Dembélé agreed to play at Barcelona until the summer of 2024, while accepting a 40% cut in his wages. This is good news for the club, but as far as I remember, initially Dembele's salary requests were much higher, he just ended up in free agent status and did not find better options so Barcelona took advantage of. As I said, this is good for the club, but there is a possibility that Dembele will feel cheated and this will bring discord into intra-team affairs.
why does dembele feel cheated if barcelona offer has clearly cost him in terms of wages I mean he should take a pay cut. Barcelona doesn't seem to be putting too much pressure on Dembele to accept their offer. So Dembele decision has been well thought out and both parties have accepted a fair deal. if he felt uncomfortable he certainly wouldn't have signed a new contract. So far there has been no point of agreement between the two parties on the Raphinha issue.
I agree, if there weren't any other team that was trying to give him a better offer, then he is not cheated at all. If it was like a forced thing, then I would understand. For example, a young player getting like 5 year deal, and for a cheap one, then turns out to be a superstar, would be missing out a good payday because he is contractually obligated to play for lesser than what he should be getting worth.

But in this case, he was a free agent and he looked for other teams and no other team wanted him for that kind of money. If anything, Barcelona is cheated here because they offered money to a player that didn't get the same offer from any other team, so they overpaid him even with the pay cut.
1702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Less Worry: Celcius paid off its $114 million Bitcoin-backed loan in 24 hours. on: July 10, 2022, 07:10:52 AM
DeFi, lending and high APYs, all will be liquidated and bankrupted in bear market. Especially if their portfolios have crytocurrencies that have x100, x200 in 2020 and 2021 bull run and they have yet cashed it out to good stable coins.

Things for them will be worse if they used too high leverage in bull run and did not cut their positions to safer leverage.
Unfortunately those lending places do not realize the default rate because they are taking all the money upfront as a collateral, hence why they are not really lending. It's exchanging with extra steps and nothing more.

If I give you 120 dollars worth of LTC today, and get 100 dollars worth of BTC, then we just made an exchange, sure I could pay you back the 100 dollar worth of btc back, and then get the 120 dollar worth of ltc in my account again, but that's literally trading and nothing more, useless. This is why I doubt that all those "defaults" matter to them, they won't crash down to nothing, why? Because they already took so much upfront.
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 09, 2022, 09:02:58 PM
Manchester United needs to rebuild their squad and they should sell or let go most of the players but they should start signing new players because the season is really close and they need to pull some moves on the market to get the best possible players
United have released at least six of their players this season, but sadly United have let them go for free or bring in no income to the club. So far United are still bring in one player for the position of defender. And the transfer market will still close in a few months, so United still have time to negotiate with the players they want. And the main rumor is the barcelona player de jong.
They may have let go a lot of players for free, but they are on the market for a lot more at the same time. Which means that it's not going to be that weird to see them doing awesome with the transfer window.

I mean they could still get players until.. September was it? This is why they are not rushing into anything, if they are willing to get some players for free like Eriksen for example then they need to hurry those up, but if they want to buy some players from some teams then they do not have to worry about anything. This is why I have to say that the best thing to do would be waiting to see what they will do. I am sure they will make some good transfers for sure.
1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin made you a millionaire? on: July 09, 2022, 02:55:44 PM
I am pretty far from being a millionaire, neither do i have that mindset of being a millionaire through cryptocurrency, quite a lot of people have the get-rich-quick mentality with crypto, and it has cost them quite a lot of losses, some they can't even ever recover from, i am a Bitcoin enthusiast, so i hardly have anything to do with altcoins, but what i have noticed is that it is altcoins that people purchase when they start to nurse that get-rich-quick mentality in their heart, mind you that altcoins are risky and aren't long term projects, thus you should sell when you have the opportunity to, especially when you have made ROI. I am not worried about Bitcoin making me a millionaire or anything of that sort, there are other ways i can achieve that goal in RL, i sincerely believe in the Bitcoin network, and that is part of the reason i put my funds in it.
Altcoins do have a chance to be going higher and make you richer if you are lucky. Of course, there are coins out there in the thousands, and if you are lucky you will get that one which will be going up, and not the thousands that will not mean to become anything.

I have been part of so many projects now both as an investor and as a worker, I can tell you that most of them do not even have any intention of being in the top 100, let alone top 10. This is why you know why you should stay away from those, and focus yourself on something more serious. I love bitcoin as well, at least I know what I can do with it and what I can expect, ETH and BNB too, because they are pretty legit as well.
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 08, 2022, 09:10:52 PM
Every player has a great future and it just depends on how they train themselves every day. There's always the potential to improve especially if players want to be the best, and I think Jovic might be able to achieve that if he trains hard.

Good or bad a player for a team depends on how he performs when played in a match. I remember how good Coutinho was at Liverpool that Barcelona were interested in him, but in the end he failed. But on the other hand, a player of mediocre quality can be better if he really wants to improve, and another thing is if handled by the right coach.
This is quite true, you never know how a transfer will turn out until you really see it happening. I personally believe that Jovic would look to be a great player, and I think he is not going to be bad at all, at least not going to have a Coutinho like a career at all.

This is a bit more smaller scale of things, 130 million is a giant number that should only be applied to players that would be world star at the time, and coutinho wasn't a world star even at that time, let alone later, later he became very bad. This is why I believe that we shouldn't really expect the same from Jovic, he is not expected to be that much, he would be fine with whatever expected of him.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 08, 2022, 07:21:01 AM
The competition for football next season will be even more fierce, and Chelsea cannot expect more from an aging player. I certainly tend to expect Chelsea to take on young and talented players. Although Ronaldo is still productive, it cannot be guaranteed to last long. If Chelsea looks to the Monster Club the changes to determine young players have already been made. Manchester City and Liverpool, for example, target players who have long-term prospects. That's the most appropriate thing Chelsea needs to take as well.
I believe that Chelsea would probably do something to get better. I mean this is premier league football and Chelsea is one of the top teams there. With the new owner wanting to show how much he wants to be part of it, he is going to spend a lot of money at first.

These type of people do not straight up spend their own money neither, they get like investors and such, so we are going to see a lot of new transfers. Maybe not all in the same off-season, but he is going to have some this year for sure. This is why I believe we should be quite happy to see what he is going to pull off. Chelsea fans at least should be very excited about it.
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 07, 2022, 08:19:39 PM
Raheem Sterling can add his own quota to the Chelsea struggle. He got dribbling skills and good leg work. Romelu Lukaku got 8 goals for Chelsea last sesson, Sterling had 13 goals in the premier league last season and he wasn't even a starter at Manchester City, If he is goes to Chelsea and has a starting position, he will be able to give them good numbers. Sterling is a smart player, he doesn't get injured easily like other players.
I have to say that Sterling is not the type of player that could turn the whole thing around. He is a great player for sure, but if he was amazing and good enough to make a team better all by himself, he would have stayed in City instead. He would be a good addition there is no doubt about that, but people are acting as if this is something that would be unbelievable to everyone, which is not.

Chelsea getting Sterling is not a shocker, in fact it is quite expected result. Chelse aneeds to get a super striker, Lukaku didn't pan out, I am guessing that they are looking for someone, and if they could get that player, they would be much better for sure.
1708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have real value? on: July 07, 2022, 06:04:54 PM
Of course it does.

1 Bitcoin is approximately worth 20 thousand US dollars which is enough to buy a decent used car everywhere in the world. Whether you say it has value or not has no meaning. The world isn't spinning around you. Maybe bitcoin is worthless to you, that's fine. Lots of other people think that way too but on the other hand, lots people people think its worth $20k right now.

The US dollar has value too. No matter how crappy it is getting, people still use it.
People are saying that the price and the value are different things, that's the issue. I mean I think they are the same thing and if people think it is not then it's their problem. But, what you are talking about is the price, so when they come here again, they will say that 20k is the price, and not the value.

I believe if we were to say the value is different, I would put the value a lot higher, in my mind bitcoin WILL be 100k+ for sure and there is no doubt about that at all. This is why we should try to focus on what we can do and not what we can't control and since I know it will go up, I just buy as much as I can and patiently wait for it to go up.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 07, 2022, 08:55:33 AM
According to sources Raheem Sterling has confirmed a move to Chelsea as an agreement has been reached for a transfer fee of £45m and this has been agreed by both parties.
However, at this time Chelsea are still prioritizing the transfer of Rapinha, which it is reported that Chelsea are also interested but this is still waiting for an offer from Barcelona whether there is a match or not with the Leeds side but Chelsea will still wait for the next news, which means with other rumors Ronaldo and Neymar who will go to Chelsea is still not a priority. Tuchel seems to focus on other players compared to the two stars.
Why though? I never truly understand the moves at the very top teams. Dude plays very well in City, and I believe he is a very talented player and he wasn't the reason they lost in UCL, and he has contributed consistently to a team that won the league so many times now. Getting rid of him to Chelsea, a team that is close to them makes no sense to me. Is it about the money only? I mean City doesn't look like a team that is in need of a lot of money to be fair.

In any case, if it is done deal then it is done deal and not like Sterling went to a bad team and not like City would suddenly be a bad team just because they lost Sterling, makes no sense.
1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hello Guys what you think about bnb.can bnb hit 1000$ soon or not.i think bnb hi on: July 06, 2022, 09:58:44 PM
BNB burn is scheduled to take place. For this reason in  BNB/BTC trading pair we were able to experience the rise in the price of BNB. The BNB on transaction fee too is burnt and now BNB burning could've crossed 100k BNB. For this reason it is always a best investment for long term holding than any other altcoins. So, $1000 is possible someday for sure.
I agree that there is a good case to be made about the burning that increases the price "psychologically" goes up. Why not really but psychologically? Because, the reality is that the coins that got burned are the coins that literally Binance held anyway. Which means that the price shouldn't be affected, it is literally in "a safe" basically and gets burned which means that it wasn't in the circulation to begin with.

This is more like guarantee that it would never be, but if you trusted binance to begin with, that means you knew long before the burning process that it wouldn't be in the market anyway. This is why I honestly believe that it shouldn't impact it much, but it will impact it a lot.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 06, 2022, 07:25:03 AM
Matthijs de Ligt is a talented enough player. And he is a good defender for a big and renowned team like Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich's defense needed to be strengthened. If de Ligt can adapt well to the Munich team, Bayern Munich's defense will be stronger next season. The important thing is that de Ligt's fitness is excellent. At the same time, this young player will be able to stay with Bayern Munich for a long time
I am not sure if he is fast enough though. I mean he is definitely a great defender at an "anchor" role if you want him to play like that. But at the same time we are talking about a player that may not fit the tactic of Bayern.

Usually the defenders there are very fast, and they are very big and strong at the same time, which means that we are going to end up with a player that would a bit shine out of everyone else. Would it work? Maybe, I do not know, I am not a great manager or something, I am just a guy who talks about football and watches football, and a bit wagers on football. But if nagelsmann wants him, and they get him, then they probably have a system in place in their minds.
1712  Economy / Economics / Re: From Sideways to Downhill on: July 05, 2022, 09:48:20 PM
Keeping a positive approach while you are into this kind of industry will allow you to develop good and useful mindsets, there are sways that might affect your trading position and a need of adjustment that will let you continue to be compensated, but not all can do things like this and possibilities of losing a trade is not impossible, but coping and moving forward is the best thing to take the challenge..
It is certainly something that will decide on the future of your profits as well. If you know what you are doing right now, then you would be easily making profit later on. People who could turn a profit during a bear period would find the bull period very easy. This is why I personally feel like it's easy to go over this bear period?

I just buy as much as I can, and I hold it as much as I can, and then I turn a profit from it when the time comes. Yes, it's not easy, and yes it takes time but at the same time we are talking about something simple here, just buy and hold. This is why it's quite easy to "survive" this period, and then make a profit later.

but only noticed it today, and it's a great feature. I personally can exchange only 1 WOF ticket per day, but it's better than nothing, and I'm planning to do it until it's over, or I run out of Reward Points.
I also like many others could only exchange just 1 WoF ticket daily at the beginning, but once I started to wager daily and consistently and after I made like 0.05 Bitcoin or somewhat more in total wagered amount I am enjoying now from many days like exchanging 4 WoF daily.I guess that if I probably wagered like 0.50 Bitcoin it would be an insane amount to exchange daily up to 40 WoF spins for Reward Points. That feature is one of the best as if used just once daily and if we use it after 1 PM European time usually we get also the WoF daily spins from Premium Membership and together we have more daily spins.
You also get more when you have a lot more fun tokens as well, you get to increase it with more and more fun tokens you have, want to know how you could turn that into a loop? You earn more, you turn that into fun tokens, you earn more wof, and then you turn the rewards into more fun ... well you got it, just cycle it. That way you will keep having more and more and more fun tokens forever and eventually reach the max possibility.

I will probably never get there at all, that's just way too much money for me and if I ever get there, I would probably sell it and buy some stuff, but until that day, I feel like I am doing the most correct way of approaching it.
1714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 05, 2022, 05:42:33 AM
I'm sure Gabriel Jesus will turn out to be a very important player for Arsenal in whatever their ambition is for next season, i commend Gabriel for taking this bold step, i actually have a problem with players who are happy with little or no playing time, my philosophy remains that if you aren't getting the playing time you deserve, and you stick around and fight for a starting place in the team and it just isn't working, i prolly think it should be time the player left. Gabriel was obviously comfortable in City, winning multiple trophies and playing occasionally, but he wasn't still satisfied, he was also aware that the arrival of Erling would further reduce his playing time, thus he had to leave, he will play very regularly at the Emirates Stadium, and that is what he needs for the overall development of his career.
Maybe he will be Arsenal single sticker next season. where last season arsenal only relied on Lacazette as a lone sticker and in fact he did not display an impressive performance up front for arsenal. Arsenal main problem last season I think Arteta didn't have a star sticker up front and now Gabriel Jesus can fill this gap. Arsenal is known as a team filled with young players and has not won a championship mentality in the past few seasons. I hope Arteta can form a better squad in this summer window.
I would guess that even if he is not the only one, he would certainly be the one that is preferred for sure. It would create a type of situation where it is a big deal and it would create some type of chances for him to actually showcase his talent.

Yes, he has shown the world he is a good player there is no denying that, but he is rarely a player that ended up being the sole striker that gets all the minutes and score a bunch of goals. Imagine a season where he scores 20+ goals and has like 10+ assists, and if he does that like twice in a row, I am pretty sure that he would go to another big club once again and this time for good and to get a ton of money to play as the single striker. I feel like him being replacement for Benzema would be ideal situation.
1715  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Alt coins are About to pump again! on: July 04, 2022, 09:05:29 PM
Bitcoin is called the leader of the crypto market. The price of this bitcoin depends on the price of other alt coins. As the price of Bitcoin goes up, So does the price of other alt coins. Today, with the rise in the price of bitcoin, the price of alt coins has risen significantly.  However, the increase in the price of Bitcoin is temporary.
I would say it is the reverse, price of bitcoin is not depending on the price of altcoins, it is the altcoins that end up getting pumped based on the bitcoin price and that is why it could be something much more reasonable. This is something that shows the power of bitcoin, it is certainly something quite important to realize that the best thing that could be done right now is investing into bitcoin.

Of course, it is not going to be getting you like 100x return or something, but it will certainly get you something that would be a bit more dangerous if you invested into altcoins and then realize that you did something wrong by picking one that goes down a lot.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 03, 2022, 09:16:01 PM
Your dream to see CR7 next season with Manchester United is likely to be difficult to come true because their mega star wants to leave this summer. he wants to play in a club that has ambitions to win trophies. I hope he can join PSG in the next season. I am waiting for the two world football stars to play in one team. maybe if he manages to join PSG I think PSG will be a big enough candidate to win the UCL trophy. because messi, mbappe, ronaldo are players who have very impressive abilities on the pitch in recent seasons.
Do you think when they (messi, mbappe and ronaldo) are in one team they will be compact when playing? Because when they realize their own potential is still very good, then everyone will try to score goals individually without distributing the ball to others and that I think will be very detrimental to the club. And actually this season PSG also didn't have many shortcomings in their line of players, but it's a pity that they still didn't get the UCL trophy.
I still think that if we are talking about what is "possible" then it is totally possible to see all three together. Neymar and PSG has been doing some talking and they may not all be in the same page. Which means that if Neymar is sold, then there will be one empty place there. Ronaldo played a great season with United, and he is almost always available as well.

If we were to compare Neymar and Ronaldo as of right now (ronaldo is clearly better if we look all careers) I would pick Neymar today and he is better, but I would take 30+ games of Ronaldo over 15 games of Neymar. This is why if they get rid of Neymar, and use only a small amount of it to get Ronaldo, it could actually make them better.
1717  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I survive in a place where BTC is restricted? on: July 03, 2022, 08:52:48 AM
I am always worried that if my country takes aggressive action by closing cryptocurrencies, even though we hold the private key but we will encounter many difficulties, especially if I want to receive money from cryptocurrencies transactions, the easiest way is to make credit cards so it is easier for transactions at cryptocurrencies.
the best way is to keep withdrawing your money time to time and invest in some secure local businesses. My friend was doing good in cypto - but his wallet got hacked and he was so upset. But then he started withdrawing money and invested in some local property - he is happy with his decision after a big loss.
Just because your friend invested into bitcoin and got hacked, doesn't mean that bitcoin is a bad decision to go on. Plus, just because he invested into some local places, doesn't mean that it would be smart for them neither. Sure there could be some situations where you may get hacked and nobody denies that, but YOU are the one that is getting hacked in that situation, hence the problem is not in the nature of bitcoin, it is in the nature of people, who get hacked.

I have been here for nearly 10 years now, never got hacked, not because I am so careful or anything, but none of my coins are in places that could be hacked hence even if someone literally got my phone and my pc, they still wouldn't get a dime out of me.
1718  Economy / Economics / Re: if you think 18k btc is low wait until autumn ... on: July 03, 2022, 05:31:42 AM
Today the price of Bitcoin drops again to around $ 19K, in my opinion this is a good four, I have a target to continue to buy as long as I think is low, of course the opportunity to buy at a low price is difficult to happen again when market rising.
We do not really need to fear this one fall because to be fair to it, we didn't really had any problems in the fundamental sense, it was just one whale that sold a ton of bitcoin. It was a huge amount, like half a billion dollars worth, and when the volume is low, and you take out half a billion dollars, then you end up facing a bit of a fall. Believe me, when the prices return to normal and the volume is high, all of these would be normal.

Plus, if someone ends up buying half a billion dollars today, we would go back up right away like nothing happened. This is why it is not a fundamental reason and it is a simple drop that would be recovering anytime now.
1719  Economy / Economics / Re: You win or you learn. on: July 02, 2022, 06:08:24 PM
Both will always be side by side, we don't always have to win. In every new hype, new challenges will emerge that are more psychologically affecting to enter into it.
Basically it is a circle, most people call it a cycle but it is a circle basically. We get a bull run, we get a bear run, then we get a bull run, then bear then bull then bear. This goes on forever and will go on forever. The world can't make a profit forever, it is just not possible at all, and the world can't make a loss forever neither, it is impossible for people to get to a level where there is no money, it would create chaos.

So in the end, we are going to have to just live one bear and then one bull and repeat that circle forever. Right now we are in the bear run, or at least at the bottom of the bear run by the looks of it, then we will end up with a bull run for sure.
1720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Among all which do you hold on: July 02, 2022, 02:15:03 PM
otherwise you don't have much time to watch and observe the market it's better to just hold and let your investment grow automatically by staking on a platform you trust.
It's a good option if you're always getting burned in trading and choose to stake. Speaking of staking platforms, there are too many of them and it all lies down to the choice of altcoins that you want to stake. In exchanges, if you're going to stake bitcoin, that's not really what it mean is but you're letting them borrowed your bitcoin for them to use it for lending. You both share the interest that the borrower will pay the exchange. And for the choice of staking platforms, based on the list of stakingrewards, mycointainer.com is on the top 7 for staking providers.
That’s true, it’s not really "staking" in that sense. This means that we gotta just realize that bitcoin can't be staked. The name of it being "stake" doesn't even do it justice, it is just a simple situation where it’s you giving your money to someone else to make more money for you. Is this staking? Absolutely not, but if you do it on places such as Binance then it’s going to be quite fine.

Yes, it’s not named right, but they are legit company, and they would be willing to not lose customers and reputation so they will pay you even if they have to do it out of pocket. However, you need to be careful about all the other places and that’s going to hurt you a bit if you pick a wrong place.
