These are cool items indeed and I've seen plenty demos of these types of high-powered lasers. But what is the legality of owning one of these in the US? What is the legal threshold for max power? And would you take responsible if case customs confiscates it?
Only problem I've ever seen with lazer pointers in the USA is point them at cops. Tends to freak them out a little for whatever reason Are you saying that from experience? . This is probably true, because it emulates the person being targeted, ie a gun is pointing at them. Although, the laser would have to be red. Haven't seen a green or blue laser mounted on a gun before.

...some people like myself or killerloop assumed secured means collateral, rather than the amount being tied to fiat or btc...
I got the impression his offer to loan you money was based on you claiming it would be secured by collateral. I doubt he will give you an unsecured loan.
Indeed. If you look at the types of posts he makes and loan he gives out, he only does it with collateral. So there is some misunderstanding with the term "secured" loan. I'm pretty sure he will retract the bid as well. Anyways OP, I've sent you PM, but not for a private bid.

No collateral is offered.
Secured=based on $USD value and tied to exchange Unsecured=based on bitcoin
Ah I see. Glad you clarified, because some people like myself or killerloop assumed secured means collateral, rather than the amount being tied to fiat or btc. You might consider upping the interest amount, most people here tend to not give loans unless there was collateral, no matter how trusted you are.
|
|
|
There's no reason for someone to provide you the loan unless it's a personal friend or you offer up some interest.
|
|
|
Just lock it yourself, or change the terms of requiring collateral instead of ID.

I'm assuming you want physical btc/ltc coins graded, and not other world silver/gold coins? If that's the case, then the two top graders, PCGS or NGC, won't grade them. Your best bet is ANACS. I only have an account with PCGS, but I could assist in getting yours graded through ANACS if you cover their grading fees. Their international shipping is rather expensive, so I could help get it shipped back for less.

If you didn't already know, there has been "ID scams" in the past. You're basically buying the borrower's personal info, disguised as a loan. I sure as hell wouldn't sell my personal info for 0.01btc.

Why don't you just publicly post what rate you're trying to get, so you don't have to get a PM every time someone wants to ask for a price? I can say with confidence that people tend to no like beating around the bush.

It is a good chance to see if he is legit or another one of those scammer/ponzier of unsecured lending.
Well for the record, I did receive repayment for the btc I previously loaned him. It was a little late, but I still received full amount + interest. No collateral, so it was unsecure right? https://blockchain.info/address/15bF79q4HXxSN212hVXxVyCM9dxTncZHd6

Welcome to the forum, but lending section isn't a good place to make your introduction.

Can someone tell me the thread page of the the clue right before this got solved? This thread progresses way too fast, and I do check up on it but I don't fully read all 114 pages.

I seriously wonder how many people on the "confirmed" list stayed with this sig the whole month with everyone questioning it.
Just to show you how unorganized it is, I'm still on the confirmed list even though I publicly stated over a month ago that I left the campaign because it had many problems.

... And typically all modern coins are pure gold. ...
Many modern gold coins including the American Eagle and the Kruggerand are not pure gold. Hence the key word "typically". If you compare all modern world coins from all country's mint, they're 999 gold. Americans are always the odd ball when it comes to standardizing, such as inches/foot and pounds/ounces.

Then it's very doubtful a trusted member would be willing to do this. You're basically trading dollar for dollar, reversible payment (paypal) for non reversible one (WU/MG), and it's from a new forum account. If I were to help you out with this, can you tell me how this would benefit me? I'm exchanging $50 for $50, but taking on all the risks.
|
|
|
Just to confirm, you have $50 in your paypal and looking to exchange it for $50 Western Union or Moneygram? No btc involved?
|
|
|
if you been paypal scammed then keep the money and let paypal reimburse them from paypal profits. afterall paypal have insurance, paypal make profit and paypal should have better security.. its their fault not yours.
unless your a scammer, never give back money to paypal.. let them lose out, not the honest people.
I only wish it was this easy with banks. Last year, someone sent me money by direct bank transfer, ACH payment with Chase bank. Once it cleared into my account, I released the bitcoins, then a few days later the transaction was reversed. I was under the assumption that ACH payments were cash equivalents and cannot be reversed once cleared. Shortly after, chase closed my bank account, flagged me as being involved in FRAUD so now they won't ever let me open an account with them. All in all, I lost a lot of bitcoins, money, got account closed, and labeled as fraud on their records. I have no idea what the scumbag reported to chase, but this is the worst possible outcome. Very expensive lesson for me.

I'm assuming the only difference between secure and unsecure loan is collateral and no collateral? I suggest that all "bids" be open public posts for transparency. You could claim that someone bid only 2% interest per week in PM if you didn't receive the results you wanted.

Confirming that I have received the full amount of 0.35btc. I know it was holiday times, I just got back myself. Thanks moni3z, feedback left for you.

OP, so you're willing to spend 0.25 btc to get Vod's personal info, just because he left you negative feedback? You need to grow some thicker skin dude.
Would you be willing to do the opposite as well? If I gave you positive feedback, will you give me 0.25btc?
