101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking Profits on: October 25, 2021, 08:42:23 AM
Hello, what is the best way to take profits? I'm confused if I should take my seed out and leave my profits to climb, or if I should take profits out every time the price climbs 25% to 50%? Which way is more profitable, or does it even matter?

If I leave my profits in the trade would I be making more money then if I were to take profits out at every 50% price gain?

Actually, it all depends on what you desire. If you believe that 25-50 percent is sufficient, I believe then is the moment to profit. However, some traders examine the graph and use technical analysis to establish the graph's ceiling and flooring so they may know when to take profit. But, once again, it is always your option when you are comfortable with the profits; if you feel compelled to hold more, do so without regret no matter what happens.
102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learn from others experience on: October 25, 2021, 08:17:17 AM
there are many members in this forum and surely there is a lot of experience here too. It is true that we can learn from the experiences of others. a failure should not continue to be lamented but we must get up and learn from that failure. beside that, we can deepen our knowledge in this forum.
The best thing a good forum user should do is to observe the system of the community at first, secondly looking at errors or mistakes of someone will elevate or contribute for positive impact of another, anyone that says that we don't learn through experience or someone mistakes that means the person is not ready to learn from my perspective or observation, actually everybody is intending to embrace a good thing not a bad way of life, we are meant to emulate a positive things.
I believe that reading the unofficial rules will help people understand what is good and wrong on the community, and that mistakes like posting absurd statements are already frequent and should be avoided. They should approach the forum with respect, where people are truly open to talks and every word you make adds value to the discussion. Mistakes can't be avoided, but you can ensure that you won't do the same mistake twice and that the bare minimum acts are carried out. Let's strive for betterment.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Steam bans blockchain games on: October 25, 2021, 07:53:37 AM
Steam has always avoided games that involve in-game transactions between players. and I think banning blockchain games or financial games on the steam platform is a good thing because if it was too easy nft gaming would get a good platform like steam . and I'm afraid that if there are nft games that end up being a scam or fail, it will affect Steam as well.
Steam would simply be filled with various requests to publish nft games at that point imo, which is not what they want. They want quality games in their platform so as to help players be able to buy and enjoy games that they actually want. Still, I largely believe that it's mostly due to nft games being still somewhere in between when being judged as a game? Maybe if nft games were to continue developing, who knows, we may actually see them in there at some point.
I agree with what you've mentioned; Steam is a reputable gaming platform, and we all know that there's a rapid growth in NFT games, and of course, there's money involved, which could threaten the system and its conditions. I mean, reviews should be based on how amazing the game is, not how good the P2E is, and I understand why Steam would want to prevent this. They adamantly desire clean and balanced reviews for the game. Of course, this is just the start, and Steam may change it quickly after it has been evaluated, or have different protocols for P2E games.

For now, Epic Games is the platform where NFT games can be published.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon musk now the richest man in earth on: October 25, 2021, 07:26:32 AM
Don't know how long this title will continue to last on Elon Musk as the richest man, but what I do know is that nothing lasts forever in this world and what is certain is that over time there will be replacements that have occurred before in the future.

In this current era, richest man will be so much dynamic because but those are on the top of richest men, must be the CEO or top leader from tech company.
If crypto continue to grow big, i think elon will becoming the richest for a long time because as we know he talks a lot about cryptocurrency compared to others, so i assumed he holds a lot of crypto in his bag.
Well, he talks a lot about cryptocurrency, but I'm quite sure he's just using it to solidify his position as the world's richest man. Cryptocurrency is a new meta, and everyone is trying to figure out how to approach it because there are so many benefits to be had. Even those of us who were initially intrigued by bitcoin are now attempting to figure out how it all works. Cryptocurrency has already changed a lot of people's lives, and many people believe in its potential. As a wealthy and, of course, clever man, Elon Musk understands the potential of cryptocurrency, which is why he's here trying to make money from it.
105  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: October 24, 2021, 07:08:00 PM
Let’s wait for the update, medyo nauso naren kase yung mga poison kaya nagmahal bigla yung mga axie with poison.

Dahil medyo nagkaroon ng pagbagal sa server nung last update nila kaya siguro isasabay na nila ito sa V2 update so may time pa talaga to buy good teams and take the risk or wait para malaman mo kung ano ang magiging ok na team pero for sure tataas na ang price by that time.
106  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: MIR4 NFT game? on: October 24, 2021, 06:44:56 PM
Since this is a P2e game, okay plba maggrind dito like the whole day magkano ang maeearn? Nagdadalawang isip kasi akong laruin itong game na 'to dahil nga it's too late na daw and yung recent update sa steam is no NFT games na daw. Recommended pa rin ba maglaro ng MIR4 now? and worth it ba sa oras or should I focus on other profitable P2E game. Ang worry ko is baka mamaya sobrang aksaya sa oras pero yung earnings is very low. So baka may makakapagshare ng exp nila and I know it's a f2p game at walang gagastusin but I focused on p2e talaga before I play a game.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you choose projects for investment on: October 24, 2021, 06:04:40 PM
1. Team (most of the famous developers worked in google and facebook)
Well, on this part I really recommend that their identities are true because some projects are just using people who are famous and recently worked on huge companies such as Facebook and Google.
2. Strong community (more than 100k on Twitter and a very strong forum)
Sometimes, it's not still recommended to join on a project just because of the social accounts because bots are still possible, better to be safe than trusting a community that doesn't really exist.
3. Own blockchain (develop their own structure with their own EVM and cross-chain)
Some projects does rely on other existing blockchain but I really recommend this part since it's their development showing to us, it means there's progress that can be assured as an investor.
4. Solving existing problems in cryptocurrency (high fees, transaction processing speed, scalability)
Most of the projects doesn't focus on scalability problems since some projects depend on other existing blockchains already and if you're talking about another blockchain project then it will be a hard competition since many blockchains already existed such as BNB, ETH, SOL, and ADA.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help sent usdt to smart contract instead of wallet on: October 24, 2021, 05:50:29 PM
so i sent some usdt to a smart contract address other then my wallet address is there anything i can do or just consider it gone?

If the token has a function that returns money sent to the contract address by mistake, it will be returned to your wallet, but if it does not, your money will be lost. It's already lost forever, as others have stated.

That's why I always double-check the address, since if I use the incorrect address, we'll have no choice but to acknowledge that we didn't double-check the accurate address.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you actually using/buying NFT's, and Gaming Tokens? on: October 24, 2021, 05:30:50 PM
There is a big hype for all NFT & Gaming Tokens these days, I wonder how many person can actually say they own any art forms under, same for Game tokens.

I am sure there are way more buyers of the tokens than there are users!
Of course, because NFT are limited and pricey, people prefer to buy the actual tokens, assuming that they would be profitable soon after being deployed in various applications. After all, more usecases equals more demand, right? I own a lot of NFTs, and the most of them are the result of hard work since it's not easy to own one, and I'm sure it's not easy even if you have the money because there's whitelisting and such to own if there's still no marketplace to buy.
110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk Sees Bitcoin Price Reaching $69,000 on: October 24, 2021, 03:33:05 PM
We're at it again!

Elon Musk is on the move again, and he'll most likely manipulate the market in the same way he did before. Elon Musk is back in the crypto world after the fud he created about bitcoin mining's energy consumption, which makes no logic and has been debunked by many experts. He understands the crypto market is still active, and many people are still interested in making money; he's a whale, and he'll most likely control the market through investing and, of course, shills.

Well anyways, $69,000 will prolly gonna reach with or without him, based on the past charts and ofc, Q4 of each year, it's always recovery or new ATH.
111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Setup Telegram Bitcointalk SuperNotifier V2(TryNinja's Bot) on Telegram! on: October 24, 2021, 03:15:58 PM
I just saw this, and it's incredible that there's a bot like this that exists so that we can track who ever replies to our posts, especially if there's a specific thread where we expect to have a good discussion. I already have one, the Btctalk_meritbot, which I started using last year, and your bot does the same, but Btctalk_meritbot doesn't alert me if someone has merited me, so I'll absolutely use your bot.

Also, if there is an existing discord bot that does the same thing, I'd be happy to utilize it because I'm pretty active in discord and it'll always keep me up to date on my forum activity.
There is a new update made by TryNinja to the Bitcointalk SuperNotifier v2. I am glad the bot did reach you and finally know about it. It feels goos when you able to help someone you don't know or those who didn't know this bot. Actually, this bot is not actually mine, it is stated in the op that the owner of this bot is TryNinja. All credits should go to TryNinja for creating this bot and I only focus on sharing how to setup this bot on your telegram. I am also using this bot myself and I received notification from the threads I tracked, merit notifs and mentioned notifs.
Yes, it's a great help for me; right now, I'm busy with other things as well; I'm trading and playing NFT games at the same time; these types of apps will undoubtedly assist me in notifying such actions on the forum. I've already tried it and it's fantastic. Thank you so much for your help!

..but Btctalk_meritbot doesn't alert me if someone has merited me, so I'll absolutely use your bot.

Use all, there is one another, so you never miss notification. They don't take much time to setup anyway
I believe that utilizing this bot is sufficient; I don't want a lot of things in my telegram chat, which is already cluttered with many crypto-related projects and communities. And, moreover, if the other bot can do everything, I'll absolutely use it; there's no reason to use the other one Smiley
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learn to laugh even if Bitcoin is crashing on: October 23, 2021, 06:48:43 PM
Actually Idc on other people saying or teasing me about bitcoin crashes, I'm been in crypto for how many years and have already seen those ATHs and crashes of bitcoin. I already know from those experiences that bitcoin is inevitable, eventually, it will recover or will break another ATH.

So yeah, I'm just laughing at those people who don't want to believe me and are always being negative about the market. It just repeats the same pattern, it will recover and eventually will go back to its price or break, different era, same outcomes.  Roll Eyes
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we accelerate the mass adoption of crypto? on: October 23, 2021, 05:50:54 PM
Mass adoption is currently happening right now, crypto is being used in our daily lives by many people. The new meta right now is the NFT game here in my country, there are many players and investing in many different NFT games so that's why people are now aware of cryptocurrency. There are a lot of merchants right now that are accepting cryptocurrency as a payment method on the platform. Also, there are different kinds of web platforms that use crypto so for me, it's already starting and it's a huge acceleration already, the fact that it was being used in different aspects.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin > Gold on: October 23, 2021, 05:29:01 PM
.......
You already answered the question since you've mentioned that Gold is a physical thing that can be taken away from you while Bitcoin, in the neat future, it can also be taken away from you. How? You can't transfer money to local exchange if you'll not verify your account so in order to verify the account, you need identification so in that way you can withdraw your money. So I don't get your point since both assets can be manipulated or controlled at some point. Both are investments but why are we always comparing things if we can afford both? Everything has flaws and of course, even some things are risky, we are still going for it hoping to gain something.
115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HODL is the way on: October 18, 2021, 07:28:49 PM
The key to trading is patience. If you have that amount of patience then everything will be possible in the crypt. The coins you have mentioned are really very profitable. So be patient so that there is no financial crisis. But again, didn't need your money. If you had, you would have sold it.
Then you can benefit by holding. It is basically for your patience.

I think you meant by investing? Trading may require patience but you have to prevent yourself from being too greedy by waiting out too much. Once you see the prices of your coins increase, you have to decide whether to sell or to keep them. Generally, whenever I see a 3-5% increase on the coins that I have, I sell them and re-purchase some new coins and add them to my portfolio.

Investing, on the other hand, requires tremendous amounts of patience. Like here in cryptocurrencies, your best guide will always be the price history index of BTC. Just imagine, its price increased by 10% this week. Though some have argued to sell, most are convinced to HODL for long-term.
Agree with are you're saying, investing requires a lot of patience because you invested on that project because you know they will grow but sometimes it takes a lot of time before it grows. Investing on a project takes at least weeks or months. Investing means you need to HODL for a long term, it's also a life saving for you because that's a money that will be withdrawn if that coin perform a new ATH. History repeats itself and I always note that Q4 is always the month where BTC goes higher, it's a recover or a new ATH.
116  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Kahalagahan ng pagkakaroon ng back ups o storage ng Password on: October 18, 2021, 07:03:08 PM
I don't stock my private keys, seed phrase or even passwords. I used to write on a paper since putting everything on the internet is very risky. I don't put my files on a hardware since I may lost it then everything will be lost. That's why it is advisable to write it or print it out.
Mas better nga young manually or print than storing your private keys sa computer or kahit ano mang devices kasi nga once mabypass yung phone mo or ma-hack, there's a possibility na madiscover din yung seed phrases mo and accounts.

117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: October 18, 2021, 06:38:09 PM
How I wished I saw this thread back in the days. Axie Infinity has grown tremendously over the years and especially this year 2021. The AXS token has risen sharply and early investors who still hold their bags are smiling to the bank.
The same thing! I didn't anticipate it to blow up the way it is right now.

There's a part of me that regrets it, but we're already benefiting from the current situation by playing Axie Infinity, so I won't be too hard on myself. It's incredible that Axie Infinity has already been around for three years, and they truly deserve what's happening to the team right now because it's a fantastic game that I enjoy playing.
118  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 18, 2021, 05:42:02 PM
Does anyone have an idea how to change the connected email address on Roobet account? I tried to ask support but they told me to email them from new one and confirm all account details. It should be easy to change email on other places..
That’s already the answer, its from the support so better to follow it. There’s no other way since the support already told what to do, it may be hassle but since you are changing the one of the most important details of your account so deal with it and be more patience.
Well because they are very strict about this, you should be careful about doing this and make sure your account has an empty balance so that if you won't be able to come back, at least there is no fund left. Contact the support and ask them the possible consequences if they are reliable of all possible costs because sometimes they will not listen to their user's problem. However, in my case until now I did not recover my account, I accidentally change a user name when I was log in and there's a pop-up notification that you need to change the username and unfortunately, I can't able to retrieve my old username which has a balance and the support said, recover your account through your email that associated with but how can I recover I already changed the username.
Changing the email address is a challenging task because it is stored on the server and it will be difficult to change it only to recover. We all know that email is very significant in other platforms as well, so we should remember it because it is one of the simplest ways to restore our accounts. Another concern is that I doubt they will spend time and effort to a request to change the email address unless it is a VIP account or has a lot of assets in the account. If that's the case, and they've confirmed that you're a platform user and contributor, they may expedite your support ticket. Every platform is fairly tight on this because emails are one of the keys to accessing an account, thus I'm sure it'll be a difficult procedure.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can 1 Bitcoin buy in your country? on: October 18, 2021, 05:15:25 PM
The current price of BTC is $61,982 as of this post and it's equal to 3152089 PHP.

There's a lot of things we can buy now using Bitcoin here in my country.

1. House and lot

2. Nissan Terra

3. and maybe 4-6 of this? Kawasaki Z1000 R Edition

The price of 1 BTC right now is pretty huge here in my country that's why I regret not holding my coins, I didn't expect that it'll go this far.
120  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | $100k+/week contest | VIP | on: October 18, 2021, 05:00:02 PM
Even spinning thousands of these slots reels sometimes doesn't guarantee as a huge multiplier in the long run. You could play whole day but sometimes you're just out of luck that you just don't hit any high multiplier, I experienced it, I know everyone does. Sometimes your starting balance before you play is just almost the same amount as you stop playing for that day, you're unlucky if you lost it all.
In fact I often play all day sometimes unlucky with this high multiplier it can't be determined whether by playing all day we will be lucky? Of course, after all, it's a game that sometimes we always lose even though we have big capital from the start, so this can't be guaranteed to take your side.

But by setting, of course we can win even if it's small and as long as we don't spend capital if it's forced then there will be no effect on the reels being played, the point is don't be greedy.
Lucky is in the sense that it can come in any form and at any time. For example you might win on your first bet and on the other side you might be wasting all day and could not make high profits. But playing regularly certainly increase your chances of winning rather than one or two bets like for some martingale strategy works out best.So we can't exactly say about being lucky.
If we're talking about luck, I don't believe that playing often will significantly boost one's chances of winning. Actually, it will always depend on luck, and no one can enhance their win rate simply by playing unless you're accumulating experience or information that can be utilized to win skill-based gambling, but there's no way to apply such experiences if the game is luck-based gambling. Let's imagine you raise your gambling times and say 50-50, the more wins you have, the more losses you have, and it means that more initials, more winnings or losses, and the same with low capitals.
