Wont the government have to state officially somewhere how much they sold them for? Would seem a bit shady if they didn't disclose this info.

Government - shady?  Are you kidding?
1562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Over 150,000 Bitcoins moved from an address today, cryptic public note attached. on: July 03, 2014, 02:29:11 PM
"Blockchain Graffiti" LOL

Crazy to leave so much in a single wallet though.

How does one attach a public note 'spam' to the transaction?  Can't this be prevented?  I hate crypto-begging

I also doubt the original design of Neptune was meant to have 5 chips, like maybe it WAS supposed to be like Jupiter, and the chips were a bit slower than planned.
I think that is 100% obvious in view of the fact that the original pictures showed a four chip design (same as Jup).  When they found out how crappy the chip would actually perform, they went to the five-cube scheme.  The real shame is, without waiting at all you can achieve 3.3TH with 7 Antminer S3 for only 6.75BTC.  I paid 18 BTC for my Neptune and I am still hanging on for delivery after MONTHS of waiting.  KnC fucked it all up.  They ought to make good on this fiasco for their loyal customers.  A free Neppy in September isn't going to help catch up to where we ought to be.  KnC left their customers to drown in the shit this time.

The only way this works out for KnC is if they become a 'pure mining' entity from here on.  No hardware customers ever again.

Hi folks,

I wanted to point out this interesting 'forum debate' between Mastercoin and Counterparty on the Storj forum.
Don't go sucking Storj's dick; they need MSC not the other way around.  Counterparty is a cheap clone of MSC with a thin team who did nothing more than rip off the MSC concept and build a few cool add-ons.  If Storj goes that way, they'll suffer for it  -  but it will not diminish MSC at all.

There is only one thing to do - make MSC better.  Get back to work and get the protocol stronger.  Don't waste time chasing those guys who bring nothing for the protocol.  If MSC didn't fuck up the MaidSafe deal, they'd be a million miles in the lead now.  Just have to figure a way to do the next deal better.

Storj doesn't bring anything to MasterProtocol - MasterProtocol brings everything to them.

Let Robby McPeobody keep developing his MSC clone with his hidden treasure of millions of shares.  A system owned and controlled by one guy.  In the long run, that one-man-show collapses like a wet paper bag.

Keep your eye on the ball.

Rawdawg, you seem to have this big crush on me,  because not more than a few posts of yours go by on this thread before you bring my name up,  again and again and again. Just so you know,  major decisions by the counterparty core team are made by consensus between Adam,  Evan, and I,  along with the community,  as appropriate. No one ever makes major decisions unilaterally. This is how it has been since the start,  by design. (and thus,  there is no "big dick CEO"... Sorry to bust your bubble there)

Past that,  I'd appreciate if you could keep your ad hominem remarks to yourself.

That's pretty funny, today is the first day I learnt that 'xnova' is Robby.  So, not that big of a crush actually.  I just remember you fondly from the time when you came to MasterPeople and said: "You need to do...", "What's wrong with you is...",  "I've done many projects...", "You need me or you will die..".

That's how you got the 'big swinging dick' moniker - not because anyone thinks you are the CEO.  Asshole.

You guys keep working hard, MasterProtocol enjoys having you working on their testbed platform so they can incorporate any good ideas you might come up with - no matter how improbable that is.

Newegg -> eBay & Apple -> Amazon.com -> 1,000 valuation -> People of China begin to realize their clueless government fucked them over -> Chinese reinvestment, this time permanent -> we're all rich.

Prophet Beliathon has spoken.
let it be, hopefully the 9 btc im holding would give my kids the future they deserve.

lets go btc! opps back to work.

$6000 bucks for your kids future?  That's all they deserve?
talking about the future in price buddy, not in the present value of btc. 6000 could turn into 60k or 600k who knows!
Well, they are your kids, I guess you know what they are worth.  I figured most people would be willing to kick down a few more bucks when investing in their own flesh and blood.  Who is going to take care of you when you get old?

In their own fucked up kind of way, I believe KNC have just told everyone there are going to be substantial delays shipping the rest of the Neptunes.

Quote
We’re continuing with deliveries of Neptunes as fast as we can produce, but the demand for Neptunes has been bigger than the successful yield of 20nm wafers has been able to satisfy.

Always with the bullshit. They know exactly what the "demand" for Neptunes is, as they took the pre-orders 7 months ago! Seeing as so many people refunded, they should have MORE than enough chips to go round.

But it's more likely, now that they have successfully "started" shipping, they will ignore customer orders.

Shipping "starting" in Q2 was all they promised.

And as that happened, they can now focus on filling up their own new datorhall 2 & 3 & 4 & 5 first Cheesy
Ya know, one grenade late at night will fix this problem.  Do it at night so nobody gets hurt, but I think this should sufficiently slow their hash rate - and improve yours.
1569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Campaign - to get Office Depot to accept bitcoin on: June 29, 2014, 05:54:11 AM
I don't think it's legal to just anonymously send bitcoin to support a campaign. If I'm correct, he won't be able to use the funds at the address above unless you go through the donation page and identify yourself.
Are you on drugs?
1570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann] Safecoin maidsafecoin on: June 28, 2014, 12:15:04 AM
So...any word on if/when the safecoin network will get rolling?
That thing was dead on arrival.   They knew that would never happen.  It was an old recycled idea they used to pump up an illegal public offering.  Now they are just waiting until all interest is lost.  MaidSafe will never launch.  It was another IPO scam.

With all the BS going on with the board members,
What BS is going on with the board?
1573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Official Mastercoin Foundation, Master Protocol & Mastercoin Thread on: June 22, 2014, 08:47:54 PM
With board member Z's offline wallet now depleted, and X's and Y's untouched, can we get proof that X's and Y's are still in control of the board?

It looks awfully suspicious that they split the funds between 3 wallets and now the remaining funds are split between 2 wallets, that have not been used.

Boy it would really be nice if the board was open with the reasoning to only spend from one of the wallets.
I thought last month someone discovered 1000BTC 'missing' - i.e. spent but not properly accounted for.  Is that true?
1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Official Mastercoin Foundation, Master Protocol & Mastercoin Thread on: June 22, 2014, 07:12:19 PM

Anyway, he got kicked out of the MasterProtocol for doing that.  They made him and Sam Yilmaz go away to start a thing called the DApp Fund 1.  Now, the boss at MasterProtocol is Ron, JR, and some other guy.

Do you got a source for this or is it pure bullshit from ghosts in your head?
You didn't see his new project: DApp Fund 1?  It is all over the internet if you bothered to read about it.  Don't believe me?  Have a look at this...

Poor marketing by david or curtis? Bad idea? Maybe, just maybe, mastercoin's reputation is tarnishing the crowdsales on the network?
I'd love to invest in this one.  It is an awesome idea.  The only trouble is, once I give my $50,000 they will simple change the rules so Brock Pierce and other MSC whales can put another huge chuck of money in thier pockets.  Why should I lose another $50,000 because MasterProtocol thinks it is OK to change the rules in the middle of the deal?  No thanks.

If you think the API Network failure has anything at all to do with the quality of the project - you'd be wrong.  It has everything to do with a fundraising platform that can be manipulated to take money from one group and give it to another group - 'in the name of fairness' according to David Irvine.  Fucker.

I seriously doubt ANY project will ever successfully fund on MasterProtocol again.

Bottom line: MasterProtocol managers fucked up with their 'price fix' scheme = .2 MSC/BTC and totally destroyed all faith in the protocol and ability of its managers to act fairly.  No recovery on the horizon.  Shame really, because the idea was pretty good.

If you guys would have done anything else than complain you would've known that David Johnston sold maidsafecoins for mastercoins even after the fundraising was over, the the same price as during the crowd sale.
Lol no he didn't. Or maybe he did, but only to his friends. I tried and didn't even got a response from him.

Anyway, he got kicked out of the MasterProtocol for doing that.  They made him and Sam Yilmaz go away to start a thing called the DApp Fund 1.  Now, the boss at MasterProtocol is Ron, JR, and some other guy.

I think they must be burning in everyone's Neptunes before shipping next week.  Holy shit!  That is a bunch of new Hash power hooked up to the network.

JR, you recently announced you would be using your msc to support ipo's on the mastercoin protocol. Since Api Network is not accepting msc, does that mean you will not be supporting them? Or are you going to sell some of your msc so you an buy some api coins?
It appears the API Network fundraising is a raging failure: https://blockchain.info/address/12Stz3hoF1sY9J12GyMhsAGBa16vWrmufG

I am afraid even JR can't fix this disaster.  Nobody will trust Mastercoin again.  Masterprotocol will simply change the rules during the fundraising and shift tons of value from one group to another group (Mastercoin whales).  Why would anyone want to participate in a Mastercoin fundraiser?  Fool me once, shame on you...

Now that API Network only raised 35/4000+ BTC, what will they do with those funds?  Surely they can't continue their plan on that meager amount.  Will they refund?

Mastercoin is a meltdown.

>> looks like KnC is on Swedish holiday.

They've been on holiday for months now.  Just wait until August when they get drunk out of their fucking minds and spend all night vomiting in the streets of Stockholm.  We won't hear a word out of them then.  I'll be getting my Neptune in late September - if I am lucky.
