1681  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin will rise up again ? on: March 20, 2018, 06:39:50 AM
I'm still wondering why bitcoin suddenly dropped over 11kUSD. i thought that it will hit 30k usd  this year, but how come it's suddenly dropped? i dont think so if its manipulated by whales or maybe the supply and demand of bitcoin is one of the problem . or maybe uts a chance given to us to buy so we can havea good profits. can someone explain?
The price drops because someone is selling his coins and the market can't absorb the excess quantity. This needs a new buyer to pull the price up, with the popularity of bitcoin this will attract new investors as the price is cheaper. So, this is a good opportunity to get bitcoin at cheaper price.

I think another thing we should consider as reason why bitcoin price is going downward is the stagnant movement of it.
Well we know that it is really a currency. But due to greediness of some people, they tend to just hold and keep the crypto not realizing that it may be a reason why the value does not go up.
That is not even a reason at all. Do you even understand anything about market and economics in general? How does holding one's asset contribute to the reduction in value ? So what do you want everyone to be doing? Selling their assets and then expecting the price to keep increasing ? You are really funny!

It is a sell pressure that determines the downtrend in the market and the buy pressure that determines the uptrend and if one is higher than the other, you should expect exactly just that.
1682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: please help me seriously to leave gambling ???? on: March 20, 2018, 04:48:55 AM
Today i realised i am in huge huge trouble due to gambling...i just kept loosing amount in gambling quickly...decided many times to leave gambling but never happened....today i counted that i have lost almost 10 bitcoins in gambling in last 1-2 years and the amount i loose is going to keep on increasing...
i just tried to do every thing but nothing is quiet working...what ever i earn i dont know what to do with them and in some time i loose them again...
i am realising i am in big trouble, already in huge loss what to do... Embarrassed
I think this will stop if you reach a certain situation wherein you are bankrupted already. You lost all the means to have money for gambling so you will not have any other choice but to stop because you dont have money anymore. I know people who got broke because of gambling and it was only then they regret when they realized they’ve lost everything they have.
Being bankrupt does not stop some people to still continue gambling. I am sure some people can end up gambling themselves into slavery if care is not taken. The best is to just find help and as long as the OP already has the mindset to quit, he should be able to take it up from there.

He should talk to people that can help him, he should visit psychologists, some even say hypnosis can work but I do not know, but at the end, the steps should be finding help and trying as much as possible to stay away from gambling no matter how much the impulses come.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The way to win in gambling on: March 19, 2018, 01:26:17 PM
Do not mistake thinking positive on false hope. As false hope can make you lose more money, it will cloud your mind thinking that you can still win amd come back all your earnings. Remember almost all gambling games is a game of chance and that chance cannot be affected just by thinking positively. And in my own personal opinion thinkinh positively cannot really change the outcome of the game in any given situation I see.
The mistake a lot of people make is to expect so much from gambling and then keep deceiving themselves with the idea of having a positive energy. The only energy will all have is the energy where you tell yourself when to stop and that is the only energy you need to control the gambling impulse that speaks to your mind telling you to keep gambling the little that you have left as long as you have a positive energy. At the end, they end up losing all and also end up adding addiction to their life.
1684  Economy / Economics / Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto! on: March 19, 2018, 10:41:10 AM
In my opinion choosing crypto as a work is very hard. You need to learn all background of that coins, how can be used it amd you need to risk all your time to earn. Working with crypto is very hard but you can earn lot of money because the price has chance to grow.
Choosing a coin to invest is not the work we are talking about here, and if it is all about investing in a coin, be it one that is on the market or ICO, then that is not a job and you can easily do that without having to leave your real job.
We are talking about skills you can make use of such as trading, IT and freelancing, and if you can have some of these skills that are highly needed, you can easily make a lot of bucks in the cryptocurrency world, but you still have to be very smart about it.
1685  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: March 19, 2018, 08:37:08 AM
First of all, the price of bitcoin will not be stable. That is why it is called volatile. And this is because of the demand of bitcoin in the present market. People would still use bitcoin whatever happens because bitcoin price will never be stable. That makes it more interesting.
And it is that volatility that makes the whole cryptocurrency space tick. It is good for traders anyway and I have been enjoying the volatility and for those worrying themselves already with their comments as if bitcoin is already stable, they really do not need to bother themselves much.

All the above, even if at all it gets stable to a point that the volatility is no longer high, it will still be usable for me for a lot of things that we cannot even start mentioning but for most of it, transaction purposes.
1686  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you believe is needed for crypto currencies to be mass adopted? on: March 19, 2018, 07:39:37 AM
We at Quantum1Net believes what needed is higher amount of data transaction and speed, lower power consumption and stronger security.
https://github.com/quantum1net/Documents
Other than that, what do you think?
Holding is one of the things needed for mass adoption! Many of us here used bitcoin as a stocks and not as a means of payment for goods and services. Bitcoin will be adopted by big financial institutions if it price is stable and that is why we need to create that stability by holding what we have and not sell them. When you sell you are contributing to the volatile that affect mass adoption.
Holding is not the only way to go but to see some of the attributes of cryptocurrencies giving it the capability to achieve the level of mainstream adoption and all those things are the attributes of what the OP has mentioned. With respect to security though, that is not guaranteed. It is an investment and every investor should know better already with the market being a decentralized one.

Cryptocurrencies are not far from what the world need I must say. I feel the main essence anyway to be able to have a form of decentralized currency which we can all easily transact across the globe without any government clamping down on us and then having it done speedily without any delay. I guess we are heading there gradually as things are already getting better.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: March 18, 2018, 12:40:36 PM

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and i don't think anyone's opinion should trigger important decisions as selling out  coins you invested in, instead research and make your own decisions on whether its time to sell. if at all are all shit then who's gonna buy even if we sell. just chose your coins wisely, some of them has potential.
Apparently, it may seem like that. We all have our own way of reasoning and how we see things. However, not all opinions are right and Tone Vays on is one of that.

I am pretty much angry with alts too considering that they just get burned out on the slightest movement of bitcoin, like they are just scare of the legacy coin and they really do have no support to get them sustained without relying too much on bitcoin's movement but then because of that calling every one of them scam is not right. Some will still stand the test of time, especially those ones with products.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO regulations and there impact on investors on: March 18, 2018, 12:00:00 PM
ICO must be regulated for sure. I can't see any reason why it should not be regulated. This is very serious things, billions of dollars have been raised.
I do not even expect the government to keep quiet in an environment where a lot of money is being raised globally and by lot, a whole lot of it and the fact that regulating it will benefit the governments. Additionally, considering the fact that scam has been a norm of the day for ICOs, it is high time they started packing their loads and counting their days.

I believe with these developments, things should turn out fine for the ICO space in the long run, which places more advantage to it than disadvantages.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cheating in bounty programs on: March 18, 2018, 08:36:23 AM
Do you think that some bounty programs cheat because they do not want to pay bounty hunters by bringing out things to do at they end of bounty campaign? Share your thought or experience.
Yes it will happen sometimes but most bounty programs paid their applicants according to their effort and honesty in working during the campaign period.
I have not really experienced this anyway, may be that is because I only wear the signature of a particular project I am investing in to at least have more of the tokens, and for the fact that I have done my research on the team not to end up failing on their words, it makes things so easy for me not running into any of them.

I understand I have read a lot of thread with respect to this, but whichever team ends up doing that does not actually want anything good for such project.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: Culture on: March 18, 2018, 08:02:05 AM
In my country gambling is forbidden, unless if it's the church who is promoting the game, then it's allowed. It's very common to see saints' festivals with gambling involved (bingo), usually paying the prizes in products (electronics, meat, wine, candies, vounchers, etc...).

But on the illegal sphere, there are casinos operating inside apartments and houses and these casinos pay the prizes in cash, not products.  Cheesy
Many people like to go into these places, especially retired people.
What kind of gambling game will church even be promoting ? I guess I am confused a little bit here. Gambling is gambling, so why will a church be given an extra priority to go ahead with gambling games and disallow others ?

With your second sentence though, I totally relate with that, because irrespective of how much the government makes gambling illegal, some will still try to always find a way to somehow to do it and same in my country, where there are some undergrounds such things happening with you being able to even get in with a code only, so it is more like a circle.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: March 18, 2018, 07:27:36 AM
I never went home ashamed because of my losses. But I experienced once to go home ashamed because of an incident that I never expected. This is not related to gambling so I won't disclose that thing but it really broken my heart.  Cry I would love to go home ashamed from my losses because I can handle that but not with that experience.
I guess you lost the love of your life when you were thinking you would get something from her that night right? And she ended up bouncing you out in the cold weather with you walking home thinking about your life and how she rubbished you? Grin

Really what is the point telling us you had a walk of shame not related to gambling without telling us the experience you had and now you decided to leave us hanging and imagining things in our own head? You deserve your walk of shame for this thing you just did. Grin Moreover, if you can handle to go home ashamed from your losses, I wonder how terrible what you experienced must have been.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: March 18, 2018, 06:33:55 AM
Honestly this thinking postively is a psychological thing. You will always see things differently and find its goodness once you are thingking positive. When it comes to gambling I agree with you that it is all about luck and for me if you think postive, whether you win or lose, things will still be good in your eyes.
Sorry but that story of yours is only touching to the heart but let us face reality here, there is no positive thinking that can help you in gambling.

It is easy for everyone to think positively and if we are really to talk about high level of positive thinking, I should have won all my lotteries at least once on freebitco.in by now. Grin Jokes apart though, it does not work, just do your thing, expect to get lucky and if you do not, count it as part of the game but setting your hopes too high because of positive thinking, you will end up dipping yourself inside a hot pot of soup.
1693  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it just me or is the Bitcoin price nothing more than a puppet on: March 17, 2018, 05:23:24 PM
I take your point. My main concern with Bitcoin right now is that if you watch the price action it follow neat little jumps and drops that are almost square like.
Some of the square like jumps and drops are either the bear flags or the bull flags as the case may be but one thing about this whole market right now is that it is not really different from the normal stocks or Forex sometimes. Some already have an upper hand in the market as whales and whether we like it or not, they are going to always play their game however they like.

Still, this is one thing we can never rule out until we really find our way to the mainstream and bitcoin get to be used really as a currency with high level of mass adoption. Then, I want to see who want to control it as a puppet when that time comes.
1694  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 17, 2018, 04:22:36 PM
Bitcoin collapsed down by as much as $ 1000 per hour and a similar reaction for the other altcoyins followed. What are the reasons for this is not yet known. Most likely the general unfavorable news flow.
Applying sanctions to several crypto-exchange exchanges in Japan (until closing).
The news flying around presently now is the MtGox trustee dump on the market. https://www.coindesk.com/mt-gox-trustee-sells-400-million-bitcoin-bitcoin-cash/ It is crazy how he would try to make such an infuriating attempt on bitcoin and it is good he got noticed beforehand after selling a whole lot already and much more to sell. So far, he has sold bitcoin worth about $400 million and still more in billions to sell. That dude is cruel!
Cruel indeed but I would not really bother about him for now anymore. If he really wants to dump, he can be my guest right now and in fact, some of us really need to get what he is holding at a very good price, so he is free to sell them to us.

The main factor in the market is that if supply is more than demand, there would always be a drop in the price, and for him since he has decided to do his thing on an exchange where prices affects generally, then his supply is more than the demand from those exchanges which is causing a lot of this.
1695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Artificial Intelligence on: March 17, 2018, 10:42:31 AM
Artificial intelligence on the side of justice. A group of scientists from Michigan, Stanford and the University of California developed the ICORATING algorithm, which is capable of detecting ICO scammers with an accuracy of 83%.
The algorithm examined more than 2000 ICO projects, life expectancy and price changes for the crypto currency, whitepaper, constituent team, GitHub repository, websites and other information from the network.
This development should greatly help investors safely invest their capital in a truly existing and profitable ICO, and also analyze and give an overall assessment of the market.
Are you one of the team member who developed this AI or algorithm? i tried searching for an article on this, but couldn't find anything. would you mind sharing more information or an article (if there is one).
I really would not mind getting some information on this as well. However 83% accuracy sounds a little bit low. 17% is a lot and knowing that there may be some error in spotting some good ones to be bad ones within this few percentage is not a good one.

All the above, if it is for real, it should at least help in a way for the investors who may care anyway but I feel for me to be able to use this, it should be 99 or nothing. Come on! I have even been doing better with 100% accuracy so far in detecting scams, but not the life expectancy thing though. Grin
1696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchanges will survive? on: March 17, 2018, 10:04:09 AM
i strongly believe that in a couple of years we will see two different but both huge types of exchanges.
one of them will be the centralized exchanges but only regulated ones with strict rules and they will be under regulation and control of the government. so they will become big because of the higher security and nearly zero chance of them scamming.
the other one will be decentralized exchanges which will become huge because they are decentralized and nobody can ever control them and also there is near zero chance of anybody scamming you!
If the decentralized exchanges end up working out perfectly well, then I can see them booming a lot and the centralized exchanges taking a huge hit for that, but still when it comes to liquidity, the ease to use, I feel the centralized exchanges may still have an edge but who knows. It is the cryptocurrency world and anything can happen, and with the idea of the decentralized exchanges being favorable and booming, we should even expect the government to start getting their hands dirty on eliminating cryptocurrency entirely as that shows more threat.
1697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Try to recover loss on: March 17, 2018, 09:01:52 AM
it depends of which coins are we talking about if you tell us it is better...

by the way:
-never sell anything
- it is the worst time to sell altcoins
- i sugget to hodl until altcoins start recuperation

If he has really prepared himself for trading, then selling will be the last thing he wants to do right now. Also, if he is prepared, then why ask us since I believe he should know what to do already. Some people think they can just recover their losses from trading anytime they feel like without learning, he will just end up losing more and the whales will be happy to take the little he has been managing to hold away from him.

The best is for him to be patient and hold, and if he wants to trade, he should start learning, then know when to sell when the market starts skyrocketing and giving a sell signal.
1698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bad Psychology of Traders on: March 17, 2018, 06:22:43 AM
I think that one of te most important component of successful trading is psychology. By the term psychology we refer to the state of mind a trader should have while trading.
If we check right now  the situation of the market, I´m totally sure that a lot of people are in a panic state- All of this is going to sell even with losses.
too many fud entering crypto market.so much investor that hold bitcoin or alctoin not in confident.and they prefer hold fiat untill market going stable again.this psychology very very influence.
No smart investor will be stupid enough to keep holding when a trend is changing anyway when they can easily just chill and buy low but some always think it is all about holding. Please, no one should get me wrong; HODLing is fine and as long as you are not a good trader, please always do because that is the safest.

Although for traders, there is what they always look out for in a trade and when that signal shows, the confidence is there to make a trade; either to buy or to sell since they know exactly what they are doing without forgetting to stop any loss in case anything changes fundamentally.
1699  Economy / Economics / Re: Japan to Call for Crypto Rules at the G20 Summit on: March 16, 2018, 01:02:32 PM
Japanese representatives will push for the adoption of global rules on cryptocurrencies at the upcoming G20 meeting in Argentina. Next week, the summit will gather finance ministers and central bankers in Buenos Aires. Other countries also want to put crypto matters on the table, with signals coming from key members of the European Union.

read for more updates here : https://news.bitcoin.com/japan-to-call-for-crypto-rules-at-the-g20-summit/

The probability of this meeting will be the centralization of the crypto currency which will affect the anonymity and the volatility of it. This will be a bad omen for us because government will most probably want to control the flow of cryptocurrencies.
They cannot change what has been done bro and unless they start giving us the crap that all protocols of all the available market to be changed to become a centralized market, otherwise face the consequences, then I see no other way what you have said can play out which what I have said is not even going to be possible.

I am sure what is going to happen is just putting in place some regulations for ICOs, exchanges and some other stuffs but not changing the idea of decentralization.
1700  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin down ( Mt. Gox is dumping ) on: March 16, 2018, 07:37:42 AM
Yeah, read this news also. This is really sad to hear that this is because of this hacking. I am not sure whom will I mad of, mt gox or the hacker. But I know mt gox don't like what happen but they have they flaws also for not hiving their site the best protection. And for the hackers the karma is always around so just wait for it. For the price, yeah I ma expecting it also to lower its price. This is kinda annoying because I hold my bitcoin knowing it will reach in much higher value. But  I guess I have to wait again. Maybe in the end of the year we can see the real increased.
Hacking was never the problem and that was just by the way and a coincidence. It was not even a hack in the first place and binance explained all of that and good they were quickly able to halt that.

However, this MtGox guy was just really busy dumping on the market and really, at some point, I just got tired of trading because as you keep expecting things to change, then all of a sudden you see a huge dump coming which with what he is dumping is not small at all and could easily have impact. All the same though, I am really looking forward to him offering it to me at a cheaper rate.
