Tawsix ... Until / if the GLBSE system reports where a dividend originated from, can you please place the following in the first post (keep the total payout to date value if you want - I realise that has impact too) ... Date, Total Payout, Payout / share This makes it much easier to check that dividends have been received correctly into the GLBSE accounts. This isn't a trust issue with you, it is a necessary bit of admin, when everything is so beta still a.t.m. Dividends are paid out! Please read the previous post with numbers and information: Dividends have been paid out! A total of 53.87 BTC was generated. 15 BTC was used to pay for electricity. 19.435 BTC was paid out to investors, and an equal amount was reinvested in the company to pay for my shares. The following is a report detailing SIN purchases and expenses since the last payout:
Money spent on new rigs (4): $4606.26 Money spent on electric bill: $224 Money spent on electrical hardware: $352.12 Total spent: $5182.38
Thanks again to all of the investors! I will be working tonight on getting the last two rigs up. I will post an update then. Happy Fourth of July to all our American partners! We're going to have dividend's source showing by this friday, along with other tweaks, bugfixes, and a new face. Happy belated 4th of July. Way to show those Brit's.

I'm looking for a slight re-design of GLBSE, you can see the original site here glbse.com Actually it's just a few images/buttons I need, maybe a little css to place them correctly So I want a nice, shiny Web2.0 image that looks something like the red/yellow/green stripe going across. Nice pretty signup button (that partially goes over the background image (which is a link BTW) A get Capital Now button/sticker and a slightly restyled nav menu. All the above should fit the general theme of GLBSE as it currently is. Feel free to make any changes you think work well. Needs to be done by Friday. Give me a service I'm happy with and I'm sure I can give you a price you're happy with (post below or pm me what you're looking for, cheapest offer isn't guaranteed to get it, I want quality/speed damit!). Nefario.

You don't really "install" a web client.

No problem.
Still working on voting, such an odd error.

The first legitimate Ponzi scheme. If you start using, the more people you get in the more you can get out, and it grows until the last ones to enter are final losers. Kind of like social security. Check it out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme

The user id issues been fixed, also cancel orders and transfer problems. Still working on voting.

I forgot if this idea has been mentioned, how about using onion layering (like on TOR), so each element of the delivery chain only knows their part and there is less need to keep online communication going between each step?
Thats what were doing.

i too see different id. DISHWARA acc key is 762ea30xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxb6a1ce
But i see 47df92xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx583328c97 in top.
same for other acc also. the key i got from dos mode is different than , key displayed on acc in web client.
i see the exact same user id hmmmm, let me check this out.

ok, accessing just fine. nice layout.
why does my user id display differently in the GUI than from what i have stored locally?
I've no idea, is it a problem? I mean is it the same id displayed differently (bigger text?) or a different id?
|
|
|
so as an existing acct owner, do i want to Add existing acct or Import existing acct?
Hmm, that's something that needs to be changed to something more obvious. You add an existing account, the import is if you've saved it to a backup textfile.

Client's updated, fixed a few issues with withdrawls and other things.
SSL error is because it's a self signed cert, you can click through without any worries.
what does "Set Password" mean? as well as checkbox "do not protect password"? The way it works is your browser will store your private keys for you, locally using html5. You have the option of having them stored encrypted, which would require a password to access them (in a readable manner) or leave them as plain text. You can then have as many accounts as you like, it's now easy to manage multiple accounts. There is also a backup and restore option to move your keys off that particular machine, and those backups can be encrypted or in plain text. Nefario.

Hey, should be working now. If you are using the command line client make sure you have the latest version.
The web client has been updated to fix some problems.
Voting is currently broken on the server side of things and I'm working to bring it back up.

I would doubt that he's done a runner, much more btc to be earned in doing business at this stage than in stealing. And it's not hard comparatively to do business now.
The problem is a lot of these projects, even the bigger one are driven by one person, so that if something does happen then the project dies. It's the same with GLBSE, I'm the only one who can do anything with the server, partly for trust and security reasons, but also because I've not found anyone that could replace me.
I get hit by a bus GLBSE is toast(including the bitcoin stored there, although the btc that is vested with our treasurer would be able to cover it).
He's probably had to go somewhere, I don't have anything tied up in bitoption btc or cash wise, I'm just concerned if something has happened.

Has anyone heard from BitOption?
I've sent him mails and PM's but nothing back, is he alright (or is this an orchastrated attempt by the forum to snub me)?

At some point in the chain someone must be trusted. Either you trust a single party(the exchange) and they centrally handle the bitcoin, allowing the market to function
or
You trust that each member of the market will honour their side of the agreement and send the bitcoin/money.
In the end someone must be trusted, you either find one trustworthy person and operate an exchange or you have many with less required trust but a higher chance of them running away.

OK, that will be my first priority in the morning, fix orders/asset history etc ASAP. It's 3am here so I need to sleep.
