How about locking satoshi's account too ?
We already have, but for unrelated reasons. What if he decides to come back ? Seems a bit harsh ... not convinced he really died or something.

Unbelieveable how much crap guys like Con have to go through to provide great free software and they get like what , 50 bucks in BTC ? lol
While profiteering douchebags like BFL and their cult of minions make a killing.
Anyone want to send ckolivas 50 BTC in advance for the next cgminer release? It will be available in 6 months, he promises <wink>
BTW, LUKE-JR = fail
For the last ten or so months I have been following BTC it seems you are always in the middle of some type of shit storm. Wake up buddy. When you're always involved, the problem is likely YOU.
Kano and others have helped countless people here for free from everything including linux installs, etc.
You my friend just bitch and moan.
For the record, I don't know Kano or Con from Adam and what I posted is no representation of them in any way. Although you should all send Ckolivas a final BTC donation for his cgminer work and I guess Kano, although I'm not sure how their relationship works in this whole thing.
No one will need to work on ASIC so they deserve it for the GPU mining period. +1 for this useful post. +1 for ckolivas and his great software. -1 for Luke-JR killing CLC coin and also ( supposedly ) doing LTC TX spam testing.

I respectfully disagree. I was thrilled when I found that, after registering and not using my account here for eight or so months, I didn't have to get out of "newbie jail" (that wasn't a thing when I registered).
Going by the SKEWED mentality of the "lock user account" supporters in this thread, I would say you are going to scam somebody in the next month. You are not probably going to scam anyone. Don't lock any accounts. How about locking satoshi's account too ?

In fact, ASIC is the only thing that can prevent 51% attack. Why? Today there are banks, financial institutions, intelligence organizations that have super-computers, consisting of thousand and thousands of CPUs or GPUs. These grids are used to run financial analysis, mostly Monte-Carlo.
Imagine "Societe General" in France for example. They have a GPU array of 15,000. If for financial interests or certain other reasons, they decided to switch to BitCoin for a week. This grid alone can give them over 15TH in processing power... this will not be 51% attack, it will be 120% attack. This is just one bank, activating only one of its grids.
As long as the algorithm used in BitCoin can be effectively implemented in CPU or GPUs, network will always be under threat. Scrypt won't be good either, since many institutions have grids of several thousand CPUs.
The only thing that can stop it is the ASIC. Imagine tomorrow the processing power of the BitCoin network is 2,000TH. This is something super-computers cannot attack, simply because their combined processing power cannot reach even 10% of it, let alone 51% attack....
Regards, BF Labs Inc.
Glad to see you can't do math. Assuming the network is 10TH, if France adds 15TH, they won't be doing a 120% attack. They'll be doing a 60% attack. 15/(10+15) = .6 not to mention a bank PH is not equal a dbl sha PH... I'm actually curious to know what gpus are typically used in those sorts of gpu clusters. Most likely Nvidia ... which sucks for BTC mining but is the industry standard for GPU computations like weather and financial analysis ( Monte Carlo ).

So here we say "only admin has access to IP logs" BUT here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=64012.msg776457#msg776457Powercoiner == Dexter
Maged can clearly see through IP logs that they are the same person ? Maybe the rules changed since March ? Or maybe Maged is the only non-admin who can see IP logs ? Or maybe I am going crazy ? When I'm the one who does all the work to request a checkuser, theymos has been nice enough to not take my thunder by posting the response himself (I wouldn't mind if he did, since he's the one who has to look it up, but it does make it more clear who is handling the case). Most of the time, I have to wait several hours for that information, which is why it takes so long to appear. I am more than happy to train anyone in doing a scammer investigation, just contact me. To make things easier for me, have a specific case in mind before asking me to train you, since I don't want to train people who'll never use the information. Plus, practical on-the-job training is so much better, anyway. And don't get confused, it is a job. It's insane what goes on behind the scenes... Scammer catching scammers ... well I'll be damned I will contact Raize soonish ...

Seriously, why do BFL needs your BTC for 6?+ months in advance when they got money form the secret VC? I have a 50:50 chance to "regret" (not really) my decision but I cancelled my order for 2 SC's on time and never sent them any BTC. I invested some of my BTC and now I am just waiting to see, how this all plays out. If they really are going to use a lottery (random selection) to select first lucky shipments, it' makes even less sense to send the BTC right now. Did you check, are your coins still at the same address where you sent them?Just to test out my "theory" I entered another order today and I was given this address 14x69wLgdnwVArE8BhPm5DQ4aVGQwXkqeW for the transfer. And as I expected, this is not a new nor is it a empty account. Regenerated the order and I got: 1Ckct1YiUZNZyJT5xm2QEWjdrYn55hy6cj Brilliant! ... Interesting address one step away from 14x69wLgdnwVArE8BhPm5DQ4aVGQwXkqeW: http://blockchain.info/address/1JuZT3sBomuzcFjQvVTLdXM97U6wCvazJRIsn't that one of the BTCST addies? No way ! There must be some mistake here ! I always believed pirateat40 = BFL = gigavps but I am mad and have not taken my meds today

BTC is the best tool for Nigerian scammers like me.
Are you serious? I'm sorry, have you met bulanula? Sorta seen him around holding some guys 25btc, so I wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic. He is being sarcastic. He did the guy wrong in some respects but due to the lack of a tag that is in between scammer and maybe one for 'unethical', he got the full out scammer tag. He is still very pissed, and maybe rightly so in some way. He should still just send the guy his change back and move on with being a "highly moral, respected, super cool forum guy' imho. ;p But, he is definitly not in the caliber as these dudes pulling the multi-account, confidence scams...Exactly. I need to up my game it seems

Bully, old sport, I just have to put you out of your misery on this one, even though it would be a lot more fun to watch you try to figure it out. For weeks. Trust me, it is better I shoot you in the head once, than watch you shoot yourself in the foot a thousand times.
In North America most school districts provide school bus service to carry students to school. For those "special" students, a Short Bus (which is a smaller capacity bus) with mounting points for wheelchairs, restraints for when kids get violent, and heavy duty surface coverings to permit easy clean-up of the drool, vomit and other body excretions that often soil the vehicle, is used. To state it very clearly when I refer to a ShortBusCoin, I am making an allegory that the developers and users of said coin are mentally retarded, slow, challenged, cretins, simple, touched in the head, spastic, nutters, or whack jobs. It is unfortunate that you embraced the allegory, and are fighting to compare "bus sizes" with penis length, it seems to make you desperate to fit in with the Short Bus crowd (!) a position unenviable in terms of mental acuity or penis size. Using a "pump" won't help with these shortcomings, it's really more genetic who is more intelligent. As it is obvious what a real crypto-coin is all about, and quite obviously (to anybody with an IQ in double digits) MicroIntellectualPropertyTheftCash and/or ShortBusCoin will never fill that need. They are built wrong. Like tits on a bull- they are just of no damn use whatsoever, and they make you want to laugh at the stupid bull.
LOL worst part is I am not from the usa and I STILL know what short bus means . also +1 Well, excuse me for not being from the USA but I had no idea what the "short bus" thing is for. Here in the UK they are called SEN ( special educational needs ) people and the bus is the same size otherwise it would be called "discrimination" which is not allowed.

Will ruin the healthcare system in the US.
I am in the crappy UK and the NHS system is seriously messed up here.
It is true : you get what you pay for ! Crap doctors, huge waiting lists, can't do a blood test unless it is "needed" etc.
Healthcare managed by government = total POS; the government ruins everything mate !
I feel sorry for you in the US now you are forced to pay into the public healthcare scam ...
If you really think the NHS is crappy, go private! Its cheaper to go private here than it is in the US. You really don't understand ... NHS is state monopoly on healthcare. State monopoly on ANYTHING is crappy, including healthcare or money creation. If NHS did not exist then private healthcare + free market would be much better, cheaper, more effective than crappy taxpayer NHS forced system that is pure FAIL for patients. Because NHS exists then private can't compete and has to demand 500 GBP for a blood test just to stay in business. Do you even live in England? The NHS is certainly not a monopoly. As you say, because the NHS exists and its so efficient, private medicine can't compete for Joe Bloggs' hernia operation. But if you have money/insurance and have special requirement, most every city has private hospitals who do a fine trade. I do live in the UK London and I have horrible story with the NHS in my whole family. Not just me. It really sucks compared to other EU countries I have lived in.

Nonsense, the utter failure to meet a single release date, the silence of the ignorant lambs, and the reality that it is just another ShortBusCoin scam based on stolen intellectual property is just a flesh wound.
I'm sure this phoenix will get crapped out one day to much acclaim and sock-puppet adoration, only to tank just as massively as every other attempt from the ShortBus of Fools.
Why do you keep calling it short bus I don't understand ... His point exactly (including you on the shortbus) What is the meaning of this "shortbus" is what I don't understand. Me on the short bus ? I am confused Do I want to be on the "long" bus ? Is this about epeen or something ?

If it works fine without then why not include it from the beginning If anything is missing then you can bet that something is not right with the card when you want to game on it or use it as display card !
