as well if Bayern Munich is already lost Robert Lewandowski which is good for few lower rank clubs but with the help of their financial system they are still strong enough for win the title again because they already have few quality players in their squad many were feeling in this we are going to have tough competition, but sadly Borussia Dortmund lost their new signing with it's going to take long time which is surely going to hurt their preparation for next season challenge and no other team is having sources for challenging them.

Here sports authorities need to do some better marketing for investors because this is an only way for having better competition in this league otherwise it's going to lose their charm more like French League which is already on decline with just one team show.
1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: July 27, 2022, 10:19:41 PM
Saying Chelsea's defense is strong might now be a little different.
So many of their defenders have left in this transfer window which makes it sure to be a bit of a struggle.
Even if there are some updates there such as bringing in Koulibaly, it will still be a little difficult because the chemistry of new players obviously cannot be formed in a short time.
Not to mention they still have problems up front.
In this transfer window, Chelsea both lost several players and acquired, so it cannot be said that they have become stronger or weaker, so far it is difficult to talk about it. But it is true that the players need time to play, so the start of the season for Chelsea may not be easy, there may be points loss, which in the end will not allow the team to fight for the championship. Although I will say that the chances of Chelsea winning the Premier League at new season do not look very convincing.
Christensen, Rudiger, Lukaku all gone, to be fair Lukaku didn't play that amazingly for them as he did for Inter, Sterling and Koulibaly acquired. Could we really say that they are not better or worse? I mean it sounds like it was better and that is why I think happened, maybe I am wrong but it looks like it is definitely something that is a bit good and we shouldn't be really shocked about the results, we should be pretty sure about the fact that they got worse.

However, I believe that the transfer window is not over and they are probably still making some moves and talking with some teams. That means I do believe they are worse than last year, but they could become better with time, they still have potential.
1568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which crypto Youtuber called the top at 60-69k and told they would sell? on: July 27, 2022, 09:41:41 PM
"Honest" a big word lol.

Youtuber is not here to tell you what is true or what is real , they are here because they wanted to earn popularity and followers/viewers .

so what does that mean?

they will do everything just for you to believe in them and that is far from reality of life so never ask for whom we trust but instead whom we watch .
But, there must be an honest youtuber because they know that they can earn more subscribers and viewers if they are true to themselves rather than if they will lie. Those who lie and misleads can still a get a viewer or maybe subscribers but that will only be temporary as their viewers will find out the truth soon.

There are youtubers like that, where they can do anything what you want but they are only doing it for a challenge or they are being challenge by their viewers. That is a legal way to get subs and views. Some of us not only watch a video but we also trust the youtuber behind it. This is what the op wants to know. There is nothing wrong with that.

Common newbie problem but they;; soon realize that the thing that they had done was suicide because touchingleverage when you are just a newbie is really like playing with fire.

Failures in trading is common even with the most professional into this industry where failing trades cant really be avoided due to unpredictability of the market.

Its not a joke but somewhat it can really be handled out well if you do know on what you are doing.Stick with the plan and always set out back up once a strategy had already been failed then try for another one.
In the markets where there are winning traders who use leverage most of the time, if they don't have the idea of what to pack, those who use leverage will suffer a lot of losses, so I think those who  They will benefit if they follow all the rules of this liver
He was talking about the newbie, the one that enters here recently. Usually they don't have any idea yet on how this market works, so it's important if they will learn in the very beginning. They can start in investing and then do a regular trading later on and after some time, maybe they are now ready for leverage trading and other advanced activities.

For those who have a long term experience already, they can do leverage trading and expects to earn something out of it. They won't quit on doing it as they are still getting a benefit. And yes all rules are a must to be followed so that we wont get any violations which can affect our trades.

33 years old is not the end of a footballing career, Costa is a player full of experience so far and he has had impressive performances when he was a player at Atletico Madrid and Chelsea, Costa current status is without a club and reportedly there are several clubs from Arabia, Turkey, Spain and England are indeed interested in signing him, but of these clubs so far only Rayo Vallecano is serious about getting Costa and even now Rayo Vallecano has submitted a proposal to Diego Costa agent, although Costa is still one of the most dangerous strikers and honest I really miss all the controversies that have arisen due to the high temper that Diego Costa has had all this time.
It may not be the biggest deal or it may not help him retire early at 33 years old, but it is damn clear that he will not have a big career after this. Sure he could go to arabic clubs, turkish ones, even MLS if he wants to but that's about it, he is not going to be an important player of a big European club anymore. Hell he could even go with like 9th of a big league type of deal, it would help him stay in those leagues for another year, but that is a risk he is taking instead of signing a 4 year deal or at least 3 year deal with a club that would want him there, even when he is like this, because his talents may not be enough for ATM right now, but it is certainly good enough for a lower level league.
1571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 27, 2022, 07:44:25 PM
As someone correctly wrote, Barcelona went all-in. If that spending doesn't lead to some super success like a La Liga title and reaching the Champions League final, things could end in disaster. I don't understand the motives for risking so much - after all last season Barcelona got the second place, why not settle for it for a few years and put the financial affairs in order? It would have been a smart decision from a business point of view, but the ambitions of the management have completely diverged from the real possibilities of the club.
That is the whole thing, if they keep doing this then I do not think that it would be really reasonable for them to do anything but a title this year, anything under that would be a horrible one. Barcelona may have played a better game against Juventus, but at the same time we need to realize it was a draw. They can't really keep doing this or get these kinds of results all the time, it would be something that is dangerous to keep it going like this with barely any income from the most important parts of the income bracket.

This is why I think it is quite clear that they are taking a risk that can't happen to help them, it looks like there is a chance, but that's too much of a big risk.
1572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 26, 2022, 09:30:42 PM
I think it is very difficult to predict which players will be the starting line-up in this friendly. But I would say that Juventus might field all the players and give the other players a chance to show what they are capable of. It should be so, that pre-season matches should be with a strong team, in order to measure their strength.
That's what you do with a friendly, you get all the players in your club to get a bit of a minutes. Both it allows you to get them to match shape and they would be able to play with form when the games that mean something that starts, but also you get to see all the players doing a good job out there, they will play their hardest on these games because it will be the deciding factor for the league games and all other important games, if you play awesome here and then you will get a spot in the roster, if you play horrible then it would be a big asterisk next to your name and you would have a few more chances at best, hence everyone will want to play, and friendlies are the only games you are allowed to put 20 players in a single game.

Barcelona management strongly supports Xavi to restore the glory of Barcelona, So far Barcelona have recruited experienced and good quality players. It should be with the current Barcelona squad Xavi is able to make Barcelona not only win the La Liga trophy, but Xavi can also bring Barcelona won the Champions League trophy. Hopefully the new players that Barcelona have can adapt quickly. But I'm sure the new players that Barcelona bought will immediately adapt to Barcelona's game, because all the players that Barcelona bought were mature players.
This means that the new player is experienced and understands how to adapt immediately.
He could get them glory or not, that is not going to be the problem. What we are talking about here is that they are going to end up with a bit of a financial problem and that means that we are talking about something that will cause them to become even worse than they were last year.

Eventually when the time comes they are going to end up with selling all their players and just focus on a full on youth squad with cheap salaries, that time WILL come, it is not even a question. What they are doing right now is only to postpone that and that is the problem, if they keep on making it later and later that will end up with cause them to regret doing what they did this summer.

Jose Mourinho is slowly giving positive results to AS Roma. Next season he is expected to be able to compete even more intensely to bring AS Roma to the top. It's a little difficult because we know that AS Roma so far have not been able to compete with other teams.
Dybala's arrival is also expected to have a positive effect on the player's performance, we know he is a talented player who has been brought in.
Roma would definitely be doing good, and yes Mourinho is doing well with this team and that's fine, but he is still not the manager that he used to be and they still didn't improve a lot last season outside of the newly formed conference league title, they weren't that big in the league for example.

This is why I believe that we shouldn't be expecting them to suddenly become a team that would win the league, that won't happen anytime soon. What they should aim instead would be going to UCL next season, if they finish top 4 then it would be nice for them and they would be going higher and would make more money and then they could give even more players to Mourinho for better results.

Frenkie De Jong has been under pressure to reduce his salary for a long time at Barcelona, and it's hard to survive these days. In response to the financial difficulties Barca is experiencing at the moment, Xavi decided to reduce Frenkie De Jong's salary by half. In order to be involved in Barca, the Dutchman must make an effort. De Jong is notable this season for not bowing to anyone. Probably he has the best legal representation advising him, as he knows his worth.
Again and again, the team's financial problems must have an impact on the player's salaries. Yes it is something that is difficult to do, but forced to do. As a result, players have to accept this harsh reality. Stick with a pay cut or decide to ask for a sale. Actually, many are interested in this one player, now we wait to see what will happen.
I mean players would definitely have a big loss when teams lose a lot of money, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't really be shocked that they need De Jong to take a salary cut, it wouldn't really be understandable if we end up with cut for many players as well, not just De Jong.

We have a lot of players over 30 that has been playing in Barcelona long time and they will definitely be asked to get a lower salary as well, that would be a problem. If they keep going like this there won't be any players left that would want to play for them. I mean think about it, if the company you work for asked to take a cut on your salary, wouldn't you start looking at other places?

All football players will experience a decline in performance as he ages, Messi has already passed the peak of glory during his career as a football player. Now he is looking at the remnants of his time as a player before deciding to hang up his boots. He is a bit lucky when compared to his rivals, PSG can give Messi the opportunity to continue to lift the title at the end of the season. While Ronaldo is struggling to get out of Manchester United, but unfortunately there is no club that is interested in using his services.
Messi was a great striker in Barcelona and scored a lot of goals, but after moving to PSG, he began to score much less, a lot of time between this transfer did not pass, he did not become much older. Therefore, I think that it is not the player, but the team. And if Messi could now move to another club, perhaps he would return his efficiency, and in PSG to realize himself in such a big rivalry not ease.
Messi wasn't a striker, he scored a lot of goals but a striker he was not. He is mainly a winger, or plays behind the striker, at the "10" position famously. You could check his positions in football manager or fifanad you will see that he is mainly a RW but could play at AMC position as well (attacking midfield center) and that is where he shines.

In PSG he played in the right wing as well, but he couldn't get into the middle like he normally would. That is not based on him or anything, that's based on how he is not used to playing with the other players there and the other players there weren't used to him, the more they play together the better they will be.
1577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The characteristics of people who are addicted to online gambling on: July 23, 2022, 12:59:54 PM
It could be fair to say gambling, crime and drugs are wealth building strategies for those who lack better options.
Gambling is considered as wealth building strategy. I personally do this. As I don't have any additional source I find gambling as a way to build wealth. But, the reality is different. It will make the luckiest build wealth whereas the majority will ruin themselves. I've restricted myself several times, but the need triggers me and I once again participate to loss what I earn.
Then, my friend, you are addicted to gambling and you need help. I am no trying to look over-smart here but I have been through a similar phase in my life and I can relate to that feeling when you need money and you gamble in hope of winning. The biggest problem is that when it works and you actually come out of the crisis through a big win, you just get more addicted to it.

Crypto casinos don't have any awareness team who can help you if anything they will want to take the last penny from you. Most casinos don't even have a deposit limit and you can always create new accounts so that doesn't even matter really.
1578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: AI prediction/forecasting for Bitcoin and crypto trends on: July 22, 2022, 05:56:23 PM
Okay let's test next day forecast for some time, I'll post daily predictions for the next day and make table to track the results. Will post in form of screenshot, so it is not editable after the fact.
Results will probably be worse than multi day prediction, but let's test it in real time.
If forecasting was really a way of making money in the crypto space, then we could also say that the crypto space has been converted into a gambling ground where anyone can just come in, make predictions, win a certain amount of money and leave the market.

But, whatever happens at the end of the day, I am not against you posting results tested in real time but believe me, a natural market can change predictions that may not be on target. I had multiple experiences with lots of analysts but no one stayed accurate for long period of times; not sure how one analyst needs to update themselves according to market conditions.
1579  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The cryptocurrency market is currently a hot spot for whales. on: July 22, 2022, 10:51:18 AM
Whales simply use it as a playground. Even if there is a crash, you cannot rely on price movements. When there are liquidations for longs and shorts, the market takes a big swing to screw as many people as possible.
But, what is your point? Do you mean that manipulations by whales is only applicable with crypto markets? Or, crash and sudden pumps are happening only in crypto markets? Every market is a playground for those traders who are all able to withstand against high volatility. The level of pumps and downs in cryptomarket might be a minor factor why most whales enjoying the crypto market. It means already cryptocurrencies are too volatile and when whales add another layer of manipulation then we experience extreme conditions with almost all cryptocurrencies.

Like people do mention, those whales will get vanished by losing the power for manipulating when crypto markets are becoming too big for them to move it on their preferred direction.
1580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin limit supply on: July 21, 2022, 09:55:01 PM
First of all, I wouldn't expect a base layer to be able to handle fast and cheap transactions, because (1) it is seen as a settlement layer like Fedwire, which is also a very slow system used to transfer considerable amounts of money between central banks, and (2), at the same time, bitcoin needs to be slow to sustain decentralization and censorship-resistance through the distribution and increased number of full nodes.

Second of all, the bitcoin block is limited in size and mined roughly every ten minutes. The former implies intense competition between users to get into the closest possible block and, therefore, growing transaction fees. The latter implies that no matter how hard you try and how much you pay, you can't get your transaction to confirm faster than miners can solve the mining puzzle.
Changing a whole system that is a trillion dollars worth is not something that would make sense right now. If you were to do something like maybe 6-7 years ago that would make sense but right now its not going to make anything at all, not going to make any sense at all.

This is why I have to say that limit supply is not something that will change. Miners are set for a certain way of working, and having a proof of stake at ETH for example has been something that has been going on for many years, leaving that aside we are talking about something that barely could end up with even something close to bitcoin levels, that is just way too much and can't happen for the time being.
