161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elon Musk's Tweets... on: February 05, 2021, 09:07:06 PM
People took it really seriously this time around because it seems they have been waiting for it already and of course where some people made good profits others lost but nevertheless I thought it was later reported that his account was hacked. What to know is that, in the crypto space, news, some sort of attention etc plays a big role in the price of a coin, hence it can cause the coin to pump or to dump. Also considering the personality of Elon Musk, I don't think he will result to trolling just to have fun, I mean he have other things to do which is also a more reason to believe those tweets were not from him and probably his account was really hacked.

163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ENJ - the most undervalued NFT project on: February 04, 2021, 09:17:14 PM
I think for a long time or rather right from inception, Enjin has been one of the first if not the first platform to start works on NFT and its features, they have been around working on it, but owing to the fact NFT is yet to break even in the crypto space, it then looks as if Enjin is hardly heard of. But nowadays that NFT is picking up momentum gradually with many upcoming projects working on it, Enjin will now be on the forefront sooner than later. In the same way, another attributes which makes Enjin to stand out is their partnerships with good companies which you rightly stated. Nevertheless, I am not really much into predictions, therefore $2 might look hard to come by when comparing with the current price from coinmarketcap, but however $1 might look achievable if the market continues being bullish.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) derivatives data suggests traders expect prices above $2,000 on: February 04, 2021, 07:56:01 PM
From a clear sense, looking at the market at the moment and most importantly the current price of Ethereum it is very likely that the target of $2000 will be surpassed, although this is most likely to happen based on our own assumption and speculation but we should also bear in the back of our mind that, this is the crypto space and anything can happen, which might cause a dump in the market therefore cutting short the speculation. However, at least till date, it can be seen that coins like Ethereum has stood its ground and grew till it surpassed its previous ATH while setting another one, which of course adds further to the fact that Ethereum is actually the second best coin in the crypto space worthy of holding long term together with Bitcoin.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The surprise of Dogecoin on: February 03, 2021, 06:07:09 PM
The good fact is that, Doge coin has succeeded in rewarding long term holders, because I know that Doge coin being one of the oldest coins which hardly pumps means that a lot of people have been holding, some might even have abandoned their own in different wallets and exchanges not until the pump started that they went to look for theirs, and it was really a good one/experience. Nevertheless, anyone going into Doge coin should be a risk taker who has understood how the market works and most importantly more about Doge, because sooner than later, it will go back to its former state, although it's just speculations but who knows, it might still surprise everyone but yet, it is good to take profit and keep what you can afford to lose.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Eth able to break its previous ATH within few days? on: February 03, 2021, 05:46:26 PM
Just like the saying goes, the crypto space is unpredictable, that is, many people didn't know the price of Ethereum will get to such height as it is today. Looking at the price of Ethereum today, it has surpassed its ATH, set a new one and looking towards passing $2k although no one can point out or say when that will take place but mostly likely might be sooner than later. Another thing that is surprising is that, irrespective of the high gas fees, investors do not seems to care thus going in massively, upcoming projects are still going for its blockchain and the price growth is a proof to attest to the fact that Ethereum have something good to offer; what then would happen if the high gas fee is solved, we will see more growth within the Ethereum platform.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1INCH Speculation/Discussion Thread on: February 03, 2021, 05:32:13 PM
It is really interesting that a lot of Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) are now coming up to challenge the status quo being Centralized exchanges (CEX), unlike before when DEX are hardly heard of or are hardly making waves, but nowadays we have more Dex that makes trading in a decentralized way more easy and friendly. Also, it will come to mind that Dex, are in line with what the crypto space portrays, thus the reason why we will be seeing more of them as time goes on, moreover nowadays IDO (Initial Dex Offering) is coming up gradually and this will add more to what is already happening.
Nevertheless 1INCH is good owing to some of its features and recently the price has been growing thus giving holders more reason to hold, thus I believe if the team continues in that like manner of improving more on their features they will most likely compete closely with Uniswap, just like other CEX competes with Binance.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge? XRP? ETH? All Shitcoins. Read this Thread I will make you rich on: February 02, 2021, 06:23:51 PM
It is good to have an opinion of something and stick to it, so that whatever comes out of it, you man up and own it as well.
One of the reasons why people always go for top coins such as ETH is simple, they know Ethereum is an already developed project with great team, that is to say, the team can't exit scam, the team can't abandon the project and of course they will continue putting in their best to ensure Ethereum remains valuable. Moreover there was a time Ethereum was very cheap, and of course those who believed in it, bought as much as they can and today they are gaining.
Now about other new projects which are cheap and can make you rich, in the same way, a good number of these same projects can also disappear with your money, and as we all know, at least a lot of new projects team have either exited scam or the team abandoned the project. Thus, I think everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and very important is fund security which top altcoins offers a whole lot.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: perfect entry point for this gem on: February 02, 2021, 06:04:13 PM
I can't fail to ask, but what if it doesn't? There are some statement which are not supposed to be made just because we want to create an impression or state a fact when it is obviously clear that this crypto space is unpredictable. Many people have listened to a lot of predictions even from experts but yet ended up lossing their money. You can state your reasons why people should invest in a coin, it's left for them to make their choices, such that if it doesn't go as planned, they won't have anyone to blame; don't get me wrong, not against you sharing your thoughts.
Nevertheless, I believe the message has been passed and it is important everyone carry out their own personal research to know more about the project and it's potentials of going high.

171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could DOGE could reach 1$...? on: February 01, 2021, 05:34:29 PM
Cryptocurrency investing comes with risks, and the best way to limit or reduce the risks in my own understanding is by investing what you wan afford to lose, and the second is being careful of predictions among other ways; when you invest what you can afford to lose you will hardly be troubled and when you don't focus more on predictions you will know when to buy and/or sell. Therefore, talking about Doge, no one knows how far it can get to, and if $1 is even possible because the crypto space can't be predicted and also have many surprises and moreover the pump took many people by surprise and those who were holding for a long time, actually enjoyed it. Thus, in my own opinion, if you have a spare you can afford to lose, you can invest and wait, such that if the market later do not go according to what you anticipated, you can exit or hold for long term.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the right time to buy? on: February 01, 2021, 05:24:58 PM
I need some advice, I had some crypto a few years ago and then sold it and made some good profits and I am now planning to buy some crypto once again and I admit that I am outdated on the crypto world right now. Can someone give a brief explanation of what DeFi is and what are your top 5 coins/tokens and where do you usually trade it. Thanks!  Wink

The crypto space has changed quite a lot, and depending on how long you were away, most things might look new but when you take time to go through them, you will get around it. Starting with DeFi, DeFi stands for Decentralized Finance and just like in the era of ICO where it was trending, nowadays, DeFi is currently trending reason why many projects are looking for ways to leverage on what DeFi offers and so on. Also, in the case of top 5 tokens and/or coins, BTC takes the first place, followed by Ethereum, ADA, DOT and XLM, or you can also visit coinmarketcap and check the top 10 therefore making your choice; it would also be better you get more information about that the crypto space before investing in any new projects. And lastly, you can get started with cryptocurrency trading by visiting Binance exchange, Kucoin, Huobi and so on; just visit coinmarketcap, type the coin you want and check the market it is trading on.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nominex move to defi on: February 01, 2021, 05:17:29 PM
Whenever I come across news like this from a project team, what always comes to mind is that, the team will always do what they believe will be better for their project, and if really they are a good team, and the project is great then it will grow accordingly, but if the project is questionable or the community do not see the need for such change to occur, then they will most likely ignore and that would be the beginning of the end of the project. Therefore, in the case of Nominex, I still have the mindset and believed that, with DeFi being the trending innovation in the crypto space now, that the team believes it would be better for them to flow along with it, while maintaining their use case and/or improving on their use case.
Lastly, in the case of investors who might have bought/invested before the migration, I believe the team will either open up a token swap event or airdrop their Defi token to all those holding the old token. Thus being in line with Defi will make it possible for them to list as desired.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I want to buy LTC on: January 31, 2021, 08:02:28 PM
When you count the top altcoins in the crypto space, Litecoin (LTC) is always one of them, it is one of the old coins which has retained its worth and value over the years, thus not like other altcoins whose team gives up and abandon their project, therefore planning to hold for a long time is not a bad idea. Also, in the case of being profitable, that would depend on the market, but however, when taking into account its use case and how far it has grown, then there is every need to believe it will be profitable at the long run, however the price it will get to in the near future if you buy now, can't be predicted by anyone. Therefore, in order to get started and since you are going to hold for a long time, wait for more price dump and buy.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your predictions for the next Alt to pump after what happened to Doge? on: January 31, 2021, 07:35:36 PM
I must say that I am impressed with your list of altcoins you are holding because these are good altcoins of which many of them are on the range of top 25 on coinmarketcap and you also did the right thing by selling your Doge at a good price as it is always good to take profit. Nevertheless, what happened with Doge was not predicted, at least to the best of my knowledge, thus I think it would be hard determining the next altcoins that will experience such an insane pump, but from your list there have been talks or small hype about TRX from their CEO and who knows, it might be the next.  Also, others coins like DOT have already grown so much over the days, also you might want to keep a watch on ADA as it is one of the top coins yet to pump hard as we are meant to believe.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple (XRP) price will it recover or will it dump more? on: January 31, 2021, 07:21:22 PM
People are free to say whatever they want, at least holders will keep saying that Ripple is good and so on, while the team will be giving encouraging notes or words to their users, but for SEC to sue them means they didn't buy the gist, thus would be left for the court or whatever that is In charge of the case to decide if Ripple is subject to securities law or not. Also, since the future of Ripple is uncertain owing to this present case, then anyone who want to buy should do so with utmost discretion and carefulness, because Ripple is standing on an edge and if the case goes against them or do not go in their favour, then the price will be terrible, moreover some exchanges are delisting it already  which further adds to the uncertainty of its future; that is to say, no one knows what will happen to it this year, until the final verdict.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The low latency and scalability issues plaguing Ethereum.  on: January 30, 2021, 11:25:58 AM
When it comes to Bitcoin, a lot of people says it has slow transactions confirmation and so on, many developers then came out with the claim to develop a more better blockchain with speed and faster transactions confirmation but yet Bitcoin has succeeded in remaining in its position while all those platforms and blockchains are no where to be found now; I don't also think there is any challenging Bitcoin in that aspect again.
The same is in the case of Ethereum and many are saying a lot about it, many blockchains have been built over the years with the aim of taking over from Ethereum but yet Ethereum still remains unmovable. Therefore from these case of Bitcoin and Ethereum, I think it has to do with trust,  and both has offered it perfectly.
There is no doubt others like Polkadot is trying their best, but they still have a long way to go and that is what will determine how far they will grow to, remember that even with Ethereum latency issues, investors are still not slowing down in investing in it hence the price today while upcoming projects are not slowing down on going for it.
So in my own opinion, let's give these platforms time to see how far they will get to, because there are many competitions now or so it seems.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot or Binance Smart Chain? on: January 30, 2021, 11:07:34 AM
I think centralization is always a turn off or disadvantage when it comes to comparing most platforms with that of Binance in whichever way, that is, everything from Binance in many cases comes with huge centralization, such as its DEX, etc and that will always keep people at bay. But yet, talking about smart contracts and how needful it ought to be as decentralized as possible, then one will uphold the Ethereum blockchain, and probably that's one of the reason it keeps growing and keeping a competitive advantage. However, comparing Polkadot and Binance smart chain, I find Polkadot better because of its high rate of decentralization and that alone is an addition and considering the fact the platform is still being developed, that is to say, when more services and features have been put in place, it will be far better than Binance smart chain which has been around before it. Nevertheless, let's keep our fingers crossed and watch what Polkadot will achieve in the next few months and if the team continues working hard, they will attract a lot of users and projects and if they don't, Binance smart chain will take over.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best websites for finding ICO on: January 30, 2021, 10:54:37 AM
Hello guys,

What are the best websites in order to find upcoming ICO ?

thanks

Seeing that you are new shows you are not aware of how fraudulent ICO was. Before all other fundraising methods like IEO, IDO and so on, the first was ICO and in as much as it helped some upcoming projects to get funds and develop their project in which some are still working till date, but however, it gave room to a lot of scammers to come in and defraud Investors and because of the high rate of scams people abandoned it for IEO. Just want to educate you on the reason you should be careful of ICO projects, and although it is your choice to decide but yet you can look towards IEO on exchanges like Binance, and IDO on platforms like Polkstarter and so on. Nevertheless, endeavour to research whatever project you want to invest in and ask questions if possible.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: January 29, 2021, 08:31:47 PM
The team always have the upper hand in all these, thus the reason bounty hunters are facing a lot. Once the bounty ends, excuses will keep coming up, and in many cases they might even slash the reward without any tangible reasons, they can also implement rules which was not there from the onset just to reduce the number of people that will get the reward, and if bounty hunters complains too much, they will be reminded of the rules which states that the team and the bounty manger can change the rules and of course they always change it to their own favour.
Nevertheless, there will always be a good team which will appreciate the work and always pay when its time, but they are always few, hence we only have to look harder.
