1601  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio - Shipping from stock on: June 05, 2014, 07:03:34 PM
Hi SPONDOOLIES TECH.
If you do not reply me in time, I shall be compelled to find another company that will satisfy me.
Koist Branislav.
What a fucking kook!!!  lol.   Find another company?  Maybe BFL will satisfy you.  I hear they are really good for people who don't like to wait.

Your serious tone and threats are a riot buddy.  You think Spondoolies could give a damn if you were waiting?  No way.  Jews like their holidays as much as the next guy.  You wait for office hours like everyone else.
1602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Official Mastercoin Foundation, Master Protocol & Mastercoin Thread on: June 05, 2014, 02:38:31 PM
Here is why Mastercoin is 100% fucked forever and never going to amount to anything.

1) The management team is a joke.  Ron has only made one announcement in 6 months and it was just to tell everyone he has a 'personal assistant'.  Apparently he fancies himself as some premium executive too busy for menial tasks suitable for assistants.  Joke.

2) It took them 3 months to solve an forum issue which prevented newcomers from registering.  Therefore, there is NO participation and no energy in the community.  Everyone went to NXT which has a very nice user interface.

3) To even further block any interested parties in getting to the forum, the mastercoin foundation page http://www.mastercoin.org/ still (been that way since the beginning) has a broken URL which is supposed to point to the forum.  At the bottom of the page, the link to the forum is: https://www.mastercointalk.org/.  Doesn't work.  If one removes the 's', you'll get the correct address.  But how many people have time to tinker with broken URLs to get to the information they are looking for?  None.  They all go to NXT where shit just works.  This is a very effective way to keep forum participation to a minimum.  That is one way to deal with trolls - eh Ron?

People having some interest in the MasterProtocol try to learn more and hit deadends everywhere.  The people responsible for the frontend of the Mastercoin project have failed so miserably it isn't funny.  Ron hired a bunch of fools from TelAviv to run the website - and it has crushed the project.  NXT has a fantastic web presence.  Why doesn't someone fix this?  Time to fire Ron and get a real leader.

When is the next vote for Exec Director coming up?
1603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crowdfunding on Bitcoin on: June 04, 2014, 01:58:14 PM
I think that they would be concerned with their monopoly and declare investments in Bitcoin are non-compliant and Illegal in the United States
At least that's what I got from this thread about unregistered securities
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=637879.msg7117206#msg7117206

That is definitely a concern. The first thing they would do is seize investors funds then decide on whether or not something illegal actually occured.
Voorhees was selling 'shares'.  Quite a bit different because these other guys are selling bits of cryptography units (same like bitcoin).  I don't think it could easily be argued that maidsafecoins are 'securities'.  Lots of gray area.  However, when a guy does this style of crwdfunding and it turns out to be pure scam, then I think you'll see the man coming for you everytime.

This looks like a good direction for advanced uses of bitcoin. I can't believe these guys are pulling this off already.

What will bitcoin do next?
1604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rachel Abrams of the New York Times is a complete dumbass on: June 02, 2014, 09:04:38 PM
That's really your problem with this article? It seemed like a pretty common explanation that tries to keep things simple.
+1
In the name of keeping something simple, we can present factually incorrect information?  Stupid is as stupid does.

Writers go on and on about the mystery of 'mining', and bitcoin and related things.  Time for us to remove all this mystical bullshit and tell it like it is.  'Solving complex mathematical equations' is just blowing smoke up a nerd's ass.  Nobody is solving complex math equations.  What mining does is no more sophisticated than guessing a number.  Stop trying to make it appear that only geniuses are capable of creating bitcoin via 'solving complex mathematical equations' - utter bullshit.  Same as most writing on bitcoin - utter bullshit.

We ought to always try to inform journalists when they error.  If it takes shame, this to is a good way to get the story straight next time.  I intend to call out future dumbass reporters as they try to pass off their trash as fact.  I encourage other to also point them out by name and laugh in their face and publically ridicule them.  Modern journalists don't have editors any longer.  I am not precisely sure why that is.  But in the old days, a journalist was careful to get it right as their boss would have their ass if they made these kinds of mistakes. Today, journalists don't really care much at all about getting it right.
1605  Economy / Speculation / Re: I heard Bitcoin was suppose to go to $10 today? on: June 02, 2014, 05:06:51 AM
It's true guys, a professor in finance at the Boston University School of Management and is a former Federal Reserve Bank examiner told me so. Bitcoin is going to drop like a rock in a few hours  Roll Eyes.

yeah, well I heard it would go to $20,000.  WTF?  Who is right around here?
1606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Rachel Abrams of the New York Times is a complete dumbass on: June 02, 2014, 03:03:42 AM
This idiot can't pay attention to the facts related to the stories she writes.  http://dealbook.nytimes.com/author/rachel-abrams/

In her recent article, she wrote: "solving complicated mathematical equations to “mine” new coins." http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2014/05/29/dish-network-to-accept-bitcoin/

Here is your complicated mathematical equation:

'Guess a number between 1 and 100 trillion'
Nope
'Guess another number between 1 and 100 trillion'
Nope
'Guess another number between 1 and 100 trillion'
Nope
'Guess another number between 1 and 100 trillion'
Nope
'Guess another number between 1 and 100 trillion'
Nope
'Guess another number between 1 and 100 trillion'
Nope
'Guess another number between 1 and 100 trillion'
Nope
'Guess another number between 1 and 100 trillion'

That is mining.  It is not a complicated mathematical equation. When are writers going to begin to understand even the simplest aspects of bitcoin?

Somebody should email her a link to this post: rachel.abrams@nytimes.com

1607  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Breaking News! Bitcoin mining company threatens to kill fellow Bitcoiner via PM on: June 01, 2014, 02:48:51 PM
You're exaggerating again. He's not threatening to kill you. He's only threatening to break your arms and/or fingers.
Maybe he isn't threatening to break anything.  Maybe he is just threatening to glue his fingers with Super Glue.

Oh sweet tap-dancing satoshi on a pile of Bitcoin, this really takes the cake.

Talk about misunderstanding market dynamics

You are a moron of very high order.  Your writing is complete bullshit.

1610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buckle UP buttercup!!! on: May 26, 2014, 09:26:30 PM
It is total garbage.  They lose thousands of customers everyday because they don't make the application available without 'send a request'.  You must give your email so you can be spammed to hell for the next 5 years.  I just want to download the damn thing to try it.  But there is no download page.  You must 'send a request'.  The minute I see a form which ask for my email and has 'send a request' on it - I bail.  100% quit.  A real estate agent website I was on last month lost $30000 fees because his stupid page has 'send a request' on it.  My fucking request is implicit because I am on your fucking site looking at your shit.  My request is embodied in the fact that I am looking on the internet for your shit.  Don't make it hard to download your app and you have a change to get people to download it.  Force people to give their email address and 'send a request' and you will limit your users by 4:1 by my estimate.  Who has time to 'send a request'?  Just give me the fucking download page.
1611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitcoin Foundation on: May 23, 2014, 10:58:28 PM
Well, if it reforms with Gavin and Andreas it will absolutely the same shit.

They are charismatic, that's the only reason why OP and many people separate them from the dirt and criminal TBF. They two and their close friends from the TBF are the root of all evil. There is no way to separate them from TBF, Karpeles and you name it.

Ideally any org taking some important role in Bitcoin should not have any relation with any TBF member.

What?!  Are you mad?

If an issue comes before the foundation it is clear the Gavin and Andreas will consider the longterm good of bitcoin in making a decision.  Conversely, nothing is more clear that Brock Pierce IS HIGHLY CONFLICTED

For example, OP_Return.  Pierce as an big investor in Mastercoin would definitely lobby hard to make a liberal accommodation for OP_Retun.  His personal business interests don't always match bitcoin's long term interests.  He should dismiss himself.  Even the appearance of impropriety is severely damaging to bitcoin.  Forget about the ugly lawsuit and DEN and IGE and other shit he was involved with.  The mere fact that his business positions are extensive and often in conflict with bitcoin long term interests means he should not participate - BY HIS OWN judgment - he should leave.

Gavin and Andreas have not shown even the slightest lean away from the long term best interests for bitcoin.

The Foundation as it is today is seriously compromised.  Dissolve it.
1612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitcoin Foundation on: May 23, 2014, 08:41:47 PM
I personally see it as a reasonably democratic process. If you're not happy with the current board/governement, you don't ask them to withdraw. Nothing would ever be done that way.
Haven't you ever heard of a 'no confidence' vote?  Dumbass.

If you're so far from giving them any legitimacy, why do you even care about what they do?
Because they have enormous potential to fuck things up HUGE.  You don't think that Pierce will be lobbying hard for advantages which help his companies efforts?  He for sure has set the tone to screw everyone to make a profit for his company.  It is a clear conflict of interest to have someone so vested in various private efforts as he is.  Andreas will vote for the maximum good of bitcoin everything.  Brock Pierce will be trying every angle to rig the system to help GoCoin.  Booby Lee might be a very nice guy - I never met him.  But he too is too stacked up with personal interests which do not align well with general bitcoin interests.

The present board is corrupt and broken.  We need a no confidence vote to encourage them to voluntarily leave and form a new one.  They really need to fire themselves.

Having a lame foundation is bad for bitcoin.  Let's form a strong one.
1613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitcoin Foundation on: May 23, 2014, 07:31:18 PM
It would be better if this discussion took place in the Bitcoin Foundation forums. Most of the people that post here about the Bitcoin Foundation aren't even members, so what they think doesn't really count.
The opposite is true.  What the foundation thinks of itself is unimportant.  What the bitcoin community (bitcointalk) thinks is of greatest importance.  This discussion should take place here where the foundation can't easily influence its outcome.
1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: May 23, 2014, 12:19:16 AM
COURT ACTION

DO ITTTTT
This is totally stupid.  They haven't even missed their shipping date yet.  The other guys had 6 months past the shipping date before a lawsuit was filed.  So far, KnC hasn't even broke their promise.  They still give out refunds left and right.  Why are you going to sue them.  About 5 guys are being dumbasses and doing a ton of screaming.  Idiots.
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Official Mastercoin Foundation, Master Protocol & Mastercoin Thread on: May 23, 2014, 12:16:22 AM

Why would someone request payment in mastercoins if they were going to convert it to bitcoins immediately?

They knew the payer was a large MSC holder, and the payer (who is a generous, trusting soul) wanted to get the payee more invested in the MSC ecosystem while working on some private MSC projects. After my warning that the payee would almost certainly crash the market, they spoke and the payee said they would only sell ~10% on the open market, but I was dubious that this person who never had the next months rent would suddenly develop responsible money habits.

Sure enough, the entire sum went straight to MasterXChange. Bah.

I'm a little annoyed that this happened to be sure, but it doesn't affect our long-term prospects. Just an opportunity to get some cheap MSC, IMHO.
It kind-of reminds me of the time when MSC was at .25 and you decided to sell and made a major announcement to that effect.  The market crashed almost exactly the same way.  After these crashes, interest and devs leave the project (Tachikoma).  There should have been some kind of 'lock out' agreement which prevented mass selling by insiders looking to crash the project momentum.  What a shame really.
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Official Mastercoin Foundation, Master Protocol & Mastercoin Thread on: May 23, 2014, 12:11:55 AM

I'm convinced that as we demonstrate more uses for MSC (for instance, the distributed exchange between MSC and child tokens), we'll have more people enter on the buy side.
The 'distributed exchange' has no (practical) UI and is horrible.  It is so unusable, that nobody uses it.  For user friendliness, MSC gets a clear 'F'.  This is why the project is dying.  Newcomers are VERY turned off in just a brief moment.

1617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Autumn Radtke murdered due to something she knew about Brock Pierce, et al.? on: May 22, 2014, 11:57:52 PM

Dude, what's the worst that could happen? I might commit suicide via trying to fly off some high-rise located ~4000 blocks due east of my home?

What's the worse that could happen?  Brock Pierce could hire guys to throw you off the same building they threw that chick off.  I'd shut the fuck up if I were you.
1618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yet Another Brock Pierce Thread on: May 17, 2014, 03:26:12 PM
First of all, the events portrayed have nothing to do with "Pedophilia," which is a sexual attraction to prepubescent minors.  They are about sex between adults and individuals in their mid teens and above, which while biologically normative, is proscribed in our society to prevent people in positions of power from taking advantage of people with little or no power of their own.  Pedophilia is not about sexually mature people having sex with other sexually mature people, no matter how inappropriate or power-disparate such encounters may be.  It is common in the gutter press and other places that should know better, to use "pedophilia" as a pejorative to refer to adult attraction to teens and as the name of a crime.
So your argument is that since Prock Bierce likes nailing teenage boys rather than children, he is an OK guy, 'normative'?  wtf? What about his previous company where he screwed his partner out of millions?
1619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Petition to recall Brock Pierce on: May 17, 2014, 03:11:44 PM
Lol my bad I Read this wrong and thought no ment he should be kicked out. So really I ment to vote Yes that he should be kicked out.

I can think of at least one club (mantra below) you will never be a member of due to your lack of understanding issues.  Grin

"none of my partners or my friends have an issue with it because they are reasonably intelligent people, that have had the ability to think for themselves.’’
Who does BP claim isn't thinking for themselves?  Looks like about 4:1 thinkers think he needs to go.
1620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] Do you like or hate the Bitcoin foundation? on: May 16, 2014, 08:53:36 PM
No, of course not. Your motives are in question not your facts. Shock value posting is so "last year". You need to come up with a new schtick. Oops, did I just make a Yiddish reference. Sorry. LOL
Is it necessary for one to rotate his schtick yearly?  I was unaware of this.

Besides, I don't know what is so shocking about Ploshay being a jew.  I wasn't shocked when I found out.  Jews love being in control of money.  What about this shocks you?
