161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Of Think My Predictions On This Multi Bet Ticket ? on: August 07, 2023, 11:26:47 PM

I have been in the same situation several times already and I understand OP's feeling of being not sure what to do.

It's already a profit and the cash-out is just one click away but there's a thing in our mind telling us that we need to proceed with our remaining bet and just wait for the final results as the chances of nailing all the parlay legs are possible while at the same time, more profit in return.

I don't want any confusion or trouble deciding so in most cases, I'm just letting all the games settled and waiting for the final result.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 06, 2023, 11:59:08 PM
With this news, it will open up an opportunity for Casimero to fight Inoue. I'm sure the former would be willing to negotiate, even if he gets a smaller share, as long as he can prove to the world that he could really beat Inoue. In the first place, Marlon Tapales wasn't in the conversation years back; it was always Casimero who

Hope this will be considered despite the fact that Casimero is currently not in the top rankings and might not even get a chance to be a contender right away for a championship belt. But maybe there's room for any chances and be considered, being him as a former champion in the 118 lbs. In the first place though, there is unfinished business between him and Inoue but the pandemic spoiled it. They can consider continuing that right now.

Don't mind the share of the pie and Casimero can just accept whatever the offer is as long as obviously, is not that totally a joke offer.

Legacy > Money for now on Casimero as the goal is to have him exchange fist with Inoue to now settle the scores. Referring to the Tapales camp, I can't comment much on the possible cancellation by them because the figures are not mentioned on how much share they will get on the pie. "No offense" but Tapales camp also knows that even as a champion, they also think that Inoue is too much for their guy and they like to demand more money instead of building a legacy. They didn't realize that more money will come to them if their guy will beat Inoue. Every boxer always wants to be in an unification fight.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's safe to say - gambling is a guy thing. on: August 06, 2023, 11:49:57 PM
Hey y'all...Seriously, I've been having this running through my mind.. maybe it's been discussed but this is on a diverse objective.
Why is it that we tend to have alot of men inclined and addicted to gambling than women? Is there any mystery guiding that?
I mean, You ain't gonna telme that everyone isn't roofed by this economic crises - both gender to speak of - so what's so special about men gambling?? Alot of cases has been reported several times too - and y'all end up realizing that MEN are usually involved in very many critical cases... What's that validating? That men are really taking the whole thing personal??

Just don't think about gambling too much. It's not a big deal whether there are more men engaged in gambling. Honestly, no offense but it's not even worth thinking on your mind as that didn't even have an effect on increasing our winning chance in gambling. Just kidding.

There's no special thing about men, no nothing related to emotions, roles, personalities, careers, and so on.

Enjoy gambling, enjoy the show, enjoy being entertained, and just do all that you want in gambling.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 06, 2023, 11:37:04 PM
The Lakers giving Anthony Davis $186,000,000 with a three year extension seems a bit insane given how much time he has missed. He’d better start staying healthy for the amount of money they’re giving him. 62 million dollars when he only plays about 50 games in a good year seems like like overpaying. I sure hope that contract doesn’t come back to bite them.

Anthony Davis is eligible for the maximum contract extension with that huge worth. Therefore, if the given contract is probably below, Davis might just spend the remaining 2 years on his contract and then consider leaving. What the Lakers do is secure him early despite being an injured prone.

In fairness to Anthony Davis, he's the only player I know that even an injury prone, he can unleash his monster performance right away after returning to play.

Referring to his last season performance, Davis was able to keep his average percentage after being sidelined for several games.

Yeah but the NBA is a contract cap league not like the major league baseball league.  Meaning if AD is injured the Lakers won't have any room to sign anyone else.  They are locked into Lebron and AD and both are older and on the downward trajectory of theor careers.  They will sell seats but they aren't going to win anything with old dudes sucking up all the cap room.

The Los Angeles Lakers are obviously not new to the business and they know how to handle anything about cap space.

They also know the consequences of giving huge contracts to their players. These guys are professional.

Anthony Davis is also not new to them being injury prone but as I mentioned, Davis is proven as "always consistent" playing even after an injury. We can't compare him to other players that once experience being injury prone, the performance will also deteriorate and a result, these players are ended up in different teams.

And no, they are not locked or the team is only about just LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Please refer to their performance on the last revamp they did on their roster in the late season. Just came up short in the playoffs but the chemistry is there. Remember that the Lakers are not even expected by the majority to enter the playoffs last season but that was changed after the last revamp, and it's not because of LeBron and Anthony Davis carrying the team.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: August 06, 2023, 11:07:18 PM
but have you ever heard on tv that someone became a millionaire with futures trading? Honestly this is something I haven't seen yet, so it's safe to say that people don't make a lot of money trading futures,

For example, if you meant for seeing lottery winners on TV, that just makes sense to see since in the first place, national lotteries are televised therefore you will really see people winning here compare obviously to winners in doing Future trading. Aside from that, Future trading is like slowly but surely a road to having a million compared to a lottery or any related gambling, that in just one shot, if lucky, will have a big win instantly.

Anyhow, it is just a matter of self-preference. Most see that Future trading is critical and the interest is not really there to learn while gambling, just place money, wait, then the result is already there. No need for any technical knowledge or so on.

We can also consider the fact that most people want an easy win without having too much effort for it.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 06, 2023, 10:54:37 PM
In this case, anyone who plays demo mode will be tempted to deposit and play in real mode thinking he will win too much since this is what he experienced when testing the game.

But just to be clear, demo mode was not originally designed to tempt users or attract them to play that game by showing only good winnings without any losses when their users played that game. Technically, the only purpose is to show the said game features and mechanics but since most users might think of having the same winning experience in demo mode, they will now be bait to deposit money and play.

Demo mode is usually used by gamblers to know how the game works and decide whether to play it or no. This is why there should be no differences between the two.

That should be the main purpose why users should check the demo mode.

But you know there are gamblers who really want to experience winning big that's why they are deceived by what the demo mode is showing them. And when they really play for real and the same winning result doesn't happen in live mode, the realization will just happen later on.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 05, 2023, 04:43:16 AM
It will be an uphill climb for Tapales for sure. Naoya, on the other hand, will be fighting against somebody who is probably easier than Fulton. He's well prepared for this. As early as now, the odds are heavily in favor of Naoya. 1/10 to 1/12 for Naoya. That's extremely low. That's 1.08 to 1.1. Tapales has 6/1 to 13/2; that's 7.0 to 7.5.

Understandable though. No doubt that the majority can just compare this fight to another easy win by Naoya Inoue like when the Japanese monster claimed all the belts in the 118 lbs division when he beat Paul Butler. The odds prior to the said fight are almost the same as the prior odds right now with this fight.

Damn, no challenge for Inoue right now in the Super Bantamweight division. He's really overqualified here.

Even looking at the current rankings in this division, those top contenders are not even close and considered par with Inoue. Still waiting for Casimero though to climb the rank as he might give Inoue a better fight but considering his performance in his previous fight against Nghitumbwa, that kind of performance is a joke if fighting against Inoue. Aside from that, still no news for Quadro Alas's next fight making the chances slim for him and Inoue facing each other soon.

Alright, what's the status of your funding now?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5440083

Is everything running smoothly now? Don't have a test run during a LIVE operation.

Several months since then, is the platform really ready for the actual operation? Don't rush if there are still lots of problems from minor to major. Running a gambling site is not a joke and since you have a concern about funding before, trust issues might be a problem and you might have difficulty finding and attracting users to play on your platform.

170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: *** Exploring Unique Advertising Opportunities in the Gambling Sector*** on: August 05, 2023, 02:14:10 AM

I don't want to give or share the possible "pros and cons" of what you are thinking but always remember that "a plan will remain as a plan" if it's not executed for real. Therefore, we will only know the result, either good or bad, after doing the said plan.

Advertising is really critical regardless of the business and industry.

Despite the fact that advertising and marketing tools are just out there, always available not a secret, most owners know the target market, and target audiences and even know what platform should be considered to throw those advertisements, why there is a struggle? It's because of the huge competition out there because everyone wants on top. The gambling industry is big and expect competition like that.

It's just a matter now of how you will execute smoothly your advertising plan. Good luck.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 05, 2023, 01:39:39 AM

There is no choice but to move forward. It's not that everything is gone and still, there's room for rebuilding.

Just consider the story as a reference to those others who will experience the same. Besides, most of us here don't know the "actual feeling" of being a big lottery winner that's why it's easy for us to give advice. But surely, when we are in the actual situation, there might be things on the way that we won't like to happen intentionally but instead, we will just go with the flow.

If fortunate things happened to us soon, no other option but to keep responsible for our own actions.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 05, 2023, 01:17:41 AM
Because of KYC verification which is now done by most crypto casino to know the people who gamble on their casino, I think anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency in crypto casino.

We should understand even way back before that soon, centralization in crypto will also affect crypto-gambling sites.

Aside from that, you might be right that most crypto casinos do have KYC but it's "not mandatory" and you can still play at most crypto-casinos freely and smoothly without undergoing KYC. These sites have no choice but to comply with regularization to make their operation "legal in papers".

Just ride the wave and just play on your usual. It's not that KYC is a big reason why our crypto-gambling should be affected.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ads for online gambling should be banned. on: August 03, 2023, 11:58:09 PM

There is no central or main authority that can regulate gambling globally. Therefore, no such thing as gambling ads should be banned everywhere. Referring to the forum, gambling advertisements will continue to be freely advertised here, much especially since this is a crypto-forum.

Gambling-related advertisements can only be banned within a certain jurisdiction - e.g. by region, country, etc.

Generally, it's hard to imagine that gambling ads will be banned in most parts of the world. Gambling is even growing even during the worst situation in the world - the global pandemic. Gambling is already part of society e.g. by means of entertainment, competition, hobby, etc. and gambling-related ads will just continue to emerge anywhere.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Slot Streamers on: August 03, 2023, 11:39:06 PM
..and wish these influencers to make a raffle of balance vouchers or free spins for viewers, lol.

I believed in most cases, almost the majority of gambling streamers do have a raffle of sorts or giveaways.

Having that giveaways or raffles is the most effective way to lure and attract viewers to the stream. These viewers don't need to really watch the stream but they will just follow the instruction in order to be eligible for the raffle like staying on that stream the entire session etc.

In the huge competition of gambling streaming and the difficulty to attract viewers, without a giveaway, it's hard to cope especially for the new streamers.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My new favorite betting method. on: August 03, 2023, 11:28:03 PM
The logic behind this betting method isn't complex at all. You bet $2 on x2 and on the next bet you sum +1 to the bet amount and it looks something like this:

Is this the so-called "advanced martingale" or another variation? Is the method a product of your own imagination or already saw that done by others?

Regardless of your winning rate, still, we can't hide the fact that all your bets are under the provably fair of the gambling site. I know you already did several tests and fortunately (or should I say luckily) you are having a good run there.

Hands-up. We all know that everything in dice is luck-based.

If your method is doing good for you, then I hope it can give you more winnings in the long run.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: August 01, 2023, 06:23:07 PM
By his statement, it looks like he doesn't feel that ROS will be competitive enough in the Jones Cup. So I'm just curious, why was ROS chosen to represent our country in that league if they are not capable of winning?

As I read the statement, it was "maka-disgrasya" and not "madisgrasya".

In other words, Coach Yeng feels instead that Rain Or Shine is surely competitive in entering the upcoming Jones Cup as they might have a chance to beat other teams there despite playing mostly with locals (the Mighty Sports before who represents the PH in Jones Cup played with several imports).

Or am I the one who misread it? lol.

Anyways, Rain-Or-Shine being the representative of the PH country in the upcoming Jones Cup will surely bring great experience to their players. Guess what, that was a tough learning camp to consider as also part of the preparation for the upcoming PBA season in the late quarter of this year.
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 01, 2023, 05:42:00 PM
Is it possible that playing slot game in demo mode has some kind of connection to playing it on live mode, like is your playing data on live mode transferred to demo mode and vice versa if at any point in time for some reason, you switch in-between those modes ?

I was surprised that someone really thinks that the demo mode's data or something along those lines does have a direct connection with the live mode. That's why it was called "demo" in the first place. To show only the best experience on that said slots. The reason for placing the demo there is to show the slot interface while at the same time, the possible winning that can take place on that slot.

Technically, the big winnings we are seeing in the demo mode can be achieved in live mode but "only" if you are really lucky enough to hit that insane multiplier.

Just for reference, the chance of hitting those insane multipliers can actually be considered not happening in reality lol.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Collective bets in local lotteries on: August 01, 2023, 05:02:26 PM
Would like to know your takes on betting as a group to raise chances in local
Lotteries

I know that mathematically the chances are still really low even if you multiply it 100x but in Brazil at least we’ve seen some local lottery prizes given for small groups of 20 or 30 people betting betting with 5000x tickets let’s say

Basically, and as mentioned, it simply just to raise the chances of winning

But take note, the level of chances is still considered low regardless of how big the numbers are in that group. Actually, it just the same as more different people betting on tickets every day but the difference is, people in these so-called groups do have a given task to intentionally increase their purchased tickets.

Might be good but personally for me, it doesn't change the fact that the winning chance is slim.

Although they indeed increased their chance of winning by doing group lottery ticket by small percentage I think there’s a big problem here on who will claim the prize if ever they win jackpot prize.

Lottery ticket has no owner imprint on it which means anyone who will be greedy on the group can solo rhe profit and hide to others.

Although that is possible, I believed at most cases that the majority of those groups are well-organized.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering - share your opinion on: August 01, 2023, 04:34:24 PM
By "tricks", do you mean something related to ways to achieve it fast? Obviously, bet higher.

As a "trick" I mean a smart way for wagering.
Betting High doesnt sound really a trick according my definitivo, unless clarified.

Technically speaking, be it a considered safe bet or not, it really depends on;

- how lucky we are
- the bet amount
- bankroll size

Smart way? Maybe I should say don't make random high-stake bets, especially in luck-based games e.g. dice, slots, roulettes, etc. While staking high is the only way to reach wagered requirements much quicker, not properly managing the bankroll here will result in a sudden bust. Referring to sports betting, don't jump to other leagues without any knowledge and just be on our usual and typical sports bettor.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: July 31, 2023, 11:16:09 PM
Some people actually think there are patterns in slot or dice games who probably think trading is also like gambling based on luck. Lottery for example is what makes it obvious since they are buying tickets every day with the same number over and over thinking it will eventually come and they get to win the biggest life-changing money. They wouldn't consider buying tickets risky when they spend just a dollar a day than trading which a trader will put a thousand.

What else can we do? Force these people who are not a fan of trading to consider trading compare to gambling.

Just let these people do what they want. These people who are lottery enthusiast surely knows the risks they are dealing with and the slim chance they are facing to win this life-changing money. We can't just tell them to do trading instead since if there is no interest, then they are just gambling their money in trading too, the same way they are doing it in gambling.

Instead, if we really want to help these people to change their gambling habit, give them a nice talk to put their money instead on something good that they really have an interest in and not that they just see other people making money out of that.
