1621  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I accumulate bitcoin as a newbie? on: May 16, 2023, 01:34:10 AM
No there are other options to earn bitcoin without spending any amount. And that are joining some free airdrops although this is not 100% sure that you can earn but at least you have a chance to gain for free if there is a legitimate platform will pay to its early bird users.
Yes theres an airdrop of bitcoin here? But I did mentioned some raffles. Most airdrops are earned in altcoins well if they earned those tokens they could trade that into stables and convert to bitcoin. Im sure some are doing this like me. Can you share some airdrops of bitcoin you said? Aside from the 2009 or 2010 free bitcoin like before when downloading their software. Surely OP talks about the time now.
1622  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am confused !!!! on: May 15, 2023, 02:47:46 PM
Good day to you all, I am new here and I will like to get your advice, apart from bitcoin,do you think that there is a high possibilities of making profit from other altcoins.
Yes there are plenty of choices on the altcoin space that might give you profits. But make sure you are doing a due diligence with those alts cause some are money grab and if you havent experience trading some tokens especially new one then you might loss a lot of money. I think focus on major altcoins so that you might not be scared of being burn. Pick a low to mod marketcap and has a good platform and product.
1623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on potential portfolio on: May 15, 2023, 08:59:50 AM
Probably to spread your egg on different basket. Some will argue to focus on bitcoin but if we talk about investment gaving different choices is much better cause well have choice to pick which one is bettet and possiblt chance to make it on bull run season. If you focus on btc alonex then your profits are possibly calculated. But its a different story when we talk about alt projects.
1624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS an asset. Do you think it's bad? on: May 15, 2023, 07:13:40 AM
What do you guys think about that? Do you think it's okay that we as a community treat Bitcoin as an asset and not as a technology that should be used to give people freedom from the banks?
Why not both? Its quite bias that you talked to people and thats what they answered. Its best that youved asked here since many could voice out what they think. But for me, it signify as an asset for now and store of value since Im not using it on my daily needs or transaction. Maybe if bitcoin adopted more it could be a useful for everyone and establishments already recognize that to use on their stores, shops, restaurant. But I think a long way to go to be global yet. But some already using it for that purpose already.
1625  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is importance of old bitcoins that woke up and moved in 2023? on: May 15, 2023, 06:37:17 AM
I read some discussions that those old bitcoin movements can create fear on the market. People think those old bitcoins can be dumped on the market and will cause a price fall.
Actually it is. Imagine someone hybernate for a long time and a massive bitcoin amount is suddenly will be send to an exchange like 10k bitcoin, of course this will make everyone worried. Somehow those old bitcoin users are probably selling it especially if they are just a normal people and dont associated with trading itself. They can also talk to exchanges for otc deals instead to avoid being dumped on instead.
1626  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I accumulate bitcoin as a newbie? on: May 14, 2023, 10:20:16 AM
My advice to accumulate bitcoin as a newbie would be to spend time researching and participating in forums etc and you will accumulate satoshis at the same time that you accumulate experience and knowledge. If you spend time learning you'll earn bitcoin one way or the other.
Thats also another options learn well and get your rank high and join signature. Theres no other way to get bitcoin without investment here aside from signature or join some raffle or free giveaway bitcoin here. But OPs talking about probably the investment part since he is asking if his gonna wait to go down. So my response is about dca instead.
1627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins ? on: May 14, 2023, 09:37:03 AM
These days everyone is talking about the Meme coins and they are trending. Do you like investing in MEME coins ?

Do you like Meme coins and what are your Opinions on Meme coins. I understand Meme coins have no use case but they have hype and that's what you need to make money.
Apparently yes. Its not that they are useful or have amazing use case. But its price action depend on the community support and hype. Its like you are investing on them for a very short period of time then youll take profit once its realized. Dont love them like a typical L1 project on alts. Once they take off and the profits are good for you then sell it. Sometimes most memecoin are just doing rug so better be careful to choose which one youll ape in. But the trick here isnt doing huge money. A fraction ia enough since ita a risky one. Always expect losses with this. But once you hit jackpot then all the loses will be compensated.
1628  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I accumulate bitcoin as a newbie? on: May 14, 2023, 07:59:46 AM
Finally, should I do it now that the price is not stable or I should wait a little in case it goes down again?  We are all here to learn.
Since others suggested the best wallet already. Now I think tou shouldnt wait or assume its already high or low. No one can accurately predict that but I suggest that if you have fund on a regular basis do a timely buying of bitcoin like averaging so that you could buy at cheaper or if does goes down youll get cheaper. But for now bitcoin is totall fine and still far from ATH.
1629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You are still very early on: May 14, 2023, 07:41:02 AM
For long term it is. Ive been grinding with somr altcoins just to accumulate gains for bitcoin investment. Its not bad to play with some alts since its multiplier is much better than bitcoin. Thats my play. Even if someoen advice me to stay away from alts, well they cant persuade me to focus on bitcoin alone since I know how the gains are much easier made on alts than bitcoin. Im not a whale so just gonna do a way to make my little capital to swell first beforr focusing on an expensive bitcoin.
1630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PEPE time to buy NOW? on: May 13, 2023, 03:25:33 PM
5000% PROFIT IN MAY POSSIBLE TO ALL ?
For Pepe Im not sure cause its a lot of cash inflow to have a 5000% gains. Maybe if it goes down more maybe its applicable. But I guess no one can really predict the market since we are still in bull run but if ever those percentage I think Pepe can achieve that on bull as long as major coin coincide with the relative movement of the market. If bitcoin goes up continously then these alts will likely to move too.

1631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Venom Foundation testnet Quest on Zealy on: May 13, 2023, 09:44:10 AM
I wanted to ask you to include the link to the website but you said in the last paragraph that the link contains a referral which is against inst the forum rule so at this junction,  you may just give an insight into the project and with a Google search one can figure out what it is from there.
Here it is mate. https://venom.network/ the task are very organized and easy to understand. I think with the smoothness of the campaign task everyone would join with this. Plus the project already raised $1b so I think they have plenty of funds to improve more before mainnet launch.

Can you share why you are excited about this project or why they will get whitelisted once they go public?
This is an assumption based on the qualifier of sui project for the allowlist and some pojects like cetus and others in which considered participants on the one Ive talking about.

You can post referral links if the topic is very useful and the referral links are an addition, but to avoid being reported, you can help with an explanation, and someone may ask you to send them in private if the project is good.
Good idea. I just dont want to be reported if links with refferal isnt allowed. But the campaign have points if you refer someone cause there is a leaderboard. Thats how zealy want for their every project.

I just hope this is one of the protocols that people will just test or get involved with just to farm the airdrops
You can check for yourself if the platform seems nice. Just sharing and its up on your judgement to find it interesting or not. Airdrop is an assumption, but most likely they will do to increase community popularity.

NOTE: I was informed that the zealy campaign on discord might not be legit since the tean is denying the connection but the Venom testnet on their offcial website is correct. will update once there is a confirm task of zealy from venom but dont engage on task or deal with zealy if this is really fake then someone using venom's name for the 50k venom tokens reward.
1632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Venom Foundation testnet Quest on Zealy on: May 13, 2023, 07:59:00 AM
Hello everyone Im not sure if you already heard about Venom foundation testnet. Surely some of you already did. Ive stumble upon the Zealy Quest campaign and I think this might be a potential requirement for airdrop or at least become eligible for possible whitelist if ever they got a public sale.

Ive already done the testnet and been waiting also for additional tasks since I think there would be more to come. Let me know if you knew something or news about.

Not sure if invite  link to the discord is allowed posting here but will share if its fine. Though it has some referral link thing.
1633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the do's and dont's of signature on: May 13, 2023, 06:19:06 AM
That's the beauty if diversity, because reading all day serious discussions between DdmrDdmr and fillippone, to name two of the best members here, although highly educational, wouldn't be appealing for common mortals, and it is not so bad to have some filler in between.
Im not even sure if those two are still human. For me they are like chatgpt of the forum. If im not mistaken Ive traslated a thread by Fillippone before cause I really like the content of what he made. These people also LoyceV contributed a very important topics here. Data, interesting curiousity topics, and even more. But I like some witty guys as well who can crack humors aside from the seriousness they contributed.
1634  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Man Who Saw Tomorrow on: May 12, 2023, 03:18:57 PM
True to it, bitcoin is not yet 20 years old, and we are already seeing very large transaction volumes that are taking almost forever to get to the recipients. We don't know when this will end or how it will end, but we are sure that whenever it ends, bitcoin will still be standing.
This is a general assumption and even we dont yet on the 20years something like this should be expected cause he himself can see some flaws or assume a problem along the way. Of course not every system are perfect and this is something we also take into account. He knows very well a possible problem to his creation and being like that means his really a genius. Who can predict orfinals can make such traffic isnt it.
1635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PEPE AI Scamcoin ? on: May 12, 2023, 08:56:18 AM
Is the PEPE AI scamcoin or another memecoin ?
Another memecoin. I think Ive been able to play with that and do 3x from initial entry, though it could have been 7x since Im early out. But its fine profit is profit. Im not sure if they are scam but most likely they will grabbed some of the money from it for sure. So as a trader it would be best to always take profit and dont regret whether it goes big cause you dont know what would happened right. Plus these memecoins have timeline they could rug that or abandon it anytime.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Binance Innovation Zone on: May 12, 2023, 07:34:41 AM
it's basically a category for those coins that aren't really worth to get listed by binance, majority of the formerly popular coin yet have lose their trading volume and get into the innovation zone are definitely just gonna outright gets delisted since coming back for these dying altcoins would be too hard.
How about some tokens like SLP. Im sure it did loses its trading volume compared to before. But it does means they retain their innovative approach? Im sure with the normal zone and innovative zone, there must be a required activity auch as trading volume and its not about the project improvement since for sure its important to them to see if the token still actively been traded. High volume means people are still into it means people see growth to what they are doing.
1637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long the high transaction fees will last? on: May 12, 2023, 07:02:59 AM
Real scaling? That would mean finding a way to make data that has to be processed by each node smaller and smaller, and therefore making what the network requires from full nodes lower and lower.
Seems impossible but we dont knownin the future if someone can able to configure such tech for this to work. But I doubt the scenario wouldnt slow down for months as Social media keeps getting attention on these ordinals. The more people expose to this then many more would be interested to waste high gas fees just to earn a fraction of potential profits from high floor prices on dapps supporting the ordinals. More pain for bitcoin users small or big people.
1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long the high transaction fees will last? on: May 11, 2023, 09:25:22 AM
High fees might also be a blessing. It forces people with paper-hands to HODL while demand for Bitcoin goes higher.
Thats a positive perspective. However its like being force to hold due to the fees, but bitcoin circulation have been halt for people who dont want to spenf some fees too. Yes it could boost price since many wouldnt not spend for high fees and instead wait for it to decrease. Also a smart move but this will categorize people as holder or investors. Bitcoin is nice to be used if possible in transacting peer to peer like remittance can send easily.

Some people are calling it an "attack"? Thank the "attackers" for making Bitcoin more valuable from an economic perspective.
Im curious if this is really an attack like to fud on bitcoin but rather than an additional application of bitcoin through ordinals which is found by someone. However the utlity of those ordinals somehow vague and only for trading through their dapps. Unless someone could step up and make it more useful instead of an expensive jpeg. Well still early maybe some satoshi like genius could fix the high rate fees and include those ordinals on bitcoin chain without affecting. I believe someone will solve this if not now maybe for quite sometime.
1639  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the do's and dont's of signature on: May 11, 2023, 09:15:22 AM
Everything you do on the forum does not have to be inspired by the signature out promote. It is good to be a regular forum person.
Thats right. But sometime we cant argue to this as some are really posting for the sake of their requirements. Finding topics you are into are also hard so if you somehow engage in unfamiliar one, then adapt and read and maybe youll learn something beneficial to the topic. Apparently, people are barking even they doesnt even understand what they are explaining. Youll noticed that when you see them how to engage in certain boards.
1640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Venom Token Potential Reward For Early TestNet Users - Guide on: May 11, 2023, 05:30:53 AM
One way or another, you will have to join the Discord, since there you need to publish a report on the work done in the test network. It is possible that the airdrop distribution will take into account the date when you joined the Discord, since this was previously implemented by SUI. Therefore, it is better to do it now, when the load on the network is minimal.
Yeah damn right. But I think its important as well the transaction done, but I feel it need some more requirement to limit the sybil for this airdrop if ever. Since the wallets have been created are already massive and we surely have some farmers from them. SUI was poorly give credits to their early community as the only requirement is joining discord to be allowlist.
