Does anyone know when there will be a transition to a pure POS algorithm? And how many coins will be in circulation maximum, and when it happens? I do not see any news from Vitalik, and these are very interesting questions.
I don't think you looked very hard. This is literally all over the internet right now. Go subscribe to "Week in Ethereum". https://weekinethereum.substack.com/p/june-14-2018-week-in-ethereum

^oh great gembitz is here too Ok just here to share a thought.... DCR Decred imo meets all of coinbase criteria for listing a coin and wiess also recently gave it a high and well deserved rating. I would expect DCR listed on coinbase. you have to ask the Israelis first then wait for airdrop lol ===> https://twitter.com/bitcoinilback under your bridge now, little troll.

If a crypto currency network is sufficiently decentralised and buyers no longer expect a third party to manage it, a coin is no longer security.
Well hello SEC SEC give us a good news today about our favorite coin ETH, I hope this current price recovery will continue until we hit the price at least $1,000. If we can end this month with a good price movement, maybe we will start seeing the bull in the 2nd half. What does SEC actually mean Ethereum is not a security? The announce exactly when we're at bottom, It's seems like they spread FUD to help the bears. I was thinking that this might be a good time to get your hands on some ETH. We need to secure our position. FUD? That's the exact opposite of fud. Not being classified as a security is good news. ... I imagine Eth will drop a bit more. At least, I'm not buying any more quite yet.

pls what is the total supply of ethereum?
ethereum total supply is increasing because mining reward miner get reward with each block they mined and confirm the transactions now the circualtion supply is more then 100 milllion for now and its total supply is unlimited but only miners can get few in a year Interestingly though Vitalik brought up the discussion about implementing a cap to the total supply of ETH. If I remember correctly it was on april 1st? By the way, if he want to implement a cap (but this question is for all PoS coins) how it will work with PoS ? It's the same thing as PoW where miners get only transaction fees after all coins are mined? Yes, exactly.

ETH needs a price of its own not get tied with the price of BTC.
If ETHf price isn't tied to BTC then it'll never rise. What ticker is "ETHf"? ETHf - ETH fork/foundation ETHc - ETH classic So...it's not a ticker. Just something made up

Congratulation it is increasing even price is under pressure but on other side something is still rising. Is that big news to share with community I didn't understand the importance of this news. Lol it just means 100 million have now been mined. This isn't really "news". More like fun fact.

What's going on with the coin? The project is alive? I've been watching the coin for a while, I liked the project. This is the problem with all coins on yescrypt - not enough buyers.
problem is, all cpu minable only coins also get run over by botnets. mining is not feasible for a person with 2-3 cpus vs botnet owners. This isn't true for WAVI at all so far. With my 3 CPUs I've created enough WAVI in 2 months to make 2 master nodes, and am well on my way to a 3rd. That says nothing about the fact that cpu coins tend to be mined heavily by botnets. This coin is young and the difficulty is still low. Think about 2 years in the future: those 3 cpus you have will still be proportionately small compared to even a small botnet's hashrate. It's probably the number 1 problem cpu-only coins face.

Do anyone think its possible they have or soon will have asics for Decred since the algos are similar?
There are several companies developing DCR asics. A couple (or just one?) have already launched batch 1 actually. It's why we're seeing the difficulty booming day after day. In one month's time, we'll look back to today's difficulty and cry

...Could you give me a % range, thank you after ~a month (average; might be 3 (max), or a day or 2) you'll get ~1 decred per ticket -pls note also that the possibility exists for zero return Good point...but 0 possibility for loss; remember, you always get back the original ticket cost regardless of if your ticket expired or was missed. Anyway, scroll down to ticket section. There's an estimated ROI that is based on current ticket price and current PoS reward. It's typically ~1.3-1.5% ROI. https://dcrstats.com/

What are the stake reward %
Thanks
It changes depending on the price you paid for the ticket. https://dcrstats.com/

Most news I get from DCR is from friends, I wish there was something official about whats going on. Going into GitHub and btctalk to get info it's not friendly

Ethereum improves the performance of the chain by slice technology. ETH may cause many side chains to disappear.
You mean sharding. Sharding effectively makes many side chains, isolated from others, such that validators for some shards don't have to validate transactions from other shards. I don't see what you mean by "cause many side chains to disappear".

Ethereum price is stable around $600 and there is no bull run in ethereum price yet. On the other side EOS launched the mainnet and EOS price getting upward after the launch of mainnet. Now start the competition between two top cryptocurrencies Ethereum and EOS but in my opinion EOS can't overtake ethereum. Projects such as the EOS are the cause of the fall in the price of the ethereum, the developers of the EOS sell the received to the ICO ethereum tokens and thereby dump its price I doubt it. EOS had a year-long ICO. There's no reason to believe they're just now selling Eth from the ICO.

Ethereum's rebound is pretty good. Today's speech by V has made a good impact. ETH has this small prodigy in the bright future
What speech? Link?

Not sure what happened, but I came back from vacation and noticed I had stopped staking. My wallet shows a balance of 65.2 but the block explorer shows my real balance (and the balance I was staking with). https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/address.dws?943uQprgXxp7X316BrqGVvNNqhdrKiTD9r.htmI already dumped my entire blockchain and re-downloaded it through the wallet. Any ideas why my balance is incorrect and I can't stake? You can try these too: checkwallet repairwallet rescan
Thanks! fixed it for me. I'm happily staking again

Honestly, I hate ASICs, which might lead to dominant pools and higher potential replay attacks. Non-issue for Decred. Pos portion of the hybrid PoW-PoS consensus model Decred uses ensures only good and valid blocks are added to the chain.
