1581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Pi mining networks real? on: May 24, 2023, 07:32:00 PM
why it would be something that would really be getting some value? This had been already a long time and
i've read up that there's some promises that had been made but until now it wasnt really be able to happen.
Im talking about that it can be exchange through appliances, gadget, or even fiat money. Cause here in our country they are accepting Pi Mining as form of payment in their stores. Or someone buying it with real fiat money thats why Ive said it has value. But if you are talking about exchanges, Im not sure if theres one that is listed on it since its not have a blockchain yet.
1582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Pi mining networks real? on: May 24, 2023, 07:10:56 PM
Pi mining network is listed on different trading platforms that is trusted coins coming out soon, China are willing to buy it when is launches into the market but I had trust issues with most of airdrops and free mining networks, some after a while it will just vanished or remain irrelevant. Do you think is real or is going to be launched soon?
Since its been used for p2p on some countries even in my country. Its safe to say that it has traction and been trending for a while but think about their process, is it really a mining or a blockchain project without actualyl doing its description? Maybe the term social mining is for social task but that isnt a blockchain deed but a social interaction. So technically it isnt right? Anyway we will see how the hype of Pi mining would come or not. Im gonna be shocked to know that this will not launch, see dozens of people whom expecting it will definitely cry.
1583  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Today is Bitcoin Pizza Day. on: May 24, 2023, 06:23:59 PM
I don't know why people create an anniversary of regret.
The regret shouldn't be remembered
we shouldn't repeat it again.
Well for some its the value of bitcoin now they are regretting for those pizza bought. But for some reason, even the person who did this didnt actually regretting it. Well its because its one of the early success of bitcoin as peer to peer transaction in the real world and its been used to purchase a pizza. Its worth before snt that much but the thought of using this. If Satoshi might be alive he could definitely give it back to Laszlo for doing that as a gift or commemoration . Just a thought
1584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: May 24, 2023, 05:53:08 PM
Yes, I saw this message that LayerZero made a snapshot. But I have doubts about the competence of @0xKevin00, who makes such statements. And until an official message from the project team arrives that the picture has been taken, I will continue to perform activity on the network so as not to experience Fomo in the further.
Ah you might have a point. Maybe they wanted to decrease a potential receivers of airdrop so anyone would like to farm would be discourage and leave at what they are planning to do or been doing. Well it doesnt hurt if we just continue the transactions anyway. Thanks might as well give it a try, gonna use stablecoins and little much volatile tokens for these task anyway to avoid such dissapointment.
1585  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start a lending business on: May 24, 2023, 05:13:15 PM
Do you think I can act as a lender by leaning on another user who escrow and who holds the collateral?
Its gonna be tough but if you want to make a name then try to lend first only to those credible users. Dont ask for collateral, they would definitely not cheated you if they are reputable enough. This is only if you choose your clients or users perfectly. There are plenty whose asking of the loan here on forum might give to people with trusted feedback with known record.
1586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: May 23, 2023, 03:57:17 PM
A good choice, but why did you miss LayerZero, which is a potential contender for the airdrop distribution?
To this list I will add Linea, Base and Scroll, which are currently available on the test network and, accordingly, you do not need to spend real money for testing.
Oh yeah. Forgot, I didnt list cause Im not sure if Im able to make it since I saw an announcement of the rumors of potential snapshot. Check below cause I didnt do much interaction yet.

https://twitter.com/ICODrops/status/1660934547549110272?t=-QKrFMUK8iSquSC-dN7UrQ&s=19

Thanks for adding linea and base. These two are good ones.
1587  Other / Meta / Re: Happy bitcoin pizza day to all forum members on: May 23, 2023, 02:58:57 PM
I read somewhere Lazlo said he didn't regret his action when juxtaposed with the current Bitcoin high price. I just hope he meant it. Otherwise, I don't think such is easy not to be a regrettable action.
I think he doesnt own only the 10k bitcoin. Probably he did have some more during that time thats why he sold off bitcoin and no one ever have the idea that bitcoin would be a lots of worth before. For other people maybe they cant take that scenario and possibly do worse or got depress badly. But seeing him calmly as now, probably he made some fortune on bitcoin before and who knows maybe more now.
1588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: May 23, 2023, 02:29:00 PM
I don't think there is a thread discussing airdrops in this forum yet maybe it would be great to share airdrop information and a thread to discuss the upcoming airdrop so we can enjoy the rewards with the rest of the crypto community in this forum, but glad to hear you are also a part of both airdrops Arb and Sui, I hope there will be a big airdrop coming.  Wink
As much as I wanted too but its quite hard to share some new projects that I am working on or doimg testnet. Some could be malicious that I didnt know or suspected. I dont want to share something newbie might be a victim of. I think they could see a lots of potential airdrop threads on Twitter. But if youll do a thread for that then go mate. I think that would be great of help. Just make sure the project are worth it and not a small time scammers.

Please can you or anyone share the airdrop you partaking in this 2023?
- zksync
- argent (starket)
- Venom Testnet
-Cashmere
- Mantle Network
-Eigen Layer
-Orbiter
-Syncswap

Actually many more but Im not sure if they are confirm airdrop.
1589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: May 22, 2023, 03:36:41 PM
Before the arbitrum appeared, several other airdrops were quite successful such as Optimism, ENS, Dydx etc, that gave bigger returns.
Right now I'm still focusing on Zksync Era, Layer Zero, StarkNet and Sei.
Yes Ive got 1inch and dydx too. But not optimism and ens sadly I didnt active for that time for op possible drop. Ive had the same prospect but not sei network. I abandoned the task for that, but probably a good drop too. We dont know if they gonna gave us airdrop but we will see if the time has come and the claiming button is active again.
1590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: effect of a million bitcoins on: May 22, 2023, 03:33:49 PM
what will be the effect on network and different technical metrics, if anyone sent 1 millions bitcoins in 1 transaction (hypothetically for now because no one have even 2% in one wallet)
It would dump the market of course. But I doubt you could sell a 1million bitcoin in one transaction like for example on dex also with cex since the liquidity might not be enough to handle such volume.  This could be done in series of transactions but are you implying that Satoshi would sell his bitcoin in 1 swoop? I doubt it.
1591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The last side of Bitcoin I've failed to look into on: May 22, 2023, 01:56:49 PM
Is all we can do as a Bitcoin investor is to HODL?

Is there any way to HODL and make more BTC?
Yes you could only hodl and wait for its value to increase then sell it once its appreciated through monetary value. Once bitcoin drop again you could increase your holding by buying it back so basically you increase your asset in bitcoin. Its purpose is to be use for transaction for peer to peer as per Satoshi vission and goal. Cant really compared that into eth which has different consensus that can increase through staking.

If you are fond of increasing your asset then go for altcoins. Cant really much do on bitcoin about this.
1592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebration Bitcoin Pizza Day. on: May 22, 2023, 10:50:47 AM
So I guess I am having pizza later evening. Well to commemorate the events that everyone in the crypto space would never forget. That a 10k btc sold for pizza boxes. Well thats something we should always remember, Im thinking if I could finish a Papa john pizza box alone.

How much in bitcoin those 2 boxes of pizza now? Epic event on bitcoin history. I wonder if Laszlo also celebrating it today by pizza.
1593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask Implemented Crypto Tax on their ToS on: May 22, 2023, 10:32:03 AM
They already clarified that their terms are still the same and it might be a sign for their users to take some actions regarding their reliance on Metamask because anytime they could change their terms and might going to cause some trouble to others.
I wonder how powerful the social media. Since it came to their attention the circulating tweets. Now they clarified it easily and push a pedal on the issue. For sure if they push this idea nevertheless the metamask users will totally decrease without a doubt. People dont like to be treated liks some sort of prisoners. Well taxes are due but not in a decentralized space. For sure OGs are tweeting a lot now about metamask craps.
1594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: May 22, 2023, 08:59:02 AM
WTF are you talking about SUI 45 usd allow list. There is no such thing. If you want legit bounties go to zealy io. They have hundreds of projects there that reward you for performing simple tasks like liking tweets and joining a discord community.
Maybe I did knew cause I am bit fortunate to be lucky on the allowlist. Well hate to break to you, but Im also joining some of the zealy campaign but not all. Im very picky on which task or project to work on any campaign to gain free tokens. Im just sharing these from the past rewards Ive got. Dont worry if I have valuable tokens refeived from doing zealy, galxe, guild and some other platform will add to my list. As long as its worth it and not penny giveaways.
1595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Metamask Implemented Crypto Tax on their ToS on: May 21, 2023, 08:59:44 AM
So is anyone seen the pop up on their app regarding the newly changes terms and conditions services?

A post here on Twitter emphasized that metamask would withhold taxes on users. As a decentralized non custodial wallet, I think this would break its concept means they are gonna do kyc to identify wallets for taxation or they just gonna cut some tax based on trasaction made on metamask swap? Have anyone tried or seen an option when using it? Its not also clear on how they are gonna do this per country with different taxation regarding cryptocurrency.

I think many would be alarm on this but Im thinking they are doing this to suffice their partners on the industry to avoid being targeted to violations by SEC.  Anyway metamask is a business after all. Any thoughts?

1596  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need guides from the community? on: May 21, 2023, 08:31:39 AM
Furthermore, I have part-time jobbed and can lose this any time just because of this now looking for full time is this OK or no?

I am 31 years old with no technical education and have experience of accounting as this is my job so can be successful in this or no.
Please give your ideas and views, hopefully someone will work for me and I will be able to have better things in life.
Looking for full time is always the best. But since you had no bakcground on others might as well to catch some since its important to gain some experience or atleast apply for a company.  You dont find jobs here but just knowledge and using that might get you something anywhere. Crypto isnt a full job thats gonna rely on unless you are a developer or what. Maybe stay for a while and study here well see if you do good.  But better to stay on your toe with your  part time job. Its hard to earn money nowadays.
1597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Budget For Halving on: May 21, 2023, 08:06:43 AM
The plan of taking loan is also there, that sum to be invested has to be completed and a business money will be realized. This is awesome and is gonna take me only 2 years to pay my loan comfortably.
This is really not good move. If you are sure that you can gain profits from the bitcoin halving event then go for it. But even the greatest professional cant predict if bitcoin could do goof after halving. Yes there were historical results but its bot guaranteed and you want to loan for the investment money youll gonna make. How about use only your afford to lose money and gamble it with bitcoin without affecting your life savings. Man thats gonna do bad consequence if not aligned with the good market conditions.
1598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: May 21, 2023, 07:05:40 AM
It would be fun to know about any hot ones and how to get them. I mean i tried to get ARB but i guess i didn't do enough to be eligible.
If you like to get on some airdrops. Then go to galxe campaign, zealy, or be active on twitter follow some airdrop guru and do the instruction they are posting. They do a step by step guide about these speculative airdrops. Some are on testnet and some are on mainnet. There are free and there are you need to spend some gas to interact with the protocol.
1599  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Effects of Binance Changing Wallet Addresses on: May 20, 2023, 05:02:14 PM
I thinl thats good move changing it might refresh our deposit address to fresh one and leaving the old one. I think its better if they could do that on 6 months basis instead of a longer one so people can always change theit depo address that might be track by some scammers due to continously been used of. For me its a nice move for the Binance team and they had explained it ms an upgrade for security purposes too.
1600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: May 20, 2023, 04:47:11 PM
the airdrop at all, eligible because I was trading some meme shitcoin back in 2020/2021 in Arbitrum. Funny how that worked out Cheesy 1K USD for joining Discord and trying out testnet was surely nice too. What activity are you doing in zkSync now?
Yeah dont expect too. Sometimes airdrops are coming at the least you expect it. For now doing some swap on tokens on zksync that are potental since its still low in marketcap. Degen trading mate.

It's not exactly free. To get 1,500 tokens, you still had to invest in transactions or providing liquidity in the Arbitrum network.
I think it is considered free since I am bridging and trading on arbitrum on purpose with some tokens on their network before. Buying and selling so i expected to incurred some fees. I think every thing has fees now. But I didnt think of the criteria for the drop. Didnt even do some task for it. Just exactly doing degen trades on that. Some gains some lose. Then kaboom airdrop claim activated.
