321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hoping to see a bitcointalk token sooner on: August 29, 2021, 11:08:52 PM
Having a bitcointalk token is pointless because if you want to pay something, you'll use the commonly used crypto. The market will achieve it at the start because all of the required cap for the market cap has already been completed. I really like the idea of having a token, and I could profit from it if the admin and mod created it, but as previously stated, the usecase is very important in crypto to make it more valuable.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many project SCAMS - PLEASE CAREFUL on: August 29, 2021, 10:52:29 PM
It simply demonstrates that there are a large number of cryptocurrency users, which is why the number of failed and scanned projects is increasing at an alarming rate. Imagine there are a lot of scam projects being created every day, and the majority of them are executed so well at first that you don't recognize it as a scam project.

I knew a lot of coins that failed because the devs rug pulled it, and you can't really tell which is which without checking the mirror and your modern car. That's why always DYOR or do your own research, if you lose then it's your fault for not trusting yourself.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kid already making $32k monthly through ethtereum on: August 29, 2021, 07:11:15 PM
I was amazed by this news of 14 years old and his 9 years sister making a living through ethereum mining which generates them $32k monthly income, this is so incredible and highly commended, the kids use their old gaming computer to start up this amazing business and there are already expanding. I guess our kids are already taking advantage of the gains of blockchain and are already doing amazing stuff through the blockchain.

Wow, at that age, you'd think they'd be playing video games, but it's cool because they're already securing their future with cryptocurrency. But I'm curious where the boy got his initials to build those mining rigs; I'm guessing his father supported him financially because it's really impossible for a kid to make that kind of money.

If his father truly supported him, they are fortunate in that knowledge and everything about crypto was provided to them, which will be useful when they grow up.

324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my first Bitcoin and am happy on: August 29, 2021, 06:33:03 PM
As long as you've profited from your investments and used them properly, I'm sure you'll be pleased because it's worthwhile. The happiness you'll feel is pretty much inevitable because you've been holding it for so long, and now that you've gained, it's time to enjoy it.

Uh oh, looks like someone plagiarized off Reddit again!

Nice found.

But we don't know if both are the same person, but the content is still plagiarized; a user should be responsible for creating content on different platforms.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel uncomfortable if I don’t buy on: August 29, 2021, 02:58:28 PM
Yes, it's a fomo, or 'fear of missing out,' and being fomo'd isn't always a good thing because it means you're making bad decisions in your life and could end up losing a lot of money.
I sometimes feel as if I really need to enter the market without thinking about other things because you know it's a chance you shouldn't pass up because it can really give you gains after many months.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google bans 8 crypto apps on: August 29, 2021, 02:41:30 PM
I'm wondering why Google still doesn't ban Pi Network if the Pi network claims to be a legit mobile phone mining app because from what I remembered about Google play store, mining apps aren't allowed on the store. Even though there have been numerous debunkings of this application, many people are still duped by it. People are stubborn and prideful, and they refuse to accept the fact that it isn't a legitimate mining app if we use the fundamentals of crypto mining as a basis to check this Pi Network.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: August 29, 2021, 02:27:29 PM
I'm not going to buy a Tesla. But yes, I'll wait for 100K and buy myself something more interesting. Like a Lambo or a Bugatti.

I think no one can buy Tesla, its too expensive. Yeah you can buy tesla shares but ever since Elon Musk manipulated the market both for bitcoin and dogecoin, i have no interest in his products.
If I disregard the time he manipulated the market, I think buying a Tesla for the environment is a great idea, but it's very expensive, and there are many ways to help the environment without spending a lot of money on that car, and besides, the maintenance is high, parts aren't cheap, and there isn't any surplus on it like there is on the existing cars. If it's $100k, I'd rather hodl it than spend it because the value of BTC always appreciate, it's not worth it to spend until reaching its full potential.
328  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: SHIBA INU Coin (The DOGECOIN KILLER) on: August 28, 2021, 08:04:36 PM
Yan ang mga episode ng mga user na nakakainggit kung titignan mo kasi he invested at the right moment at the right time. Yung mga susubuk sa Shiba Inu, always be careful of your investments. Always invest what you can afford to lose.
329  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: DAHILAN KAYA NASISIRA ANG BTC/CRYPTO DAHIL DITO >𝗫𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗢𝗜𝗡 by Xian Daza on: August 28, 2021, 07:48:51 PM
330  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity requirements before being a Grantee / Scholar? on: August 28, 2021, 07:33:44 PM

331  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: August 28, 2021, 07:12:55 PM
I couldn't put the full title in the subject line due to character restrictions, but here is the full question:
If bitcoin was fully adopted into everyday life, why would it ever be used for day-to-day transactions if the general consensus was that the price would always appreciate?
The market isn't always up, and when it's consistent on a specific value, using it as an asset for the transaction won't affect you much if and only if you've bought back at the same price. The OP makes sense, I understand the point, and I'm wondering why I'm still using my BTC for other things if it'll just go up. Taking profit, on the other hand, should explain why others continue to sell and use bitcoin for transactions, we have different approach on crypto, can't blame them if they're happy and satisfied on what they're doing.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Addict on: August 27, 2021, 04:53:09 PM
I have a question for you: what happens if the market turns red? Are you still addicted or obsessed, with Bitcoin? I doubt this will last long because you're only benefiting from the current situation, which is why you're obsessed with it. I can understand if you're addicted to Bitcoin's technicalities, but you didn't mention anything about it, but again I don't see any stress on your part because the market is still doing well.
333  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Earnings from Axie Infinity and other NFT games are subject to tax, DOF said. on: August 23, 2021, 11:58:35 PM

Napaka-komplikado ng usaping ito dahil and mundo ng cryptocurrency itself is a complicated thing.

334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know is time to walk? on: August 23, 2021, 06:26:17 PM
For me it's very hard to decide when to take a break from gambling. Usually after a big win or a big loss I take a quick break to see if it makes sense to keep gambling or better call it a night.
You have answered for yourself when is the right time to stop or take a break from gambling and that is after big wins and losing streaks. If you are too eager to win more after winning, you may end up throwing away all your winning simply because you are obsessed with bigger wins. Likewise when you really want to win a bet after a losing streak, you forget that you have neglected the risk of further losses if you want to continue. Quitting is an option, and coming back tomorrow or after.
Same with me, if I've already experienced a lot of loss and am stressed about it, it's time to go because I know it'll all go bad if I keep going. It's the same in trading; learn to stop investing at inopportune times, take a break, and clear your head so you can make the best judgment possible on when to enter and exit. Learn to make excellent decisions while gambling in order to get beneficial outcomes, such as not losing a lot of money after a gambling activity. It's preferable to lose a game but not lose a lot of money than to lose a game and lose a lot of money due to gambling.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 23, 2021, 05:59:06 PM

I just think Twitch doesn't know or doesn't have how to solve this issue, so in order please their users, they simply introduced an useless restriction that isn't going to stop streamers to promote gambling in the platform, but that at same time will be useful to show their public they care for it are trying to solve this.

They have done the right thing they want a safe and clean environment and they want to be different from other streaming sites and Youtube is one of them, I have seen a lot of porn sites and gambling stream channels on Youtube, and they want parents to put them on their list as one of the safe streaming sites online, putting warning and restrictions will not work, because can easily enter by clinking agree on the warning.
Twitch is a very reputable streaming platform, most of the popular streamers that we watch are streaming there so it's the right decision that having restrictions on gambling links was implemented. Yes, gaming sites will continue to promote themselves, but I see a positive side to it, namely a healthy and user-friendly platform. Please keep in mind that some of the viewers are children or rookie gamblers who may lose their life if they are exposed to or experience gambling without first learning about the consequences.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 23, 2021, 05:14:11 PM
Nobody gave Ugas a chance against Pacquiao and he won the fight with ease. Plant deserves the benefit of the doubt. I doubt he will win but he isn't so far out of his league that he can't pull off an upset if Canelo has an off night or if he makes adjustments in his style that Canelo isn't prepared for.
Yes, anything may happen as long as the athletes aren't out of the league, because those boxers could exhibit extraordinary skills that they haven't shown in previous battles.

They're fighting for a cause, so it's a matchup, and each boxer is the greatest in the league.
I'm sure Plant will come up with a way to improve his abilities in order to battle Canelo.
337  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: August 23, 2021, 03:49:02 PM
i gave been a Member of his signature campaign for more than 2 years and really frustration mostly comes because of super delayed payments and now bringing it more lower payment? lightlord seems to be really facing  trouble in any sense  .
Lowering the payments are understandable on his side because of continuous increase of bitcoin's price. Im also a previous participant of both bitvest and 777coin for long period as well but there are times you'll get tired of waiting. On the other side his gambling sites established a good reputation here but yes I think he should be more active in answering questions and resolving issues (or atleast his team) since its his business and gamblers are big part of it.
Yes, I'm a previous participant, and I believe it's appropriate for them to reduce the BTC payments because the market is changing, and we have the option to opt-out of the campaign if the payments aren't to our satisfaction. There are no guidelines for signature payments; the campaign manager is the one who sets the regulations and, of course, makes the payment decisions. In terms of the issues, I agree that adequate service will be provided to those users and participants in order to establish a positive reputation.

There is some good news here because our national team is competing in this event which is BREN eSports, therefore I'm looking forward to this match and believe they will put up a good fight if they are made to play with SEN. 340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why reputable gambling sites closedown after some years of success. on: August 23, 2021, 01:53:52 PM
What are you worrying about? They are closing down for goods, not exit scam so I do not think anyone should be worrying about it. You should be worrying more about scam sites that still operating for years but I think you are not worrying about it as long as you can earn some money from the scam site. Am I right?
Agree to it; it's an indication that the platform's developers or owners are already rich and don't need to spend any more time developing and updating the platform. There are a variety of factors to examine, such as whether they've changed careers or discovered something more exciting than operating a gambling platform. As long as they don't scam people, I think it's fine; it's their decision, and we all know that we don't always have to work our entire lives; sometimes it's preferable to be content with what we have and live a peaceful life.
