1581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: March 01, 2019, 01:23:00 AM
what a year, wish I dump all the coin in late DEC lol

and today, spend the 100% from that capital and bought it again, so u still holding the same amount as late DEC while steady with the 900% profits..
This is the same feel for majority of the holders as they did not make use of the opportunity to make the most out of the situation when the price touched the all time high valuation and then never thought of booking the profits thinking that the price would go high further, with every rally expect a great fall if the rally was a crazy one, never think twice about booking your profits and let the market goes down and then enter again and wait for the next run.
1582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto arbitrage for noobs on: March 01, 2019, 01:03:53 AM
Find a coin with price difference on two exchanges then buy fro exchange where the price is low and sell on the price where it is selling high, just simple though.
I am not sure whether it is possible right now, earlier we could see the difference in price in many different exchanges but now a times it is very difficult to find the difference and even if you find one it takes a lot of time for the coins to withdraw from an exchange and by that time the advantage is lost, it was fun when there were instant withdrawals but right now i am not sure whether this is possible.
1583  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Whales have accumulated thousands of coins in last 2 months on: March 01, 2019, 12:51:46 AM
It is not a big surprise to hear these kind of news as it is the best time to invest when the market is really low and wait for the market to recover and then book their profits rather than entering when the price starts to recover and that is how people make money from this market and not the other way around, entering at the last moment and then missing the point of exit and missing the entire run and then crying that they got played and so on. 1584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think ICO is a good way to raise money? on: March 01, 2019, 12:38:17 AM
Of course the ICO is not the best way to get money, the ICO is for those who are big capital investors. I think the best way to get money from cryptocurrency is to trade. You can take a little profit every day from trading results.
Are you not reading the content and just replying? he is asking about ICO projects and not starting his own project to make money  Tongue.

I would like to see ICO if it is a legit project and with all the scams that took place in the market, majority will have a bad experience when it comes to ICO investment one way or the other and i think it is difficult to convince people other than it is a legit project with legit team.
1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PLease be really be CAREFULL when throwing money in ICOs on: February 28, 2019, 08:00:59 PM
It is said that ICO was restricted and ONLY 962 persons in the WHOLE world were able to join ... Lots of crypto entusiast raised a huge red flag over this operation as it seemed a  blatant scam to many people.
That is true that only a few could invest during the initial phase and they closed in a matter of minutes but that does show that they are bluffing, they reached their target in minutes and they closed the initial phase and that is the case with every top level hot projects, it is difficult to enter during the initial phase as it reaches the target in minutes.
1586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019 No Bull Run, the Bull is Sleeping on: February 28, 2019, 07:42:59 PM
It seems that this year the market has experienced a bull run which is still very difficult but if in the coming year I am sure the market will be a bull run because from now the market has started to have a good increase
You really cannot call these short burst as bull run, you might witness more of these market situation for some time and the recovery process will start in the mean time and i expect the price to increase by the end of this year and you will witness many downward movement too on the way to a bull run and i expect it to happen in a couple of years after the halving and that bull run will take the price to another all time high valuation.
1587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme on: February 28, 2019, 07:06:00 PM
Right now it is not. But there was a time when it was. It takes big profits or big loss and with that it has made a few people very rich and some others very poor.
If you are smart enough you could book your profit, the problem with some of the projects were, it looks promising in the beginning and the price will shoot up and that is the time you should book your profit rather than holding it for a longer time unless it has a promising strong team, if you invest wisely you can always make money in this market.
1588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has the crypto market reached its bottom yet? on: February 28, 2019, 06:48:06 PM
I would like to understand the general sentiment here from people who gather lots of crypto-related info from various sources.
It is quite difficult to predict, there is a possibility that the market would go down once again before the recovery, nothing can be predicted here but i expect the market to start gaining momentum after a few months and we will where it goes from here, there are some major resistance above $4k and if we could breach that first then we will see another resistance above $6k and that is how i expect the market to move this year.
1589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal fears Bitcoin :) PayPal CEO Dan Schulman Disses BTC & Praises Blockchain on: February 28, 2019, 05:50:03 PM
This is really interesting. PayPal CEO Dan Schulman disses BTCitcoin for price fluctuation and claims it can't be used as a currency for businesses due to the fact of needing to be converted to fiat after the sale (which takes a fee to convert, thus losing your margin). He also argues that the extreme price fluctuations of 10%+/- can be a hindrance for businesses to accept BTC.
They have to dismiss the use of bitcoin because it will hurt their business so much and they will come out with things like these, majority of the payment platform will be affected if people start using bitcoin for international business transactions, we will see a mass adoption in the future until then they can spread FUD like these to protect their businesses.
1590  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make this world economically better? on: February 28, 2019, 12:20:55 AM
Many countries didn`t know the important of bitcoin because of the bad feedback about this and say that is scam. Someday bitcoin can be the one of the partnership around the world and one of the best crypto to all the countries.
If a country decides to take any action against anything you will need to conduct a separate study on the viability and the scope of the new technology and then make a decision rather than looking at feed backs from non technical individuals from the financial world, no country will embrace bitcoin along with their national currency but i am sure it will be used for online transactions throughout the world.

But the one solution that can help the economic is the acceptance of every countries.
Never expect the entire world to accept bitcoin, there will be countries that ban the use and nothing can be done against it, some countries want to control the flow of money and have a upper grip on the citizens they might be doing that.
1591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Calls Bitcoin A Brilliant Technology, Even Better Than Paper Money on: February 27, 2019, 11:29:32 PM
Despite being an avid supporter of Bitcoin, Elon Musk admits that he owns absolutely zero cryptocurrencies that he purchased himself.
Musk seems to find cryptocurrency to be a brilliant innovation.
“Cryptocurrency bypasses currency controls. … Paper money is going away. And crypto is a far better way to transfer values than a piece of paper, that’s for sure,” Musk said.
If I am Elon Musk and I really do find cryptocurrency "a brilliant innovation", I will not announce that I own one because I am a public figure. Because that will defeat the principle of anonymity of what business transactions I am planning to have in the near future. No one knows, may be why he said he doesn't own any crypto because he is still making one.
Just read along the lines and you will understand, he is not having the time to personally purchase anything but he might be having a team of investors who have invested in it, since he is a billionaire he will be having a team to carry out his orders when it comes to investment. Wink
He is having legit business ventures and there is no need for anonymity for his transactions and hence he wont be worried at all even if he discloses his investments.
1592  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: February 27, 2019, 10:40:42 PM
Distress is the big problem for a Crypto investor in all time because our universe. Will going to dump then we fused tension will come to us how we can survive again in the speed but after taking any decision it will be normal so at that time we need to be patient it is enough things to do at this time to make your investment stable.
It is not only a distress time for investors but for projects who collected money to implement their plans too, the market will shut down many projects as they will not be able to fulfill their missions, for investors we have the leverage to wait for the market to recover if you have invested in good top coins but for investors who invested thinking about a quick profit the stress will be really high as you are not sure when the recovery happens.
1593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix to make a documentary about the altcoin side of crypto on: February 27, 2019, 10:03:22 PM
Netflix has announced they are working on a film/8 part documentary about the mysterious dark side of cryptocurrency. Well because it is in the background of the king of crypto.
There was alot of fallout in these alt coin markets due to the prices of some dropping to 95% of their value in just 6 months after those who purchased them causing people to be financially ruined.
It will be an interesting documentary without a doubt, i hope they will conduct an investigation series about the high end scam ICO and what happens after collecting the amount and whether they are using it wisely and other details, majority of the altcoins are losing their value from the initial price they had and it is difficult to maintain the project and some have closed their doors entirely because of that and hopefully it will be a good series.
1594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Billion People Will Be Using Cryptocurrency in 5 Years: Brian Armstrong on: February 27, 2019, 09:14:57 PM
Well it may not even take 5 years for us to have 5 billion users. You see prominent people like elon musk openly praising it's potential and people will flock to it. We've come a long way in 10 years and the growth over the last 3 years is an indication that there will be mass adoption to come.
The average transaction per day is around three hundred thousand when it comes to bitcoin and i am not sure about the rest of the coins and you expect a billion people to do that in five years time, it is an impossible task, if he says that a billion people will be using cryptocurrency there must be a huge merchant adoption from major commerce sites online and if they accept bitcoin then we might see a turn around in the total number of users.
1595  Economy / Speculation / Re: A chance for Bitcoin to rise! on: February 27, 2019, 08:47:51 PM
Do not let the speed of bitcoin increase, because the bitcoin price will not be increased immediately because bitcoin is stolen, bitcoin stole it so that the bitcoin has dropped significantly because it does not invest too much for him That's the amount, so we still have some months or years that's just that confident.
I am not sure what you are talking about  Huh . what stolen bitcoin you are talking about? are you talking about exchange hacks in the past, if that is the case the price right now has nothing to do with the hacks that happened. I hope you will improve your language as it is not clear what you are trying to tell here.
The price will increase, we saw some glimpses last week about the market recover and we saw the correction too, just wait for a few more months and you will see the market recovering in stages.
1596  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can any analysis predict btc price for the next month? on: February 27, 2019, 01:23:20 AM
True, people keep asking for the same thing, they want to know how the market is going to move without understanding it themselves and the problem is even if someone gives to them the right answer how are they going to know that is the right answer among so many posts? They will not be capable of telling the difference between a good advice and a bad one.
If it so easy to know when the market will rise and fall then you could make a lot of money, just invest before the rally starts and sell off when the rally ends and enter the bear market.  Cheesy The only advice you would get is that, the market may or may not rise in the sudden future, but when it rises you could calculate the possibilities on how far the market will go looking at the volume and so on, other than that it is very difficult to predict the future.
1597  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto as a payment method for goods: what to expect in 2019 on: February 27, 2019, 12:41:55 AM
So that begs the questions: Your thoughts on crypto as a payment method? Any progress achieved in the upcoming year?
We will see the progress as time goes and sure there will be new merchants accepting bitcoin, there is a slow adoption rate than what we anticipated in the beginning because of the increase in transaction fees and delays but right now everything is working smooth and hopefully we will see more merchants accepting bitcoin and i expect bitcoin to be the currency for online transactions for the masses.
1598  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: February 26, 2019, 10:52:06 PM
Tell me, who interested in stable crypto at all? To whom it would be profitable?
I think in the case if the price will get totally stable crypto will loose its attractiveness.
Never expect to see a stable price for bitcoin in a long time, but it will not loose its attractiveness even if it because stable, but there is no way we would see that kind of situation, we have the speculative market in full flow and there is no way we would see something like that in bitcoin, what ever anyone does there is no way that the price would be stable for bitcoin.
1599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I told my banker about bitcoin on: February 26, 2019, 10:11:49 PM
My point here is that "I don't understand the technology, therefore it won't fly" is just a sorry excuse for someone not to have to deal with anything unfamiliar.
Same old, same old.
This is exactly the same reason why there is no mass adoption, people are really not interested nor they are bothered to learn about the new technology, people casually ask whether the market is legal or not, they have just heard about the new technology and nothing else is known to them and it is only because they are not interested to learn about it, people who understand the viability of the market have invested in it.
1600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who would actually believe celebs promoting crypto? on: February 26, 2019, 09:43:07 PM
Yes you are right, there is no point buying products or following investment ideas from celebrities. But, we can't ignore the fact that, they could introduce the product to a large audience. They could grab peoples attention. In ICO's case shilling makes projects popular and eventually investors would be interested in popular projects. That is why we have seen many people following celebs and famous investors.
The celebrities advertising scam projects will make a negative effect rather than having a positive one, no matter what they advertise you must have the intelligence to understand the project and what they are trying to achieve and then make your decision rather than investing just because a celebrity said so, they will advertise anything for money.
