Yes, it's very interesting for me. i will take some motherboards to set some rigs for my farm.
When is this motherboard available for purchase? How much is it?

I made an easy tutorial, it's in my signature if the OP want make bios for each card.
That's why I included every possible shred of info about where the BIOS came from Smiley
If someone's flashing this onto anything other than a MSI RX 480 Armor 4G OC model #912-V341-028 with Hynix memory they are gonna have a bad time.
MSI has a habit of producing multiple hardware revisions within a single Model/SKU, hence the box code # which identifies the specific variant.

Nice guide, very straightforward.
Thx, yeah those are just the basics.

We already have topic about this mobo: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1939165.0
It wasn't working good, someone says it crashed with 8 GPUs I think.
It could have 14 GPUs, but H110 spec says no M.2, so I'm not sure... also there is only few pcie lanes, we were talking about how that could work, nobody was sure.

Since UK is still in the EU you can always return them in 14 days or cancel the preorder if you will have better price.

What do you mean? Do you think I have better chances to get a card in the UK?
I highly doubt that but if you have a link to a shop that does have cards - by all means please send it to me.
Sry my bad... I was looking at another profile -_-
I mean make your preorder you can return them always.

Now we are finally getting somewhere.
After calling more than 10 shops yesterday I got a clear answer from one of them:

The will get 30 Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ 8GB cards in July 5th - so in a month.
The sapphire nitro+ cards are supposed to be good as far as I can tell from doing research on different forums.

Each card will be 339€ which is $382 and quite a lot in my eyes.

Now I guess since I just start out the real question is:
Should I just preorder 18 cards so I can at least build my 3 6 GPU rigs beginning of July latest or would you just preorder 6 cards so I can finish my first rig beginning of July for sure and then wait and keep my eyes open until then to see if other shops might get 570s or 580s in until then for a better price? What would you PROs do in that situation?

Again the goal is 3 6 GPU rigs to start mining as soon as possible.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
Since UK is still in the EU you can always return them in 14 days or cancel the preorder if you will have better price.

Benchmarks:
GPU & CPU BENCKMARKS FOR MONERO MINING!

Check what memory vendor you have with GPU-Z. This is Samsung.

Download newest ATIWinFlash and save your bios.

Start Polaris Bios Editor or SRBPolaris. Open the bios.
SRB Guide is under PBE guide, this forum doesn't support Spoiler tag so it's little bit confusing.

Polaris Bios Editor 1.4.1

Copy performance timing. For Samsung is best Uber-Mix 3.1.
First post -> RX Performance timings. It can be used for RX 470/570 and 480/580 4GB or 8GB. Use it only for Samsung memory.
There are performance timings for all vendors Elpida, Hynix, Micron. You can google some of them also you can make your own. Basically it's just normal timing strap from card with tightening timings for better performance. It can be decode to values in SRBPolaris for example.

If you want good performance timings you can write to me I can sell you them. For all memory vendors.
EDIT: Basic Performance Timings for Elpida/Hynix/Micron/Samsung

Beware of space before the strap while you copying the Uber-Mix 3.1 from original web!

Copy it to 1750 and 2000. If you have more straps like this 1:xxxx 2:xxxx, you need to copy to the right one. In VRAM section, there is dropdown menu the Samsung one start with K, Hynix with H and Elpida with E. First one is 1:xxxx second one is 2:xxxx, SRBPolaris showing exact name of memory vendor.

You can higher or lower TDP if you want. Max memory clocks or vcore.

Undervolting
Do not put static voltages
Voltages like 65286 means they are dynamical for every card based on ASIC quality mostly. So you can flash the bios to all same cards (memory vendor) and it will work, every card will have similar voltages, some lower some higher.
The trick for easy undervolting is put lower values than it is. Voltages need to be equal or higher than the previous on.

Example from other forum how it could be

If you set clock in Afterburner or whatever you will se what voltages is that. Do not lower voltages too much in bios, you can always undervolt in Afterburner. Once you will know what voltages are stable you can put those dynamics values right for your card.

Also you can lower VDDC (VRM).
You can put values like 1000, 975, 950, lowering by -25mV. 975 and 950 should be stable on every cards, you can set 850 but this could be unstable. If you put lower voltages only to higher clocks it will always boot but in utilization it could be unstable.

There is lot more to change but this is basic and it's mostly enough what you need.
It's mainly meant to show you what is performance timings and how to do easy undervolt.
Save the bios and flash it with ATIWINFLASH -> continue under SRB guide.

SRB Polaris V3

Open your stock bios. As you can see this one has 2 memory vendors. First is Samsung and second is Hynix. You can clearly see what memory vendor you edit, no 0:xxxx, 1:xxxx and 2:xxxx anymore.

If GPU-Z says Samsung edit only Samsung. If it says another vendor edit only the one!
As I wrote before, copy the Uber-Mix 3.1, 3.2 or other performance timing you have, if you have my pack copy it from the RX Timings txt file. I recommend you to use tweaked Uber-mix 3.1.1 from my pack for Samsung. Copy it to clocks you will use. So mostly is enough 2000, but you can copy it to 1750, 1900, 2250 basicaly all these high clocks.

If you have Hynix, use the timings table for Hynix. Micron-Elpida means Elpida. Micron is Micron. Do not put Uber-mix or any other performance timing to other vendors! The timing pack you have from me is divided for all vendors so refer there for proper timings. Also read the info if the timing fits for 4GB or 8GB, if it's not stated it fits to both. Not every performance timing will work with your card good. If the card is not mining well, system crash or miner crash, try other performance timing from the timings file. If you still have problem, simply contact me on e-mail.
EDIT: Basic Performance Timings for Elpida/Hynix/Micron/Samsung

Here you can set clocks, 1411MHz is good for gaming, not for mining, only if you don't care about power consumption. For higher hashrate you can set around 1300MHz, optimal hashrate/watts around 1250MHz, for best power consumption around 1150MHz.
Memory clocks should be higher than 2000MHz, but bad cards can't run it. If you have Hynix 8GB with my performance timing you will need to run the card above 2200MHz for 31+MH/s. In bios set max 1900-2000MHz, OC the memory with utility like AfterBurner or WattTool to the max and check for memory errors in HWinfo64!!

If you changed core or memory clocks you will need to save the bios now and open again. You can undervolt memory voltage controller, use the dropdown menu. 900-1000mV is mostly safe, if you want best stability leave it 1000mV or 975mV, 950mV.

Core undervolting is bad here. You can put static voltages but it's not much safe. Lower last digit by 1 or 2 if you lower the core clocks or they are under 1300MHz you can put there 65286, if your max core clocks are lower than 1250, you can even put 65285. PBE 1.5 is better for this kind of undervolting.

You can edit Wattage here. You can adjust little bit the Power limit, if you undervolt or you will in utility there is no needed to edit this at all, only if you want OC core to the max. Not applies for memory OC.

Bonus
On the timing tab if you click on STRAP EDITOR, you can explore the timing strap edit it and make your own timing strap.

Flash the mod bios

Save the bios and flash it with ATIWINFLASH
Load bios and click program. Your PC will freeze for few seconds so patiently wait!

After flashing your card uninstall AMD drivers with DDU!

Reboot and install new drivers and Pixel Clock Patcher Without patch your card will have error 43!
You can rename Pixel patcher to atikmdag-patcher-bios.exe it will than only install signature patch!
Reboot.
You will also need set cards to compute workload

Memory OC and memory errors

Start miner or stability test.
Start with stock clocks than you can raise memory clocks by 10Mhz steps, every few seconds.
Download HWinfo64 and check for memory errors! Once you have some errors lower clocks a bit till there are no new. This clocks should be stable. After you find best memory clocks you can set core clocks (overclock or underclock) than you can try lowering voltages. Also you there shouldn't be artifacts!

http://www.pcworld.com/article/250644/how_to_overclock_your_graphics_card.html

Find your GPU and the GPU memory errors line. Watch it for numbers. If there are any after few minutes your memory clock is too high. If you have few errors after hours it's no problem. But key is to have 0 errors. Memory errors can cause bad shares!

With performance timings you can have 30-31MH/s with RX 470/570 and 31+MH/s with RX 480/580 (It could be 33+MH/s If you have bios from Wolf0 or Eliovp!)
This is max you can have not every card can achieve it! Most cards can run above 28MH/s.

It's fine no problem with that. Temperatures should be lower than you are gaming.
I have 860m temp around 60°C, mining when I'm watching movies. If your laptop is made for gaming the mining do less harm. Also you can make it better with cooling pad.

not always fine laptop are not suited to mine with them, their temp can go very high if you use them for minign for a long time, but alsod epend on what laptop we are talking about, if this is a gaming one should be ok for mining otherwise not, don't try it
Yeah this should be point out. Need to be gaming laptop! Also cooling pad is recommended.
My has 2 fans (CPU and GPU) and 1 big copper heatsink with Arctic MX-4 thermal compound.
1653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on a Laptop? on: June 05, 2017, 03:55:28 PM
Any kind of mining with a laptop,
either it be CPU or GPU  has already been known to destroy the device.
not saying that is is not done or some who do it have results
but try putting the laptop in the oven for about the same amount of time that you intend to mine
and crank up the heat to melt the plastic...
after about 12 hours of that see if you can use the calculator and see how much you just lost?
Of course it can't handle 24/7, but most gaming laptops are made to be run at full few hours a day. So if you switch these hours from gaming to mining it can make some profit I repeate XMR is profitable even on CPU... and also you won't destroy it.

Hi, can I mix RX580 and RX480 on one rig?
Sure you can, RX 470/480/570/580 no problem, if you are running windows you can also use Nvidia and AMD.
Right now I have R9 380, RX 470 and RX 480.
1656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on a Laptop? on: June 05, 2017, 02:49:58 PM
Is it really that easy? But what about the specification of your laptop? I mean are you having some big graphics card and heavy duty mother board or something! This would change the answers to his questions. I am also excited about the laptop mining as I'm not much interested in high tech miners. This would be easier for me. But need to know whether I should have more power in the laptop or not. And how could it work extra ram if it has the effect on the same.
I have Acer V15 Nitro Black Edition, i5 and 860m
269H/s with XMR-STAK-NVIDIA
Do not mine 24/7, RAM isn't important... VRAM matters for ETH. XMR needs only about 1GB.

He and everyone who want to mine with laptop should care and should know that believe me it doesn't worth as the heat can escalate and can damage the laptop, laptops aren't designed for mining.

Even though there are some extreme laptops that have great gpu maybe and dual gpu but I wouldn't put that to mine, simply it doesn't worth!
Well no... When I'm gaming on my laptop I have 80° on CPU and GPU, sometimes "great" turbo boost make it 85° on CPU... So with less than 65° on GPU while mining and 60° while mining with cooling pad it's much much better for the laptop than the madafuckin gaming. Also it make some profit, gaming not...
1657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on a Laptop? on: June 05, 2017, 01:39:03 PM
What's your profit mining with your laptop? I dont know if you are sure what are yu saying bit mining with a laptop doesn't worth!!!!
I'm mining Monero and I have whole rig for profit. This is just while I'm not using my laptop... I've started with mining on laptop.
You can make some profit with that... if he has something like 1060m or 1070m it will hash good on XMR.

He specifically said: "I don't care too much about profit"

I have Elpida Stritx OC 570. Will try your settings. I have 26.5 Mhz and hihger power consumption. Also it is the hottest GPU in my rig with %100 fans all the time.

I really need to tweak it. Which strap? Any special strap value? @831mV for GPU or MEM undervolt?

Thanks.
You never know what voltages your card can do... Also memory can't be undervolt only memory controller. Performance timings is the key.
My Strix RX 470 has 29Mh/s, could be 30 with better quality Elpida memory.
I pretty love Strix cooling. It's very quiet and I don't have any trouble with temperetures. Asus Dual has very bad cooling.

i dont what to risk to be stopped with all 13 cards!
something wrong could even happened...
if you have 1 rig with 12 gpu, you loss all your possible gains...
if you have 2 rigs, 6 GPU + 6 GPU, you lost "JUST" 50%, if ones has stopped!!!
Very good tought.
