1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why Shouldn't We Put a Bounty on satoshin@gmx.com Hacker? on: September 09, 2014, 08:13:46 AM
Some troll hacker has claimed to have gained access to satoshin@gmx.com (Satoshi Nakamoto's email account)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=775174.0

He is asking for 25 BTC donation in order to reveal Satoshi's true identity and other related info.

Why shouldn't we start a fund raiser to collect 50 BTC and offer it as bounty to whoever tracks and shoots this hacker?
1663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: satoshin@gmx.com is compromised on: September 09, 2014, 07:56:22 AM
....
3) GMX account is recycled after x period of time
4) Person signs up for @gmx account after it is recycled
...

The only way to confirm is by requesting a comment from GMX site admins

I have this thread open in one tab and the Bitcoin price ticker in another.
The price is not moving. Where are my cheap coins? lol

Someone just sent Satoshi's hacker (one of them) address 1.5BTC.

What.

https://blockchain.info/address/19pta6x1hXzV9F5hHnhMARYbRjuxF6xbbV

And he's quickly sending the funds to another address:

1666  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-09-09] Someone’s Threatening to Expose Bitcoin Founder Satoshi Nakamoto on: September 09, 2014, 05:25:58 AM
The hacker is asking for 25 BTC to unmask the identity of Satoshi and reveal other related information.

Please don't pay anything to this clown. We don't want to support this.
1667  Other / Off-topic / Re: Celeb Nudes leaked (sold for bitcoin?) on: September 06, 2014, 10:20:26 AM

1668  Other / Off-topic / Re: incredible accident! on: September 04, 2014, 12:42:46 PM
Video deleted due to copyright stuff.

May anyone describe what was so amazing with the accident?

Still available on Vimeo:
http://vimeo.com/103940899

Is it really an actual accident or some professional stunt?
1669  Other / Off-topic / Re: See the hidden image? on: September 04, 2014, 09:43:40 AM
Rhino bucking a guy and in background a guy down on all fours.

Correct! And a jeep as well, if you missed that.  Smiley

I think it requires just a bit of practice with how to focus. Once you get that, then it really gets easy and interesting.

edit:
And if it is not already clear from the image I posted above, hidden-3d.com has lot more of such stereograms.
1670  Other / Off-topic / Re: See the hidden image? on: September 04, 2014, 07:56:58 AM
In first image, I can see a girl eating ice cream, holding a balloon in the other hand. ( btw... she has big boobs!  Wink )

In second image, I can see the Bitcoin logo, including the circle around B.

EDIT: ONE MORE

[....] don't be surprised when one day you wake up and the site is down with everything else.

The site is already down for me. Can't open http://www.cryptcominer.com/
1672  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if fallling is actually a bull... on: September 04, 2014, 06:36:25 AM
What if he is 'predicting' btc value to drop just to shake off the few weak hands that remain.
Not nessesarily to buy cheap coins (he isn't actually effecting prices), but to leave only the one's that are confident in btc in the game. I personally think this is healthy for btc prices.

That's a pretty great strategy and I salute him if that's the case.

fallling is Satoshi and he wants to remove all 'get rich quick' people from Bitcoin community.

1673  Economy / Services / Re: win88.me - affiliate program - earn up to 0.5BTC per week on: September 03, 2014, 04:16:37 AM
I don't understand all the hate about win88. They have been honest and true to their word from the beginning and have explained/justified their position all along. They have been trying to resolve cases on individual basis which I have not seen with even bigger signature campaigns.

There was a time when I wore PrimeDice signature for over a month and I wasn't simply paid. Tried to talk to OP via official thread, no response. Tried PM, no response.

On the other hand, win88 never acknowledged my enrollment, and hence I never used their signature. Despite of this I was paid for August. I don't understand how it can be more fair.

I have read every post of CoinPrincess in this thread and I truly admire the way they treat people.

If I would get paid for nothing I would say the same  Roll Eyes

It's not about me. Everyone got paid and that's a fact.

I have never liked over-sized boobs. More than a mouthful is waste anyway. You can't even squeeze them properly!

I have always loved B cup...

Is she asian?
I don't think so...

Maybe not.
The post was more of a reference to B-cup breasts than asian women. And by the way, asian or not asian - she looks very pretty! Grin
1676  Other / Off-topic / Re: Celeb Nudes leaked (sold for bitcoin?) on: September 02, 2014, 06:58:51 AM
First, these celebrities are too tempted to take naked photos of themselves

Second, they're too dumb to keep them on iCloud

Third, Apple can't secure iCloud enough

Roll Eyes Too many facepalms

Very short survey, but it captures the opinion nonetheless.

If implemented correctly, this can be the killer Bitcoin app everybody is waiting for.

Do not limit the functionality to phone numbers only; extend it to social services like Facebook.

Look at what Oxygen wallet is doing with fiat currency (https://www.oxigenwallet.com/)
1680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your top 5 altcoins - in order? on: August 29, 2014, 12:21:56 PM
1. DarkCoin - First anonymous X11 coin
2. Bytecoin - First truly anonymous cryptonote coin
3. MintCoin - PoS with large community support
4. Litecoin - First scrypt coin with large community support and trade volumes
5. Ether - Looking good right now with good dev (don't want to debate about future)
