801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was not wrong to bought bitcoin. on: January 21, 2021, 11:17:22 AM
I bought Bitcoin a few days ago for12 thousand dollars.  At that time the price of one bitcoin was 28 thousand dollars.  At present, the price of Bitcoin is 37 thousand dollars.  Which is really good news for me.  I made a post after buying bitcoin to see if I made a mistake in buying bitcoin.  I was convinced that I had done nothing wrong and that it was now clear.
Below is a link to my previous post:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5305436.msg55985225#msg55985225
Good for you, it's obviously a risk but it paid off for trusting bitcoin at that time. This is possible as long as you calculate, speculate, and analyze the current flow of the market, it's not pure luck because it's expected to surpass the recent ATH. These kinds of late investments have huge risks that only a few people do this because they don't want to lose money. They're afraid that's too late because the bull run started very early in q4. Well, if you think it's very worth it, what more to those people who invested in early 2020, x6 their money.
802  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: January 20, 2021, 12:45:31 PM
These are my current bets and waiting for the outcome.
Will Michelle Obama be a member of Biden's cabinet? Ofc no, even barack obama decline of being a cabinet member if Biden offered him the position, and I guess it's the same thing with Michelle.
Few hours left, i don't think it's possible for Trump to pardon himself so all of my bets are no.

Another bet of mine in sports.

Utah Jazz vs. New Orleans Pelicans - Utah Jazz
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Los Angeles Lakers - Los Angeles Lakers

803  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits $40k on: January 14, 2021, 11:27:11 PM
The way bitcoin price is rising in the market, is a sign that this year 2021 will be the best year for all bitcoin users. The price of bitcoin move from $27k to $40k from the beginning of this year which many customers are very happy with their trading in the exchange market.
According to researcher, this is just the beginning for the price of bitcoin, by next two month the price of bitcoin will hit $50k to show, this year will be good for all bitcoin families all over the world.
Who is this researchers? If you will just rely to other people then it will be more difficult when it comes to trading. The better action on this is to rely on your ownself, to have experience and understand the mechanics very well. Maybe those researchers you are talking about is just novice in trading, your moneu will be on the risk.
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino on: January 14, 2021, 09:06:18 PM

Unfortunately, I don't think there are some legitimate methods to beat the casino, usually such gamblers use fraud methods. As far as I know no one hasn't made it with honest way and luck so it's not good to keep people in belief that is possible.

The only legitimate method is through luck and the right mindset but just playing will not give you a lot of wins the other method of course is through cheating but like all the people listed here, they are all caught, publicized, and banned from casinos premises, they can still try their luck on online gambling but they cannot cheat the system, they have to tey other methods.

Only luck will not get you to big winning or this might be just an exception. Cheating is the only way but that also doesn't give results over night and it takes a lot to get known the system. However, this is illegal and I'm strongly against such methods. Besides, that can never last for long and sooner or later they'll get busted.
I'm also against with cheating and he should face the consequences of being a cheater. It's not a skill that is based on your character so cheating shouldn't be tolerated on different kind of games. Many people have lost their money and some of their futures have been ruined, it's very unfair if you'll fight hsing cheats.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 5 James Bond gambling scenes on: January 14, 2021, 07:48:05 PM
I start my gambling journey with James bond movies. I grew up watching James bond movies, and I especially like casino scenes. I was wonder where he is and how he is betting his money in the casino. I like his first part, which is full of poker and actions, and I enjoy vesper features. I want to go with Casino Royals, and I like the vesper storyline. Poker movie is so painful to their players were terrible.

No matter what happen. James Bond films are the lowest film that has no influence about the gamblers. It was really made purely for action so I doubt it has to do with your camera and others. There are plenty of james bond film that has much more influence.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling advertising monitored closely on: January 14, 2021, 06:14:27 PM

Have not seen the second picture you shared but by just looking at how the game looks, it is obviously appealing to children. If kids saw this, without knowing that it's gambling, they would probably try accessing the game since there's so much adorable stuff that they would like on this game. Plus the fact that they advertise it on Facebook where kids nowadays have their own account and they might think it's just a simple game. Personally, if I did not know that this is for gambling, I would think that they target to attract children to play the game. We can't blame those who made a report about this because it's really not a good choice of images.

If you are an adult playing on a slot and these images pop up I don't think it will appeal to you, the owner of that gambling site is thinking of what the children will like when they used these images, it's obviously for children and there's no defense for this, 100% of those who will see this will conclude that it's targeting young people.
I've read the article from the second screenshot I shared. the gambling site said to ASA that reason for the cute design as they were appealing to women of age 18-65 but I think the design is a little too cute or kid-like and I agree with ASA that the design actually is a little irresponsible on the gambling site's side.

These picture advertisement isn't attracted to the wwoman aged 18-65 personally speaking because it looks like that these site are advertising to the child and so much pleasant and colorful to the eyes of the children.  This isn't appealing to me if i were a woman aging mid 20's. These should be taken seriously if the gambling site really wanted to attract woman gamblers by simply making their content and game criteria a lot creative than these.
This is very cute and I doubt that they will get attracted on that design. And also, being cute is different from a kids design so this isn't very attractive to women. They should have formed an analysis on what kind of UI they will show to their target audience because even the design will have a factor on success. Most of the gambers are adult and obviously they should have a design thay os very fitting to adults.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: January 14, 2021, 05:48:56 PM

yo, Faker was benched in T1's debut..the hell? i mean, they're stomping Hanwha at the time of writing so it's not like they're missing him, but still ):

I think, that they are having closer to play more on the competitive scene. They are nurturing him to be a great midlaner by having him experienced more of the tournaments. He is a really great player, basing on his streams and plays with alkali and irelia. Faker, on the other hand, is already nurtured, and well known as the best mid laner, LoL community has ever seen.

Side note, SKT fans are really something else. The moment they didn't see faker plays for the team, they already start to bash the whole management for that action.  Embarrassed
It is because T1 (SKT) have a lot of immature fans, trust me because I know a lot of them. They're always get angry when faker isn't playing on the team. Faker already knows a lot in competitive scene because he's full of experience and already won championship but the fans should also know that T1 need to develop the substitute on a real match. People are too much, they're not even benefiting on those, yet still angry when being opposed.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: January 14, 2021, 05:24:36 PM
yeah if they are not addicted to the gambling then it is possible for them to live their whole life on gambling's income but afterall this whole thing depend on luck factor, I have seen a lot of people living their life on gambling as well as majority of skilled people are facing a big loss of money.

If your long term strategy depends on luck, then you are doing something wrong. It is naive to hope for luck if we are talking about a long distance - the math works here strictly in favor of the bookmakers/casino owners etc. Therefore, if you want to succeed then you must either be a casino owner or look for and find weaknesses/mistakes at casinos/bookmakers.
Not many people can become bookmakers or casino owners because that will need a lot of money to start. If people do not play gambling for a long time and will think twice about using gambling for a profession, they will save their money, and they do not have to depend on the luck factor because that will not work for the long term. Many people live ruin because they want to use gambling as a profession, which is an important lesson for us not to follow them to ruin our lives.

Precisely! Set those experiences coming from other gamblers who become addicted  and lose control.

It's very possible  that  you'll  be  able to engaged too much and lose all  your savings  if you are not careful, many people suffer from depression  and some ends up committing suicide to escape from this huge mistake. You need to be responsible in any decision  making  that  you'll going  to take. Gambling  as profession is not easy as it is.
You should think wisely about where will you spend your money, that's the basics in life. This decision is applicable in all aspects as long as there is money on the line. Many people have already lost a lot of money and ruined their lives because of gambling, we should learn from their mistakes. Sometimes, you'll learn if you're taking advice from other people, not only by experiencing it. And also, we shouldn't compare ourselves to professional gamblers that really risk, it is because they have the ability to recover it because they have funds or sponsorship when competing in leagues.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 14, 2021, 12:34:23 PM
I see a lot of signature wearers discussing gambling quite frequently in this section of the board. I’m curious, what do you do with your signature campaign earnings? Do you support your advertiser and gamble it on their platform, save it, or spend it? I assume most people probably gamble it, and that’s why signature campaigns are able to be so generous, but maybe some users are taking advantage of the funds to help support themselves or even give back to charities or organizations they enjoy. If you have a good use for your earned signature campaign earnings, share it here, or even if you have a not so good use. Smiley

I always support the advertiser so I try their service first hand, then spending a portion of my earnings on their site as one way of showing gratitude for the opportunity that they gave me.  Aside from that, I also give the majority of my earnings to my parents since I am still single.

What you are doing is very wise without being selfish, thinking only of yourself. Most people use their earnings for their own benefit, but you choose
to use it partly to spend on the platform site that you are advertising. And a large part of your earnings is given to your parents, this is something
that should be imitated in my opinion. Unfortunately, because my ranking is not high yet, my income is not that big. So I can't do what you did.
Depends on the needs  of people because we don't have  that same of mentality on what are the things we should  gonna  do even if we do have same income or earning but  doesn't mean that
we would definitely do the same unless if you do idolize him or does really have the same way of thinking.

Spending a part of your money into the company that do pays you do serve out as some sort of support and at the same time you've been advertising them  but of course you  do get paid for that.

Its not really that mandatory or needed because its our own earnings and that company isn't really forcing you to do  so.Its all yours and it doesn't matter on how you would gonna use it.

I strongly agree with your statement mate, and yes we have our own type of needs in living our daily life and utilizing a signature campaign earnings can be divided according to what we are in need most. Some may prefer to use their earnings to support their gambling site, some may hodl it to their hardwaller and will make it as an investment or savings and some may use it to sustain their needs for foods or other necessities. And as a signature campaign earner i am utilizing it by dividing it in three which prioritizing to save first and the needs of our family.
Agree, we have different lives and those earnings can be used depends on what we feel worthy to spend off. As long as we spend it for the good, it shouldn't be a problem because signature campaign earnings are a really big help in our lives. I've earned a lot since Q1 of 2020 and I hold it because I'm hoping for a price pump this year and it paid off right now. It's also fine if we spend it on gambling, to feel the enjoyment and excitement of a game of course.
810  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin's price drop to 30K healthy? on: January 14, 2021, 12:03:39 PM
Actually, It depends, it'll be good for those who have dumped already and wanted to start investing again. It's normal that the price might go up and down in the market so I don't find any problem with it, the only problem you'll encounter is when you'll put the money on the line.
I think only a fool will expect the price to continue to go up forever, this correction is healthy for the market. Though chain analysis show that it is not whales dumping their BTC but miners. Miners need money for their daily operation and taking some money to keep in their reserves is good for business.
yes, that is true, everything is easy to grow particularly in Bitcoin supply. We all know that through many efforts of the great miners around the globe, the edging level of technology is much more faster and stable,in other words, Bitcoin's price now are still healthy due to the expected drop is normal.
Agree to it, after the drop to $5k and now we reach $40k, why there are still hoping for a bitcoin price pump? It's very late to invest right now people are just hoping for the correction to invest and start all over again after gaining a profit.
811  Economy / Economics / Re: The sale of the COVID-19 vaccine on the dark web continues. on: January 14, 2021, 11:40:17 AM
$1,000? Really? I found some reports that vaccines are cheap and the expensive one is Sinovac from China that cost around $15, I don't know if it's accurate. It's worthless to buy a vaccine that is a prevention for the pandemic in a black market, nobody will risk their life just to buy on a random site. The government will now distribute the vaccine soon here in my country, I guess other countries will do the same so there's no sense of buying it at that cost because they're already mass-producing it, it's not rare.

The cheapest one is $5 based on what our local gov. said, it's AstraZeneca is the name, came from oxford.
812  Economy / Economics / Re: The recent rise in prices, temporary or more long term? on: January 14, 2021, 10:33:29 AM
For me, I think this BTC rise that happened recently was temporary as people got interested in bitcoin and invested more in it. There are various things that happened like the BTC announcement of PayPal, the recent US election and of course, the influence of rich people in social media. Bitcoin is still increasing right now but eventually, it'll go back to the normal prize, we know that correction exists in the market.

We had a small drop in bitcoin prices in the last week but we are already up 10% again since yesterday. 40,000 USD is still around the corner. In my opinion these new prices we see at the moment are long term and will stay here. There are too many people now who believe in bitcoins are willing to buy at a cheap level. Without so much support the price would have likely dropped down again to below $20,000 USD. But the longer the price will remain at these levels the more optimistic new investors will become and start buying new bitcoins.
It seems that bitcoin still keeps resisting, I thought correction will now occur, price drop but instead, it rises up again.
813  Economy / Economics / Re: people stop complain about economy and ccovid on: January 14, 2021, 08:40:05 AM
I'm not complaining just I said based on the fact that covid has a very bad impact, many people lose their jobs and it is very difficult to make money.
I hope they can rise this year and be able to live comfortably and prosperously.
It is true that life is getting more and more difficult. However, people have adapted to a new life after a year of plague.  This year will definitely be better, now is the time to use the experience and knowledge of ourselves to build a new plan.
Yeah we have the right to complain as we individuals experience the outcome of some nonsense decisions of our leaders. There are plenty ways to maintain but incompetency are the reason why we're having difficult problems. Life is getting harder because of covid-19 and the one who cause that should be more responsible and help other countries who's suffering a lot. Many people lose many things like jobs and money, so it's normal that we should complain on what's happening because we're the one who's affected.
814  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump bans Alipay and seven other Chinese apps on: January 14, 2021, 08:19:32 AM
I doubt that biden will lift the ban on this Chinese apps because US is not the only one who bans those apps that might affect the national security of the country. India also ban those Chinese apps like tiktok and such because it violates the personal information of an individual. Also, it doesn't affect too much the US, because they already have those payment gateway exclusively for their citizen. But who knows what they're thinking right now, we can't really determine what's in the leader mind or their purpose of doing it.
815  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Sino dito ang naka experience ng last bull run (2017) on: January 14, 2021, 08:06:34 AM

816  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Filipino crypto users on: January 14, 2021, 06:40:44 AM

817  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Panahon Na Nga Ba Maging "Cashless Society" ang Pilipinas? on: January 14, 2021, 06:26:29 AM
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin VS Gold - What is better for long term investors? on: January 14, 2021, 06:11:20 AM
This is a topic for about how many years and it's obvious what's the answer on this.

Gold is one of the practical investment, it will appreciate more than depreciate as time goes by so it'll guarantee you a profit soon. Unlike in bitcoin, we still don't know if it'll resist to it's current ATH right now but for me, I think it'll do when halving occur again. It already shows its potential for how many years and many of us are gaining profit from here.

Also, these 2 asset are very different, shouldn't be compared to one another. If you're a wise investor, you'll invest on both because both are worth it for long-term.
819  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ATH na ba? on: January 08, 2021, 01:39:11 AM
Pandemic gives Bitcoin a good moment, so malamang hindi na natin ito malilimutan.

Nakakabigla nga eh, another ATH at patuloy pa kaya ito tumaas hanggang $50k?

820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is FOMO why people interested in FOMO on: January 07, 2021, 10:39:02 PM
A very dangerous thing for me especially on things like this which is an investment. It'll just ruin the lives of the people who feel FOMO during the increase of bitcoin. They should know that it is too late to invest in bitcoin as we know that correction might occur but look, some people are still risking for the current hype. It's not normal to invest right now, too late, and definitely have huge risks.

Those people who always getting FOMO are the ones who always does reckless things and joining the hype.
