1641  Economy / Gambling / Re: Anyone want to place a small wager on Mayweather V. Pac man? on: May 02, 2015, 06:00:33 PM
I am sure there are many Pacman fans here, just holler them at this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1011387.0 and I am sure they'll come to bet on him here.
1642  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 FREE FAUCET ★ PICKXEL.COM ★ PICK LUCKY PIXELS AND WIN BITCOINS! 🔥UNIQUE GAME on: May 02, 2015, 05:55:51 PM
UPDATE: for all the registered users, you can earn free Bitcoins by completing simple surveys / offers.
Click here for more informations: https://pickxel.com/panel/earn

This is great, it'll get more people interested in the site for sure. I am also impressed with the images used in new games, some of the ones used earlier were a little dull but the new ones definitely attract attention.  Wink
1643  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [EDU] Faucet risks on: May 02, 2015, 05:41:42 PM
Great educational post shorena, it will help newbies keep safe from falling in some traps. I saw some people also providing some bots for faucets and promising hands-free-income but in the end these so called bots are programs which contain malicious codes that can steal a user's sensitive information and/or bitcoins and people should refrain from using these.
1644  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Prime dice account with Faucet amount at 0.00002500 on: May 02, 2015, 05:28:25 PM
The reason why no one is bothering to bid on this because it is not allowed and if you get caught Primedice resets your stats and that would bring your faucet back to the minimum and they might also ban that account for good. So buying PD account is not a good idea.
1645  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Marital Rape a Crime? on: May 02, 2015, 05:02:13 PM
A rape is a rape, marriage has nothing to do with it.

Exactly my thoughts. If a woman is saying 'no' it means just that, just break the Marriage if you're not satisfied with your married sexual life, instead of forcing yourself on her.
1646  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Make 5$ per day with your phone to call landlines on: May 02, 2015, 04:47:35 PM
Ok, i think we have a scammer here.
i love people telling that i am a scammer because i don't want to give free copy

I love how people try to sell "legit" money making methods, instead of using them themselves..
If there was any true to that what you're selling, u wouldn't be selling it in the first place.
Maybe you would be able to pitch in some sales, but not without atleast giving it so someone for a review.

cheers

True, it's so funny. It's like you found the Lamp with Genie inside and instead of making wishes yourself, you went to the Marketplace and start renting the Genie out. Makes no sense.
1647  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Use bitcoing to transfer $ to Friend in Nepal? on: May 02, 2015, 04:43:28 PM
I don't know what's the condition now in Nepal but from what I have heard it's pretty bad. If your friend can still find some outlets who deal in either Moneygram/Western Union, that would be the easiest way.

What you would need to do is, find some bitcoin traders, either on this forum or Localbitcoins and exchange your bitcoins and have them send the money to your friend in Nepal and he can go to MG/WU outlet (if there is one available) present his ID and MTCN number and collect funds in Nepal Currency.

PS: LBC has an escrow but if you decide to do this on this forum, make sure you use a trusted escrow.
1648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao - Who are you taking? on: May 02, 2015, 04:21:18 PM
Both of them have their reputation riding on this Match. I don't think it will be KO because I think both of them will play a little defensive, especially in the start, then after some blows the real emotions will take over and we'll get to see one hell of a Match and in the end winner will be chosen by points and I think it's going to be Mayweather.
1649  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ Follow @FastBets on Twitter and win 0.05btc ★ on: May 01, 2015, 02:53:29 PM

1651  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: May 01, 2015, 02:23:51 PM
Here's a suggestion for people who are worried about their security using PrimeDice with VPN. Enable 2fa on your accounts, that way a hacker won't be able to access your account even if he is able to acquire your passwords.  Wink

And read this thread about how to be safe using TOR/VPN while gambling: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1043827.0

Bittrex phishing warning

Hi all Traders,
Please be careful to avoid loss

wow, the phishing site is on google adsense space right? Shocked
so the phishing site's owner pay google ads to scam us, that's crazy move i think. Soon as user send phising report to google, they will remove it.
That's why i always use speed ail feature from my browser to access many exchange link instead using google or address bar to access exchange link
Thanks for friendly information about this, hope we all don't loose our money to phishing site like this

It happens very rarely that google adsense allows phishing sites but they also check on it very fast just after few reports and it was already removed.

I'm guessing it's AdBlock, sadly I don't use it, I have sympathy for publishers :p
I already see that the advert is removed
1653  Economy / Gambling / Re: [PSA] Bitcoin Gambling SSL Security on: May 01, 2015, 02:11:38 PM
This is exactly what I asked on primedice announcement thread yesterday. I knew about TOR and that it can get your account compromised if you're not careful and you can end up getting your coins stolen but I was confused about VPN. Thanks for this.

Great post. It should also be noted having a SSL does NOT make a website more "trustworthy" at all. Anyone can purchase a SSL and they're usually pretty cheap. I only bring this up because I've seen other sites try to mislead visitors before with SSL.

If hacker uses a SSL to impersonate a site, will the site address still show up as it does originally in the address bar? I mean the green/blue glowed up name with the favicon and the padlock? Ex.

If you are not using SSL, the URL will look correct, but there will not be a padlock, and the url will start with http:// rather than https://

If you are using SSL, there will be a padlock and https and your connection is encrypted and you are reasonably safe. Just pay attention to any popups you might get about "expired ceritificates" and such, and also check the fingerprint of the SSL cert for extra safety as OP mentioned.

I would recommend the browser addon HTTPS Everywhere, which will check the fingerprints automatically for you and also force your browser to use SSL on most websites. This will mitigate the risk of this kind of attack significantly without you needing to do anything.

Note that this kind of attack can happen to anyone using the internet, however it is most frequently seen on Tor, VPN's, proxies and public wifi as it is easier for an attacker to get "in-the-middle" of your internet connection. The NSA have used backbone internet routers to execute these attacks, these routers relay vast amount of the internets traffic so they can do this to almost any connection, so this kind of thing can happen to anyone.

I have that extension installed already. I was just asking that because he said that hackers can imitate SSL as well and most people including me will not check certificates and will think that it is the right site, if it shows https:// and the glowing site name/favicon with the padlock.

Hi Btcdemon, is the chat bonus thing still going on? I tried in the beginning but couldn't find anyone to chat to and then I completely forgot about it but would love to try and get if there are people to chat and if it's still up?
1655  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ Follow @FastBets on Twitter and win 0.05btc ★ on: May 01, 2015, 01:57:19 PM
Hi Twister. I don't mind if you unfollow the old one or not. Will not be posting much there anymore other then that people should follow my new handle

Love your idea with the free coins for followers. Will definitely do something like that in the future..

Done. Followed you just now & RTed couple of your tweets, it might get you more followers  Wink. Also the twitter link you have above is incorrect as it has 2 'https' in it   Cheesy

1656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite type of gambling? on: May 01, 2015, 09:32:15 AM
I prefer to gamble on sports gambling because it is not rigged, and also I often gamble in binary because I could use my strategy

Sports gambling does seem to be the favorite for now, I see a lot of new btc sports-book on the front page of this board but I don't know how or from where you got the idea that other gambling is rigged. Bitcoin gambling is the only one where you can check and verify your bets. Sure there are some sites which were found to be rigged but the sites who cheat don't last very long.
1657  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ Follow @FastBets on Twitter and win 0.05btc ★ on: May 01, 2015, 09:28:18 AM

Hey everybody! You can win 0.05btc just for following @FastBets in Twitter :-) Will follow you back if you let me know your handle here.

I think I am still following your previous handle. Should I un-follow that one? I'll follow you when I go online on twitter in the evening. However I think you should also give out few free bets to your followers, not now but after the winner is announced, sort of like consolation prize. Cheesy

Nice game. I think it will be great if you allow different size bets on different blocks. Currently one can only bet same sized bets on all the blocks one chooses.

For ex. If one choose to bet on 9 blocks, H/She can only bet 0.001 x 9 = 0.009
But there should be an option to bet like this:

0.001x 3 = 0.003
0.002x 3= 0.006
0.005x 3= 0.015

So one can make bigger bets on certain blocks.
