What's the most bullish thing imaginable? I would like some brainstorming please.

Greece.

Not wishing for it though.

Be careful what you're wishing for Richy_T... I'm living there and I SURE AS HELL wishing it. Wink

Adam, time to change the poll, "<250 within 24hours" is pointless now.

Admin, why not create a poll like ">250 within 24hours"?

Let's see how high the bounce could be? And will this be THE bottom?

That moment when you realize that YOU SAW THE BOTTOM... Grin

Who would have known. History is repeating once more. So, is BTC dead yet trolls, or should I come back later?  Grin

Blood in the streets.
Is anybody going to buy?
I'm a lot of $ down but would anybody recommend buying now?

It's nothing but a gut call. If you're gonna stay long, no better time than this. If you're gonna short, wait a bit. Wink

It's not nice now for the poor Lamby. The price is going North again. I bet he starts ignoring those who say the truth at his face Tongue

Surely there must be better way to liquidate BTC250k btc then on the market in a 2day period  Undecided

That's what was said when some fool dumped 30k @$300.  I.e. more than a hundred bucks above current price.

I think that the 30k coin purchase was a staged event (someone bought his own coins) by some desperate people, trying to jump-start a trend reversal. Volume before and after this purchase didn't add up with people racing to the exchanges to get those "cheap coins" (like the 30k purchase tried to show).

This in the other hand looks real, and it's only the beginning.

Sorry.  I was trying to say that "on the market" is about the only way one can possibly get rid of 250K BTC.  Especially when the market is the way it is.
I think macsga still believes in shadowy cartels just dying to snap up some failing coin @ above market, just like "they did during the fabulous USMC auction."

Cultish behavior and conspiracy theories usually go hand in hand Smiley

Cultist behaviour
and conspiracy theories are for people who cannot understand the math. Come back when you manage to pass the 1st semester and we'll talk again...

@Lamb: When you present a reasonable cause for your babbling pl0x, then you may get a proper answer. Until then troll away all you like.

I'm frightened, Auntie Em! I'm frightened!
Dorothy? Dorothy? Where are you? It's me, Auntie Em! We're trying to find you! Where are you?
I'm here in Oz, Auntie Em! I'm locked in the witch's castle, and I'm trying to get home to you, Auntie Em!
  *Auntie Em's image fades out*
Oh, Auntie Em, don't go away! I'm frightened! Come back! Come back!

Such acting, much entertaining, very wow. Do it again! I like it! Grin

Going so soon? I wouldn't hear of it. Why my little party's just beginning.
Thought you were pretty foxy, didn't you? Well! The last to go will see the first three go before her! And your mangy little dog, too!

The only mangy dog I've seen in here for years... was... wait... you?  Grin

1637  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2015, 11:00:52 AM
paradoxal thing is that people acting as the good guys saying "no worry, relax and hodl" since 900 don't really helped after all.

must be insiders/nsa infiltrating and manipulating naïve minds from the beginning and we just didn't see it  Smiley

Maybe it is like this. But maybe -just maybe- you're seeing UFOs and claim you have a photograph as well. Well show it to us! FWIW: It's a matter of perspective. For me it's OK to hodl since whatever I own cost me peanuts to get in 2011-12. For you (or others) who bought @ 800 it's not that way. Take a bit to think though. Is it sane to sell right now if you're one of these guys? Was it @ 400?

Bitcoin is not a "safe haven". Never was. Either you believe in it, or you don't. There's no middle case here.

PS: I wish I was NSA. But unfortunately for me and you, I'm just another poor bastard living in Greece. Undecided
1638  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2015, 10:49:25 AM
A piece of advice:

Relax and grab some popcorn. If you feel anxious, get away from your computer and don't check the price. Comments from the trolls here won't help either. I want to see where LambTroll & Sisters will be when the price will start violently going North again. Ah, yeah. They will be selling YOUR coins which you're desperately selling right now. It has happened 2-3 times since 2011. It will happen again.

This thing is annoyingly repetitive. HODL people. Hold and relax.
1639  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 12, 2015, 10:57:04 PM

Where did all the volume go?

 Undecided

There was never much volume.
Most volume is faked. All the chinese exchanges have done it in the past and probably stamp, gox and btc-e as well.
But seriously, gentlemen... Where IS all the volume? Has someone switched all the bots off?

Calm before the storm maybe? Who knows. I will just leave this here:
