701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 28, 2021, 03:32:10 PM
Signature campaign earnings that I received are being hodl in the account. I don't use it cause I prefer it to be the money for my emergency needs. I will only convert it to USD if I really need it, and if I need something which is essential to my life as a student, I use my other jobs earnings.
Save it to your account, then wait for your signature campaign to end before transferring it to your wallet. The explanation for this is that gambling platform fees can be very high at times, reducing your savings. True, you are not obliged to spend the money on gambling because you are being compensated for your services and have the authority to spend it however you see fit. You could gamble and win some money if you're good at it, but if you're not, the better choice is to save and keep it.
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: March 28, 2021, 03:10:36 PM
I think it is not about the ages, but how a person can be dragged to the gambling game, whether it was because of invitation from their friends or because of curiosity. A teenager can attract gambling games because his friends invite him to play some gambling games, which can be a simple gambling game such as a poker game. Instead of playing normally, they are trying to use money as the winner reward. That is a form of gambling that people know.

But a child needs to stay away from anything that can be gambling because we do not know what the impact is to them. The biggest impact that can happen to them is an addiction that will become a nightmare if they can not control themselves. It is a job for the parents to always watch out for their child, but if their child grows up, they should still watch them so they do not get too deep in the gambling games.
Yes, it should focus on how parents communicate with their children, since the parents may be the source of the problem, and children may learn to gamble from them. They are often subjected to peer pressure, but this is insignificant if their parents are properly directing them and the children know how to respect them. Gambling is not for children; it will ruin their lives because it involves money since they can't value how important this in life to survive. As long as the children are unable to define how difficult life is, proper guidance from the community, such as school, home, and even social media, should be provided.
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: March 28, 2021, 02:08:07 PM
It is not just excessive happines, there are a lot of emotion involved in this kinds of situation. But we can say the main cause is the excessive release of dopamine after winning the lottery. Too much dopamine can put pressure to the heart, leaving it to be stressed causing unexpected heart attack. This can happen to anyone but most commonly to people who are diagnosed with heart disease.
Yeah, those people that have already heart disease are the ones prone to this. That's why I remember when there are people who are about to win jackpots, there are some reminders that they shouldn't be surprised.

Or they're being asked if they have heart disease.

happiness that culminates in death is very sad.  Maybe in the future there are regulations that oblige people with a history of heart attacks not to play the lottery, but it looks ridiculous if there is such a rule because if an incident like this comes back in the future it will definitely be highlighted again by many journalists and become popular news in the media.  of course this will be a threat to illegal gambling business owners

It's easy to fake out  Wink though it isn't possible to create such kind of rules.

moving back to reality, those people who died after winning the lottery jackpot aren't lucky enough in real world. nothing can be done after you left this world no more enjoyment even you have those huge amount of money.

Better to have your life even you are just keep on chasing the jackpot than winning it then lose your life after.
Whatever the reason, I conclude that it was his destiny to accept his sudden death when he won the jackpot and it was just a coincidence, as most deaths happened according to his habits.
and actually there is no need to exaggerate or guess that is not in accordance with reality, it must be investigated and accurately what the cause is.
Yeah, it's a very unusual situation, and if he died at such a crucial time, there must be a reason, which may be attributable to his habits. Perhaps he was too intent on the jackpot or gambling to pay attention to his or her welfare, which is why health must be prioritized. If a person has a history of heart disease, it is due to the disease, not gambling, so he could be attacked by the disease even if he is taken by surprise.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accepts Bitcoin on: March 28, 2021, 12:24:44 PM
It's really surprising how bitcoin got alot of adoption starting from last year to this year, Tesla had shown interest in bitcoin at first then invested a very huge amount of bitcoin which I believe there are already making  insane gains out of it and now Elon Musk stated tesla will be accepting bitcoin as payments and the bitcoin received as payment won't be converted to fiat that means there will hodl any bitcoin been paid to them, this is great in the sense that bitcoin adoption is growing and also more investors are also coming in, it really obvious that the adoption of bitcoin by many companies is also contributing to the massive pump of bitcoin.
It really shows that bitcoin has a huge potential in the future because of the mass adoption of bitcoin in different applications especially in business. I want to see more of it in the future because it'll surely pump BTC's price and I bet it'll be more profitable if you still holding your BTC now. I'm a lil bit excited about what will happen in the future and I guess that many people who prioritize traditional assets will surely buy bitcoin in the future.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any recommended altcoins for this upcoming months? on: March 26, 2021, 09:57:14 AM
I really appreciate all of your suggestions!
ADA - it might be late for this coin to be invest with but Goguen isn't released yet which might took the price of it even higher (especially if there is no bad news that will happen to Bitcoin). Just wait for a dip which is currently happening right now since the market is bleeding since YTD. A good long term coin still. Goguen is expected to released this month but hmmmmmm.  Huh
Currently, the majority of my holdings are in ADA, which I bought on the dip. I've also done a lot of research on Cardano, and I'm confident that it will take off in the same way that Ethereum did.
On their website, you can see that there is a weekly update, with the most recent one being on March 19, 2021. They haven't disclosed a release date for Gougen, but given that it's on their roadmap, I'm sure they'll try their hardest to get this out in March. #ADAtotheMOON

GOGUEN - MARCH 19, 2021

This week, the Plutus team worked with Quviq on contract testing. They also reduced the node client log output and simplified parameterized script instances.

The Marlowe team worked on the implementation of running contracts in the Marlowe Dashboard client and improved contract semantics. They also started working on the export of contracts as Mermaid graphs, and fixed some CSS issues in the Marlowe Playground. Last, but not least, they worked on styling for the Marlowe Suite UI elements.

Just spot on some white-hot NFT tokens as it's the fad by now in the space. I don't know if this will last as the DeFi craze but I think it's worth a try if you can afford to lose that amount. Good for you to pick those winner tokens and I think the best one among your list was THETA but I think NPXS has still room to go since that burn is extremely bullish imo.

Since Bitcoin is in the distribution phase as I see it I think it's good to focus on large market cap altcoins first even the top 20 that you could find at CMC.
I am not a fan of NFT tokens as it seems to me to be an extreme fad, however if the person that started this thread can afford to lose all the capital he has planned to invest then it could be a good idea to take a shot at some of those NFTs, as I think there is no way to tell which ones will end up being valuable and which ones wont, so as long as you can buy several of those NFTs for a very low price you may have a chance to make some easy profits in the future.
It's a huge risk, and I can't afford to gamble it. $30 might be better spent on other low-cost altcoins with growth potential in the coming months. If I ever have a lot of capital, I'll try those NFTs. Thanks!  Cheesy

I already gained from NXPS, XMR, TFUEL and THETA. Gained at least 5-10%.

I currently have 30usd, what do you think is the very promising altcoin this upcoming April and why (any projects of them in the future?)?

I need your insights where should I invest next.

Do you play futures trading? If you only have $ 30 in capital, maybe in the spot market the profit you get is very little, just imagine 10% of $ 30 is only $ 5, yes or less than $ 10, of course on the spot market $ 30 is not worth it. That is, if you want to invest $ 30, it's better to buy cheap coins, such as BTS, AOA on Bithumb or NPXS.
Yeah, I'm also considering the sum I'd get if I invested in those coins, and I'm finding some cheap coins that might theoretically hit $1^. I'm thinking of moving to the long-term since scalping coins has been difficult in past weeks due to corrections. Thank you for the suggestions!

edited: Ohh ADA is moving. 15%^

You gained alot from the aforementioned coins yet you only have $30 to spare Grin
What in the world do you want to buy with that amount when gas fee is this high!
Because I already invested the other wins on some potential coins that's why I only have 30$ left to spare in other coins. Smiley
Also, the 30usd is in the exchange and the fee there will not consume the whole money so it's not a problem for me.

The only thing that will matter for me in this thread is the recommendations of some potential coins I didn't know but thanks for the concern.

Eh Paano ang Cardano(ADA)? na pumalo na ng 6 folds now just from the price last year.

709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: March 22, 2021, 10:05:54 AM
Dogecoin is a shitcoin and I think they have possibility now because of what the elon musk tweet before that results for the people to invest to the doge. But not 100 percent sure about what si the future of the binance because it is not potential many people are buying that because he follow Elon Musk. even they have chances I still not invest to the dogecoin because I prepare other coins.
I don't think dogecoin is a shitcoin, I've gained a lot in dogecoin in the past weeks, it multiplied my money after investing in early January because I sensed something potential on it. Dogecoin is a meme coin but it doesn't mean it'll be a shitcoin like the other who doesn't even list in any major exchanges and don't have any value. Dogecoin is being used in different applications so I don't find it useless. Now that it's 5 cents, 1$ can really hit soon but we don't know when and some people might regret it soon like the other people who regret not trusting doge in the past weeks, if doge has made another huge change in its price.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does BITCOIN make a person's life better !? on: March 22, 2021, 09:47:09 AM
If you look thoroughly, then BITCOIN is just money, but like money, can it improve the world around, and humanity as a whole !?
I don’t think “good” and “BITCOIN” are the same thing, most likely the opposite.
Because of money, a person becomes weaker, he does not need to do something, to develop, because money will do it for him.
Bitcoin is a thing that prolly helps people who are in need of money, so logically speaking, bitcoin does help those people and make their life easier. It will always depend on the person on how he will use that money, it doesn't mean that money will take over his life just because he has a lot of it. It's kinda weird that bitcoin can make people weak, while it makes some people happy because of the profit they are gaining to it.
To be honest, Bitcoin doesn't help people who need money it only help people that embrace its technology and make use of it to the betterment of their life. There's alot of people on the street who are in need of money and have hear about Bitcoin didn't invest in it.
Well, it will depend on your way or approach on cryptocurrency because if you have the ideals and have knowledge on trading, the crypto can easily help you gain profit with just a minimum amount and small transaction fees. They didn't invest because they don't want to risk it if it's the only money left, right? They rather buy it with foods and necessary items that'll help them to survive. But if they have the ability and strong enough to sacrifice things just to invest in crypto, they can gain it as long as they have the prior knowledge requirement on investment.

Imagine you're poor, and you only have 10usd left, what will you prioritize? buy it for food to survive a week or invest it? and there's a possibility that cryptocurrency might take more than weeks to grow. So what will you choose? and besides, some of them don't have smartphones or any devices to be used in investment so it's very impossible for them. BUT if they have that opportunity and have prior knowledge of crypto, I'm sure that they will invest it to grow and gain profit. Let's speak generally because, bitcoin is really helpful, of course, each opportunity in life requires something before you can enter it, you need to adapt to what is needed to be adapt. Like living in this world, you need to adapt to the environment in order to survive, there will be always a requirement. After living on that environment, you'll benefit from it as you already knew what to do.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: $5 Worth of LTC & $5 Worth of USDT - Binance - What to do? on: March 21, 2021, 07:17:35 PM
I suggest that you should wait at least it grew, and are you sure that you won't regret it after using the 10usdt on other altcoins than the LTC? Think about it first because one of the mistakes of a novice in trading is transferring their usdts in different altcoin after correction occurs, it'll be a waste of money because you won't notice that fees are already eating your small amount since you have small capital. But if you have no choice and really want to put investments on another atc, then go deposit right now and take your decisions wisely. goodluck!
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 21, 2021, 06:36:54 PM
its your money after all.

No matter on where and how you do spend it out then its none of others business.

That's true but I like reading comments on how they spend their bitcoin as it could help me realized how valuable it is, I'm not saying it's bad to spend them in gambling because we also need to enjoy, but we have to realized that we are holding a precious asset that could change our life in the future, if we thought that bitcoin will continue to rise in the future due to demand, then we might have to think it will reach a price that people can't imagine so we can be convince to hold longer with confidence.
Agree, other statements might help us to realize which is the best way to spend it since being practical is one of the keys to be successful. And it's our choice if we will share what we're doing in our signature campaign earnings in this thread so I guess there's no sense of telling them that it's their earnings and it's none of our business because we have a choice to reply or not. These assets are valuable now, this kind of thread might help others that are confused if they will invest it, trade, or what will do on their BTC/altcoin earnings because it's not just earnings after all, after you received it, it became an investment. Cryptocurrencies are very valuable now in this era and it's not simply money that should be traded easily to fiat because the current trend is bullish, might hodl it to gain more.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Being impredictable on: March 21, 2021, 06:09:17 PM
Is there a way that you can ensure being difficult to predict at Poker? For example, if you never bluff, people will eventually get to known that and it will reduce your ability to profit from good  cards? Anyone there knows techniques or trick to avoid being easy to read?
Don't play with emotions, facial expressions can be easy to read what's on your hand because of emotions. Just play confident that you are always having a good card, in that way, the opponent will be intimidated by what card you have. Poker is a mind game, learn to bluff the opponents and fool them with your strategy, you'll probably win even having a bad card.

Also, don't play similar people in the same lobby, they might easily read or predict you if you're playing with them a lot of games.

In online poker, it's not even a problem 'cause emotions can be easily hidden and it'll not bother you playing. You can focus now and play confidence, and eventually, you'll learn how to bluff.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: March 21, 2021, 05:44:54 PM
Have you guys experienced any loss/win out of the issue with internet connectivity. I've mentioned about wins/losses, but mostly people get affected negatively when there is connectivity issues. I personally believe that the internet connection is also a reason with our gambling wins. Here it is about casino games and not sports betting.

Most of the time I gamble using the mobile device. The connectivity speed varies between locations and I've encountered with the rolls taking more time as well as the the rollers moving within the bar with sudden visibility. When I check the provably fair functioning, it does right. But, my mind has a thinking our loss is due to the internet connection.

Does any of you have similar experience or thinking.
Internet is one of the major things when you're having online gambling especially if it's PVP gambling, you'll instantly lose to the opponent such as poker and any games. Lose of connectivity is one of the irritating moments especially when you're doing something on the internet, what more if you're gambling, money is on the line. There are platforms that don't register bets due to loss of connection and sometimes we thought that we bet on a team we knew that will win but it doesn't. The stability of the internet connection is a pretty big deal on any internet activity such as gaming, streaming, browsing, gambling, trading, or whatsoever so always make it sure that we have a stable connection when we're having gambling activity.

VCT or Valorant Champion Tour: Master 1 is currently happening right now, there are many regions that's having this tournament.
There are 3 VCT Master Stage before the Valorant Champions, check the tour structure here: https://playvalorant.com/en-us/news/esports/announcing-the-2021-valorant-champions-tour/

later at 8pm (forum time), SEN vs FaZe Clan will face in the finals of VCT Masters 1 in NA. Gonna bet on SEN as we know they're very competitive and TenZ of C9 signed up as a player for SEN, it's an OP team tho.

SEN already defeated FaZe, they just win in the lower bracket that's why they'll be in the finals.

you can check the results of other VCT in different regions: https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Champions_Tour/2021
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: March 21, 2021, 04:04:58 PM
I might have to do some research on this subject. Seems like something you only see in the movies. I can’t recall ever hearing a real story of this happening on the news. Listening to how people describe lottery winners, it really does sound like more of a curse than a blessing.
Winning the lottery is the dream of many and the nightmare of the few that win it, what happens is that even if on the short term the lump sum they receive can enable the lottery winners to avoid bankruptcy after a few more years they find themselves filling at even higher rates than people that did not won the lottery, why?

Because they did not have a plan and did not stop to think whether they could live the life of their dreams or whether they could handle the circumstances they found themselves in. Let me state this clearly, everytime I hear that someone received a chunk of money and bought a luxury car, I never hear that they have decided to drastically change their lifestyle. I never hear them saying that if they had to do it all over again they would have bought a Mini Cooper.

True, but they could have easily got someone to make a plan for them, with that amount of money they could hire the best money manager available which will help them to administer the money, as I said people go crazy when they win big amounts of money because they want to make all their material dreams come true at the same time, and even if they do not lose their fortune they get in many other problems, like alcoholism or drug addiction, which is why I think you need to have a very strong mind to resist destroying your life when you receive so much money.
But if you're aiming for a jackpot then probably should've ready your plan on how you'll spend your money.

Why would you gamble to get a jackpot if you aren't having a dream of having a business, building a house and so many more thing you've wanted. So if you're trying to invest in gambling, plan right now for your future and make sure that you're gambling because you're aiming for something that will make your life better.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: March 21, 2021, 02:46:22 PM
Some used to pacify themselves with the term it is their fate to loss in gambling. Some say it is the lack of control that makes them loss big. Here I'm taking this into discussion relative to the game - Dice.

Same as this some used to mention winning as fate and some term the same as luck. I believe win out of dice is trick, and right exit strategy.

What is the truth in this regard, because users like me are always go lack of control even when luck is on our side. End of the day used to pacify thyself terming it as our fate and move on. Hope you guys don't do this mistake. Cry Cry
Maybe it's just their excuse because it's your choice to gamble in the first place so expect that losing might occur in this situation. Losing doesn't mean that you're losing irl, you can learn from it and use it to develop yourself in gambling. Also, controlling your emotions really means a lot in gambling that's why people are trying to get rid of it to think properly and not to be greedy. If it's your fate to win because of your action, then you'll win and if it's your fate to lose then it's you'll lose but it will always depend on your actions.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Future? on: March 21, 2021, 01:36:16 PM
i have been in the cryptocurrency field since 2014 and i have seen the brightest and darkest days of BTC but when i look at the current rising conditions of the bitcoin market i see that we have come a long way and most of the world is accepting the cryptocurrency payments and some lager brands are also connected to the BTC world.

but sometimes a thought crosses my mind that will these conditions last longer and better in the future?

what do you guys have to say about it?

let us know  Smiley
Actually, there's no right answer to your question mate as we know that we can't determine what's ahead in the future. But I strongly believe that bitcoin will still exist in the future as long as we develop our digital technology, the bitcoin is the future itself. You are already in cryptocurrency for how many years, darkest and brightest then probably you have faith in bitcoin that it will stay more longer. I'm already thinking of an era that most of us using and trading cryptocurrency because it's the trend now for any transaction.
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Power consumption propaganda? on: March 21, 2021, 11:23:23 AM
Would be interested to hear what the point of view is on a recent increase in press statements as follows: ‘Bitcoin may soon consume more power than Australia’— almost 10 times more than Google, Microsoft and Facebook combined.
Is there anything behind this or is it just another angle of attack against bitcoin prompted by remarks by Bill Gates?.....is it even possible to calculate consumption in this way?
Prolly just propaganda against bitcoin.

There are multiple kinds of factories that consume a lot of energy, especially those that produce devices such as smartphones, consoles, hardware, and so on. Every year, a great deal of energy is wasted in the production of components that aren't used or sold. Actually, if they use a lot of power, which means they're tripling their production rate, they'll make a lot of money, particularly if their product is in high demand. I'm not sure why they keep blaming bitcoin when some private producers are among those who waste energy on products that are only used for entertainment.

720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rich people causes cryptocurrency ban on: March 21, 2021, 11:13:31 AM
Is it the wealthy who are the problem, or the government, which refuses to acknowledge cryptocurrency, deeming it a threat to the economy? So I doubt that the wealthy are behind this because it's another way for them to make money; they have a big head start and can make a lot of money. The government, on the other hand, needs wealthy people to pay taxes on a regular basis because they are wealthy, have a lot of money, or own a company.

According to many articles I've read, the government is always the first to oppose cryptocurrency because they are the only ones who will not benefit to this. People are wondering why the government refuses to invest in bitcoin.

Very simple.

The government prioritizes tangible assets such as gold because, in the circumstance that anything catastrophic occurs in our digital world, gold will still exist, whereas the government is unsure whether this crypto will survive in the period ahead.
