1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: May 27, 2017, 01:01:27 PM
Experience is just one of those things that makes u think you can be better at gambling than someone else but at the end of the day its still a game of chance and a complete newbie has the same chance of winning as the most seasoned veteran gambler.

It is giving you some confidence that you can be better but there are only few chosen gambling games that will give you an advantage if you have the experience. But if you will play the games that are depending only with luck, experience is just a plus but it won't matter at all. Also in investing to a casino bankroll, you don't need experience on it.

I think you mean poker and maybe sports bets. Yes, experience will give you an advantage sometimes but not always. Whatever good hand you might have in poker there is always a chance that someone else has it better. And in sports you know everything happens. So, in my opinion "experience" is what makes you lose big in gambling, regardless of the type.

Yes they are counted, poker and sports betting is one of those games that will give you an advantage when it comes experience. You know how to handle pressure and risk, that's the main reason why most of the experienced gamblers are not scared to lose or to take the risk when they are playing these games. I admire most those bluffers.

I'm not sure whether it was a sarcasm or not, but I'll respond seriously. Gamblers who are not scared to take risks do not worthy of admiration imo because what they risk is not theirs in most cases. It belongs to their families, and they are simply robbing their families losing it to gambling.

Those gamblers that are not scared to take the risk deserves some admiration but it will depend with the outcome of the risk they are taking. If the result is good, they deserve it. And that's the good thing when it comes to having some experience in gambling, you are not truly thinking about negative thing but instead you are optimistic.

Being optimistic when gambling is not what you need experience for. On the contrary, experience makes you pessimistic and that's a good thing because then you don't risk much.

But that's just my opinion, and if you like to be optimistic, that's your choice and I can only wish you good luck from all my heart.   Smiley

I also have Windows and for some reasons my torcoin wallet disappears every time after shutting down the computer. To make it work I have to extract all the files again from zip folder and only then it's working again. But I have never had any alerts from my windows defender.

maybe check this out ??

bumbacoin, thank you! First time it didn't work, but then I took a closer look at everything and now my Torcoin wallet is not disappearing every time I shut down my computer. 3 files were identified as Trojan by my windows defender but as long as I trust iluvbitcoins who says there's no viruses in the Torcoin wallet I removed those files from the quarantine list.
1783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 27, 2017, 12:30:50 PM
just a thought...
if one btc can cost $3k
then there is no reason 1XRP cant cost $3  Cool

( next 3-5 hours my fresh fiat will become fresh XRP  Tongue )

I think XRP can easily reach $2 by the end of this year. But let's talk about the max Ripple can reach in the far future. If all the banks will adopt it and it will replace all the money eventually, 1 XRP might be as high as $750 one day, but hardly more than that.

Here's how I came to that number:

All the money in the world =~ $75 Trillion

Max Supply of Ripple = 100,000,000,000 XRP

$75 Trillion / 100,000,000,000 XRP = 750$/XRP

I don't know what to tell you..... get out of the rock you're under. Crypto Enthusiasts won't support it and neither will banks. It's a shitcoin. Hype does not last forever...

Really? What's this then?

Integrations with Ripple:

In case you think those are insignificant, I want to remind you that UBS is the biggest bank in Switzerland, operating in more than 50 countries and
Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce(CIBC) was named the strongest bank in North America and the 3rd strongest bank in the world, by Bloomberg Markets magazine. And that's just two from the list.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have found a long term and strong dice strategy. on: May 26, 2017, 03:00:47 PM

I could name a names of people on youtube right now who have systematically done what you say is impossible, with videos showing them do it week in and week out, against real casino and rng games. Winning over $250,000 in single sessions a small relatively "dust" balance and working up a couple thousand into way over $100,000 with a "system", you have no idea cos you dont do any research worth paying attention to.

The only reason casinos dont go bankrupt, is because they deny "advantage" players entry, simple!

AND First you need the money to make a high basebet  Roll Eyes

Why you so angry ? Cheesy

How would online casinos deny players entry? I would like to know that, you can set a new IP and come to an online casino over and over again, your logic is stupid, as I said if a strategy worked, every single online casino would be bankrupt but they aren't, amazing. I would like to know those names on youtube right now.

You know im talking about real casinos. Why should i tell you ... ill give you 2 clues, roulette and roulette others can tell you if they know.

Anyway last cap for today 70,000 rolls ...

~

I don't care that you are talking about real casinos, read this carefully please. IF a strategy for roulette/dice existed and worked it could obviously be applied to online casinos as well because it's the same thing and they have the same odds, that strategy is based on math, nothing physical that the roulette may have. THEREFORE someone who knew about that strategy could easily go to any online casino, bitcoin/usd doesnt matter and wipe the fucking casino, if he gets kicked or banned he can easily create another account and keep doing it and eventually every casino would die, can you follow the logic on this?

I agree with every word in this comment. We don't need to go in full details of any strategy because it is physically impossible for such a thing to exist. Life is too short to examine such things in detail.
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to....Poloniex? on: May 26, 2017, 02:28:21 PM
Poloniex used to have such a good reputation, but it seems that nowadays the Polo trollbox is full of people complaining about the lack of service.

Now...Poloniex must  be making extraordinary amounts of money, so they could easily fix the problem....but they don't

So the problem must be that they don't care (unlikely)...or something else...what could it be?

Poloniex has 600+ million in trading volume per day these days. I think they should have hired more support staff to avoid the complaints you've mentioned. I'm sure they do care and they will solve this problem in the nearest future.
1786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monaco Visa ICO - tomorrow - latest scam? on: May 26, 2017, 01:31:50 PM
I don't think it's a scam...and if it is, its will be one of the good ones

What do you mean by that? It will be good for them or for people? Because as far as I know some people make money even with scams if they start at the very beginning and then quit in time. Although I've never tried to practice this I've heard it works sometimes.
1787  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're reaching $3,000 soon! on: May 26, 2017, 01:07:57 PM
At this pace BTC will hit $5,000 until the end of the year! Every BTC holder must know this: you will own a fortune in a few years!

Is $10,000 reachable? I guess it's clear that it is!  (2-3 years)

Is $25,000 reachable? Why not!   (5-10 years)

Is $50,000 reachable? Harder but not impossible!  (>10 years)

I like your prognosis but also I'd like to ask on what it is based? I agree with you and I'm almost saying the same things to my friends but I want to know what can I say to them if they disagree. The only thing I can say so far is that bitcoin will get more adoption in the future and that's why its price will rise.
1788  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: May 26, 2017, 12:50:39 PM
^ Most idiotic comment ever

Why would anyone hold stuff which will fall?Huh?

I diasagree. He means the falling is a temporary thing, so why to sell at low price and thus making it to drop even more? Remember 2014 when people who bought at $1,200 were panic selling at $800. They should have hold their coins and now they would be in profit.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If today was your last day, would you gamble everything? on: May 26, 2017, 12:38:17 PM
If it is my last day I guve my whole day to the my families, I give a lot of memories that never be forget. All my money that I save for my gambling I use it to secure the future of my relatives even it is small amount but it's a big help to there daily needs.

And for the friends in gambling I gave a thanks especially when I'm stress I forgot other problems with gambling. And I will advice everyone that gambling is wrong, don't be addicted play this as entertainment.

Exactly, if this will be my last day i wont gamble my money but instead give my time to my family. if im dying id like to do the things that i didnt accomplish when im still fine and dont have illness. i doubt someone will spend their money in gambling rather than give it  to his loved ones when it is their last day.

I agree with you because I don't regard gambling as an option to increase my money. But some people might argue with us saying that in order to give more to your loved ones you should gamble in your last day. Well, it's for them to decide but I'll stick to my opinion.
1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [MOON] Can the Mooncoin rise up to 0,01$ in 2017 ? on: May 26, 2017, 12:26:04 PM
Yea but the circulation supply is in fact too much. How the hell are we going to see 0.01 with 200 billion coins in such a short amount of time?

First - 148 billion, the two top addresses are compromised and excluded from the wallet. Dogecoin with 109 billion coins is beyond doubt? I think a return to 30-35 Sat is real, it is quite realistic to achieve 50 Sat. And already 10 Satoshi - even there is no doubt. MOONCOIN already on the BTC-market. In addition, we do not know how much the BTC will cost, so $ 0.01 is also likely, although now it seems fantastic, like LTC 5 years ago. We are at the very beginning of the journey.

Well, if you say so. I wouldn't want to crack your joy, as a fellow cryptocurrency trader. I wish you and MOONers the very best of luck.

I also want express my support to the MOONers. This coin was created long time ago, in 2013, and the mere fact that the MOON is not only alive but even has the ability to rise at some point inspires hope.
1791  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: May 26, 2017, 10:52:19 AM
I'm in a situation now where my little sister is asking me about bitcoin. And I told her that she can try to claim satoshi with many faucets. In my opinion, it's he easiest way of teaching kids about bitcoin. Teach them on how they will claim satoshi because it's the easiest way of earning bitcoin that they can learn.

Right, that's a good way to teach children about BTC. To collet satoshis they have to create a wallet. Then they will be checking the rates to see how much they have in USD. And thus, step by step, they will be learning things.
On these faucets there are many tutorials and guidance and introduction and descriptions about bitcoin so they will read to these articles on these faucets and so they will get the knowledge of bitcoin and then they will not need any other person to teach them.
Yeah that would be an easy way to teach kids because even if you explain it to them i think they cant understand it clearly even adults who dont know btc are having a hard time understanding it. for kids, teaching them slowly on how to earn btc through faucets will gain their knowledge about it in time.

That's because kids nowadays don't want to learn anything without being paid for it. Parents give them money or buy them what they want for receiving high grades at school and that's totally normal because everyone wants to get paid for doing something. Same goes for bitcoin.

1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: May 26, 2017, 08:40:33 AM
Honestly no gambler will be ready to accept their losses and that is the reason they always want to recover their losses. In the process of recovering, they do get gambling addictions and finally finding it is too hard for them to give up their gambling activities.

You are wrong on this and I am able to accept what I lose. For me gambling is a kind of entertainment therefore when I lose, I dont feel that I need to recover what I lose. It might be different for some people however Im not the same person that you are referring to. Sometimes different thing do exist alongside with those normal thing
You have admitted that you gamble for fun so if any person will gamble for fun then he will spend that money which he can afford to spend for fun while the others who chase their money are the people who think gambling as a source of income so they invest their capital in gambling and when lose they start to recover and for that they spend more money.

yup it's easy to play with fun when you play with small amounts only, but in another case if you play with huge amount you will afraid to lose your money even when you though you already accept that play with money afford to lose. addicted gamblers would be hard to forget the loss they got that's why they would invest some more to get back what he just lost even non-addicted gamblers would be hard to forget if he played with huge amounts.
I also started with playing small amount but I lose my interest and I go bigger that's why I lose bigger as well.
I think it is important that you control your emotion in gambling because if not you will not be able to follow your bankroll management.

I can only hope that this won't happen to me. I gamble for almost 2 years and I never lost more to it than I can afford, so it wasn't a stressful experience for me even once. But I've read a lot of posts where people say they also started gambling just for fun and now they are addicted gamblers, and this creeping me out.

told you it was coming. check Coin market cap

Actually it's 0.00000003 at coinmarketcap right now but still it is 218% rising just in one day, which is not bad at all. $548,818 in trading volume is also a good indice. I think MOON can rise more, the question is how much.

EDIT: Among top 100 coins in coinmarketcap Mooncoin has the greatest rising in the last 24 hours, wow.

If you want people to take you serious, then at least put some effort into making yourself not look like a clown. It's pointless to speculate about such insanely high prices while we haven't even been close to reaching the $10,000 level yet. If he would say that we would reach $10,000 within 10 years, I would strongly support his statement, but how can I do that with $1 million? Other than that, I do agree with his statement that people should allocate a certain percentage of their wealth to Bitcoin. People have been looking at the price reaching $1300, $1400, $1500, $1600, etc, and started thinking it was too late to invest - look where we stand right now, it's never too late!

I agree with you, $1 Million seems unrealistc, but $10k 5-10 years is quite possible.

But if we let us to indulge in fantasies for a while we can try to imagine what will happen if bitcoin will replace all the money in the world. There are roughly $75 trillion in the world right now. Since it is a very rough estimation say we have 20 million BTC.

75 trillion / 20 million = 3.75 million

So in that case 1 bitcoin will be worth of $3.75 million.

We'll be hitting $5-$10K a LOT sooner than that. Just you wait. Things are only just starting to warm up. HODL on tight, people.

$5K in next 6 weeks... willing to wager 1BTC that I am right.. anyone want to bet against me?

No, I don't want to bet against you because you are probably right. We are over $2,700 already and the rising continues. Maybe we'll see $5k even earlier than in 6 weeks. Some people say it's a bubble which is going to burst soon, but I don't think they are right.
