1661  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for people to store some of the forum's money on: November 19, 2013, 11:23:09 PM
I know that I don't meet all the requirements but I can give out some personal info like address and phone number. I can store any amount and will charge 1% (upfront) per year. I will be safely creating 10 paper wallets each with 10% and put it in a bank vault. I know this isn't the best deal out there, but pm me if your interested.

No!
1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 signs you may be too involved in Bitcoin on: November 19, 2013, 05:33:07 AM
4.) You have a serious distaste for the word "tulips".
7.) You knew what DPR stood for before the Silk Road bus
8.) You doubled your investment in 3 weeks and wondered if there was anything you could have done more efficiently.
10.) You put more time in reading up on bitcoins than you put in doing homework.
1663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets discuss the senate meeting as it happens! on: November 18, 2013, 08:37:15 PM
"Smart regulations" << I like this! But I don't agree they have gotten there yet.

I wish I could be their I would love if they talked about some of the great services. Like mobile payments, new services that are popping up.

1666  Economy / Gambling / Re: New BTC Fund and GBBG BTC Venture on: November 18, 2013, 06:56:56 PM
Stop calling GBBG a little ponzi scheme, for you will look not like an expert but like a little idiot, sorry for the name, but this is true.

You are not an expert on everything, and definitely you do not have enough knowledge about BitBillions project and GBBG organization to voice here your opinion about them.

As to "stop trying to pump out...", I was not pumping out anything, I was quoting BitAdmin,
but you should definitely stop pumping out your own competence LOL,
you should wait for your clients to do that for you...

LMAO yeah when you are a millionaire call me, until then you aren't close to my level of competence.

1668  Economy / Gambling / Re: New BTC Fund and GBBG BTC Venture on: November 18, 2013, 06:26:56 PM
Come on Gweedo, you know very well that the price depends on server capacity and that Nginx has a higher performance than Apache  Wink

I am here long enough to notice you're an expert.

I am the expert, and you called a piece of software ultra high end, to make it sound all fancy when in reality they are two pieces of software that do the exact same thing two very different ways. Both are good depending on what you do. So yeah stop trying to pump up your little ponzi scheme with some fancy language. It doesn't work Wink
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice for New Crypt-Trader on: November 17, 2013, 10:45:59 PM
I'm new to coins and new to trading..

Then I wouldn't do it, and second this is off-topic and should be in the alt-coin section not the "BITCOIN" section
1670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Setting up bitcoind on vserver or locally - Need some advice on: November 17, 2013, 05:04:13 PM
You need to set Allowip flag in your conf, cause if you don't then it defaults to 127.0.0.1 So this is probably the issue.
1671  Economy / Gambling / Would anyone be up for once a week online poker tournament? on: November 16, 2013, 10:38:41 PM
I used to play a once a month poker tournament in college, and I was thinking it be fun to get back into that and I have a lot more time. My friend showed me some open source poker software that would make it easy to setup a server and accept bitcoins and maybe even have some free games going. Anyone interested?
1672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we discuss an alternative entity to the bitcoin foundation? on: November 16, 2013, 07:13:43 AM
No, if you don't like the foundation, fix it, don't just abandon the idea and walk away.

That is exactly what I am trying to do. Completion will fix them, it is kinda hard when you have major bitccoin businesses and most of the dev team with them, but I am trying.
1673  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 16, 2013, 05:28:24 AM

1674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we discuss an alternative entity to the bitcoin foundation? on: November 16, 2013, 01:52:32 AM
Maybe no central council at all? Or would that lead to total anarchy.

I think bitcoins is at a stage where we need a representative body, that can help important project. That can take positions for the community, with the help of the community directing. It is for sure not going to hurt if done properly which is not what the bitcoin foundation has done.
1675  Other / Off-topic / This is like my fangirl moment right here, 40oz Van tweeted about bitcoins... on: November 16, 2013, 01:47:22 AM
So if you are not from NY you have no clue about this dude. He is a designer of sick snap backs, and just all around great dude. He is always in the coolest clubs with the baddest girls. This is amazing and he has a huge following!

Hopefully his store starts accepting them!

1676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Can we discuss an alternative entity to the bitcoin foundation? on: November 16, 2013, 12:18:19 AM
Maybe some that gives more power to the community? Make funds and spending more transparent? Who wants to spearhead this and get the rolling. I think this would be great for a new foundation and the current foundation.
1677  Other / Meta / Re: What to do with trolls? on: November 15, 2013, 09:19:22 PM
What do you think that admins on this forum should do with trolls? They spread negativity all around and try to accuse people from scamming.

For example this individual (moderate) is very active. Check his comments to make a picture about him.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=154417

Uhmm you have very similar comments to that user, so maybe you are also a troll. And to leave that user trust feedback when you never even did a transactions shows another point of how the feedback is broken.

I love these threads that try to finger trolls, cause no one here is really a troll just different views, and in bitcoin that is the devil. No one here knows how to debate so you pull out the old troll card. This is the internet get over, take a class in debate and conceed when you are wrong. This will help you in life.

<<<-Ignore button right there, but by clicking you admit that you are conceding and don't know how to debate in a forum.
1678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mike Hearn, Foundation's Law & Policy Chair, is pushing blacklists right now on: November 14, 2013, 06:37:39 PM
I just want to say I am very disappointed in this...

First Yifu...
Now Mike...
Who next?
1679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explain me Like I'm 5 why Bitcoin is decentralized on: November 14, 2013, 07:14:08 AM
Nobody controls it. Nobody can control it.

Like bittorrent, once the file is uploaded and a torrent cloud is created, lots of folks download the files but no one owns or controls it

Keep thinking that Wink
1680  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [IDEA] nLockSpace? on: November 14, 2013, 12:31:33 AM
This would be a privacy issue, because then the whole blockchain would know where you were at a given time, forever. Also What use case?
