Pirate, your avatar turned 45 degrees counter-clockwise this week. Is this some kind of countdown and when we see your back we know you sailed north with all our coins? Wink

I too saw this and thought : "hmmm, strange because I thought he had a different avatar yesterday"

I am not going crazy after all Cheesy !
183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOWTO: create a 100% secure wallet on: June 30, 2012, 02:53:19 PM
Nothing is 100% secure.

You fail at security if you really believe 100% secure exists Roll Eyes

Plus, old ladies on retirement are cheap as hell. Four dollars under the table n they are ready to get to work on the production line.

Good of you to come in this here thread.

I see you selling some rigs : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=90821

I previously saw you trying to sell those rigs to David_Benz. What happened ?

What was the deal with you and OP David_Benz ?

Running a confidence scam ?

He did not pay and you got scammed ?

Just like sadpandatech is saying, this appears fishy to say the least.

I thought you already sold the rigs to David_Benz and now you are trying to selling them again to some other guy ?

actually, i am selling those rigs...

I did sell some listed items, as you may see with your own eyes listed on the bottom, and are conveniently crossed out with his name next to said items.

that was the deal with me and OP David_Benz.

The deal for the whole lot was actually with another User by the name of Delkore & him trying to partner up, but delkore backed out of said deal so it all fell through.

i dont need confidence.

he paid me for said items crossed out, never been scammed by him over 5 previous dealings.

it appears fishy?... i had fish taco's last night.

you thought wrong if i already Sold the Rigs to David_Benz, trying to sell them again to some other guy?, and you have extremely poor comprehension skills if you truly believe that.

Did i answer your questions?

Just like sadpanda said "It was just a question. No need to get all defensive on me. :/"

Just seems a bit fishy. I recall the Dexter and Powercoiner scam thread ...

Good luck selling them GPUs with ASICs coming, though !

$250 per month all inclusive ? seems like a bargain as in UK it would cost $250 per months just in electricity costs, not to mention the 20% non refundable import tax.

And the shipping too !

UK is a rip off country ...
187  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Date for 25 BTC per Block on: June 30, 2012, 12:43:58 PM
Approximate 5 months left until the block reward halfs, get ready people!

Get ready for what?

$10 price. Or shall we call it $12 actually ?

WOW. I actually remember that Dexter guy with his cool rack of cards with LED dummy plugs and industrial AC setup !

I also remember the Powercoiner guy selling like 35 5830 cards !

But ... there is a difference here mate.

The guys paid with wire transfer so they could trace him to his real information.

If they would have paid with BTC I doubt they would have had anything back.

didnt you guys find out where some of the other scammers live ?
just curious what has ever been done to them... besides bad mouth them on the forums ?

shameless plug..  I will buy bad debts / assist in collecting from scammers in Australia =)

Some idiot from Germany got doxed and was about to get arrested before he suddenly decided to return all the BTC and blame everything on his roommate. Can't remember the thread though.

Arrested for WHAT ?

Surely not for the stolen BTC ... nobody recognizes them anyway.

"Crybaby : mom, he stole my imaginary money !
Police : Stop trolling noob !"

Can't remember, but apparently it was serious enough for him ti do a 180 and return the money.

How much were they talking about ?

I find this hard to believe, still ... shakaru took $20K and nobody did a damn thing !

191  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US health care mandate (Obamacare) on: June 30, 2012, 10:54:08 AM
Will ruin the healthcare system in the US.

I am in the crappy UK and the NHS system is seriously messed up here.

It is true : you get what you pay for ! Crap doctors, huge waiting lists, can't do a blood test unless it is "needed" etc.

Healthcare managed by government = total POS; the government ruins everything mate !

I feel sorry for you in the US now you are forced to pay into the public healthcare scam ...

194  Other / Off-topic / Re: Euro 2012 on: June 30, 2012, 10:38:16 AM
Who cares: Italy vs Spain
is like my left sock vs my right sock

Very true.

I would have wanted Germany vs Spain final like in 2010 with Germans beating Spain suckers.
195  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: June 30, 2012, 10:35:36 AM
If anyone wonders : I really don't care about the scammer tag.

However, I do care about being treated unfairly just because the guy was VIP.

Either you apply the tag to all guys or take it off me then. Apply the policy fairly to all forum users.

It does not say that Donator and VIP can label anyone scammer just because if you pay 10 BTC to forum.

I understand treating donator and VIP like royalty because they paid and me like a hobo because I didn't but I assumed that rules apply regardless of Donator or not.

Look at David_Benz scammer and donator guy ... very interesting case with him.

This is unfair. I refuse to provide refund = I get tag WHILE other people scam outright and get nothing ?

That is why I am upset and created this thread.

196  Other / Off-topic / Re: Euro 2012 on: June 30, 2012, 10:07:20 AM
I am really surprised with Euro 2012 Final Spain-Italy, I was thinking that Germany will beat Italy, but SuperMario was ace from the sleeve. Any predictions for the final? Italy seems to be quite strong...

Shame Portugal did not kick the crap out of Spain.

Also, Germany should have won that with Italy Undecided

England sucks so bad like always, no surprise there ...

I hope Italy win though. Spain is too much win : 2008 and 2010.

Leave someone else to win !
197  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will the new BFL SC ASIC units work with p2pool? on: June 30, 2012, 10:02:12 AM
Will the new units have the same problem as the old Singles where it wouldn't stop working on a problem for 5 seconds making it useless for p2pool?

The answer is yes.

Regards,
BF Labs Inc.

So they will work with p2pool? Or will they have the same problem? (My question was ambiguous - not your fault)

They will work without any problems.

Regards,
BF Labs Inc.

What about the mining software ?

Easyminer or cgminer ?

Forced use of EMC pool again or not ?

Looking forward to response !
198  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA development board "Lancelot" - official discussion thread. on: June 30, 2012, 10:00:31 AM
Quote

I totally agree with you! Today Icarus is extremely profitable and will continue to be up until the block reward switches to 25 BTC or ASIC hits the network! But there is a missing part in your equation! what if BFL really delivers ASIC in October? or even January? By then Icarus will produce between minimum 1 maximum 5% BTC of what its currently producing! and if am lucky enough I would be able to sell it out for 100 USD! The value that I will lose in the hardware will be higher than the mined BTC value in the coming months!

I forgot to tell you that I've just bought 6 Icarus boards last month @ 500$ including shipment and tax! The hypothetical vision makes more sense for me here! If the factual vision makes more sense for you or anyone who is still interested in Icarus, I offer my newly arrived 6 Icarus boards @ 380 USD!

At least someone sees the light.

These spartans are only worth like $100 on the market now with 28nm FPGA coming.

This dude is making a killing.

Buy FPGA now and you are literally throwing your money in the wind ... never will be ROI paid back.

When you get break even ( mine enough BTC to pay off device cost in USD ) then you still have not made any profit since these devices are worth like $0.

Good luck trying to sell them when ASIC hits and more power to you trying to sell your crappy FPGA to industry that is now using all new 28nm FPGA.

This is not GPUs mate. This FPGA stuff is now totally useless with ASIC coming.

I doubt BFL ASIC is not going to come since they have like $400k in sales already.

Good luck losing your money on SPARTA !!!
199  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL, answer me this! on: June 30, 2012, 09:56:12 AM
Yes, no answer to me yet.

3 reps doing nothing else but answering emails that apparently cannot answer an email in 5 days..... sounds like more BFL Bullshit to me.

Are you kidding me?  You got two phone calls, several PM's and full clarification on how we'll handle your particular situation...  which were all beneficial and fully flexible in your favor including full refund.   We updated your account with your wishes so the staff could act appropriately when they came to your order position.
Yet you still come in a public forum and claim you're being ignored.    THIS is why we don't participate in the forums.   Most of it is misleading...  on purpose by people attempting to use the exposure to gain a personal advantage through intentional deception.   It was a mistake to jump the system and reach out to you in the first place.  Lesson learned.

...., This is the kind of public breakdown Id expect from Inaba - childish and unprofessional.
It seems the forums are perfectly ok for you to spam and troll while you cherry pick the responses you wish to acknowledge BUT HOW DARE A PAYING CUSTOMER AIR HIS CONCERNS.

What fucking joke of a company.

Even with cuz0882 getting a response, I emailed them June 22nd at 6am Pacific Time. It is currently 7am Pacific time, 7 days later, and I have no response from them. With us coming into the 4th of July holiday I am expecting there will be an additional delay.

BFL: Have you thought about getting a ticketing system or something that can better handle customer contact? At this point I don't even have recognition that you GOT my email.

But they swear they have 3 people working full time answering emails.....
~900 orders / 5 business days / 7.5 business hours / 3 workers = 8 emails per hour per worker for 1 week if every one of the 900 orders dropped an email.

Holly shit, these employees must be run off their feet dealing with these emails !!!, 1 an hour, shit that most be literally 25TB of data a second. CUT BFL SOME SLACK GUYS - OVER 1 EMAIL AN HOUR !!!!!

Still no answer to my email, but I sent it on the 23rd, so... it's probably still waiting in the queue.

DUDE, lets see you handle their email volume !

Thanks BFL for providing yet more entertainment, this is a train wreck that just keeps on going.

Love your responses man. You are epic.

Just curious why you seem to believe Inaba = BFL.

It is impossible and a mathematical uncertainty for that to be true !
200  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will the CGMINER developer get a loaner unit from BFL? on: June 30, 2012, 09:54:08 AM
Do you think Eclipse will be able to handle 100 TH/s ?

Solo-mining ! The way to go Smiley

Who knows? I am sure Inaba would pay attention to the state of the software available and if the only thing is EasyMiner then my assumption would be he would try and prepare for it.

WHAT ? You don't want Inaba and EMC to do a 51% with all them juicy ASICs ?

Call me crazy but it sounds just perfect for me !

No cgminer needed. This is not GPU. CGMiner is perfect for GPUs.

ASIC will probably come with EasyMiner software and Inaba EMC 51% kill bitcoin switch sadly Cry
