541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Musk is going to hurt the Crypto Industry, sign this petition on: May 28, 2021, 10:50:53 AM
Musk is really going to make this Doge bubble pop at some point and its going to hurt the industry, I started a petition to basically ask him to stop swaying the market.
Check it out and sign and share everyone.

Let me know if I should make some changes to it too, I can go back and edit it.

https://www.change.org/MuskPetition

IMO, There's no need for a petition like this because he won't be able to manipulate the market if no one sides with him simply because of his tweets. He understood that he has the ability to control people, which implies that he will also be able to control the market.

But if we are aware of what he is doing, the crypto market will not crash as a result of his tweets. People had so much faith in him that they dubbed him the "Father of Crypto," but after his recent actions, they realized the truth, and I hope that some others will soon open their eyes.

It's a nonsense petition tbh, it will be worthless because Elon is a huge guy, do you think a petition can beat him? It's better to spread good ideologies about trading than trusting Elon's shilling on crypto.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you "swap" your crypto for a Tesla? on: May 28, 2021, 09:36:06 AM
Hello everyone!

So with the hype around crypto that Elon Musk is creating and with the news about possibility of acquisition of any Tesla car with crypto, comes my question:
Would you buy a Tesla with BTC or ETH? Aren't we going to regret it? In future, will this turn to an event similar to "Bitcoin Pizza Day" where people will be sayin that someone spend a whole BTC or 10 ETH for a car Huh?
No way. I won't buy Tesla with BTC or ETH because I know I'll be regretful if the crypto market explodes and goes to the moon. Even the doge makes no sense because it is guaranteed to double or triple your money on an asset that is currently used by many people, especially now that Elon is overhyping the doge.

Well... I don't even have a drivers license, so that'll be a no.
LOL. You didn't even imagine having a license, to answer the question of buying a Tesla with crypto.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Matic is Top gainers ? In his bull run? on: May 28, 2021, 08:57:17 AM
MATIC has recently come to my attention, and most of my friends are recommending it to me.

After the bear market or the demise of most altcoins, one of my friends invested heavily in MATIC and recovered some of his losses as a result of the bear market.

Actually, MATIC isn't the only coin that will be among the top gainers; many upcoming coins, such as ADA, will most likely steal the show. If we look at the market flow, we can see that ADA always takes time to recover, but the recovery is guaranteed, and I am confident that it will continue its bull run.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Projects on: May 28, 2021, 07:26:35 AM
Found this project, PINKMOON

Currently at a dip, many whales take profit from it.

But take a look at their project; according to my research, they will launch a decentralized exchange called PinkSwap, and they recently launched their first IDO, PinkElon.
I'm not sure about their other project, but the fact that they've accomplished so much in such a short period of time is very promising.

Don't forget to DYOR and TAYOR, high-risk high reward guys so be careful investing if you're not good at committing.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot is the Real Ethereum killer? on: May 28, 2021, 06:57:51 AM
I think the real Ethereum killers are DeFi and AMM exchanges like Uniswap, 1inch, they are huge exchanges that are very costly exchanges, the presence of them also makes gas nowadays quite expensive.
IMO, I believe they will die as soon as more innovative exchanges are created, because anyone can create those types of projects in crypto, specifically in defi, which is under smart chains. When Ethereum crashes, those on its network will most likely crash as well, so I'm not sure why UNI and 1INCH will be the ETH killler.

The only potential ETH killers are other chain networks such as BNB and the upcoming ADA, which is currently in development and has a solution in scalability.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid been carried away, it's never going to be bullish forever on: May 28, 2021, 06:01:39 AM
Now everything is a little different. In 2017, we had only one trend in cryptocurrencies, but now everything has become much more diverse and there is much more money in cryptocurrency.
Obviously, those who want to take profit should do this, but for those who are the holder, by and large, everything is exactly how the market behaves during their hold, they will withdraw their profit when they need it.

Every movement now is very different from each other so today's crypto market is definitely trader-friendly unlike in the year 2017 where most of the altcoins are very bearish. That's why I stopped investing in altcoins at that time because there's no one can even give you a good profit. But now, there are plenty of altcoins that can stand alone and have a good community that hodls and fully support the project.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoins to Buy During Dip on: May 28, 2021, 04:02:56 AM
So I own bitcoin, ethereum, and binance coin.  What are the best altcoins to invest in during this dip?   I'm considering ethereum, binance, and litecoin.
Consider those utility coins that has chain network like ADA.

Very cheap right now and has the potential to outperform BNB's ATH if the entire road map is implemented.

There are many coins in which we should invest, and we can easily find them on coinmarketcap and do some research on them. Check out what's the best and most likely to be used by the people, the crypto community, and that's an assurance that it will grow soon.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: May 26, 2021, 11:12:25 PM
I was looking at staking my ethereum. The interest rate seems good and I found BlockFi.com which seems to be around 10% (not guaranteed rate though). Is there a risk of losing coins and is staking recommended? For Ethereum, which site pays the highest APR and is the most reliable/safest?

Thanks!
Go for staking if...

You have a lot of coins to guarantee a good amount of profit per month because if you're only staking a small number of coins, it's better to be a swing trader or futures trader with correct entries to gain profit. However, if you have a large amount of ETH, I believe it will be worthwhile because ETH is a potential altcoin. It's fine to go staking as long as you're investing in an altcoin that has a good use and is expected to grow significantly in the coming days.
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making investmets based on Elon Musk Tweets on: May 26, 2021, 10:02:14 PM
I agree that Elon is a great help to the crypto community. Imagine that he brings a large number of people or newcomers to the community, a new ATH of crypto members who are investing in it. The only thing I despise is that the majority of them become an offering for him to make a lot of money during the peak. My friends are among those offering; they became interested after learning that the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX is participating in this year's crypto bull run, but they didn't realize it was all a marketing ploy from the start.

Well, this may have a negative impact as well, as people may leave the community as a result of a significant loss. So if you have friends that want to invest in crypto because of a public figure, it's better to suggest TAYOR (Trade at your own risk) than TBET (Trade because of Elon Tweets).
550  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk is getting boring! on: May 26, 2021, 09:47:11 PM
Guys, of course I understand that Elon Musk is a very cool dude, but there's too much of him here now.
I don't know about you, but I'm already very bored reading bitcoin discussions, where almost every third topic is about this "respected" man.
It seems to me that the more we write about him here, the more I become uninterested in reading bitcoin discussions.
I suggest that, at the very least, we create a separate topic about Elon Musk.  Angry

I'm still puzzled as to why you guys keep focusing on him; he's not the type of guy we're used to seeing. Also, I realized that in the crypto market, we shouldn't rely on such a well-known and wealthy individual like him because there are drawbacks, and I know you don't want them to have complete control over the market.

But, in terms of Doge, I'm sure he's an excellent man working to improve it, but in the crypto community as a whole, I don't recommend him as a place where newcomers can rely.
551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin starting to recover on: May 25, 2021, 11:41:45 PM
FUD has only a short-term impact on the market; whales are simply taking advantage of the massive fud to profit and buy again in the dip while the rest of the market is stuck at the peak, still hodling. This has already happened in crypto in the past years, so I'm not sure why some people are overreacting to the bearish market. For me, this is just a sale because it will result in more profit and financial freedom soon. Some people will not stay in crypto because they have already been lost and liquidated, but there will be many more to come and the recovery will begin quickly, as we know that many well-known people are hyping cryptocurrency right now.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥 WOW, Michael Saylor and Elon Musk, What do you think? on: May 25, 2021, 11:48:37 AM
Nah, it's not good news for me.

He should've done that before getting into crypto because he's one of the wealthiest men and can manipulate things. I agree with the other members that crypto is becoming more centralized, with whales able to play whenever they want. I started a thread about Elon Musk manipulating the market because I'm really disappointed, if you've noticed that he's not very responsible for his actions.

Furthermore, the majority of the miners are from China; how can that miner council be formed if even half of the miners in China do not participate? It's good news for some, BTC is pumping again, and everything is slowly returning, but in the grand scheme of things, it's a little concerning.

Yes, Tesla is still stashing bitcoin, but it's only a small percentage of their total asset, so i really hate the excuse of using Tesla to make people believe that he truly supports it, when in reality, he's just waiting for a dip to buy again. The only thing I like about Elon Musk is that he's trying to promote a meme coin that will almost certainly make you an x2 profit like in defi trading, if it was promoted, it will give you money.
553  Economy / Economics / Do you think Elon is manipulating the market? on: May 25, 2021, 10:56:44 AM
The massive dump happened when Elon Musk tweeted about Tesla not accepting Bitcoin as a payment method, whereas a lot of people also lost investment especially beginners who recently put money hoping for a huge pump. After that, a massive fud has happened simultaneously like all of it was all planned and most of us are really f*cked up, -50% loss in the portfolio.

List of fuds that makes the crypto market crash:
-Elon Musk tweeted about Tesla not accepting Bitcoin as a payment method
-Bitcoin price falls after China calls for crackdown on bitcoin mining and trading behavior

Elon, in my opinion, is truly manipulating the market by issuing a statement on his Twitter account that is very influential to the majority of people in the crypto scene without DYOR even his people that are engineers can't assess the reality of bitcoin mining! He stated that BTC isn't good for the environment and having a huge power consumption but many of the experts have already debunked his statement.

I've read also a topic here that also debunks the claim about power consumption. ---> Debunking the "Bitcoin is an environmental disaster" argument.
and here's another one. https://coinshares.com/assets/resources/Research/bitcoin-mining-network-june-2019-fidelity-foreword.pdf

Then what happened, whales buying into the dip, and so on...

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1396914548167233537

Elon Musk tweeted this as if he truly cares, despite the fact that he is the one who started the fud and made early decisions before putting it into action.
I think Elon is manipulating the market, taking advantage of all those who are following in his footsteps, and it makes me fearful that the sole purpose of crypto being decentralized may be lost soon if the manipulation continues. What do you think?

Edited. The sole purpose of this is to raise awareness of Elon Musk's actions among new traders, so I completely agree with the majority of the responses on my thread.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any chance Bitcoin can end ? on: May 24, 2021, 03:18:24 PM
Many people are always negative about just because of the recent massive dump.

Fyi, it's normal, and the huge drop was pretty healthy, with whales profiting and, of course, those who have lost money in trading are unquestionably those who bought during the crypto highest point.

I don't find any reason why bitcoin will end, and I know that you're saying this because of what happened in bitcoin. The only thing I would like to say is, there's will be always a correction in any market, always dyor and have a good technical analysis.

I don't know him, but based on how you describe him, I'm convinced he's done good things for the forum. To be honest, it makes me sad that someone in this forum has died, even though we don't know each other.
My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends, particularly those who knew him here on the forum.

RIP @Beck666!
