181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Twitter can make impact in the BTC world? on: October 04, 2021, 03:02:12 PM
Quote
"Social media platform Twitter has finally rolled out its Bitcoin tipping feature that will allow users to tip their dearest content creators using the leading cryptocurrency by market cap. "
Source: https://mycryptoparadise.com/twitters-bitcoin-tipping-feature-is-finally-here/

Consider the following scenario: there are 350 million monthly active Twitter users, and they can all send BTC to one another.
I still feel pretty overwhelmed by this news despite having had a whole day to absorb it.

The legacy-system-free monetary exchange now allows millions upon millions of people to do business.

What impact are you predicting for us in the future?
i believe in the future twitter can put a big contribution in the market because of their idea to have tip features for every user who will create a good content especially when it comes crypto currency, as the matter of fact twitter becomes the main venue when it comes promoting/advertising a crypto project since before when the market is gradually gaining attention in the internet , so in the future for sure it will improve more and it will become the main source of every enthusiast to earn crypto..
Social media are really helpful in the community and in the market so what if a big company such as Twitter supporting cryptocurrency? Then it will be a huge contribution to the community since Twitter is very popular. Twitter is a platform that some projects are targeting for marketing, the main platform where people promote and find some information about upcoming projects. I agree that it will really gain attention to some people in the twitter community and become interested too in crypto.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some millionaires hate Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2021, 02:38:16 PM
Simple answer. They're privileged and think that it's not needed because, in the current economy, they have the ability to control the market, they're the whales of the current economic system. With cryptocurrency, having a decentralized market, we can freely do what we want and earn money by investing and that's a great opportunity for us and rich people hate it because the investments here in crypto are just small compared to their investments in businesses. They just want to be in control and want to take advantage of all of things while being rich, that's how they think right now. Look what happened to Elon, a rich person who entered crypto just because he wants to gain more and now that he gained a lot and more popularity, he created a fud in bitcoin.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin mining isn’t a waste of energy? on: October 04, 2021, 02:22:31 PM
In countries where there is a shortage of fuel oil and a shortage of electricity, bitcoin mining is considered a waste of energy. However, our country has a large supply of mineral oil and electricity, In our country, bitcoin mining will not be considered as a waste of energy

In every country there are different areas in respect to the amount of electricity produced. In one part can be not enough of it, while in other part can be more than needed. And miners normally tend to build their mining farms in places like the latter. They use the electricity which would be wasted otherwise. Although electric energy can be stored, it's often not cost-effective, and it's much better for the power plants owners, and for the environment, if this excess energy is used one way or another.
I guess miners are few in those countries that have a minimal source of electricity, of course, it's obvious that the electricity is very expensive in that country, basic supply and demand concept. So basically, miners only exist in those countries that have a lot of electricity sources and besides, it's not really profitable in mining and it's a waste of money if the electricity is expensive since mining has high power consumption.
184  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is There Problem In the Crypto-currency? on: October 04, 2021, 01:43:40 PM
The crypto industry is still young, and we just need to give it some more time to figure things out. Furthermore, I am confident that soon we will be able to get solution and jump pretty seamlessly, almost completely avoiding FUDs and outrageous fees. Because of high fees, Crypto adoption is lessening, which is detrimental to the industry. Crypto-currencies' volatile nature will always pose problems and co-exist with them.
Yeah, FUD is being used every year to make the cryptocurrency market dump but everyone is now aware of the FUD and how it affects the crypto market. We always need information about what's happening and why it's happening so we won't panic sell because that's always the issue. We always rely on the big firms and that's one of the cause why many people dumping even it's not really worth dumping the token and face regret at the end. High fees aren't really problem, there are bunch of networks you can be used to have small transaction fees, you just need to explore the whole cryptocurrency and research how to use it.
185  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 04, 2021, 12:51:17 PM
I think pandemic doesn't help the market but it really helps the people to believe in cryptocurrency in the terms of getting extra cash by investing.

People really need money and that's the reason why most of them urge to invest in the crypto market and that's a good thing especially right now here in my country, most of us are playing NFT games.

Cryptocurrency is more introduced here because of those NFT games and it's because of the pandemic, people want extra money through NFT games.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: New regulation in South Korea has forced several exchanges to close on: October 04, 2021, 12:33:10 PM
Exchange platforms and local wallets will be the number one target of the government in case they want to put a tax on cryptocurrency because it's their one and only choice. Luckily, at this moment, our country doesn't have any taxes on crypto and even in local wallets but I'm sure that they're working on it right now. But still, cryptocurrency is allowed in the country, let's say that it's still a good news rather than implementing a crypto ban in the whole country that puts their investments in danger.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: China Is making Fuds Since 2017, But BTC Always Gone higher on: October 04, 2021, 10:11:11 AM
China is a big country in this world. This influence on crypto is actually very high, They always spread FUD every time the price is coming to rise up in order to make any drop. But we don't know the right reasons behind it, whether they really want the price drop because they dislike crypto, or they want to control Bitcoin, make the price dip, and then get many more Bitcoin to prepare before the next pump.

We also actually realize that with or without those FUDs, Bitcoin price will always skyrocket moreover if the cycle of halving has been finished and the price will commonly create new ATH. But on the other side, we may not underestimate what China can do, although it may only influence for a certain short time, it exactly will give a big impact at that time.

One of the things why I like the China FUD is because the price of BTC will go up, it always is, when there was the problem with the miners leaving China, the price took a nice bullish turn, when China does a movement against BTC, other countries take advantage of it. It is strange that a country like China that is so big does not accept BTC technology, nor its alternative economy, sometimes I think that the big whales of BTC reside in China, because when looking at the market from the speculative point of view of the market, when They start their FUD, the market goes down, but from one moment to another the market has a big bullish rally.

It could be that investors are tired of all their bad claims against Bitcoin.
There will always be a point where they need to go against the flow to make profits out of it and it works.
Buy the news, sell the asset. Sure there will be a bear that will happen whenever they do such things as FUD but in the long run, it will become a bull when traders do their job to buy back after the news starts to calm down.
It's like manipulating the market using the trend which is a wise decision if ever it will be successful.
People are aware right now that China is just manipulating the crypto market. People already learned something after the Elon Musk market manipulation that happened recently, everyone knew already what's happening so people are still holding and having faith in BTC. Whales are just good at controlling the market but if most of the investors are aware and good at going with the flow, then everyone can make money. That's why I'm not afraid when everytime a China fud spreading all over the community because I knew from the beginning that they're taking advantage of it since most of the investors are also Chinese.
188  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: October 04, 2021, 08:52:19 AM
Well before you say "COVID 19 is not the first virus pandemic" or  "I don' think that these pandemics have contributed anything to medical science." Maybe you could weigh in the factors that we have never had such a gigantic outbreak before, in history and the corona virus is called the novel corona virus for a reason. Its new. Its never been observed in humans before. So I mean, both those things kind of contradict what you claim.

We had such "gigantic outbreaks" several times in the past. Ebola pandemics have occurred in Africa multiple times in the past two decades (although the death toll was in tens of thousands, and not in millions). One century ago, it was the Spanish Flu pandemic which killed millions of people. Before that it was the small pox pandemic and the black death. But these pandemics didn't contributed much to medical science. If that was the case, then the current COVID 19 pandemic must have never occurred.
Well we can't actually tell that because viruses have different variants and the medical equipment or vaccines that are being developed each day aren't the solution for the new variants. I believe that the medical science are improving daily, it's just that viruses are very strong and many of them is really hard to create a solution. If there's a solution then another variant come or new viruses will pop up out of nowhere so it's non-stop and we thought that it doesn't advanced our medical science but it is really improving right now.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron network VS Binance Smart Chain on: October 03, 2021, 06:21:08 PM
Technically, both are excellent, with low transaction fees and the fastest transaction times, but BSC is my preferred blockchain. The reason for this is that most successful projects, particularly NFT games, are currently in BSC. I haven't done any transactions in Tron, but I believe it's evident that it's less popular than BSC, which is why few projects just use the Tron Network, thus BSC is the superiority if you ask me because it's the one I use.

I don't have a problem with other blockchains because I'm happy with the one I'm using right now.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are safer with top altcoins on: October 03, 2021, 06:10:29 PM
I am not agree with you, newbie are safer with bitcoin. Altcoin is too volatile and newbies also dont know whats the real purpose for altcoin. If you are relatively new to this industry dont put your money in Alt because you will be burned fast. Respect your hard earned money and invest wisely.
Don't be one sided in this topic. Yeah no doubt that every newbie, not only them but even the old ones, are safe with bitcoin. However, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will surely fail once you put your money in the alts. I knew some friends which are newbies before that are more interested with alts instead of btc. They are risk takers indeed, they like the more volatile nature of such coins. Fortunately, I didn't hear that one of them git bankrupt so far. See? You can succeed! Maybe it's just a right combination of mentorship, good coin and right financial management.

The point of all of this is that these things where you do decision making stuff and then make all these research and research all boils down to the fact that it is still the newbies choice what coin he will be putting his money into. We do not know his intentions but we do know his investment might be safe if it is on the top alts where he will be putting his money into. There are many many investors who trusted Binance when they bought at a very low price. They were able to make their money grow because of that.
Actually, even if we spent a lot of time researching and selecting a coin to invest in, it takes a long time to grow and you start comparing and having doubts even if it's a top altcoin.

The problem with newbies is that they are overly focused on profit, which leads to many people making wrong decisions in the pursuit of profit.

So, not just training them to invest in proven and top cryptocurrencies, but also teaching them to relax and have patience in crypto, is essential.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: October 03, 2021, 05:50:26 PM
For me NFT games are gambling only if we put our own money in these games because we do not have any assurance that this money will grow since the thing we can earn through this game is also a crypto which price fluctuates. Yes there are already lot of people who gambled in NFTs and already get back their investment plus lots of profit.
But in my case since I am earning by being a scholar who does not used any of my own money to buy NFTs, I think it is not gambling. For me it is kinda blessing.
There are components of NFT games that are gambling; theoretically, all investments are gambling, but NFT game projects are transparent. What I mean is that if you believe that the game is feasible, that there is progress, and that there is a beta version of it, then the NFT game is highly worthwhile; there is no need to gamble because there is already an assurance that it will yield profit soon. Because, afaik, developing a game is quite difficult, so if they've already made progress on it, it means they're serious about the concept and want to make it a reality as soon as possible.

Roo, do a kickflip! (STOP MOTION)

Materials used:
Polymer Clay
Cotton Cloth
Denim cloth
Aluminum wire for armature
Photoshop
After Effects

I have been a fan of skateboarding for a while now. Skateboarding, for some, gives a different feeling of fun and competitiveness. It can be
either recreational or a competitive sport. Just like any other recreational sport, I can say Roobet can bring the same feeling. It is FUN and can sometimes be competitive.
Both give out our competitive spirits while having fun.

This is a simple stop motion that I made using a sculpted polymer clay of roo with a hand-made cloth that I stitched.

193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't miss this opportunity to buy and hold BNB on: October 03, 2021, 04:33:23 PM
as we know that Binance has two projects, that is exchange and smart contract, then the total supply of BNB is around 160m and will burn every quarter, so the total supply of BNB will be less every quarter and with the current price of BNB ($410), then I think the price of BNB is still very low, because with a small total supply of BNB and BNB is one of the most popular projects (top 5 on coinmarketcap), then I think the price of BNB can still increase very high and reach at least $1500 (I think it's a decent price for BNB), therefore now is still the right time to invest in BNB and hold it for the long term, because at this time you can still buy BNB at a low price.
I still hold BNB for the future. Binance's chances of hitting the triple digits are huge. It's only a matter of time. Binance also does regular burning for its BNB coins. I hope for a big bullish trend for bitcoin to come soon. BNB prices are pretty stagnant at the moment and I expect something big to happen in the future. Bitcoin turned bullish again. Big news is coming.
I agree with you that BNB has a bright future and has the ability to reach three digits in the near future; all you have to do is wait and see. We are all familiar with the usecase of BNB, which is utilized on a regular basis in different tokens, and ETH has a similar usecase. Take note that ETH is pumping, thus there's a chance that BNB will soon follow suit, much as ETH did in previous years. Just keep going, large increases don't happen in a few hours, it takes a long time, and we knew it would be worth it shortly.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Dogecoin Is Crypto's Most Dangerous Joke on: October 03, 2021, 03:50:30 PM

Have read it and agree with what it says because it is backed by facts, some dangerous signs are on it, Dogecoin is an example of a coin used by whales to do a pump and dump scheme, majority of investors are in FOMO, there are times FOMO is but if you don't know when to exit you are in trouble of being a bag holder or cutting your losses, it's still the meme coin that we all loved but I don't see Dogecoin lording it over coins with
with real potential in the market and with contributions to the development of the community.

Yeah, just need to be cautious with Doge, but if you have enough experience and the balls to ride and invest, you can get out take profits easily. The problem is that there are noobs who agree with Elon Musk and blindly trust his words. And it really did push the price of Doge, nevertheless we all know that the price won't go on a parabolic rise. And Doge will be Doge (still a meme coin), which ever angle you look at it.
Agreed, there are many people who can't make their own decisions and rely on popular people like Elon Musk, and they're easily influenced by people like him, which is why market manipulation occurred recently. To be successful in investing, you must understand the use cases of each coin in which you have invested to ensure that you are investing in a viable project such as ADA and others. Doge is merely a meme coin with no practical application other than for retailers who accept it as a payment method. Only newcomers will fall for Elon Musk's remarks; I don't fully trust him; I only want to join the hype if there is one.
195  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Plant vs Undead Another Alternative na pagkakakitaan. on: October 03, 2021, 01:16:53 PM

Kaya lang naman sila nababan kasi related yung BEP20 address and yung both accounts is under ng same IP so basically parang transfer of NFT ang ginagawa kasi nga walang gifting method sa PVU. So wala kayong dapat ikabahala, bumili lang kayo ng NFT plant, walang mangyayaring masama as long as hindi kayo related.

196  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Earnings from Axie Infinity and other NFT games are subject to tax, DOF said. on: October 03, 2021, 01:09:30 PM
It doesn't make sense naman talaga from the beginning palang kasi nga paano nga malalaman kung sino ang mga axie players and it's a NFT game, parang mining na din using your OWN hardware or asset pero ito nilalaro mo para maka earn which is called P2E so di ko talaga magets ang point nila.
197  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie infinity popularity on: October 03, 2021, 11:44:22 AM
<snip>
Tama, magandang time to para makapamili ng team since napakamura ngayon sa market.

And besides, ang daming NFT plant na 10 pvu pero those are light plants and di recommended since sila ata yung mababa sa damage.

MIST is a mmorpg game, yah quest and many more talaga siya and soon may PVP din yan panigurado pero sobrang mahal ng NFT characters ngayon. Naginvest nalang ako at malaking pera din 'yon if ever nagpump at nirelease na yung mismong game.

By the way mga master, ito ba yung MIST na tinutukoy ninyo? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mist/markets/
So masasabi kong, those progress are a sign na may potential 'to at hindi lang basta basta pero DYOR pa rin tayo. Read mo 'tong reply ko sa isang thread about MIST.

you this troll where have you been all this while, we've missed you xd.
I'm surprised u are not referring to the quin as thequack as ive seen by trolls previously.
Perhaps you're becoming a better person. Im happy for you buddy
freebitcoin will down as well as freedogecoin, because a new site has appeared - dplay. Another grandiose scam is spinning in TheQuin's mind. (The Big One!)
Remember what happened to the freedogecoin site? Then, when the site was closed, almost all users lost money. Those users who wrote on the forum and in PM to him were simply ignored. He replied this: "That's because I don't know the answer yet." (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg58035448#msg58035448)
He didn't want to return the stolen deposits of users, each time referring to the fact that they couldn't establish a blockchain wallet in any way. This is not surprising, because dogecoin has grown in price x350.
I'm not sure where you got this information, you can't even name the source, and you're accusing a platform that has been there for how many years. Freebitcoin is a very old site that already offers a lot of awards and rewards to its members. Many gamblers have previously benefited from the site, so I'm not sure why it would be changed into a big scam since the developers already have a passive income. It took a long time to attain these accomplishments, so it's clear that he won't let them go to waste.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: September 27, 2021, 04:53:13 PM
Isn't this all for the sake of advertising, IMO, if the streamers fake those bets and have infinite funds to spend on the site due to xdeal, it's no longer our problem. Our faith, as gamblers, is still in our hands, and gambling platforms can never guarantee victories because it will always depend on our luck and ability to bet. Similar things happen in other advertising; some fake it for the sake of formality to make things look good, but don't expect it to be the same as yours because it will always depend on you. I still prioritize the gambling platform's benefits rather than those fake bets on videos and stream 'cause all I know about it is for only attracting gamblers that their platform is really good visually, but the wins and loses will always on your hands.
The fact remains and I agree with you, your own destination depends on how you play the game. Streamers may affect you with the belief that you may duplicate their luck, but it's your money that you need to be held responsible with. Paid streamers are there to promote, and if they are doing those fake bets, it's gamblers' responsibilities to balance everything.

Both wins and losses are always depending on how you play, and how you managed your activities, desiring to earn like how most streamers does is not bad, but make sure you understand all the possible risks that may happen to your bankroll.
Yeah, so we don't have to always complain because the advertisement differs from the real thing. Of course, advertisements exist to lure people to their gambling site, and your chances of winning or losing will now be determined by how you play and how much you wager. This is a fact that some people can accept, and I truly believe that individuals are simply greedy and desired a quick profit from a gambling platform with a high chance of winning. This isn't the case here; gambling will be determined by your luck and RNG level. Roll Eyes
