16681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pre-order Bitcoin Magazine - Finalizing proofs for first issue on: April 15, 2012, 09:28:05 AM
Let me worry about our magazine, why don't you worry about your e-zine?

Why don't you get off bitcointalk.org and finish the damn magazine already?HuhHuh??

It's been finished for a while now, they're just printing it.

"printing" it.........hmm are we using caveman printing presses?

Sorry hard to believe.
16682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solidcoin Prices Drop to New Lows as Investors Bail Out on: April 11, 2012, 07:58:06 AM
we will see what the price of sc will do in the future:

http://solidcointalk.org/topic/589-solidcoin-v30-major-announcement/

beginn quote
We have decided to break compatibility with v2 of SolidCoin and restart the chain with all of the existing coins. We won't be re-adding the 10 trust accounts, so the only coins at the start of the new chain will be the 2.8 million normal coins owned by everyone. This means we have also removed the trust node concept and trust blocks. We have developed an alternative 51% mining attack solution.
end quote

major problems solved with the complete new version 3 like 51-attack and the premined millions does not exist any more...

Cant wait for version four where it makes you breakfast and then destroys it and tells you to pay for the food.
16683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PSA : Final Litecoin LTC GPU miner released !!! on: March 28, 2012, 10:12:05 AM
I just stop all my Litecoin mining rigs... Litecoin loses its meanings...

Well if litecoin does become worth more you will likely kick yourself thinking why didnt I keep mining......I did that with namecoin when it first came out. I mined it then stopped because I didnt know if it would amount to anything. Of course it ended up hitting $2.50 per coin in June of 2011.
16684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solidcoin Prices Drop to New Lows as Investors Bail Out on: March 26, 2012, 01:09:49 AM
And it's not like they can reduce the block reward any further to prop up the price.  What is it now?  Like .01 SC per block? lol

Good point. Maybe they will do that version update where there are no public miners just realsolid and coinhunter (each personality) mining ever other block. They can have a great 1-person-2-personality economy.

Sounds like paradise! Grin Grin Grin
16685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] New alternate cryptocurrency - Geist Geld on: March 26, 2012, 12:13:14 AM
The GG wallet is currently using 1.5GB memory on my Linux machine. Can someone adjust the code to reduce the memory consumption drastically otherwise it becomes unfeasable to run it in the near future.

Or you could stop using it altogether...
16686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solidcoin Prices Drop to New Lows as Investors Bail Out on: March 26, 2012, 12:11:02 AM
Incoming Soiledcoin sockpuppets to tell us how great their crypto-cancre is doing.

Wait for it, wait for it.......anytime now they will flood this thread bashing BTC and LTC lol.....be patient those with popcorn! Cheesy
16687  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculation forum seems awfully quiet since price drop. I have a few questions! on: March 25, 2012, 08:32:44 AM
I hope I haven't given out the secret how market works....

i think a problem with charting is that a lot of others do the same thing on bitcoin, which in my opinion, will only work as long as the big players care to make it work for us.
if they want out and fresh usd dries up... price will just degrade to low levels. 1-2 bucks per btc may be good times fondly recalled.
yes bitcoin has a market like a child who has a new toy. which he may get bored of some day and move onto new things.

i find bitcoin to be a novelty/useful for some things but to hold it long term... nah. just a bunch of 0s and1s... rather buy something else.

This will be the most hilarious post in 1 year...  not 2, not 5...  1 year...

Stick around, I want someone to laugh at in 12 months time..  Smiley

i laughed at your "zero spread my ass" post.........spread ur ass? lol
16688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin mining on Amazon cluster on: March 24, 2012, 11:35:29 AM
GPU = 106 kh/s for 2 Tesla GFX cards, reaper v. 13
CPU = 25 kh/s for 8 threads of Intel Xeon from Scrypt Miner.

Kinda disappointed, to be honest.  Undecided

I like this. It gives a fair playing ground for miners with CPUs and GPUs.
16689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin GPU mining revelations and ArtForz running away on: March 19, 2012, 09:15:02 AM
I'd like to see proof that ArtForz did in fact GPU mine LTC.

LTC seems to be doing just fine.

Not sure why this thread needs to be taken seriously without any proof that ArtForz in fact did scam people in LTC.

Please show me proof that he did what is being spouted in OP.

As I said a few posts earlier:
...
I don't know which is true, and there's really no simple way to prove any of the 3 options outlined above. Whether it was purely a lack of caring enough, or a desire to make a quick buck, I don't think we will ever know.

Then if you have NO proof. Please STFU and stop posting BS on this forum. Thank you!  Grin

How'd that Fedex delivery go down BCX?

In case you don't know, bitcoinexpress is a twice divorced loser named Daniel Maddox that has no money and has some sort of disability that we haven't been able to find out about yet. His ex wife, Lanie Grace, a bride brought from Thailand, dumped him soon after they had a kid together and she got a greencard.

He is broke, he is bitter. He spends his life on the internet playing games, posting/lying on forums and things like this, that's why it's so important to him.

He couldn't afford a US stamp let alone a Fedex.

CH even if you are right about BCX, BCX will always be a cooler cat than you. You're such a donk lol and everyone in this community except your sock puppets will agree with me.
16692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SolidCoin Mafia Bitcoin Merged Mining Pool - Pays out in SolidCoins on: March 11, 2012, 12:09:25 AM
It's so funny that SC (whatever words you want to use for the S and C) has failed miserably.

Mainly it has failed because of its founder Coinhunter/Realsolid.

Oooh yeah he will make a nice GUI for SC and tell you how great it is and all the whistles and bells he has integrated into it.

What he won't tell you is that the value of your investment into SC will be diminished ultimately.

SC & CH/RS has become the laughing stock of the entire bitcoin, namecoin, litecoin, etc community.

Give up buddy you don't have what it takes to be in the fore front of such a project and have it be successful.

BCX true it isn't dead.

It's on life support.

I dont see anyone developing for it either so it really has no purpose. Not even profit since there is no exchange.

LOL Smoothie, I do believe you also cleaned up on IXC and I0C.

Both are "Zombie Coins"

~BCX~

Oh of course I did. I cleaned up on IXC, IOC, and SC1. MEGA BUCKS! Grin Grin

16700  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Power Color 6950 1GB cards - Lot of 6 shipped $750 on: March 07, 2012, 06:10:49 AM
What were your clock settings and hash rates?

Clock settings were default (whatever that was), fans were set to max all the time, and hash rates were about 310 mh/s.

max being 100% fan?

I guess you could say that. I just set the fans max to keep the temperature down as much as possible. On top of that I had box fans on the cards at all times as well.
