I like the exchange and own MCX so I want it to succeed.

I glad it's working now. but from the error message it sounds like this has happened before.

My agenda is to get my BTC back. Which I am fairly sure I will.

So chill dude.

Well this was something I have not seen tested or talked about. So wanted to give it a try. I might try compressed address to see if that works.

Not a major issue
1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] mcxNOW.com : Deposit. Earn Interest. Trade. on: October 25, 2013, 10:38:59 PM
I was trying to move my funds BTC to another wallet from mcxNOW account. The message i get was:
Error sending transaction on network.
Your account however has been debited the amount requested.
Contact admin to get the transaction manually sent.

Has anyone else had same problems?
The account is now empty and the BTC are nowhere to be seen. I contacted them via email, but no response. I'm getting really nervous.

Yes exact same thing.  It's just Sat morning where where realsolid(Admin) is located. So it may be awhile before we hear anything.

How about Blake-256?

There is currently only one coin using it, Blakecoin (BLC).  It has a CPU, GPU, and FPGA miner.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=306894.0

Should be it's own coin Blake's7

Reason only one is someone has to be first. It's using preliminary version of next official SHA hash.

I did see a short ~10min outage. unlike that happening to my home rig. CEX.io rased by GH/s for a few shares until my hourly ave went back to my purchased level. So no BTC lost.

I'm saving my digital and hard form of bitcoin as a long term investment, while making small donations here and there.  No gambling for me, unless I'm actually IN a casino!    Grin

Gee with that name I wonder what the hard form of bitcoin you have?  Cheesy

MYCELIUM Wallet for android allows you to add/delete private keys. Can scan them in from a QRcode or copy from clipboard.
1573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Can you scan a private key QR into your wallet? on: October 25, 2013, 12:02:37 AM
Lets say you used vanitygen or vanity pool and have key/address on a pc.

You are paranoid security aware and do not want this key to be in an email or passed on to a website to make a qr code.

Paste key into app listed above it will make a text QRcode.  QR Droid can read it on android device you can copy and paste into wallet. Or as I said Mycelium Wallet can scan QRcode (or paste from clipboard).

Title pretty much says it all. Is there a way to scan a QR code containing a private key, and add that address do your wallet?

On Windows PC use this free app to make a QR code of the key on your PC screen.

In Mycelium Wallet go to key management->Click on plus button then scan button and scan QR code

1579  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Anyone mining at ghash.io ? Any anecdotes ? on: October 24, 2013, 04:17:34 PM
It used to say 3% it correctly says 0%. the 3% is old info 0% is correct now.

just remember this is separate from the mining you can buy at cex.io you are just using it like any other pool.
As you can see from my sig I mine elsewhere.
1580  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: best method converting btc to usd on: October 24, 2013, 05:31:00 AM
depends on where you are, where you want money to go, how long you are willing to wait, if you want to pay a fee.

Also how YOU feel about any and all of the above.
