1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: June 16, 2022, 09:02:34 PM
Never rush yourself on earning money or making profitable trades or investment because that not how it works because once reality do able to face up then you would realize that this isnt something

sticking with that buy low sell high kind of thingy which you do really believe that it was really just too easy to be done but once you do put your foot into the market and once you do realize it for yourself
then you would be finding it to be tough and challengin. Now that the market is on a great decline then this is where emotions do get involved on where you would need to decide
neither you would buy or wait up even further.
Never rushing is so important that, even if you make a huge amount of profit, you should reinvest all of that back to crypto, can you do that? Doesn't mean you have to, if you think it will go down then getting out makes sense, it is about "being able to".

So, let's say you once invested 1k into bitcoin, not a lot of money, but it became 100k one day, would you be able to not cash that out? If you can do that then you are doing the right thing. This is why I love bitcoin, it teaches people patience like zen masters, you do not have to go to Himalayas or whatever and learn to be a monk, if you can see your profits rise or drop and still do not act, that's fine.
1662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 16, 2022, 08:16:40 PM
No coach can guarantee to win the Champions League title. Last season, Manchester City, Liverpool, and PSG were among the favorites for the Champions League title. But Real Madrid won the title. If Zidane is PSG's coach, PSG's chances of winning the Champions League may increase, but no one can guarantee that PSG will win the Champions League.
That is what I tried to say. I mean if Zidane can't get the UCL title to them, then Pochettino didn't neither, so what's the difference? If it is the possibility of Zidane bringing PSG  that title, then Pochettino may have the same possibility as well? We do not know. So at hand, to me at least, we have the "get zidane and possibly get UCL" and also "keep pochettino and possibly get UCL" as well.

Just because he didn't get it so far, doesn't mean that he can't get it this year, there is no guarantee that he won't get it. This is why it makes no sense to convince a coach and maybe like pay double what you are paying right now, for the same possibility, because to me, it is just the same possibility for both of them.
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill prohibiting crypto currency as means of payment on review. on: June 16, 2022, 02:11:26 PM
months ago , Russian Government is in headline of adopting crypto specifically Bitcoin , but now here we are new trend coming and the are prohibiting the payments using crypto.
Of course they can do anything but is this really worth a Bill? and will the  whole pack will vote for this?
I think this si another exaggerating news and soon will fade like others .
I think they did that crypto acceptance thing because of sanctions. Which meant that if you were a rich oligarch that had a ton of usd, you could use crypto to turn your USD into Russian ruble, and that was the main idea.

Today, they look at the money and how valuable ruble is even during a war and sanctions because the whole world needs to get it from Russia, it is obvious that they do not need the money of oligarchs anymore. They already got it as much as they could, and that meant that the extra that is left, shouldn't be a big amount, they got what they wanted out of it. This is why they gave up on crypto hopes which would make their ruble valuable, they no longer need it.
1664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 15, 2022, 08:38:32 PM
Well regardless of what Zidane does is respectable for me, but if he manages to be at PSG, I take my hat off to the Sheikh, because taking Zidane is a guarantee of winning even the UCL, and everything that comes to PSG, I think that with a coach like him any team gets ahead.
Agree with what you said. Zidane is a very good coach for now even though he didn't coach last season but if you look at what he did before with Madrid, it would obviously be a big advantage if he was there and it's not impossible that they can get the Champions League too.
although there must be adjustments and adaptations but I feel that he is very easy to socialize there so this is not too much of a problem.
But until now the deal is still not there and this is what makes it difficult for PSG.
The schrodingers cat situation with Zidane is ab it of a confusing one. Yes he coached Madrid to titles all the time he played, and won UCL three times in a row, and all of that are correct stuff. However, he managed only 3 seasons and even though he was amazing using that time, he didn't managed any before or after. Which means that we need to see a great sample to say if he is as good as we think or not.

Maybe if he managed real Madrid since those days, they wouldn't get another but ancelotti got it? Who knows, is there a guarantee that it would happen? Or if he goes to PSG today, maybe they won't even win the league let alone UCL, is there a proof? We just need to wait and see.
1665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A single trading tool is not enough on: June 15, 2022, 06:00:31 PM
This is the simplest question I've gotten in trading.
In trading, understand the indicator. If all your indicator point to the same direction, then you can enter the trade. Please note, you MUST check the news update before using this indicator. A typical list of indicators and their values can be viewed on https://m.investing.com/indices/bitcoin-real-time-technical . All indicators such as MACD, WILLIAMS e.tc are there.
If all of your indicators are showing downside, that usually means that it will go down, but if they all show upside, that doesn't always mean that it will go up. The problem there is that bitcoin market is fragile, when going up, people are afraid that it may start to go down, it goes up 2x? Then people say it is time for it to start going down, when in fact it could do another 3x on top of it. Don't believe me?

Check topics when it went from 10k to 20k in 2020, it then went to 68k at peak but during 20k many said it will start to go down. However, when it is going down, people do not think it will reverse, they think it could go on going down even further, which often does because of it.
1666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mentor experience in crypto trading. on: June 15, 2022, 12:34:14 PM
There are things which other people cant appreciate while it is really helpful or relevant for you thats why its better not to mind on what others been thinking or feedbacks or opinions.Stick on things which you do

seem that it would really be that beneficial. There are lots of context and references which you could  really listen up to which would really be that relevant on what you are currently dealing.

Snipping some good ideas and applying it with your own trading style and understanding is something recommendable.
This is what I did as well but mainly with peter lynch for example. Between Peter Lynch, Warren Buffet and Robert Kiyosaki, you are going to have three amazing investors who can navigate through the market and the financial world we are in and tell you the secrets on how to get rich.

You can learn how to invest effectively with Peter Lynch when you do not have a lot of money and how to find companies that would be profitable, then you can use Warren Buffet to find ways to invest into things that can return something to you for you to reinvest back, so create a vicious cycle that will not end, and with Robert Kiyosaki could allow you to start with almost nothing, but find debt to be quite profitable if you know what you are doing and use others money to make you money. All could be applied to crypto directly.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 14, 2022, 09:09:38 PM
First, Xavi will try his best to get Lewandowski on the team. Although it is now very difficult for Barcelona to raise that much money, it is not impossible. Barcelona may decide to sell Dembele and De Jong. Manchester United, on the other hand, has strikers like Cavani, Ronaldo and Rashford. They now need experienced defenders and midfielders. Taking Lewandowski to the team now foolish decision for Manchester United.
How is it not impossible though? Plus, Lewandowski is a great player, but if we are talking about "can barely raise that much money", do you really think that he should be the first player to get? Or even striker should be the first position to get? Someone at that age, providing no future profit possibility, just because he is a superstar?

I honestly believe that it would be another bad transfer made by Barcelona. They are famous for making terrible transfer decisions, and this would be another one of them. I liked Xavi's decisions, torres, traore, aubameyang, these are all players that would shine in a Barcelona system, Lewa doesn't sound like it would be a good idea.
1668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin scenario crashing to $20.000 - $23.000 on: June 14, 2022, 06:40:42 PM
I wonder how low this price will be as we have already reached $23k and the price is still not showing to go up. If this situation continues, I am afraid we will see another low price which can make people panic and lose confidence in holding their bitcoin, as many of them already bought bitcoin at $30k. But if more support comes to bitcoin, the price will not go down and can hold the price and even lift the price back to the high price. Meanwhile, we can wait a while and see what and where the price will bounce up.
I was also quite surprised after waking up and checking the market, the bitcoin price plummeted today. With the current situation there is no news that can pull bitcoin back, June 15 with the goal of reducing inflation will certainly continue to increase interest rates and volatile assets like bitcoin will continue to confront selling panic in the market. Selling pressure is huge, I hope people will have diamond hands now instead of panic selling, 1 BTC = 1 BTC if we haven't sold yet.
We all were, I really didn't expected it to drop like this, don't get me wrong it is not unnatural for bitcoin to drop, it happens all the time and this is just another one of those times, but it wasn't expected neither. I would say that it is going to be okay, I can't give any guarantee or anything, but by the looks of things I can say that it is not going to be that much of a shock neither, it should be quite alright.

By this time in a month or two, we could be very well above 40k, not saying we will, but since bitcoin is volatile enough to drop like this, we all know that it is also quite volatile enough to go up very fast when needed be as well.
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the end for NFTs? on: June 14, 2022, 10:41:22 AM
Not everyone is trying to shill to blow up a project though. Just like ICO days and right now, there are going to be SO many people becoming bagholders with a lot of life savings just tied up and down 80% or more.

So they're going to try and project an image of confidence to get even more people to buy to protect the slide.

People will be people, all looking for quick gains and it's so tempting now in this bear market.
Unfortunately that is the truth in all of the hyped projects in crypto. It could be like ICO, or DeFi, or whatever, they are all overhyped and that is why we are seeing it go down like this. However, if you invest into solid foundations and good fundamentals then you could make a profit, and that is how everyone should approach it. Like bitcoin is the king right?

So, when you invest into shiba for a token, or cryptopunks or ape whatever for nft, then you need to realize that it will not be as long lasting as bitcoin and you will be quite upset about it. It's fine, you can make mistakes and it's fine, but you need to just realize you made a mistake and never repeat it hopefully.
1670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC & ETH Trends for the week on: June 14, 2022, 03:08:29 AM
Now the price of Bitcoin is at $23k and is very close to the price you said it will be, I think it will be too because since early April after a slight increase in price, Bitcoin has continued to decline until now so this is something that needs to be looked at everyone because the effects of Bitcoin's decline are still huge for all the altcoins on the market.
Which is a proof that even when we are awaiting for it to go up, there is room for it to go down and that's fine, we could always be wrong and that is fine, there is nothing wrong with that. I personally feel like we shouldn't really focus on how we could make something out of nothing, we should be doing something with this.

I believe that we would definitely not be doing a major detail on crypto and find the exact reason why it goes up or down, we can't find that. But when we wait for it to go up, and recovering a bit, we can see it cashing down hard, or vice versa could happen as well. This is why I believe it should not be really "expected" to do anything.
1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 13, 2022, 08:47:28 PM
I'm not sure about that, haven't seen the potential of these two so far, yes I admit they did well in the local league but maybe different to UCL because they will face teams from Europe
But it is possible that mbappe and halland will be part of the all time top scorers of the UEFA Champions League, but maybe 10 years and more, to be on par with ronaldo and messi will likely be very difficult, ronaldo has a record of 140 goals and messi 125 goals

source : https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/0257-0e910cf2494a-5185150de9d4-1000--champions-league-all-time-top-scorers-cristiano-ronaldo-lionel-/
I agree, that is not going to be that easy at all, it is going to be an incredible challenge. Let me put it this way, Benzema had 13 goals this season right? That means you need to have 11 seasons like that in a row to pass Benzema if you start at zero.

Of course Mbappe and Haaland is doing great, and I believe they will do even more great in the future as they grow older because they will not only be good players, but they will have experience as well, Benzema did that 13 when he was 35 I believe. But the question is, will they stay healthy? And will they always be in a team that will fight for as many games as possible? That decides to many of the goals, eliminated in the groups would mean terrible for their future, and maybe both of their clubs are good now, but you do not know what will happen in 5-10 years.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 13, 2022, 08:19:38 PM
Marcelo gave an emotional farewell to Real Madrid as he exits the club after spending 15years at the club. His teammates will missed the Brazilian as he becomes one of the most best player in Madrid History. He won countless number of trophies with Madrid with incredible titles. Marcelo now has:
6X Laliga
5x UCL
4x Club World Cups
3x European Super Cups
2x Copa del Rey
5x Spanish Super Cups
He is a legend and soon enough, he might probably join the coaching staff of Carlo Ancelloti.
I agree, he is one of the clubs best players that retired, if you want to hang a jersey up the rafters, that is one of them for sure. Marcelo played 15 very strong years for Real, and he provided so much talent and won so much with the club. Of course not all achievements are his, but he was there when it happened.

Ever since Roberto Carlos retired, Marcelo took up the position and made sure that the left back was a place Real never considered with a problem. I am sure that Mend will be great after Marcelo as well. I do not know what Marcelo will do next, but I am sure that he definitely has place in Real Madrid staff somewhere if he wants to.
1673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin drops to $8k on: June 12, 2022, 07:47:17 PM
I am asking what will you sell to buy more bitcoin if this speculation ever happens or will you choose to  sell off all your bitcoin due to FUD.
Speculation is fine of course, but I have my own perception of the future of Bitcoin, Bitcoin once, touched the price of $6k two years ago, a lot of people did nothing for Bitcoin, when it broke through to the $40k level everyone was busy talking about it, I think if the speculation you mentioned happened, the same thing happened when the Bitcoin price was still $6k.

My view, Only 1% of people sell their assets to buy Bitcoin, but if $8k happens, of course this time I don't want to do anything wrong, definitely do something for Bitcoin long term.
I do not think that 1% of the people sell their assets to buy bitcoin. When you think about assets as things like houses or cars then you might be right, that is not common. However, when you consider assets such as gold, foreign currency, stocks, and other stuff like that, those are assets as well and people could end up changing stuff there and it would be making a ton of profit by selling those and moving to crypto and making a better result.

I am not saying that it should be a good deal, all I am saying is that the best thing we could do about this problem that 8k means a ton more people selling all other liquid assets like stocks, which would help a ton.
1674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal allows to withdraw Bitcoin to external wallets (and send to Paypal) on: June 12, 2022, 05:53:32 PM
About 'no fees at all for sending crypto from one Paypal account to another.' when you are not actually transferring the bitcoin to another wallet and there is no network fee to pay for the transaction it's not really surprising to see them taking no fee for their internal transactions because it's not a big deal to see them doing this for the users.
But the most interesting part is the second one, about fees to send from your Paypal account here is where people should pay the transaction fee but they will not take any additional fees.
Unfortunately there are some places that still charge this as a "service fee", but the competition made it a bad thing. If all websites charged this, then all would continue to do it, but when a few big names start doing it for free, it became a forced thing to do for free otherwise everyone would go there.

Like Binance does user to user transfers for free, the network fee is still taken, but if it is another user on the receiving end, you could get the network fee back, or send that to the receiver as well. When even the biggest one which is Binance does this, Paypal sort of had to do it, but still some charge you for it in the name of providing a service.
1675  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the golden rule of investment? on: June 11, 2022, 06:38:49 PM
I wouldn't say that to avoid giving gambling advice, or to listen to others is the golden rule of investing. We can't no everything when it comes to investing, the markets are to big. It can be helpful to take advice from others, but we should always remain critical and make up our own mind. Trusting others blindly is foolish, but making our own research after getting advise from others is clever in my opinion.
It is true that getting advice from others could be a bit of a problem. Long term solutions to what we have right now would be to learn how to trade. I always said the same thing, if someone tells you which coin to buy, then you should stay away from that person at all costs, but if someone tells you how you could pick a coin to trade, then you could be doing a lot better. This is why learn how to trade, and not what to trade.

Diversification and DCA together makes it impossible for you to lose if you have patience. Those three things could lead any person, with any capital, to turn into a rich person with enough time, it may take a few years, or may take a few decades but they will become rich.
1676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT's hype over? on: June 11, 2022, 03:19:36 PM
I think it wont "boom" again. Trend is over. Every one has already understood that there is nothing behind this digital art and value of such "masterpieces" dont grow by itself. As a proof - try to remember when was the last time you have heard a celebrity or someone popular has bough NFT? What were recent the biggest news you have heard or read about NFT? When the last time you saw a $ million deal with NFT ?
You are talking about the NFT's that are images, and you are right there is a good case that it won't boom again. However, NFT is not only the images that we have seen, all those cryptopunks and apes and all that are futile and useless. The real deal would come when projects start to utilize NFT even more, when you do that the fact that it will go on will stand.

Like there are literally musicians that sell the rights to their songs, so you could earn from their royalty, not a lot but the feeling is enough. As long as the utility of NFT stands, there will be some projects that will have a different approach which will make it popular again one day.
1677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you saved your bitcoins in multiple wallets? on: June 11, 2022, 01:44:52 PM
Exchanges aren't even safe in the first place. Those you have mentioned is always susceptible to cyber attacks/hack. Exchanges could also freeze your asset if for some reason they are suspecting you. At least use decentralized wallets like Electrum or to make it much safer than these options, use hardware wallets. That also depends on the amount of Bitcoin you possess, coz when you only have like 0.01 there is no point in spreading your asset throughout 3-4 wallets lol.
There is no exchange with 100% security guarantee, you could never be safe in any exchange without any doubt of problems, of course all exchanges have that. However, regular pc, or ledger nano, or anything else that a regular person would have not 100% guaranteed neither.

Even if a hacker can't manage to scam you directly, they could very well find a way to social hack you, meaning they could make you GIVE your money to them somehow, basically by talking to you, that is how scams work in most cases. This is why you shouldn't really be trusting anything if that is the path we are going with. Exchanges at least have higher security than our computers.

For now, we don't know if Lightlord will return or ask his team for a comeback. But hopefully, they will come back again with new ideas and concepts so that it will be a good comeback for them after being offline for a while.

Maybe people's trust and hope have started to disappear, but I think they can still get a second chance to start their business. But of course, it wasn't easy to convince their previous members, let alone those who had been gone a long time.
They can do whatever they want, it is not going to change anything in the short term. People do not want them to comeback with a million dollars giveaway or something, that would not be the way to comeback and convince people that they are here for the long term.

People want them to comeback, and stay, that is the path. If they comeback and be active everyday for a year, then they are doing a great job and people will trust them again, even if there isn't anything more than the regular signature campaign, because they would see them as back. However, if they come back, and text a million dollar giveaway once, and be absent for another 3 months, how could you trust them?
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Read this before you exit crypto space on: June 10, 2022, 11:09:56 AM
I don't think they are ethereum killers
Not even one of them can hold up as well as ethereum in this kind of market situation. Those are just claims made by developers or supporters of Hedera, Solana, Algorand, and Avalanche, but it seems they forgot they were dealing with ethereum. The only thing that has any chance of beating ethereum is a bnb, in my opinion. Hedera, Solana, algorand, Avalanche, they are only a small part of ethereum, nothing to worry about
Although the coins you mentioned are coins that have potential but it's too much to think that they are Ethereum killers,
BNB does have an opportunity for that but so far Ethereum is still above it,
maybe it's better to just follow the movement and the progress will be like
I do agree that BNB has a good potential to be up there, it is a very fluid development project as well. Whenever something gets a bit more famous, they end up putting something in BNB that will cover it, and that is why I believe that it is 100% something that will get a ton of attention. I know that ETH is great, and I believe that ETH will keep on being the second ranked coin and it will get used a ton by the people for sure.

However, just because it is that great, doesn't mean that other ones are bad neither. By this logic, what I mean is, while eth could go from 2 to 4, bnb could go from 1 to 2, still lower in ranking, but at least same levels of increase.

The track had changed from when it was first introduced to the F1 circuit. Baku has a castle for crying out loud along the track.
Ferrari seem to have an advantage on this track according to this youtube video I watched explaining alot about the track and how it differs from many of the others in terms of a 90 degree turn which I don't think any of the other tracks have.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmeGFVCdq2k

Very well done video to watch before getting ready for the practice races coming up later this week so to familiarize yourselves with what to expect from this race.
People like Vettel and Max and Hamilton has a bit more advantage during the Baku race. The difference is that they are fierce and aggressive racers that do not only rely on talent but also take risks that are like inch to the side and you are done. Obviously Vettel will do probably nothing this race, wouldn't really matter to the top, and it is unlikely that Hamilton would matter neither, possible but unlikely.

This leaves Max there, so if Max races like crazy again, and takes all the risks and every part of the available track, then he will have an easy win. But if something unexpected happens and his risk doesn't pay off, he could crash out and Charles could still win.
